One of Michael Jackson’s former British bodyguards claims that he had a secret girlfriend. Matt Fiddes declines to identify her, and also talks at length about Michael’s drug addiction. Problem is, the guy seems to be lying. Sky news has a short clip of their interview with him, and he comes across as dishonest. At several points he has pronounced pauses and “um”s combined with looking downward, one of the classic signs of searching for something to say. And Fiddes doesn’t say anything that hasn’t already been reported in the media in terms of the drug use.

Michael Jackson’s former British bodyguard says the star had a girlfriend in the months before he died, and recalled “confiscating” bags of prescription medicine from the singer out of fear that he might die. Matt Fiddes, a 30-year-old martial arts expert from southwest England, laid full blame for Jackson’s death on doctors who supplied him with prescription medicines, which many suspect lead to heart failure. Fiddes said the doctors had Jackson’s “blood on their hands”.

Fiddes was introduced to Jackson by magician Uri Geller about a decade ago, according to his interview with CBS News’ partner network Sky News. “I never witnessed him actually taking drugs but I knew they were there, and I confiscated packages, and Uri did too,” said Fiddes. “Uri confiscated injection equipment from his room… Uri would scream at Michael, you know, intensely, to stop doing this but we were getting pushed out (by the doctors).”

“We went to great efforts to keep the doctors away. But as soon as we said anything and it got back to Michael, Michael would have a screaming fit that we were interfering with his private life, that he knew what he was doing,” said Fiddes, adding that he believes the star was “in denial.” … “As far as I’m concerned they have Michael’s blood on their hands,” he said of the doctors. “They know what they’ve done and there’s people out there who could have helped, could have stepped in, but didn’t do for financial reasons.” … Fiddes said Jackson was not a “druggie,” and did not use illicit narcotics like cocaine, but that he was addicted to pain killers.

Fiddes would not name Jackson’s alleged secret girlfriend, but said she was “someone special” to the global pop star, and that they had known each other for some time. “I’m not going to name who she is but I think the family were aware that there was someone special in his life who he loved and adored and had his ups and downs with.

“I don’t know how long they’ve been a couple. I know she’s been with him for some time in different capacities but… it’s up to her if she wants it to come out or the family to speak about this very private information.”

I’m assuming the person Fiddes is referencing is Grace Rwaramba, one of the Jackson children’s former nannies. It’s been rumored off and on for years that they were secretly together, though nothing ever came of it. But that would make sense given Fiddes comment about Jackson being with the secret girlfriend in “different capacities.”

It sounds to me like this guy is doing nothing more than repeating rumors – both those about Michael’s health and person life. He’s jumping on board and capitalizing while he can, like a lot of other people have done and will continue to do. He seems shifty and like he’s working far too hard to answer relatively simple questions. Especially considering you’d think the guy had talked about Michael a lot lately – this stuff shouldn’t take so long to come to him. He also paints himself in a really heroic light, in terms of trying to save Jackson and keep him away from drugs, while castigating others. It’s like he pulled out the most recent “News of the World” and decided to repeat pages 4 -6 and see if anyone bought it.

Depending on how you look at it, Alec Baldwin is either really gutsy, totally insane, or able to learn from his mistakes. Or perhaps a combination of the three. After the controversy of the infamous “rude, thoughtless little pig” voicemail message he left for his then 11-year-old daughter Ireland, you’d think Alec would hesitate to bring up the incident again. Sure he did the initial requisite round of apologies and explanations, and he seemed genuine in his regret. Partly because he didn’t apologize for everything, only the things he felt he truly did wrong – and I suppose that’s better than saying you’re sorry for everything and not meaning it.

Nonetheless, that was two years ago and Baldwin has done a good job of moving on, thanks to his consistently stellar performance on “30 Rock. But he’s going to bring it all up again – because Alec has an idea or two about how you should parent your kids.

The actor, long embroiled in nasty family turmoil involving his daughter, recently told an interviewer: “It will be ironic for some people, but I’m going to write a parenting book.

“We’re at… an awful place right now in terms of parenting. Kids have too much power and call too many of the shots, telling their parents what they will and won’t do.”

