Is It Time To Bring Hope Logan Back?

Is this really fair to Hope? Do viewers even miss her? Of course, many The Bold and the Beautiful fans certainly do have a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Victor’s primary concern will be Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Nick just got out of rehab. Even though Matt saved his life and is a reformed man, he is also a big trigger for Nick.

There is no way that Victor is going to allow anyone or anything to threaten his son’s sobriety.

So, it seems Matt might get wishy-washy about his next move again. One minute he’s leaving, and the next he’s staying.

However, when Victor gives an order, there are harsh consequences for not following through. So, Matt needs to be careful about how he proceeds.

Victoria Newman’s Passion

Over with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’s been a very naughty lady! Victoria and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) gave into temptation, and now can’t seem to stay away from each other.

There’s too much at risk right now, so they will scramble to keep their secret.

However, they are also engaging in passion right next door to Matt and Phyllis’ room.

So, they are going to get busted soon enough! I wonder if this intel will be used to keep Matt in town despite Victor’s orders? It certainly sounds like a possibility!

Kyle Abbott Scrambles

As for Kyle, he has been busted daydreaming. While Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) doesn’t know about what, he might realize it’s a woman. So, this could be an interesting twist, especially in light of the Vibrante/Jabot battle that is about to begin.

What Else to Expect

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, September 28 reveal that Phyllis and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will find common ground. This is an interesting twist, but what could it be about? 

At one time, Cane and Phyllis were in bed together (literally and figuratively). So, I wonder if some temptation could come back despite his feelings for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil)? Hey, without screw-ups, soaps would have no stories to tell, so stay tuned!

While there are some terrible true crime stories out there, there are also some folks who don’t seem like the brightest bulbs to undertake a career, and car wash crime seems particularly likely to fail. Read on for five of our top stories.

Thief Enjoys The Spoils

Car wash crime isn’t new news, and one that stands out happened back in 2013. Carwash.com reported about a man in Moses Lake, Washington State. According to the report, he went to the “Glass House Car and Dog Wash,” and while an employee was temporarily out of the lobby, a man took cash from the till and also raided the tip jar.

Then, perhaps celebrating his success, he put his car through the wash, where he was clearly caught on camera enjoying the spoils of his thievery. Unfortunately, a Facebook post was able to assist the police in identifying him.

Vacuuming Up The Coins

Next up, in the same year, CBS News reported that in Salt Lake City, two car wash thieves tried to vacuum the coins out of the machine. Unfortunately for them, “a passing police officer” spotted them, and they were arrested. The unlikely thieves had tried to change their plates using tape.

Sgt. Gary Young said that Todd Herburg, 53, and Scott Luker “had a good plan.” He admitted that they “were enterprising.” Although they failed, he gave them some credit, saying, “They get an A for effort but an F for execution.”

The Pants Problem

2018 was another year that produced folks trying to get away with things. CBS2 Iowa reported that two folks spent Christmas Day morning attempting to break into a car wash. Sadly, a lot of damage happened, and it totally ruined the day for the owner of the Cedar Rapids business, who missed family time with his son.

Making it worse, one of the thieves had his pants so low that the video picked up the crack in his behind.

That wasn’t much fun to see, but Jason Mettler managed a small smile when he said, “the whole time watching the video I was just like man, I’d just like to find him and buy him a pair of suspenders.“

Three Attempts, No Cash

In October of that year, another incident in Kansas City revealed just how determined some folks can be when it comes to crime. Fox 4 reported that “two knuckleheads” tried to burglarize a car wash in KCK three times.

Brian Underwood, who owned the place, had installed cameras, and inside of two weeks, the guys were seen trying to drill out the lock more than once. The first time, one of the would-be criminals was alone, but later, he brought along a buddy. But that didn’t help. Although they never got away with any cash, the lock needed repair.

Chased Away By Santa

The worst fail came a lot earlier and went down in 2008. Lowering the Bar reported that the thief had serious intentions and arrived with a weapon. It happened in Portland at the end of December, when someone wearing a mask attempted to rob the Washman Autospa.

He walked inside and pulled a gun on an employee working the morning shift. Scary, right? But then things went horribly wrong. “The robber then dropped the gun and it fell apart.”

