The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) divorced his wife because he intended to marry another woman. That’s why Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was shocked to learn that he isn’t planning his wedding.

Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) cited the pushback they would receive if a wedding was announced. She told Deacon that she loves him and, at this point in their lives, they don’t need to be married.

Taylor Hayes Is Only In So Far?

Deacon’s children are thrilled that he left Sheila and are proud of their father for being with a woman who they feel is more suited to him.

However, Hope Logan Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) and Deke Sharpe’s (Harrison Cone) shared assessment leaves out an important point: Sheila was totally committed to their father, who was her husband.

Deacon Sharpe Didn’t Realize What He Had

Taylor came into Deacon’s life during a period when he felt disillusioned with Sheila. It was no coincidence that the growth of his business at Il Giardino, which allowed Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to accept his investment pitch and later for Bikini Bar to open, impacted Deacon’s personal calculations.

He openly spoke with Hope and Deke about how Sheila’s reputation was limiting his life. True or not, that was a cruel and selfish conclusion to reach.

Deacon also sought input from his children because he knew they were opposed to Sheila. He was looking to hear opinions that reinforced what he already wanted to do.

Sheila Carter Deserves Better Next Time

It’s hard to imagine Sheila remarrying Deacon. But if he said it was over with Taylor, Brown’s character would probably take him back.

Sheila would be setting herself up for a far greater heartbreak if she ever reconciles with Deacon. He’s proven that her devotion isn’t enough.

So, if Taylor changed her mind, he could easily run back to her, which would be reminiscent of when Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) repeatedly left Budig’s character and reconciled with his destiny, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).

It won’t be easy, but Sheila should pursue another guy. She had a connection with Deacon, but he doesn’t believe in her or realize that he was able to achieve his success because of her love and support.

General Hospital fans will remember that Tristan accompanied Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to Port Charles after he was released from the WSB black site in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Tristan came to the hospital as a new heart surgeon, picking up the slack where Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) left off. Isaiah, of course is unable to do surgery due to the injury caused by Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).

An interesting question is why Anna would introduce Josslyn and Tristan; might it possibly be a collaboration between Anna and Jason, hoping Tristan could influence Josslyn to leave the WSB?

Or might Anna find that Josslyn and Tristan already know each other, either through the spy organization or possibly through an Australian connection?

Tristan Is From Australia, And Has The Accent To Match

Tristan is from Australia, and he has the accent to match-unlike Mac Scorpio, (John J. York) who obviously lost his accent years ago, had he ever had one at all.

Back when Josslyn was much younger, she would sometimes spend summer breaks in Australia with her dad, Jasper Jacks (Eden McCoy) after he and her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) broke up.

Being a doctor, Tristan is likely at least ten years older than Josslyn, and Australia is a big country, but it’s possible their paths crossed. Josslyn’s been in the WSB over a year now, so depending upon when Tristan left, it’s possible they know each other from that as well.

There is also a possibility  perhaps he knows her from when he was a WSB doctor, he did mention he’d worked in a WSB hospital-maybe during training, she had a physical.

If This Meeting Is A Set Up For Convincing Josslyn To Leave The WSB, It Won’t Work

If, perchance, this meeting with Tristan is a set up for convincing Josslyn of the dangers of the WSB, it won’t work any better than anyone else’s plan.

NO ONE is going to scare Josslyn out of the spy business, because she’s already been in one of the most scary and dangerous situations possible, especially for a young agent. 

Even her boss, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) wants to keep her close to home and not put her out in the field yet, after such a serious injury.

But Josslyn is a very stubborn young lady, and she’s not happy with Jack not sending her on assignments.

There is no horror story that Anna, Tristan, or Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) can tell her that will keep her from her chosen profession!

When Alexis presents this “news flash” to Willow, she knows that Trina and Kai must have told her the same thing he told her-and she can’t be tried again for this crime because of double jeopardy laws.

