The most simplest of all is just opening a bottle of the essential oil and sniffing all the goodness of its aromatic power for 3 to 5 seconds.

For those who have electric diffusers with ultrasonic function, you can diffuse the essential oils into the air. It can help cleanse the air as it has antimicrobial, antibacterial and antiviral properties through its molecular chemical constituents.

Application on Skin

Essential oils should be diluted in carrier oils like coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, jojoba oil, or any vegetable fatty oils before using it as a massage therapy. You can do a DIY massage oil. Add 2 drops of essential oil in a 5 ml (100 drops). This is a 2% dilution. Mix it and it will be readily applied on your skin.

However, it is suggested that you do a SKIN TEST first of all the oils before making a recipe of it to make sure you have no allergies or irritations. Observe it within 16 to 24 hours.

Internally

There are only selected essential oils that can be taken orally. NOT ALL essential oils are safe for internal use. So please be wary or only consult a certified essential oil specialist for that or a certified aromatherapist.

For example an essential oil like lemon or wild orange, a certain dosage is required though the advice of an essential oil specialist.

Just to share a little secret, when we get out of the house or travel, we always carry with us some protective spray with our favorite essential oils mixed with hyrdrosols or distilled water like lemon, peppermint, lavendar, clove, frakincense, rosemary and lavender. It is not just soothing but we feel it's protective benefits against the common bacteria and viruses.

Rapid testing and PPEs for operating crew

CEB pilots and cabin crew will undergo rapid antibody tests before their assigned flights, as part of our commitment to flatten the curve. Operating crew cleared for flights will also don personal protective equipment. They are also trained to assist and isolate guests onboard, as needed.

Extensive aircraft disinfection

Our daily disinfection program includes the misting of the aircraft cabin, using an Airbus-approved disinfectant effective in eradicating viruses including the Coronavirus. This process is aligned with International Air Transport Association (IATA) guidelines, and ensures that all surfaces (such as passenger seats, overhead bins and cargo compartments) are covered and sanitized. Lavatories will also be sanitized every 30 minutes.

Hospital-grade HEPA air filters in Airbus aircraft

Air inside the cabin is changed every three (3) minutes, using High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters installed in our Airbus aircraft. HEPA filters can filter out viruses with a 99.99% efficiency, which is why it’s also used in hospital operating rooms.

Cebu Pacific Flights Remain Cancelled

A few hours ago, following through after the presscon with the President of the Republic of the Philippines, Cebu Pacific has issued a statement that all their flights for both local and international routes remain to be suspended as ECQ is not yet lifted on major cities and main hubs of the airline in the country until May 15, 2020. However, other parts of the country wherein provinces with no or less than confirmed cases of COVID19 is put under general community quarantine. LGUs are expected to still implement their own guidelines of the local quarantine.

Rebook or Refund for canceled Cebu Pacific flights

The Philippine government has extended the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the entire Luzon that includes the country's capital, Manila until April 30, 2020. This means that the succeeding flights of the Cebu Pacific will have to be suspended especially those scheduled until April 30, 2020. When the ECQ will be lifted, the airline will inform the public especially its passengers through their press release.

So what would the passengers do with their cancelled flights? Let us do check below.

Cebu Pacific - The Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF) today announced the establishment of a P100 million fund to help fight the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. The fund earmarked by GBF is over and above the ongoing initiatives that the various companies under the Gokongwei Group, one of the largest and highly diversified conglomerates in the country, are spearheading on their own.

In announcing its initiative, the philanthropic arm of the Gokongwei Group said that the P100 million fund will be used to support two key beneficiaries: national and local frontline health providers currently serving in various hospitals to combat the dreaded disease and the local communities where the conglomerate's businesses operate.

As an immediate step, GBF will provide urgently needed personal protective equipment (PPE), such as surgical masks, for health care front liners, as well as rapid test kits. The U.P. Medical Foundation, Inc. and PGH Medical Foundation, Inc. are among the select institutions in GBF's priority list.

Alongside GBF's efforts, the various companies of the Gokongwei Group have also stepped up their efforts to render assistance to its various stakeholders.

From its food manufacturing arm URC, the company is donating its food products that are basic necessities such as Great Taste coffee, Magic Crackers, Nissin Cup Noodles, Refresh Mineral Water and Vitasoy drinks which they intend to distribute to health workers in different hospitals now at the frontlines of the battle versus the deadly virus.

