Yep, you probably noticed the lack of post and updates for quite a while now and we apologize for slacking. But we have been working behind the scenes, honest!

Although not directly related to post here, we have been forming new relationships with partner sites as well as building a new site ourselves, which we are super excited about (more on that in a minute).

We are getting back to gear up our posting again but we are just overwhelmed with work. Because of that, we are looking for more people who love celebrity gossip and news and that are interested in contributing here, and other places. Meaning if you think you have what it takes to write about great gossip and want to have it published here then we may be looking for you. This site is more of a passion than for profit but we are willing to share any revenue we make with those that contribute. Just don’t expect to get rich or famous . If you are interested and think you can make a difference send us a note explaining why you would be a great part of the team. As long as you love gossip/news and have at least basic writing skills, and can find the great news everyone wants to read and talk about, you should be able to help. One of our projects is a collaboration with a great new blog (yet to be named while it’s being worked on). This “sister” blog to Celebpox will also include celeb news and gossip and such but also get more into other things you will love such as fashion news and articles, music reviews and news and all things entertainment. This is still probably a couple weeks off but we are working hard to get things setup and looking great. Which is just another reason we need more great writers who want to take part…see, you don’t just have to love celebs but if you can write about fashion, music, movies and all that fun stuff we can find a place for you . More news on this new blog to come soon.

Ok, so what is the big news? Well we have been working hard building a cool new site. This one isn’t just for us to post about the latest celeb gossip but for all celebrity lovers to post to. If you know about and use digg then you will already know pretty much exactly what it is. It is a news aggregator site specifically geared to celebrity gossip, news and industry happenings. Sound fun? We think so but be sure to let us know what you think. So now you can find great updates on celeb news and gossip here at Celebpox but also get all the highlights of the latest breaking news from all the various news sources. You can even take part and submit stories yourself really easily. Then you just browse through the stories and vote for the ones that you find worthy. Those higher voted stories get bumped up the pages so the most interesting news is always highlighted. Celeb Gossip and news submitted and chosen by the fans themselves!

So, what’s the site? Well we already hinted at it if you saw the contact email above. Yep, the new site is www.CeleBits.com ! Go there now and take a good look and then come back here and tell us if we did ok or if we bombed. It’s still in an early testing phase so you are some of the very first people to see or use it but it’s really close to the point where we want to let the whole world know about it.

Nicole and Joel reveal the first photos of Harlow!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden revealed the first photos of their daughter Harlow Winter.

Nicole poses with the month-old baby on the cover of this week�s People magazine, and says becoming a mother has given her life a �whole new meaning�.

Nicole said that �Harlow came out and I knew she looked like me, and I was holding her, and it was something so much bigger than me. Now she looks a little more like Joel, but when she was born, it looked like Joel had nothing to do with it. But it�s almost like I don�t even remember what life was like before her. She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose.�

People magazine is said to have paid $1 million for the pictures, which will feature on the cover of their next issue, which hits US newsstands on Friday.

Dannielynn Goes Under the Knife!

Yep!� You guessed it!� Dannielynn Hope is cross-eyed!

Dannielynn is about to go under the knife�to get her eyes fixed and Larry Birkhead has already promised to not allow cameras in.

Larry Birkhead said,

�“I don’t mind letting the world know how she is when she’s done, but no cameras will be there during the surgery. The only reason I spoke about it to begin with was because people blamed Anna’s medications when, in fact, it’s genetic.”

J. Lo Finally Has The Babies!

After a long wait, and many people speculating to when she was checking into the hospital, Jennifer Lopez finally gave birth to her twins early Friday morning!

It’s a boy! And a girl!!!!

The girl was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz., and the boy followed at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6 lbs.

La Lopez gave birth in Long Island, N.Y., where she and hubby Marc Anthony live.

“Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon,” says Lopez’s manager.

Congrats to the happy couple!!!!!

Christina Punked Out of Natural Birth!

Christina Aguilera is a punk! �She said that she decided not to give birth to baby Max the natural way, because she was too scared and didn’t want to go through the pain. She gave birth via c-section and booked in advance. That’s how they do it in Hollywood.

She told Hello Magazine,

“I didn’t want any surprises. Honestly, I didn’t want any [vaginal] tearing. I had heard horror stories of women going in and having to have an emergency C-section [anyway]. The hardest part was deciding on his birthday. I wanted to leave it up to fate, but at the same time I was ready to be done early!”

