Are you a crafter, looking for the prefect nerdy or geeky fabric? Macabre fabric? Something that most JoAnn's type places don't carry? Might I suggest looking around in Fireside Textile's shop. They have some great fabric for things like dice bags (I promise, Honey, I will make you one some day) and prom dresses. At least, I would have loved a prom dress made with animal bone fabric... wouldn't you? They also sell embroidery kits and things, so check those out as well, if that's your thing.

Some day, if I am very lucky and my wrist gets fixed and I can crochet again, I hope to create a hat from my next featured seller: The Twisted Hatter! These hats look amazing, and I can think of at least 4 people in my immediate family (including myself) who would love one (or all) of these. They come in a wide range of sizes, including kids! I remember the first time I saw one of these kinds of wet specimens in a science lab. It was a huge frog with beautifully colorful bones you could see through it's diaphanous flesh. Now you can own your very own and amaze your guests! Just hunt around Diaphonized's shop and find the perfect (science) show stopper! They also offer special lights to put under your sample. If you don't like idea of an actual specimen, then maybe some cute stickers?

I remember wanting when I was a tiny oddling was to be a paleontologist and there are even a few pieces to geek out with dinosaurs. You have no idea how difficult it was to whittle this shop down to my top 5 choices. I am still not that sure that I am happy... but it is going to have to do. If you like the macabre there is a chance you have seen Zombie Peepshow shoes around the interwebs. I am pretty sure I saw their work for the first time on one of the Halloween groups I am in on facebook. You can find Zombie Peepshow on facebook too, so give them a like or follow if you like what you see here! Each shoe is a work of art! I tried to show the variety of shoes, not just the highest of heels, but flats and fetish ballerina boots too! Not pictured are the punk stomping boots etc that you can find in the shop. Delve in!

After a bit of a hiatus, I wanted to post something pretty spectacular. I give you Tomsky Store. You can connect with this wood wizard on facebook, twitter and their website too. The use of the different colors of wood and cut out style really give these pieces a wonderfully graphic feeling, like they jumped out of an illustration. I also love that there is a wide range of subject matter and size to choose from. And also, they are all absolutely beautiful to behold. I focused on the more goth and anatomical pieces (because... well, duh, I am drawn to those), but there are plenty of others to tickle anyone's fancy!

When ever a video of MP Gautheron come across my facebook feed, I feel compelled to stop and watch it. To watch her paint it to watch a master create something magical! Of course, the first thing that caught my eye was her skulls, because... well, DUH! Her flow and color on each piece is beautiful. If nothing else, go watch her paint! You will be amazed! I hope some day to have a skull of hers on my wall.

One of my favorite pieces of clothing is actually a threadbare jean jacket I got when I was a young teenager. Over the years I have sewn many a patch on it... everything from Brownie patches to bowling victories to wrestling crushes. (I was not in the Brownies long... not my scene). Such a nice way to stroll down memory lane every time I wear it. Since I have a soft spot for patches, you can imagine how happy was to see Atomic Bubonic's patches on etsy! You can find more stuff over on Instagram too. Instagram is the one social media thing I have yet to get into. The interwebs suck enough of my life away as it is. We are going to an old stand by for me... anatomic stuff. I have a soft spot for pottery. Pottery and ceramics is an art form I have a great appreciation for, but something I am not any good at myself. My grandmother used to let me do those re-made ones when I was little and I have many fond memories of slathering her beautiful glazes all over the place and making a complete mess of what ever she was trying to get me to create. And throwing pottery... no way. I took one sculpture class in high school and HATED it. But I digress. Crooked Curiosities creates wonderful pieces with an odd bent to beautify your shelves and dining rooms. I don't have any cups with anatomical hearts on them. I might just have to change that!

I don't think you would have an easy time finding jewelry like this in a mall jewelry store... and I think that is why I am drawn to it. I love that Little Sycamore's pieces arent "perfect" but more natural and organic. Not something you see everyday. Those little garnent rings... OMG, just to precious, if you ask me! But then again, I got a garnet in my wedding ring instead of a diamond, so I am partial to them.

I have to admit, I have a problem. I love skulls. Like anything skull related. Seriously. Just look at my Pinterest... I have a whole board just dedicated to "Anatomy".... which is really just an excuse to post 90% skull stuff. Most of my home decor I buy at Halloween because of my obsession. I am okay with that, because with so many wonderful skull related things in the world, I can get a skull fix about any time I want! That is what lead me to Arlo Edge Walker's etsy shop and these ADORABLE carved skulls. Couldn't you just squee?! The cherry skulls are a nice touch. So delicate. So dainty!

You can't throw a stone in this shop without finding something geeky to make your skin feel and smell wonderful! You even get a little prize inside. The only down side I can see, you can only use the bombs etc once... but at least they are a reasonable price so that you can try a bunch out!