Its real estate property arm Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) is providing support for the purchase of test kits for various hospitals in the NCR. RLC will also be waiving rental charges for all non-operational tenants of its various malls for the period during which the mall is closed because of the community quarantine. Through the rent condonation RLC aims to assist their tenant establishments reallocate funds and allow them to extend financial assistance to their employees for this emergency.

Robinsons Bank has announced that it is providing payment extension to its customers for various loan products.

Its retail affiliate Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc., through its various formats, namely Robinsons Supermarket, The Marketplace, Shopwise, Ministop, and South Star Drugs and TGP, has been operating to continuously serve the needs of Filipinos consumers on a limited time period in compliance with the community quarantine in place.

Suspension of all Flight Operations due to COVID-19

ALL CEBU PACIFIC AND CEBGO FLIGHTS WILL BE CANCELLED from March 19 until April 14, 2020, in support of government regulations on COVID-19.

The Philippine government recently implemented Enhanced Community Quarantine over Luzon, and similar directives across various provinces in the country. We are ensuring the safety of our passengers and operations teams, in compliance with the stricter quarantine measures, land travel restrictions and regulations in place.

The last day of operations will be on March 18, 2020 where Cebu Pacific will operate the following flights from Manila Bangkok, Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Ho Chi Minh, Singapore, Taipei, Bali, and Jakarta. Please check the flight status through bit.ly/CEBflight-status.

Passenger options on cancelled flights due to COVID-19 are: rebooking with waived fare difference and change fee; full travel fund; and full refund. These options may be processed online via the “Manage Booking” portal in the Cebu Pacific website bit.ly/CEBmanageflight.

Those traveling between April 15-30 who no longer wish to push through with their flights may avail of rebooking with waived change fee and full travel fund with extended validity to 180 days.

Due stricter quarantine screening on our personnel imposed by the Provincial Government, we regret that all Cebu Pacific and Cebgo flights to and from Cebu scheduled for today are cancelled.

Passengers on the cancelled flights can choose from any of these options:

• Rebook the flight, with change fees and fare difference waived.
• Store the full value of the ticket in a Travel Fund. This is valid for 180 days and can be used to book any Cebu Pacific flight within the next 12 months.
• Get a refund. The refund will be according to the mode of payment. If paid in cash, refund must be claimed at designated Cebu Pacific ticket offices. If payment was made through debit or credit card, please allow at least three (3) billing cycles for refund to be credited into the account due to high volume of refund transactions

Manila operations during community quarantine period

ALL Cebu Pacific DOMESTIC flights to and from Manila remain CANCELLED until April 14 (Tuesday), in line with the Philippine government directive for a community quarantine over Metro Manila to contain the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

On top of this, there are travel restrictions being imposed by various Local Government Units nationwide. These orders restrict our ability to mount flights and accommodate passengers affected by cancellations. We continue to monitor developments and will provide updates on any changes to our flights.

Shall we start with the FAQS?

Will you cancel domestic or international flights due to the lock down announced by the Philippine government?

The airline will be posting travel advisories on the flights that are cancelled and still operating on its social media accounts. There are some flights from March 15 to April 14, 2020 that are canceled.

How will I know if my flight is cancelled?

Cebu Pacific will definitely inform for any flight cancellations prior ahead via email. You can also check the flight schedules at https://bit.ly/CEBflightsched

Given the situation, what options do I have?

The airline certainly provides options for the passengers regarding bookings. Please go to https://bit.ly/CEBmanageflight to manage your booking before your flight date. Let us check these options below.

a. TRAVEL FUND. You can put the full cost of your ticket in a virtual wallet. This fund is valid for 180 days and can be used as payment for future bookings as far as 12 months out. This excludes services fees, if any.

b. FREE REBOOKING. You can avail of one (1) rebooking with waived fare difference and change fees, for travel from April 15, 2020 onwards.

c. FULL REFUND. You can request for the total cost of your booking, including taxes and all add-ons. This excludes service fees, if any.

If you're traveling from April 15 to April 30, 2020, you can choose either of the following:

a. TRAVEL FUND. You can put the full cost of your ticket in a virtual wallet. This fund is valid for 180 days and can be used as payment for future bookings as far as 12 months out. The amount to be converted to Travel Fund excludes travel tax (plus its service fee) and/or insurance add-on, and other service fees, if any.

Travel Tax (plus its service fee) will be added to your Travel Fund within 15 days after completing your booking conversion to Travel Fund. For insurance, please call CHUBB directly at +63288592774 (hotline) or +63288640865 (24/7 medical assistance hotline) for refund request or insurance availment.

b. FREE REBOOKING. You can avail of one (1) rebooking with waived change fees. A minimal fare difference may apply.

