DJ AM Found Dead

Celebrity DJ, Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM was found dead early this morning in his New York city apartment.

The New York Post is reporting that drug paraphernalia was found in the apartment which may indicate a possible durg overdose. Tragic!

The former fiance of Nicole Richie survived a plane crash last year along with friend Travis Barker.

No other information has been released as to the cause of death. Our condolences go out to his loved ones.

Ashley Olsen discusses her personal style in the September issue of Marie Claire magazine.

The mini mogul and style icon says "I think you're either born with a sense of style or you're not. Either you care or you don't."

She goes on to say, "When we were going to NYU, I think that was the first time we were aware of the power of our personal style. Not the power of it, but the result…. Between the big sunglasses and Starbucks cup and big sweaters, the hobo-chic thing, we were more shocked than anything…. Mary-Kate and I are very aware of trends and style, but at the end of the day, we don't even think twice about it. It's just 'What do I feel like wearing today, and how do I want to put it together?"

Yeah, but most people aren’t rockin clothes they picked up at Paris fashion week; they’re getting their clothes at Wal-Mart, Target or the mall.

She continues, "The amount of beautiful things we've ruined - not having the patience for a tailor and cutting everything ourselves…My sister once took an Alaia dress of mine and just cut the whole thing, and then was like, 'I cut it too short.' Mary-Kate and I don't think about fashion as these clean, beautiful objects. We just kind of wear it and live in it."

Well, I guess when you’ve got money to burn, cutting away at a sweater that probably cost more than most peoples rent payments is really like cutting up something you pulled out of the trash.

It's A Boy For Jennifer Hudson

According to the Hollywood Reporter, American Idol alum and Oscar winner, Jennifer Hudson, gave birth to a 7 lb and 14 oz baby boy on Monday.

This is the first child for Jennifer and her fiancé David Otunga. The happy couple have decided to name him, David Daniel Otunga, Jr.

Jessica Simpson lands on the cover of the September issue of Glamour magazine. In a pre-breakup interview, Jessica discusses her relationship with Dallas Cowboy, Tony Romo, her divorce from Nick Lachey and the legacy she'd like to leave behind.

On relationships: “I don’t regret anything I’ve gone through…. I don’t know what the future holds, but I hope that my life, as it is now, doesn’t change. I’m very happy and comfortable—it’s a great place to be in. If this article comes out and we’re not together, I’d still love [Tony], and he’d still be a huge part of who I am today.”

Is this evidence that she knew their relationship was in crisis.

On body image: “It’s not fair that women look in the mirror and feel disgust because of what society has made them believe about beauty. I’ve been through it myself and understand the pressures. We’re all facing the same struggles together, whether you’re a celebrity or not.”

On her divorce: “It was hard to imagine I would ever walk down the aisle again. Transformers hottie Isabel Lucas was recently snapped as she lunched with friends at a small cafe in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old was café cute as she matched her belt, earrings and nail polish in the same green hue.

Isabel is featured in the documentary, The Cove, along with Heroes star, Hayden Panettiere. The documentary highlights their October 2007 visit to the dolphin-killing cove of Taiji, Japan and is currently in limited theaters.

Vanity Fair Remembers Michael Jackson

Both Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett will be featured on the cover of the September issue of Vanity Fair. Fawcett will grace half of the covers and Jackson will feature on the remaining half.

The issue will be hitting newsstands on August 11th, but excerpts from both features have been released to the press. The articles touch on key themes from the two late superstars' lives, pieced together through quotations from friends and old sound bites from the celebs themselves.

These are excerpts from Jackson’s Vanity Fair issue.

Kim Kardashian sported her new blonde locks at the Teen Choice Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday.

A few months ago, Kim posted a photo of herself on her Twitter wearing a blond wig however the reality star assures that this is the real deal. Kim says, “This time it’s for real, guys! I went blonde!!! My hairstylist Clyde Haygood orchestrated the whole thing and Rebecca from Goodform salon dyed it! I am really loving it!”

Everybody seems to be going blonde! I like the shade, just not on Kim. I think she looked sexier as a brunette.

Reese Witherspoon spent a family night out with boyfriend, actor Jake Gyllenhaal and her kids, Ava, 9, and Deacon, 5, to the Elton John and Billy Joel concert at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Penn.

Deacon had the bird’s eye view, seated atop Gyllenhaal’s shoulders. During the 3-1/2 hour show, the happy family danced to Crocodile Rock Elton dedicated the song Tiny Dancer to Reese, saying, “Reese, this one’s for you, girl.”

It’s good to see that Jake has really bonded with Reese’s kids.

Jessica Biel Makes Stage Debut

Actress Jessica Biel recently made her stage debut in a three-night run of the musical Guys and Dolls at the Hollywood Bowl.

The 27-year-old actress tackled the role Sarah Brown, a Manhattan missionary at odds with a gang of gamblers, one of which she falls in love with.

Jessica said of her stage experience, “The people (costars) are so skilled, and they just know how to be on a stage…So I feel like I’m learning and taken through, taking me along, they’re there for me. So it’s been a very nurturing experience.”

Hope her costars gave her some acting advice…she needs it.

Who's The Father Of Paris Jackson

Former child star and friend of Michael Jackson, Mark Lester, has stepped forward claiming that he is the father of the deceased star’s daughter, Paris Katherine Jackson.