When the armed robbery failed, the suspect then threatened the worker, who fought back with “a power-washer nozzle, with which he sprayed the robber in the face.”

He fled down the road, and the most humiliating aspect is that he was chased off by someone “wearing a Santa hat and wielding a hose.”

Changing his runaway plans at the last minute, Matt contacted Phyllis, but not to say goodbye again.

Asking Phyllis to run away, or stroll, away from Genoa City, Wisconsin, with him felt right. Matt has fallen for the woman who knocked him unconscious in the summer and intended to trade him to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) told his mother that she’s not the type of person to leave her loved ones behind.

And that’s what he, Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc), Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman), incredibly, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and others represent. Phyllis was touched and surely will stay.

Does Victor Newman Have His Security Team Watching?

Viewers continue to wonder why Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) didn’t recapture Matt and keep him on the Ranch.

Fans know that Matt saved Nick’s life when he saved his life after the overdose, but still, it’s reasonable to believe this is a modest plot hole.

Matt defied Victor when he allowed Phyllis to remove his ankle monitor. Generally, that would have resulted in a swift reprisal rather than a stern warning and no follow-through.

It’s probable that Victor has his security team monitoring Matt. That, along with Victor not wanting to come down hard on Phyllis, is the reason why Howarth’s character has escaped Moustache justice to this point in the plot.

Matt Clark Doesn’t Want To Leave

Matt thinks himself into a dark place quite often. He does that when dwelling on how wrongly he treated so many people in GC.

Phyllis is good for Matt because she genuinely sees that he wants to redeem himself. She’s also talked him away from leaving town by reminding him about the positive steps he’s taken in recent months.

However, his association with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) is ominous.

Devoted fans of this genre can foresee a scenario where his life is either permanently damaged through something dramatic that she’ll force him to be part of or, more soberly, Matt’s demise resulting from one of Patty’s reckless schemes gone wrong.

Patty Williams Represents Opportunity

The way Matt sees it, Patty is his best chance at proving he’s a changed man. Matt told Phyllis that his contact with Patty and her desire to use him for whatever scheme she’s planning can work to his advantage.

But as Phyllis said, Matt should steer clear of Patty because her history is replete with the remains of others who met grim fates or found themselves on the wrong side of the law.

Haiduk is still part of the cast, which means that a climax or possibly a grand finale is ahead for her character.

Matt believes he can control Patty, which projects a reckless calculation that doesn’t end well for him unless the outgoing and incoming writing staffs both want extended daylight for Howarth’s character.

Theo Carver Is Fed Up

However, Johnny taking meetings without him has tipped him off to most of his unsightly deeds and Theo is done.

Gabi Hernandez Needs Help

Someone has been stealing designs from Gabi Chic and Gabi wants to get to the bottom of this. Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) has followed a digital trail, but he cannot get any further.

However, Theo is very good at this sort of thing and Gabi believes he should be able to follow the trail and find out the truth about the knockoffs.

However, Theo and Gabi have had a very rough relationship lately. Theo was interested in Gabi at one time before she accused him of doing something he didn’t do and Theo backed away.

Theo isn’t sure that he can trust Gabi or wants to work with her. Can Theo put this behind him and renew his friendship with Gabi?

Will Theo Carver Take Gabi Hernandez Job Offer?

Theo isn’t accustomed to not working after having his own company in South Africa and then working at Dimera once he came home.

Theo also needs something to get his mind off of his attraction to Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). Of course, Gabi needs his help as well and Theo is just that type of guy.

Will Theo take a job at Gabi Chic and help expose whoever is stealing from Gabi? Could Theo find himself in danger after taking this job and trying to get to the bottom of it?

Theo is certainly trying to give himself something to do so he doesn’t end up getting his heart broken again. Is Gabi’s job offer exactly what the doctor ordered when it comes to Theo? Can Theo get to the truth?

Finn knows that this is coming out of nowhere and he is completely confused. Why would Steffy even bring this up to Carter and Daphne without even talking to him? Finn does not want Steffy to do this at all and has told her that she cannot do this.

