A newly quiet sense of excess with a charming flair for paradox. The freeing sensation of the unforeseen slipping into, upsetting an impeccable protocol. Alessandro Dell’Acqua plays with contradictions, explores the power of unheard-of connections. He rediscovers the (maybe forgotten) thrill of having pure fashion fun, using clothes to create iconographic ideas and images in counterpoint.

With a light radical spirit, he introduces seduction into staid everyday life, interpreting the quotidian yet precious side of an imaginary regality. He pairs the tweed shirt with a jewel-embroidered melton skirt; cinches the waist of a multicolor-paillette-encrusted dress with a rough masculine belt; sets cabochons on gardening gloves.

Quite surprisingly, shapes and fabrics take on roles contrary to the usual: jacketings define shirts to match with long lavish skirts; a faux work overalls-outfit is made from gorgeous duchesse; the close-knit sweater offsets the semi sheer triple organza skirt; tweed and satin make for ambivalent additions on the sporty blouson.

While a sense of reserve may predominate, here and there bursts of sensuality suddenly rearrange the situation: it’s the inviting glimpse of a zip, possibly a mere peek at the slip under the velvet macramé dress, or the allure of a blouse with a long-lost vintage loveliness.

Accessories include velvet&mirror high heel shoes, clutch-style iPad cases complete with surreal trompe l’oeil hands, haircombs as if bits and pieces of a crown.

Materials rich in texture: mannish tweeds, silk duchesse, velvet macramé, triple organza. A smooth palette of eloquent shades: black, wine red, black green, melange brown, sage green, plus nude and camel beige tones.

A total rejection of pre-concepts on the mix&match front. A liberating experience in the form of collage.

This collection Roberto Cavalli has created a woman from the soul noir, gothic and verydark.The silhouette were so dramatic that choose between the very short or extra long.bridging to the runway micro sequin dress, tailored jackets , sagged leg pants and printed maxi dresses with ruffles.The prints come from hand-painted canvas, exhibited backstage at the fashion show, representing animal skins.

The ‘trompe l'œil’ effect is enhanced by the illusory mix of pythons leather printed with tiger or jaguar motifs, furs printed with python motif, pony skins transformed into crocodile.

Mini skirts or 'balloon' dresses show the legs and are created with three-dimensional placed embroideries, in brocade or filleted fur, printed or inlaid. The Maxi skirts made of python leather painted with tiger motif, lasered mink with crocodile effect or cashmere cloth are combined with jacquard mohair sweaters or with entirely embroidered t-shirts.

Sculpture dresses in printed silk mousseline do not follow the line of the body but they redesign it and open in large ruffles and flounces in silk organza embellished with tiny pleated ruffles and black lace. Haute artisanship prevails throughout the collection. Leather punched sequin mixed with micro feathers. Embroidery in relief with three-dimensional effects that recreate animal mantles or reptile scales.

The jackets and coats, made of black python leather or printed with ocelot or tiger mantle effect, have structured shoulders and a narrow waistline.

The Large necklaces and bracelets made of metal covered with python or colored enamel depicting flamingos, snakes, crocodiles, embellished with colored stones. Jockey hats covered with feathers, fur and crocodile.

The Florence bag is embellished with new details such as closures or strings of leather with buckles, inspired by the high quality of ‘hand made’ trunks. Pointy pump shoes and lace up boots in python, crocodile, ostrich and lizard.

Big sunglasses named Wild Diva with mirrored lenses have sharp, emphatic outlines, underlined by crocodile, ostrich or galuchat inlaid workings to create an iconic and glamorous style with a daring shape and bold colors.

The scenery is characterized by a carpet of 39,000 roses that recreate the design of the tiger mantle: Schwarz black roses, bright copper color Cherry Brandy roses, brown Coffee Break roses, yellow Ilios roses on a bed of white roses and carnation.

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s collection was inspired by the golden embroideries that recall Baroque mirrors and frames or embroideries made of small points inspired by dining room tapestries; prints of cherubs and angels that appear to have come out of a painting.

The collection was full of motif rich with material from the island they adore, Sicily. The designers established the tone with an elaborate installation ,their runway Festooned with roses and vine chandelier, mirrors framed in carved and upholstered invelvet chairs on the stage, rolling melody from the opera "Rigoletto" by Giuseppe Verdi , known to us as "donna of treason." So do not look no gala evening at the "La Scala", ashow of autumn-winter collection of Dolce & Gabbana in Milan .

Dolce&Gabbana celebrate Italian cinema, a continuous source of inspiration for Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, who imagine the Menswear Summer 2012 campaign as a film interpreted by real actors: Giuseppe Fiorello, Francesco Scianna, Filippo Nigro, Thomas Trabacchi, Primo Reggiani and Chiara Francini.

The photos shot by Mariano Vivanco are intentionally candid and reminiscent of scenes from
an Italian-style comedy, where actors portray life in a Southern Italian village: a baptism, Sunday with the family, a portrait with mother, at the bar with friends, afternoons at the beach, courting the village beauty, guy talk, a stolen kiss on the docks and a birthday party with relatives.

At some point, glasses-free 3D displays will become both affordable and commonplace (assuming the 3D fad sticks around long enough). Since we're stuck wearing eye gear in the meantime, why haven't we seen more trendy specs?

Ingri:Dahl must have wondered the same thing. The Norwegian twins Kine and Einy Paulsen has put together a collection of 3D glasses "inspired by the Classic old Hollywood and their Scandinavian heritage"

When Kine and Einy put on the 3D glasses they were given at the movie theater, they knew they had to change the game. Not sure if it was the lack of design or the thought of how many people wore the glasses before them, but their first model "Popcorn" quickly became a reality.

There are six different styles to choose from, each one with thick frames and .08mm lenses, which the company claims results in a more crisp picture.

Harvey Musin is a French fashion designer who has worked for various multinational and that currently directs its own brand.

He was born in Paris. In adolescence he already felt fascination for fashion, but it is on the Faculty of law and the school of Oriental languages with the aim of becoming a diplomat. The events of May 1968 give you the impetus to change course. He traveled to Amsterdam and began the studies that actually responded to his vocation in the fashion of the Gerrit Rietveld Akademie section.

In the mid-1970s, she travelled to Ibiza for first time. Driven by the heterodox and creative spirit of the place designed his first collection and participates in the creation of a new style: the Adlib fashion.

A few years later he returned to Amsterdam, opened two boutiques and works as a professor at the school in which years earlier had formed. Collaborates with various multinational (Hoechst, Bayer, Dupont de Nemours); performs their own collections to appear regularly in the pages of the main fashion magazines of the era (Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Viva, Avenue, Elegance), and collaborates in several international projects with the theatre workshop Amsterdam group.

In 1982 he received the prize Fil d'Or in Monte Carlo in the company of Claude Montana, Anne-Marie Berreta, Valentino, Krizia and Kenzo. He returned to Paris and began to work as a freelancer for Georges Rech, Cerruti and Vissot. Subsequently, comes into contact with society Courrèges and which undertakes extensive work as a designer of collections and Studio director.

In 1994 Musin decides to end his collaboration with the French brand. Returns to Ibiza where it picks up and updated the concept that had contributed to create a few years earlier. Open a boutique, designed exclusively for various clients and becomes a reference point of the island that New York Times or National Geographic not overlook.

In 2010 the designer opens a showroom in Barcelona. Their collections are currently sold in Spain, France, Italy, Greece, United Kingdom, Portugal, Kuwait, Japan, Lebanon, Egypt, Brazil, Canada, Guadeloupe and the island of reunion among others.