Willow tried, but failed, to implicate Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) who’d recently came home from the burn clinic overseas and reclaimed their children.

He showed up unexpectedly at the Nurses’ Ball and scooped Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) up in his arms, who had been on stage. Willow and Michael have been in a custody battle ever since, even though it looked like they’d worked out an amicable compromise-for a while.

Willow won’t lose all she has, her children, her congressional seat, and her power-she’ll kill before that happens. And if Alexis presents an obstacle to her freedom and her needs, she won’t hesitate to kill her or anyone else who gets in her way.

Willow thinks she can control everything and everyone in her life, although she’s still trying to figure out how to work around Michael and his control.

Sheila Carter Is Not Fully To Blame

It’s so easy to put Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) as the proverbial fall guy or, in this instance, fall lady. But as the summer worked through its last full month, Steffy and her husband planned a romantic replay on the streets in Monaco that led to yet another conflict with Finn’s birth mother.

Viewers recall the brilliant sequence they witnessed a handful of years ago. It was the culmination of a storyline where Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) made Steffy and the rest of the world believe that Finn was shot dead in cold blood by Sheila.

However, Li only faked her son’s death certificate and provided care that allowed him to regain full health. Then, he took a trip to Monaco, where he thrilled his wife with what was his miraculous reappearance.

Steffy blaming Sheila’s presence on the beach in Monaco, after Wood’s and Novlan’s characters reminisced outside the church where they rediscovered each other earlier this decade, was a clear overreaction.

It set in motion a series of events that could alter the Finnegans’ lives forever.

Carter Walton Was In Serious Distress

Carter finally found a woman who was totally devoted to him until she wasn’t. Similar to Steffy, Daphne Walton (Murielle Hilaire) was confronted by a totally unexpected outcome.

She never expected to be unable to conceive, having married Carter because they intended to start a family shortly after their marriage. But Li delivered bad news to Daphne, with Steffy by her side for support.

The early menopause diagnosis meant that it was highly unlikely that Daphne could give birth.

She was so crushed that a panicked trip to Paris, France, was rushed and left Carter feeling abandoned. Then, Steffy walked into FC’s executive suite where he was still reeling many hours later.

John Finn Finnegan Can Only Accept So Much

Finn finally realized what Sheila’s presence in his life creates. The chaos that ensued in Monaco was a major eye-opener.

So, upon returning to LA, Finn was relieved to find Steffy at the cliff house. They talked everything out, and he was serious about cutting Sheila off once and for all.

But what Finn didn’t know was that Steffy harbored a mind full of betrayal. She initially couldn’t bring herself to tell him what happened with Carter and later, when meeting with Saint-Victor’s character, appeared determined to soon relay the truth to her husband.

However, it’s easy for all fans to see that Steffy could soon learn that she is pregnant. While the circumstances are different, devoted fans recall that Steffy once had a paternity test because she didn’t know if her husband, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), or his father, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), held paternity rights to her expected child.

Steffy’s impulsive cavort with Bill was different than what just happened. Her and Carter’s use of alcohol is part of the explanation, but Finn will never buy that and offer instant forgiveness.

That assumes a paternity test will be needed, and he learns about it like Liam once did during one of the more memorable reveal episodes in recent B&B history that took place in the area outside of the cliff house overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

A Permanent Way To End Finn And Steffy’s Marriage?

Steffy and John ‘Finn’ Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) marriage has been up and down and left and right since the moment it began.

Every other week Steffy is upset, Finn begs for forgiveness, and we start this dance over again. There hasn’t really been anything big enough to finally drive that stake in between them.

However, a single night with Carter and that could be happening before we know it.

As much as Finn begs and pleads for Steffy, we don’t see him begging for her back after it’s announced that she’s pregnant with Carter’s baby. We may have finally found the one thing that will stop whiny, sorry, I mean Finn, from begging.

How Will This Affect Carter?