…Alec thinks modern parents have gone soft, and he blames the bad economy and other social stresses for pulling them away from their kids.

“We live in stressful times,” Alec said. “People come home, walk up the driveway, put the key in the door, and they can’t do another hard job. Parenting your children effectively is a tough job.”

Said a source close to the Emmy-winning actor: “He really believes he can help other people with their parenting problems because he’s been through the whole thing himself - the good, the bad and the ugly. And he’s a lot more learned and loving as a result.

The thing is, much as I think it’s ill-advised and big-headed of Alec Baldwin to think he’s in a position to offer advice to other parents, I agree with every word he’s said. I cannot believe the way I see children bossing around their parents, telling them what they will and won’t do. Not that I didn’t have my moments as a kid, but you can tell when a child is throwing a once-in-a-while random tantrum versus behaving in their everyday manner. Parents let far too much bad behavior pass without raising an eyebrow.

That’s a big part of it. Yesterday I was on the train, and this kid kept obnoxiously yelling at his mom over and over again, annoying the whole train. I wanted to glare at the kid, but quickly realized the real problem – his mom had her headphones on. Loudly. She didn’t want to be bothered with her kid (who was only trying to tell her about his afternoon at day camp) so the rest of us had to hear him screaming. So… Alec Baldwin, you may not have a leg to stand on, but I’m still going to read your book. And do my best not to call my future kids barnyard animals.

What would you do if Ryan Gosling hit on you? Would you A) Run straight over to your D-list boyfriend and whine about it or B) Take your clothes off and whisper “Take me, now, Ryan Gosling!”? If your answer was B, congratulations, you’re normal. If your answer was A, then you suck Lauren Conrad. According to Radar, Lauren Conrad was complaining to her boyfriend Kyle Howard that Ryan Gosling was trying to hit on her. Radar even has Lauren saying “Who does he think he is?” Uh… Lauren, honey, who do you think you are? That’s not all, though. Apparently, Kyle and his D-lister buddies got their panties in a wad and started chanting something about going to find Gosling to beat him up. Douchebags.

File this under one of the more bizarre conversations we’ve overheard:
Lauren Conrad and boyfriend Kyle Howard were whipping themselves into a frenzy Thursday night at Deluxe, where we just happened to be an earwitness.

Lauren claims that Ryan Gosling tried to hit on her and she told Kyle, “Who does he think he is? I’m with you. I would never…” At that point we couldn’t stop listening and Kyle said: “I know baby, if I was there I would have set him straight.”

But sadly, that wasn’t the end of it. Kyle then started chatting with a friend and suddenly there was testosterone in the air, and a lot of it. “Let’s go find Ryan Gosling. Let’s beat him up,” one of them said. And yes, it was funny that they kept calling him “Ryan Gosling” instead of just Ryan.

Of course we have no idea if Ryan Gosling did hit on Lauren, we only know what we heard. And there are many who would say if he did hit on her she should be flattered!

Apparently the people over at Armani have a funny idea of sexy. “Sexy” means giant spools of thick, twisty rope. It means shiny, shiny man hair. It means flat, dead, soulless eyes. Not ceiling eyes. Serial killer eyes. Ultimately, it means the Beckhams. Because what’s the only thing that’s sexier than giant, threatening curls of rope? Posh’s collarbone, naturally. Both of which can be used as a weapon, interestingly enough.

A month after David Beckham unveiled his last underwear campaign for Emporio Armani, the footballer is back in another new advert - but this time with his wife Victoria. Following on from their first more restrained joint ad in January, the celebrity couple give us an insight to their private life as they cuddle up in their undies.

In a bizarre new image, a lingerie-clad Victoria, with a Geisha-style knot in her hair, lies astride her body oil-covered husband on top of a giant rope. Exactly what the couple are doing with the rope is unclear, but perhaps it’s just as well we don’t find out. In solo shots for the Italian designer last month, the 34-year-old athlete posed provocatively with the same rope wrapped around his toned body and six pack.

As well as the rope’s return, it appears Victoria’s former 34DD bust is back too. Wearing little more than a black bra and knicker set, the former Spice Girl, 35, appears back to her busty best in the cleavage-heavy shots. Posh was reported to have undergone a breast reduction operation down to a 34B in May - the same month these latest shots were taken.