In a recent interview, Lester claims that he secretly donated his sperm to help Michael have children even hiding the donation from his wife up until two weeks ago.

Mark Lester is willing to take a DNA test to prove his paternity, saying, "It's been a secret for so long."

Lester claims, "In 1996 Michael asked if I would give him my sperm. I said yes. It was a gift to him, no money was paid. I was honored to. He wanted children so badly."

Lester, an osteopathic doctor and acupuncture specialist, says he is only speaking out now because after Jackson's death he fears he will be cut off from Paris’ life.

Lester, who is also the godfather of all three of Michael's kids said, "With Michael's mother Katherine now their legal guardian it's like the kids are being isolated…Up until Michael's memorial I was in touch with them on a weekly basis… I'm the Godparent to them and Michael was Godparent to my four kids. Our families spent a lot of time together, had a lot fun together. Now I'm not able to have any communication with the children. This isn't what Michael would have wanted."

He goes on to say, "I want to have contact with her, Prince and Blanket regardless of whether any or all of them are mine."

Lester believes that he has a strong bond with Paris and that she strongly resembles his 15 year old daughter Harriet.

Mark said, "Paris is very pale, with blue eyes. All my daughters, apart from my eldest, are fair with blue eyes. So many people have commented on how alike Harriet and Paris look. Our families often holidayed together and staff, especially nannies, watching the children play together would say how similar the two girls looked."

Actually, Paris’ complexion is more olive than pale and her eyes are more gray than blue.

Lester continues, "I feel it's important. I love those kids so much. We've had great times together. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing speaking out. But I'm not trying to make any claim on anything. Even if it's proven Paris is biologically mine I wouldn't see her as anything other than Michael's daughter. He raised her."

If you really feel that way, why say anything at all. Just another leach trying to see what they can get.

Katherine Jackson Gives First Interview

The Jackson family matriarch, Katherine Jackson, recently gave her first interview since the death of her son, Michael Jackson.

Speaking on Geraldo at Large, Katherine denounced rumors that her estranged husband, Joe Jackson was a bad father and is an absentee grandparent.

Katherine said, "I don't know why they're saying he's not being allowed in the house. My husband's never done nothing of the sort that they trying to say he did 39 years ago. I don't understand that, and I just believe it's something that they cooked up."
When asked if Joe is a good grandfather, Katherine said, "Of course he is. And the children will tell you that he is."

When it comes to what role Dr. Conrad Murray played in Michael's death, Katherine is not presumptuous in her opinion. She states, "All I know is that my son is dead, and I don't think he just died of natural causes or whatever. He's too young for that. Something happened, I don't know what it was and I can't say."

Katherine was recently awarded custody of the deceased star’s the children, which is a good thing. Even with her reassuring words about Joe, I still have my reservations about him being around the kids.

Jude Law’s baby mama, Samantha Burke, has recently come under attack from the British tabloids.

A source spoke to The Mirror saying, “Jude assumed she was on the Pill… He was stunned at being informed of the pregnancy. Jude feels like now he has been made to look the bad guy. One of the reasons their brief relationship didn’t work out is because Samantha was a little too keen. She claimed she was falling in love after just a couple of weeks.”

The 24-year old aspiring actress/model from Pensacola, FL is currently pregnant with the actor’s daughter. She apparently contacted the actor through his publicist to inform him about the pregnancy after he changed his phone number.

Well if she was confessing her love for him after such or short period of time, it’s no wonder he ditched her and changed his number.

The 23-year-old star recently opened up about her breakup with L.A. model/entrepreneur Speedy.

She told The Sun, “Do you know the feeling of your heart being so terribly broken you can feel the blood dripping out? … When you have felt this, only then you know how I’m doing.”

The Grey’s Anatomy star dishes to the mag about her controversial remarks about her first starring role in the film Knocked Up.

When asked by the mag if she would take anything back in her career, Heigl replied, "If I was to say I wish I'd never made that comment about Knocked Up [being sexist], it's not that I don't feel the way I do about it, it's just that it maybe didn't need to be communicated via a magazine interview."

Well at least she’s learning that in Hollywood, honesty is not always the best policy.

Jude Law Ex Girlfriend Knocked Up

Jude Law has stepped up to the plate to tackle fatherhood again, only this time with former lover Samantha Burke.

Law met Burke, who is a 24-year old aspiring actress from Pensacola, FL, in New York last year where he was on location filming Sherlock Holmes.

A source told Radar, “Samantha was trying to reach Jude to tell him she was having his child but she couldn’t get a hold of him…He had given her a cell phone number but it was no longer working and Jude was working on a film. Finally, Samantha contacted Jude-through his publicist! She had to go through his PR person to inform him she was pregnant with his child, a baby girl she’s already named Sophia! I don’t think he believed her, at first. But she passed a DNA test so he had no choice but to recognize the fact that he was the dad.”

Doesn’t seem like they had much of a relationship if she had to contact him through his publicist!

A representative for the actor said, "Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year. Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made.”

This will be Jude's fourth child. He already has three kids with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost — Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 6.

A representative for Samantha told People, “Jude and Samantha remain committed to the health and well-being of this child, and appreciate your honoring her privacy during this special time. This remains a private matter between Jude Law and Samantha Burke.”

Don’t bet on getting privacy anytime soon. Photos of celebrity babies are a hot commodity-you won’t get any peace from the paparazzi until little Sophia is at lead 5-years old.
