I hope this wins, not only because John Boswell is doing a brilliant job of introducing Carl's work to a whole new generation, but just think of how this could widen the audience even further.

If you'd like to help, you can view the video and cast your vote here:
http://www.youtube.com/webby

Click on the image near the bottom that says Video Remixes and Mashups. At the next page, scroll down till you see A Glorious Dawn. (You can view the video there.) Then hit the register button (that way they know the same people don’t vote twice) They’ll email you an authorization code and a link back. Then you can cast your vote.

Let's rally and vote!

Re: The Symphony Continues

Hey guys, I love the twitter stream and everything, but that HootSuite bullshit is obnoxious. Have you tried clickking the links? Do you find it helpful to have that frame at the top? It makes it hard to use the sites I end up on and just plain looks terrible.

If you could switch to normal bitly links or anything other than hootsuite I think it would make me want to click your links more and be better usability overall.

Thanks!

p.s. You should make that url on your old blogspot into a link that leads to this site, it will make google rank you higher faster.

Re: The Symphony Continues

Great ! I am too one of those people whose life was forever changed by his passion for science. I will miss him always, but as the comment he included in his book Cosmos about two amateur astronomers who wrote " we loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night..." he died after having lived one the most amazing life, having touched the lives of millions of people, giving them the joys and passion of loving science. For all of us he touched, he died way too soon. Every time I see the night sky, I imagine him seeing now the furthest corners of the universe with the same awe he had here on earth...

Re: Welcome to the New Celebrating Sagan

This is mostly a test.