In another new shot for Armani’s new autumn/winter underwear collection, the couple lie beside each other in predatory semi-crouching positions as David hangs off a metal rail. Instead of her brunette bob, Victoria goes for the Cleopatra look with her plaited fake ponytail on the crowd of her head and her dramatic eye make-up. The new shots bring the couple closer than their previous ad, which shows Victoria sitting on the floor, while her husband lay on the bed.

To be fair, I don’t think the Daily Mail has ever written a single article that discussed someone’s appearance in a positive light. Someone’s either too fat, or if they lose weight they’re anorexic, if they’re sporting more than a teeny, tiny baby bump they’re “heavily” pregnant. Let’s not forget their epic series of articles tearing apart female celebrities disgusting knees. If someone looks good, they’re criticized for airbrushing, and if they look bad, the Mail will pull in an expert surgeon to give advice on what they need to have done. It’s never-ending.

All that said, Posh and Becks look like the undead. Assuming the undead are very, very sexy of course. But no way would I want to see David Beckham in his underwear sporting zombie eyes. I don’t care how good he looks – he also looks like he wants to eat your soul. Do you really want that? David Beckham noshing on your soul? Sexy indeed.

After spending last week proclaiming Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Aniston “The Next Big Couple”, this week’s tabloids seem to be taking stock of What Went Wrong (And In Such A Short Time). Most versions have Jennifer Aniston as the poster girl for clingy neediness, The Girl Who Can’t Keep A Man. Yesterday’s National Enquirer report had Aniston giving Bradley a “relationship timeline” on their first date, a story that seemed to reek. Now In Touch is chiming in with the same kind of version of events. Apparently, the Aniston-Cooper relationship didn’t get off the ground for several reasons: Bradley Cooper is seeing Lake Bell, amongst others; Bradley’s head isn’t in the game because he hit it big so suddenly; Bradley was just being polite to Jennifer and he doesn’t really feel anything for her; and lastly, Jennifer comes across as “needy” and she “scares” guys off:

The morning after the date, Jennifer called a friend to dissect every detail. “She said they had a real connection,” a confidante tells In Touch. “She was hoping they’d see each other again. She was on a real high.”

But Jen’s giddiness was short-lived. Another friend called her to break some bad news - Bradley had also been seeing actress Lake Bell for the prior two weeks and was spotted openly flirting with her at the Whitney Museum gala on June 17 - the night before his date with Jen.

“Bradley and Lake were whispering intimately,” the witness tells In Touch. “he had his hands all over her legs.” It wasn’t the first time the two were seen together. Bradley and Lake both attended the CFDA awards two days earlier.

Ever since The Hangover premiered, Bradley’s been bombarded with attention from women.

“Everyone’s looking at [Bradley] differently,” his pal says. “He has no idea how to handle the craziness, but he’s not complaining. He wants to ride it out.”

Is Jen moving too fast?
Jen was crushed when she heard that Bradley was seeing other women - but not surprised. “She thought it was too good to be true,” the confidante adds.

Jen has asked Bradley to spend a long weekend in Mexico with her in July, but he had turned her down, saying he was busy. Then she invited him to a barbecue at her house later in the summer. “He said he would try to make it,” the confidante adds.

Jen’s friend thinks Bradley was just being polite and has no intention of getting serious with her.

“She can sometimes come off as needy and has no idea that she’s not coming off as fun and spontaneous. She ends up scaring guys off,” the friend says.

“She’s pinning all of her hopes on [Bradley] being ‘The One’.” the confidante explains. “He simply isn’t.”

I really, really hope that Jennifer doesn’t think in terms of a certain guy being “The One” after one date. I do think In Touch has it right on a few points, though. First, I think if Bradley is with any woman, it’s probably Lake Bell. There were rumors about the two of them before this whole Aniston drama, but of course, he and Lake could be “just friends” too. Secondly, I do think that for men (and some women), Aniston doesn’t come across as spontaneous. Just my take.