Taylor Hayes Is Jealous Of Sheila Carter

Taylor knows that something is going on with Steffy, but she cannot figure out what. Steffy hasn’t mentioned this idea to her mother at all. Taylor is also upset that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) seems to be defending his ex-wife, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) against her daughter. Taylor is blaming Sheila for everything that Steffy is going through.

Taylor has no idea that Steffy has cheated on her husband and is pregnant with Carter’s child already. Taylor believes that Deacon should be supporting her daughter.

Taylor is also jealous that Sheila is hanging around Deacon and could certainly find herself upset with him that he won’t cut ties with Sheila. Taylor may find herself attending the same conference for some time away.

John “Finn” Finnegan And Taylor Hayes Have A Few Drinks

Finn and Taylor could find themselves at the same medical conference and decide to have a conversation.

Finn may let Taylor in on Steffy’s plans to be Carter and Daphne’s surrogate. Finn will certainly let Taylor know exactly how upset he is about Steffy’s offer and how she left him out of the conversation.

Could Finn and Taylor have a few drinks and discuss the Steffy situation? Supposed these to have a few too many and find themselves in bed just like Steffy and Carter after Monaco.

Could another wrong end up happening because of Finn and Taylor’s connection? Will Finn end up on common ground with Steffy after a one night stand with Taylor?

Nearly six years ago, Jason Landry was on his way from Texas State University to Missouri City, Texas, and he disappeared. Well, his remains were found and now his family might find some closure. Read on for more details.

Jason Was Identified

ABC Eyewitness News reported that “on Wednesday, Attorney General Ken Paxton’s office announced that DNA analysis identified the recent remains found in Caldwell County, Texas.”

The remains had been discovered by a person who lived locally back on Sept 8. “The University of North Texas Center for Human Identification (UNTCHI)” carried out the tests and identified Jason.

Jason Landry was 21 years old when he disappeared, and he was on his way home to spend the Christmas season with his family. Click2Houston reported that “skeletal remains were discovered near Luling, Texas, in the same rural area where… [his] wrecked car was found after he disappeared on Dec. 13, 2020.”

Over the years, searches took place, but he wasn’t found. Early searches that failed indicated there seemed to be signs he had gotten out of the wrecked car, but the trail disappeared.

One can only imagine that his family were beside themselves with worry. Eventually, that worry might have become an annual reminder of pain as each festive season approached.

A Family Member Speaks Out

When ABC7LA shared the news on Instagram, someone claiming to be related to the family of Jason Landry arrived in the comments section. @evangeline_5811 commented, saying, “Finally my family needed this closure answered.”

When another reader asked, “What happened if you don’t mind me asking. No disrespect. My condolences to you and your family,” Green answered.

She explained, “He was going home from college, and crashed in 2020 and I don’t remember much I was only 12. But they finally found him not too far so there’s still so much unknown. I know it really a shock for my Aunt since it was her cousin.”

Of course, it’s not possible to verify the exact relationship, but the description did match up with the facts of the missing person case.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) agreed to donate one of her frozen eggs and become the surrogate.

But that didn’t lessen Cater’s worries much, because he and the mother of his most unexpected child still have many steps to take before he can make it a reality.

John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was surprised that Steffy wanted to help Daphne Walton (Murielle Hilaire) to such a great extent.

But he knows that his wife has a big heart. Yet, the audience knows that Steffy’s motivation isn’t selfless and that she either needs to go against Finn’s advice or risk having a devastating truth be revealed.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan Must Move Quickly

Steffy could theoretically take advantage of Finn’s out-of-town medical conference. She could take Carter’s direction and direct the facility where her eggs are being kept to prepare one for use.

Depending upon how long Finn is gone, in soap-time, it’s also possible that Steffy makes it appear as though she completed the procedure.

Wood’s character could claim to have become pregnant within a short time thereafter.

Carter knows that time is fleeting because in this somewhat hurried tale, Steffy will be showing sometime next month.

So, the timing of her pretending to become his and Daphne’s surrogate could ideally be finalized immediately.

Daphne Walton Is Distracted By Joy

Daphne is one of the poor souls in this tale. The other is Finn. Together, they have no clue that their spouses betrayed their trust in a vow-breaking way.

