It seems former WWE star Jeff Hardy has some bad karma when he's back in his home state of North Carolina.

Back in 2008, Hardy lost his home to fire. Now, having retired less than two weeks ago from his wrestling career in order to pursue being the headlining star of his own reality television show, the athlete and character actor has been arrested for some fairly serious drug charges.

Although his name is now surging in the national -- rather than simply the wrestling fan blog news, it's a safe bet to say this was not the wisest way to launch his new TV show product (even if it is related to celebrity gossip television).

OOPS.

Perhaps the re-current theme of drug problems and celebrity scandal related to the Hardy brothers are the real reason WWE is seeking to pull the plug on this North Carolina resident's career.

Athlete Caster Semenya has pulled out of her return to competitive sport amid growing fears over the psychological impact of rumors about her sex.

The 18-year-old withdrew from a cross-country race in South Africa tomorrow after it was widely reported that a leaked sex test reveals she is a hermaphrodite. Her coach, Michael Seme, said she will not run because she is "not feeling well".

South Africa condemned the international media reports as an invasion of the teenager's privacy and threatened a "third world war" if the women's 800m champion is disqualified from athletics.

Sad news today for artists and fans of the art world. It seems a sizable collection of Andy Warhol paintings have been stolen from an upscale neighborhood estate in Los Angeles, leaving the home owner distraught about the break-in and loss of personal property.

The paintings, based on screen prints portraits done of famous professional sports heroes and international celebrities like Boxer Muhammad Ali, Tennis star Chris Evert, and Golfer Jack Nicklaus, are both rare and valuable.

How much was the collectible art and celebrity memorabilia worth? Apparently enough to inspire the crime of breaking and entering, followed by grand theft (both crimes carrying long jail terms for anyone named and proved guilty as the culprit) -- and for owners of the famous personal property to offer up a hefty million $ reward for safe return of the keepsakes [known to be investment-grade artifacts].

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan took their romance from the dance floor to the altar this weekend. The Step Up costars tied the knot Saturday in Malibu, Calif. The short ceremony was held at the Church Estates Vineyards — the same place Fergie and Josh Duhamel said their vows in January — and was attended by more than 200 guests including Nick Zano and Marlon Wayans. The altar was decorated in white, pink and cream roses. Jenna, 28, chose Entourage actress Emmanuelle Chriqui as her maid of honor, with Haylie Duff and Tatum's sister Paige rounding out the bridal party as bridesmaids. All three wore light pink dresses. Both the bride and groom stuck to traditional attire for their trip down the aisle. Jenna wore a classic strapless white Reem Acra dress with a long veil, while her G.I.