Meanwhile, while everyone is worried about how Steffy and Finn will take this, we have Carter. Yes, he is just as responsible as Steffy in this whole mess. You need two to tango. But I think I feel worse for him.

Of course, Steffy has been through the wringer, but some of it she brings on herself. I don’t mind Carter.

He’s done shady things. Everyone has. But he has Daphne (Murielle Hilaire), and she would have to watch Carter, as he has the one thing with Steffy she never could. A child. That would be heartbreaking.

Either way, Carter should not have said those doomed words. He’s jinxed the entire situation. Of course something is going to come from that night. Whether it is the pregnancy storyline or something else.

Simon Cowell will miss some of America’s Got Talent (AGT) over the next few weeks and the reasons given were that he has to undergo back surgery. Read on for more details.

An Old Health Issue

His representative explained why Simon misses part of Season 21 of AGT and Entertainment Weekly carried the story. The rep said, “Obviously medical matters are private, but it’s routine and he will be back in a few weeks.”

Meanwhile, TMZ cited sources who told the outlet that the procedure isn’t a new health crisis and it comes after physical issues from his serious 2020 electric bike accident.

The accident broke his back and led to a six-hour fusion operation involving a metal rod and screws, and fans worried he might never walk again.

Live Shows Replacement?

Cowell was on the judges panel through the newest season and he was seen during the Quarterfinals live on August 18. However, he’s going to miss the next stages of that segment. At the moment, it’s not known who might replace him.

USA Today reported that “a group of guest judges is expected to fill his seat during his absence.” Hollywood Life also confirmed that NBC and producers are looking at temporary fixes, but they haven’t released any actual names yet.

Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Sofía Vergara will carry on at the table without Simon because the show isn’t going to end because one judge can’t make it.

Bravely Fighting Back

Spinal surgery isn’t anyone’s idea of fun, but old injuries can stick around. Fans already know that Simon Cowell dealt with his injuries bravely and he missed live shows back in 2020 after the initial fall.

TV Shows Ace reported that Cowell is “stepping away from the show for health-related reasons.” It sounds scary, but his team insists the surgery is straightforward.

He isn’t walking away permanently and fans hope that he will be back in his judge’s chair before Season 21 of America’s Got Talent wraps up. Until then, expect plenty of commentary on social media about the popular missing judge.

Nick Opens Up To Victor About His Experience In Rehab

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) visits Nick Newman (Josh Morrow) in rehab;  Victor says he looks good.

Nick admits it’s not easy asking for visitors-he thought he could do it alone and no one would have to see him like this. Victor reminds him he is his son, and Nick admits the shame he feels when Victor looks at him.

Victor keeps reminding him he’s his son, and continues to encourage him to never get up, telling him he can be an example to others.

Nick then tells his father about Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) and her choice to also check into rehab because of his suggestions; Victor worries about Nick and Marie becoming too close.

Lily Asks Jack’s Advice

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) makes a call and tells Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) won’t get Chancellor without a fight.

When he arrives, he appreciates her wanting to end the war by paying the debt; but his answer surprises her-even though he tells her the claim is legitimate.

He also shares his findings that his father could have thrown out the agreement with Katherine Chancellor, (Jeanne Cooper) but he didn’t. Jack’s advice to Lily is that she and Billy should work this out for themselves, as he can’t speak for his brother and has to step back.

Jack continues, and proposes that the offer was proof she thinks the claim is legitimate-Lily won’t back down, but Jack tells her she needs to ask herself some serious questions.

Diane Is Suspicious

After seeing Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) together at Jabot having a drink, Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) has questions; they are there discussing the relaunching of the viral competition for Vibrante.

Just as Kyle and Victoria confirm neither of them has spoken to their fathers about this, Diane walks in with Jack. Victoria talks about taking off the foundation makeup she has on, but Jack and Diane don’t hear the “foundation makeup” part!