In Touch also has this little blurb about what will likely be Aniston’s next tabloid conquest - none other than Gerard Butler. It sort of contradicts their report that Bradley just isn’t that into Aniston, but here goes:

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler “flirt, but it’s pretty innocent,” says her pal. “If [Bradley Cooper] doesn’t work out, she would certainly be open to dating Gerard.”

But according to another source, Gerard and Bradley have become pals, and since Jen personally chose Gerard to star in her new movie Goree Girls, which she is also producing, “she’s keeping it strictly professional,” adds the pal.

On an added note about my boyfriend, my immortal beloved Gerard “Not Capable of an Innocent Flirtation” Butler might be headed to the pokey for allegedly beating up a paparazzo. The court date was set for this month, but yesterday it was pushed back until August 18. He could go to jail! Maybe Aniston will visit him.

The City of Los Angeles is currently having a very long and technical press conference regarding Michael Jackson’s Tuesday memorial service. The theme of which is “Stay home, stay home, stay home!” I’m not being a smartass, they really did say that in a variety of ways at least a dozen times.

Here’s the nitty gritty of what’s being planned in terms of ticket availability and general viewership.

• There will not be a funeral procession

• 17,500 total tickets available for fans

• 11,000 of those tickets are for a seat at the actual memorial service at the Staples Center

• An additional 6,500 tickets are for a seat at a simulcast at the Nokia Theater across the street from the Staples Center

• No tickets are being sold for the memorial service – people can register their names for a ticket raffle on the Staples Center’s website by 6:00 p.m. Saturday night. Randomly drawn names will get 2 tickets each

• Media may or may not be allowed inside for the memorial – they’re “still working on it.”

Several officials noted over and over again that the best way to honor and remember Michael is by staying home and watching the memorial there and “not coming to this venue if you do not have a ticket.”

One journalist asked how the city was paying for Jackson’s memorial, given the state of the budget and the economy. An official replied that “the city would deeply appreciate help to offset what are the incremental costs, the non-police costs” including the staging, etc. She said they’d built in some of the costs into the budget for unexpected events, which include four extraordinary events budgeted each year, but that they could definitely use some help and to please email if you’d like to pony up.

Another journalist asked if they were concerned about people trying to scalp tickets. An official responded, “folks I want to remind everybody this is a memorial service. I hope that people have dignity; we’re hoping that no one takes advantage of this particular process… For those that would try to take advantage of this - shame on them.”

At one point several journalists yelled (in the most panicked tone) “The website is down” meaning the Staples Center’s website had gone down, but it appears to be up and working now.

They literally got down to the details of the bleachers at one point, and it sounds like the city has everything under control, but they’re desperate to maintain the crowds and are begging people to please not show up. You won’t get in, you will get turned away… I’m guessing it’s going to be hot out… just don’t do it. I’m sure it’ll be quite the affair, and it’ll likely be broadcast on all the major television stations and websites.

Did Megan Fox just go on her ultimate dream date?

The 23-year-old stunner shared an intimate dinner with Zac Efron on Tuesday night at Pace, an upscale restaurant in Los Angeles’ woodsy Laurel Canyon neighborhood, Celebuzz can exclusively report.

A fellow diner revealed, “They were very friendly and their faces were close when they talked.”

It’s no secret that the Transformers 2 actress has had a thing for the 21-year-old High School Musical heartthrob for quite some time. As we reported back in January, the two flirted at the Golden Globe Awards, raising eyebrows at an after-party.

Megan has even said, “What you don’t know is that Zac and I are the same person. It’s like Janet and Michael [Jackson], we are the same person.”

Was this just a dinner between two mega-hot friends? Or something more complicated?
It could be much trickier for him than for her.

Megan, for one, insists that she’s absolutely unattached, while rumors continue to swirl that the undeniably sexy actress is dating co-star Shia LaBeouf or possibly still together with ex-fiance Brain Austin Green. Zac, on the other hand, is pretty serious with long-time girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.

Yeah, in the past few weeks Megan has been photographed in a series of faux-seductive poses or “candid” paparazzi shots with Shia and Brian. Many think that Megan was just doing the Shia stuff for Transformers promotion. Some thought that she was probably nailing both Brian and Shia. And now Zac? It’s too obvious. Even “Bob Hollywood” over at Vanity Fair is calling Megan’s play “the oldest trick in the Hollywood book”, and no, he’s not calling Megan a prostitute:

A few nights later, she supped with co-star Shia ‘Don’t Call Me Sleepy’ LaBeouf at Nobu in Manhattan, fueling intense speculation about her love life.