If you're making a new booking this March and April 2020, we are offering FREE CEB Flexi. This gives you up to two (2) rebooking with waived change fees, subject to possible minimum fare difference. Please don't forget to select CEB Flexi add-on during booking.

My flight date is already past dated. Can I still manage my flight online?

Are Travel Fund and Free Rebooking options applicable to all routes?

Both domestic and international routes as long as the flight falls within the specified dates are all considered for this.

If my booking includes one route that's beyond April 30, 2020, am I eligible for Travel Fund or free rebooking for both routes?

Yes, you are eligible for either the Travel Fund or free rebooking options as long as one route includes a March or April 2020 travel date, and it belongs to the same booking reference.

What does "waived change/rebooking fees" and "fare difference" mean?

Fare difference is the amount difference between the existing booking and the new booking. When you rebook a flight, you must pay for a rebooking (also called as 'change fee') on top of the fare difference.

So how is the rebooking fee computed?

What is a Travel Fund?

Travel Fund is a virtual wallet used to store the total amount you've paid for in an existing booking. This can be used as a form of payment when you book a new flight in the future.

Travel Fund is only offered for cancelled flights or for flights with schedule changes of more than 60 minutes. For this special situation, we are offering Travel Fund even if the flight is not cancelled nor changed.

Travel Fund can be accessed through the Cebu Pacific website for GetGo members. For non-GetGo members, it is stored under your name in our system.

When you say Travel Fund is valid for 180 days, when does it start?

The 180 days starts on the day you convert your existing flight to a Travel Fund credit. You can then use it to book for a flight as far as 12 months away.

Here's an example:

Flight Date     March 31, 2020
Conversion Date to Travel Fund     April 22, 2020
Last Date to Use Travel Fund (180th day)     October 18, 2020

If you decide to book your new flight by the 179th day -- that is, October 17, 2020 -- you can select your travel date as far as October 17, 2021.

We will send you a reminder email 45 days before the last date to use your Travel Fund.

How long can I expect my refund to be credited back to my credit or debit card?

We process your refund request as soon as we get them. However, it may take up to two billing cycles for the amount to be added back to your credit card. Meanwhile, it may take up to 45 days or longer for debit cards. The turnaround time for crediting back to your credit/debit card is dependent on your card issuing bank.

How do I use my Travel Fund?

If you have a GetGo account, simply log in and book your flight as usual. When you reach the payment page, select Travel Fund as your form of payment.

If you don't have a GetGo account, please fill out the Guest Feedback Form at https://bit.ly/CEBrequest to use your Travel Fund. Please note that the fund can only be used by the same person who has the Travel Fund.

What is CEB Flexi?

CEB Flexi allows you to do two (2) rebooking with waived change fees, but subject to minimal fare difference. CEB Flexi add-on usually costs between Php499 to Php1,099 depending on your destination, but we're giving this for FREE due to the COVID-19 situation. Please note that while change fees are waived, rebooking may still subject to minimal fare difference.

Why are you giving travel options only until April 2020?

For now, our adjusted policies are applicable until April 2020. Don't worry, we are continuously reviewing our policies to ensure we respond to the evolving situation in a timely manner. Should there be further updates, we will post them on our Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as our website.

Why can't you give refund to all flights?

We offer refunds if we cancel our flights. Since we continue to operate as scheduled, our standard policies apply. We have, however, offered an exception to the policy by offering our passengers a Travel Fund option.

We understand that some people feel uneasy to push through with their travel. As such, we have revised some of our policies to provide flexibility to you.

Our booking has multiple passengers. Am I allowed to split the Travel Fund among the passengers?

Yes, you can split the Travel Fund among the passengers included in the same booking. A note indicating "For flight changes of individual guests, click here" will appear after you select 'Cancel Flight'

If I used a combination of GetGo points and card/cash for my booking, am I eligible for the travel options?

Yes, you are still eligible to avail of travel options based on the terms indicated. However, this needs to be processed by our agents. Please log a request via https://bit.ly/CEBrequest, so we can assist you further.

Why can't I change my seats in the flight?

In line with Covid-19, we have implemented a strict guideline of no changing of seats while in-flight. This is for the benefit of everyone to make contact tracing faster, in any case that a passenger becomes positive with the virus.

My hotel is requiring me to submit a travel certificate, so they can refund our hotel booking. How can I get one?