So they will wonder what’s going on-Kyle says they’ll get their explanation after Jack and Diane come back after their holiday! The two get drinks afterwards and Diane vents to her husband that she doesn’t trust Victoria at all!

So, what he thinks isn’t a gamble but a sure thing hasn’t been conclusively proven, and so Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) still maintains control of the quid pro quo asset Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gave her.

The documents Billy found that apparently make the Abbott family the rightful owners of Chancellor. But they haven’t been proven legally.

Billy’s mentions of his attorneys and intention of being in charge at what was for decades Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) signature company in a matter of days is premature. Lily plans to fight him, and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is enlisting allies.

Lily Winters Doesn’t Need Chancellor

Devon Winters (Bryton James) offered subjectively good advice to his sister at Society. Cane sat across the table from his one-time brother-in-law and smirked at the suggestion that Lily doesn’t need Chancellor.

While that’s true, Cane’s retort stung. Devon didn’t allow Cane to take Katherine’s inheritance when Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) launched that effort during the period when Daniel Goddard (Cane) originally embodied that character. To be fair, the circumstances were only mildly comparable.

However, Devon’s point was that if Billy is proven right, then Lily won’t be losing anything s he needs. Plus, engaging in a protracted legal battle wouldn’t be productive for Winters Incorporated.

Billy Abbott Needs Chancellor In His Life

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) needs her fiancé to be happy. Billy is the father of their expectant child and could be blissful long before their baby is born if the documents he discovered in Chancellor’s old school paperwork trail are real and determined.

Billy wants to run Chancellor, not share power with his siblings. But he hasn’t mentioned how the presumed profits would be shared.

If, as Billy believes is true, their father’s (John Abbott, played by Jerry Douglas) loan was never repaid, then Lily isn’t the rightful owner of Chancellor and neither were the other owners before her.

Victor Newman’s Tactics Aren’t Predictable

Ideally, Billy would have loved to have taken Chancellor from Victor. His second choice would have been to have seized it from his mother, Jill Abbott (last played by Lauren Koslow).

It’s interesting to wonder whether Billy would have taken Chancellor from Katherine while she was alive. But that plot point is moot. What matters is today’s well-crafted storyline that reaches all the way back to the 1970s and weaves key modern characters into the fray.

Victor intends to use Newman Media to smear Billy because he sees him heading Chancellor as a certain disaster. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is ramped up to do his father’s bidding this time around. Billy wouldn’t be prevented from taking power if that’s all Victor is planning, with viewers knowing that must be his opening soapy salvo.

But let’s face it: Lulu is doing the best that she can. She’s a good mom that wants the best for her kids. That, and she wants to keep them safe at all costs, which is why she intervened during the speedboat fiasco. No one can blame her for that.

Victor Always Chooses A Fight

Right now, Victor’s son is fighting for his life. His wife is pleading with him to focus on that rather than Jack. Of course, Victor always thinks he can control every little thing in the universe.

So, why not both? Surely, the great Victor can multitask the life of his son and a petty business scuffle with his longtime rival.

That’s the problem, Victor. You can’t. You can’t tell your wife and us that you’ll give anything you can to help Nick when your priorities are this messed up.

Luck has been on Victor’s side for too long. He always manages to find a way to get what he needs, and he doesn’t seem to care who it hurts.

How Much More Can Nikki Take?

Nikki has put up with so much over the years. Victor’s ego and his refusal to ever let anything go.

She’s always had excuses for him, and he’s always said he’s doing it for his “family.” But right now, even the great Victor is wrong. It’s crazy to say, but it needs to be said. Victor is wrong.

He’s choosing a business rivalry over his son. We don’t think that’s the kind of thing Nikki can just shrug off.

We think it could come down to an ultimatum from Nikki. Help her with Nick, or if he doesn’t, she’s gone.

The threat could be very real, but we believe that at that point, Victor may finally see the light and agree that he needs to focus more on his son. He might finally learn that some fights just aren’t worth the price.