Yes, it’s true that Steffy and Carter assumed their marriages were over. Steffy returned to Los Angeles, California, inebriated. Then, she joined Carter in having more alcohol, which fueled their impulsive connection.

Daphne is truly joyful that her best friend has committed to making a monumental sacrifice to help her and Carter have the child they were hoping for.

But Hilarie’s character is oblivious to what’s taken place and that her husband has created a complex scheme that could implode at any moment for the rest of their lives, not just during this pregnancy period.

Taylor Hayes Is Very Experienced With Betrayal

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) did love Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) once upon a soapy time. But his true love was, is, and will always be Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). She is his destiny, as Taylor has so often heard.

Learning that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) sought out Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) is troubling.

Taylor stole him from Sheila, and it appears that he’s not inclined to tell his ex-wife to stay away.

It’s not that Deacon is still in love with Sheila. He’s not. But what Taylor’s experience tells her is that a former love can reignite, meaning that her experience with Ridge repeatedly returning to Brooke informs her senses with the always quixotic Sheila.

Taylor must keep an eye on Sheila. That helps Deacon because Budig’s character could realize that she needs to reevaluate her engagement rejection or at least tell him that marriage is a possibility down the daytime road.

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) deception could come back to bite her.

There’s a good chance Paulina’s decision to go against Chanel Dupree DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) wishes on the baby shower will lead to a major party blowup.

After Chanel overheard Paulina and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) talking about baby shower plans, she immediately tried to shut those plans down.

Chanel doesn’t want a big fuss, especially since Olivia DiMera has already arrived and has everything she needs.

However, Paulina thinks she knows best and intends on moving ahead with the baby shower despite Chanel’s disapproval.

Although Paulina made Chanel think she’d drop the idea, she still intends to throw this party and will inevitably catch Chanel off guard.

Of course, Paulina is gladly deceiving Chanel at this point since she still wants this bash to be a surprise.

By convincing Chanel that she’s calling it off, Days spoilers suggest Paulina will indeed deliver quite the party shocker.

Chanel will likely be annoyed with Paulina for gathering guests and putting her on the spot like this.

Since Chanel has been dealing with a lot lately, she’s really not in the mood to party and put on a show for everyone in attendance.

Although Chanel may scold Paulina privately, she’ll probably plaster on a smile and just try to get through this. Unfortunately, Days spoilers suggest this party just might set the stage for some explosive DOOL drama.

Considering all the buildup, it seems likely that this baby shower will erupt into chaos. Maybe Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) could come and point the finger at Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) for helping EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), who set her up to look like a drug addict.

Then again, some other drama could explode instead, especially now that Paulina has made a bold move for reluctant Lani.

Paulina called the governor to ask for a favor and hopes to get Lani pardoned, but that plan could go wrong as well.

Whatever the case, Days spoilers say Paulina may face backlash from both daughters once the baby shower gets underway. Between the complaints and any other curveballs ahead, Chanel’s party could certainly be a memorable one.

This might even play a role in why Chanel and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) leave Salem with the kids.

All signs point to Johnny and Chanel moving the children to Italy in the not-too-distant future, so that’s important to keep in mind.

Victoria reasoned it was the safest way to run Vibrante while also stopping Victor from using the company as ammo.

Nikki is going to get started on her new endeavor. Meanwhile, Victor will give her all kinds of support.

However, it’s only because he has a plan on how to use the company as a weapon against his enemies.

When Nikki finds out, she will be furious. Even though they just reunited, this could break the couple apart again. So, Victor better watch himself.

Jack Abbott’s Mission

Over with Jack, he will be on a new mission. This one is more personal and is all about Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters). Diane won’t like that Jack and Nikki are still friends.

The lady thinks that Jack is just being made vulnerable by his friendship with Nikki. While Nikki has no intention of hurting Jack, we know that Victor will likely go behind her back.

So, while Jack will try to ease Diane’s fears, I’m afraid she might be right. It’s not Nikki they need to worry about, it’s the lady’s husband!

However, Diane could also have some worries about Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk). It seems that since the kidnapping, Diane has really been pushed over the edge. Ever since then, she’s been freaking out about every tiny thing.