Boy oh boy! This is the oldest trick in the Hollywood book. I feel like I’m back in the days of Hy Gardner, Hedda Hopper, and Louella Parsons! This is how the old studio bosses used to do it. You promote a picture by sending your leading lady out on a “date.” You have her deny something that wasn’t even a rumor to begin with—making sure that the thing she is denying involves another rising star. And you make double extra certain that the tabloids are there to drink it all in.

Frankly, I’m sick of it! Sick of being used! O.K., I’m not really sick of it. I don’t really care, in fact. This is how the game is played. And for all I know, Megan and Shia are enjoying a nice roll in the hay right now in some Malibu bungalow. Which is their right. Hell, I know I would do the other one, if I were either one of them, if that makes any sense.

The LAPD is coming under fire for failing to immediately secure the scene after Michael Jackson died in his home last week. Their reasoning is that they didn’t see it as a crime scene when they arrived – Jackson had not been ruled dead, and there were no signs of foul play. Thus it seemed more like a medical emergency. Others are arguing that they should have played it safe and secured the scene if for no other reason than it’s Michael Jackson.

The investigation of Michael Jackson’s death is widening as questions intensify about the drugs he took, the doctors who provided them and the actions of police.

Why didn’t police seal the mansion where he had been living? Why didn’t they get immediate search warrants? Why did they tow away a doctor’s car right after the death but not declare the home a crime scene? And why was Jackson’s sister Janet allowed to move possessions out of the mansion two days after the death, before police searched it?

Los Angeles police say proper procedures were followed based on the circumstances officers encountered when they were called to the home at 12:21 p.m. on June 25. A doctor was attending to Jackson and stayed with him when he was placed in an ambulance at 1:07 p.m. There was no sign of foul play.

Others say police should have assumed it was possible a crime occurred and taken precautions to ensure the scene was not disrupted so evidence wasn’t lost or tainted.

“If I was the chief detective on the case, I would have said, ‘We don’t know what’s going on. We should seal the scene,’” said defense attorney Harland Braun, who has represented celebrities including Robert Blake, Roseanne and Gary Busey. “You always have to think of the worst-case scenario and you have to think fast. I would have sealed the scene just because it was Michael Jackson.”

There are obviously a lot of holes in this story and the LAPD has not yet provided a full accounting of their actions. A lot of their failures do make sense given the nature of their involvement in the beginning of the ordeal – it seemed to be an entirely medical case. Given that, it makes sense not to seal off an enormous mansion. There’s only so much man power and you have to prioritize. But without knowing the specifics, it’s all just guessing. The first officer at the scene generally makes the most critical initial decisions, and his or her choices can make or break the success of an investigation. A famous example is the first officer to show up at Jon Benet Ramsey’s house. If he’d sealed off the home, everything would have been different. But he didn’t, and as a result dozens of people walked through over the course of several hours, completely contaminating the scene. Which is why there are still so many unanswered questions today. But I do agree with Harland Braun – even though it didn’t look like a crime scene, the home should have been sealed off just because it’s Michael Jackson.

There are two choices I find especially strange: immediately impounding the doctor’s car and letting Janet Jackson remove items from the home two days later. Why was this one car deemed so important if the home wasn’t even a crime scene yet? It logically leads one to believe that by this point the LAPD realized a crime may have occurred. Thus if you’re going to impound the car, the home should have been sealed as well. And nothing should be removed from a crime scene after two days, no matter what.

Hopefully the case hasn’t been irreversibly bungled – and it probably hasn’t been. The home itself does not appear to play a major part in the investigation and the potential crime. What will probably matter most is tracing Jackson’s doctors and figuring out who wrote illegal prescriptions.