“Jordan wasn’t squeamish at all. He had the video�camera�ready to go. The most reassuring thing for me was hearing that first beautiful cry. I just welled up with tears.“

She actually cried? Didn’t she care about messing up her make up? She probably got wet mascara all over her poor baby. I don’t understand the c-section stuff. Isn’t a little tear in your va-jay-jay better than a big scar on your belly? It’s called meds Christina. All she needed was major meds and the vag tear would have been nothing.

Paris Hilton is a Bad Mom!

When will people learn? Paris Hilton can barely care for herself, let alone another life. This time, it was an adopted kitten who felt the wrath of the ~~actress~~ ~~singer~~ ~~humanitarian~~ walking STD.

Paris reportedly adopted a cat from the Kris Kelly Foundation in May a week before she was locked up (and released, and locked up and released again). In the midst of the media circus, Hilton forgot to get the cat neutered. Fast-forward to two weeks ago, when Paris finally took the cat in to get fixed.

That would be fine, except for the fact that Paris never picked the cat up. And the Kris Kelly Foundation, after unanswered calls to Hilton, has decided to keep the cat away from her. That�s the one smart thing they�ve done thus far.

Paris� reps are saying that this is a publicity stunt, and the cat was supposed to be delivered back to Hilton. Um, the cat doesn�t just call a driver and reappear, Paris. You are responsible for knowing where the animal is, not just dressing it up in awful clothes and parading it down the red carpet.

Kate Hudson Balances Family and Work

Promoting a big budget movie is tough work. Just ask Kate Hudson, who has been all over New York City to help boost the box office return of her new film, Fool�s Gold.

To start things off, Hudson did the morning show routine – paying visits to both the Today Show and Live with Regis & Kelly.

�And while work�s important, it�s always nice to see big name stars fitting their children into the hectic schedule that comes along with being a celebrity.

Kate did just that, taking son Ryder out for a walk in the West Village on what turned into a dreary, rainy day. While they were walking, Kate keenly pointed out a puddle to her little man – with Ryder taking notice and stepping over it. Too cute!

Parenting Team: Nicole Richie and Joel Madden

They�re one of the hottest new parenting teams in Tinseltown, and Joel Madden and his girlfriend Nicole Richie are taking the right steps to a lasting relationship.

Not letting their parenting duties rob them of their alone time, the �Simple Life� hottie and her �Good Charlotte� rocker beau took some quality time to themselves on a stroll out on the streets of Hollywood yesterday.

Letting her long blonde locks down, Nicole looked cute and casual in a striped shirt with a leather jacket and some comfy jeans, while Joel rocked a fedora, track jacket and dark trousers.

Speaking of Joel, it sounds like he may have a chance at an acting gig coming up soon.� Rumor has it Juno writer Diablo Cody thinks he may be right for a part in a new flick.

Pete Wentz is said to be the number one choice, but you never know what may happen if they both audition.

Hudson and McConaughey Charm TRL

With this Friday�s release of �Fool�s Gold� stars Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson are furiously charging down the promotional trail.

Starting off her day in NYC, Kate was spotted outside her Manhattan residence sporting a big wool coat with a furry collar and cuffs.

Later on, she joined her �How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days� co-star Matthew at the MTV Studios on Broadway in Midtown.

These two proved, once again, why they�re such a bankable commodity as they fell into their familiar chemistry during the taping of TRL.�

And their mutual admiration goes beyond the movie set.� In a recent interview, Hudson gave her endorsement to Matthew�s upcoming venture into fatherhood.�

�I think he will be an incredible dad. Matthew just happens to be one of the most loving and loyal people I know. And his family is important to him. And I think it�s one thing that we connect on. He�s great with kids and I think he�ll be a very responsible and absolutely blast of a dad.�

Rihanna Enters the Umbrella Market

While she�s been an admirer of the various Mercedes Benz Fashion Week shows over the past few days, on Tuesday, Rihanna changed gears to take care of some promotional duties.

In a move that marketers just couldn�t avoid, the Umbrella singer found herself doing press for her new umbrella line from Totes at Macy�s Herald Square in New York City.

Wearing a sexy black outfit along with a matching scarf and a pair of orange heels, the Barbados native posed for pictures and signed autographs for fans lucky enough to sneak their way up front.

From here, Rihanna is scheduled to perform at a pre-Grammy fashion show on Thursday, followed up by her much-anticipated appearance at the 2008 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 10).