Does everyone remember the girl that John Mayer hooked up with right after he and Aniston called it quits in March? Her name’s Scheana Marie Jancon, and she’s 23 years old. Allegedly, she and Mayer hooked up a few times. Then Scheana tried to get famous off of the association with Mayer by giving an interview “telling all” about their “relationship” and Mayer predictably dumped her. Well, Scheana’s back, and she’s trying to get famous off a whole new hook-up - this time it’s her years-long affair with married Eddie Cibrian.

This story comes from In Touch Weekly, and seems completely sourced from one of Scheana’s “friends” named “Sandra”. According to Sandra, Scheana and Eddie were carrying on for a couple of years. At first, Scheana had no idea Eddie was married. Probably because this girl is an idiot, and she had never heard of Google? Anyway, she eventually found out Eddie was married, but Scheana still kept carrying on the affair. In Touch also has some pictures of Eddie and Scheana together, so part of the story is probably very real. But when Eddie was caught in public with LeAnn Rimes, it seems Eddie totally dumped Scheana, even changing his phone number. Now Scheana’s friend is whining to In Touch that Scheana can’t believe that she wasn’t Eddie’s only mistress! Wait, let me go get my tiny violin:

LeAnn Rimes recently told Dean Sheremet, her husband of seven years, that she wanted to leave him in the hope of being with her married Northern Lights costar Eddie Cibiran. But LeAnn will be surprised when she learns that Eddie was not only cheating on his wife - he was also cheating on both of them with 24-year-old model Scheana Marie Jancon up through February.

“Scheana was in love with Eddie,” Scheana’s close friend tells In Touch. “And she said Eddie told her he loved her. They were inseparable.”

Eddie and Scheana were connected emotionally and physically. “They had a really strong attraction,” Sandra reveals. “She said the sex was amazing. It was very passionate.”

Eddie, who is married to model Brandi Glanville and has two sons with her, met Scheana three years ago when she was a bartender at the Grand Havana Room in Beverly Hills. Eddie, who she claims didn’t tell her he was married, took her out on dates every Tuesday.

“That was their date night,” Sandra says, but adds that he chose low-key LA bars… probably so he wouldn’t be spied straying. “He wasn’t shy at all about PDAs,” Sandra tells In Touch. “He just didn’t have any shame.”

When Sheana finally did figure out that Eddie was married, she could not bring herself to end it. “She didn’t mean to be a home wrecker. She was just too far into it,” Sandra adds. “Her feelings were involved and it was hard for her to stop.”

Eddie treated Scheana like his girlfriend and spoiled her with vacations and jewelry. In the summers, he took her on five-day boating trips at local lakes, and in the winter he taught her how to snowboard.

One Christmas, Eddie even bought Scheana diamond hoop earrings. “She wears them all the time,” Sandra adds. “They’re beautiful. He treated her like a princess.”

Eddie and Scheana carried on their romance until February. “They took another trip to Mammoth,” Sandra explains. “It was the last time he told her he loved her.”

A month later, the two were supposed to meet up for St. Patrick’s Day, but on March 7, Eddie was captured on a security camera making out with LeAnn in Laguna Beach. He changed his phone humber and coldheartedly hasn’t contacted Scheana since.

“Scheana feels betrayed,” Sandra reveals. “She feels like Eddie cheated on her, as well as his wife. She was in shock.”

Scheana - who has also hooked up with John Mayer - had no idea that Eddie had been hooking up with LeAnn since they met on set last year.

LeAnn, who, In Touch recently reported, separated from Dean in the hope of being with Eddie, will likely not be amused when she finds out about his steamy affair with Scheana.

“If you’re going to have a mistress,” Sandra insists, “only have one! Maybe he just didn’t think it would ever come back to him. Or maybe he really didn’t care if it did.”

I don’t feel any pity for this girl, or for LeAnn, or for Eddie. I feel a little twinge of something for Eddie’s wife Brandi, but really, how could she not know? Personally, I didn’t really believe the story that LeAnn wanted to leave her husband Dean for Eddie - I think LeAnn and Dean have an open marriage, but that’s just my take.

Eddie’s career is going better than ever in the wake of these scandals - the Lifetime movie he and LeAnn did had some of the best ratings ever for a cable film, and Eddie recently signed on for a new role on CSI: Miami. He also just signed on for a Hallmark Channel movie, Healing Hands. Cheaters always win, I suspect.
