While I still would have to wait a few more days to catch this recent installment of the Harry Potter series, at least I would not have to wait any longer to catch the various looks that one of its main stars, Emma Watson donned while promoting the film.

Curious if she went sexy, daring, or glamorous? Well, let’s see…

Mixing charm with class, the actress who plays Hermione Granger in the films walked the red carpet last Thursday clad in a Proenza Schouler Resort 2010 collection leather-topped halter dress and strappy sandals. Although I’m not really raving over the halter top, I’d say the overall effect of the frock was just age-appropriate complimenting the actress’ personality.

As most young stars today try so hard to put on a mature look, Emma seemed happy and content just being young. Guesting at the David Letterman Show to of course talk about the film, the 19-year-old radiated sheer youthfulness in her wearing a delicate nude organza Christopher Kane Fall 2009 tiered dress with a striking black trim. – Simple yet beautiful.

On her way to the show, Emma was both girlie and manly in a two tone black and pink oxford tie up shoes. Sweet!

While Taylor Swift looked hot in jeans for Glamour’s August issue, 16-year old Miley Cyrus went on for a mature photo shoot for Elle.

Donning on a revealing black leather jacket, the Disney teen sensation, in the issue, just showed that she ain’t a kid anymore. Here are some of what she shared in the issue.

On her new fashion line with Max Azria: “The jeans are my favorite part of the entire line. Because, like, literally this is going to be good for, like, Middle America, and it will be great for kids that really want to be in fashion but that don’t have it available.”

On the value of style: “I would pay $500 for the jeans that we make for $20. I’m really into high fashion.”

On natural beauty: “I like these crooked. I love my teeth. My dad won’t let me fix my teeth or cut my hair. He loves it. He’s like, ‘It’s you!”

On prom: “The most fun thing about prom is having that one special night when you dress up and you feel like a princess, and honestly, I get to do that one night a lot.”

On being a teen star: “It’s hard for all of us. There are so many people that could be using you. So me and Nick and Demi, we don’t need anything from each other. We got our own thing going on.”

Well I am no fan of Miley, but basing on these excerpts, I’d say this one’s one interesting issue. I know my sister would be so excited for this. Grab a copy of this issue on your newsstands next month.

Take Emma Watson for example.

Just before the rain poured on the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince last Tuesday, the actress seem to have brought sunshine in the crowd looking so divine and angelic in her vintage Ossie Clark print dress.

Like really, wow! I have always been keen to young celebrities looking trampy and old with their looks, but this one is just heavenly. This is the kind of dress that really speaks of not a girl not yet a woman.

Unfortunately, as weather turned bad that event, the oh-so wow look turned uh-oh and she had to be rescued “after hoisting a drenched dress with a split that flashed her beige knickers to the young crowd after a gust of wind.”

Poor Emma. Well at least she still looked dazzling rain or shine.

Love jeans? Well you may see yourself loving them more seeing Taylor Swift rocking it for Glamour’s jean issue this August.

Clad in a tight blue jeans and stylish black shoes, the 19-years old country singer showed some character and attitude in denims.

On the issue, Taylor dished about her thoughts on maintaining her own identity, saying, “I’ve never felt like I needed to tone down being seen as a regular person. When I first started doing MySpace, I wrote by bio in the first person. I didn’t want [it] to look like a publicity promo site, so I was the one doing all the commenting, and I was the one putting up the pictures and videos. I’ve approached my whole career like that—I don’t see that ever changing.”

She also shared about the inspirations of her songs, having a boyfriend, body issues, and much more.

The issue will be out in newsstands next month.

A friend left me a message this morning telling me of Hollywood cuties cutting off their bangs. I wouldn’t really have paid much attention since I really didn’t think this was much of a big deal. However, when I found out he was talking about Chace Crawford, Zac Efron, and Jared Leto, I just found myself doing this post already.

You got that! Chace Crawford, Zac Efron and Jared Leto. The poster boys for their long locks have all gone clean to show that they have foreheads after all. What do we think of their new looks? Let’s take them one by one.

Chace Crawford

Going back to work for the new season of Gossip Girl late last month, the show’s resident hottie surprised everybody on the set as he bid farewell to his signature, down-in-the-eyes, over-the-ears look. What do we think of Chase’s new look? – Absolutely gorgeous! The ‘do actually made him more apt for his teenage role in the show.

Zac Efron

Probably one of the firsts to sport on a man bangs, Zac Efron also has his hair to thank for the enormous success of his High School Musical character. With his hair so sleek, many have called him metrosexual and vain. Now that the ‘do’s gone do we still think the same? Probably not so vain anymore but I must admit this new ‘do gave Zac a more manly features. This one’s way way better than before.

Jared Leto

Finally, Jared Letto may have realized those bangs are so out for the summer’s heat and decided to go shaved for the season. Our opinion of this new look? – Adorable! But is it just me or Jared really resembled Jake Gyllenhaal here?

Anyway, with these actors cutting off their bangs, expect more to follow this trend.

Her previous public appearances were relatively on the safe, if not dowdy, sides. However, Hayden Panettiere’s latest visit to The Late Show With David Letterman is something that really got me speechless.

Clad in a sheer black Caroline Seikaly dress, I couldn’t help but be in awe with how hot this look is for Hayden. If she seemed to have been having a hard time playing her assets and features in her past appearances, this time she just got everything all right! – The frock, the Stuart Weitzman shoes, the hair, the make-up, and the House of Lavande jewels were all matched perfectly.

It seems like the older Hayden gets, the more skin she’s showing off. Hmhmmm… well we must admit it, not everyone can pull off this daring look; not in the way Hayden did without even looking trampy at all. A success hit this definitely is!

Anyway, Hayden’s in town to promote her upcoming flick, I Love You, Beth Cooper.

A comedy film directed by Chris Columbus, Wikipedia.org writes the movie’s plot as “Nerdy Buffalo Grove High School valedictorian Denis Cooverman (Paul Rust) proclaims his love for the most popular girl in school – Beth Cooper (Hayden Panettiere) – during his graduation speech. Much to his surprise, Beth shows up at his door that very night and decides to show him the best night of his life.”

With this movie coming soon, we sure can expect to see more of Hayden – and more looks for that matter – in the days to come.

Yup, posing for UK Elle’s August 2009 issue, pretty Emma Watson takes us to a different side of her – far from the cutie, charming, and uber intelligent character she plays in the Harry Potter films. Let’s go check out these amazing photos of Emma for the mag.

For the cover itself, Emma looked spectacular in an outfit courtesy of her favorite designer, Chanel. With her heavy feline eyes and disheveled hair, I actually have to pick my jaw from falling with this gorgeous look.

Proving that she doesn’t need to over style to stand out, Emma poses here in a conventional white tank top carrying a chic bag (I’m guessing this one’s Chanel, too). Although I mentioned conventional, everybody can see the photo is actually farm from being conventional.

At first I was alarmed with this photo thinking Emma posed wearing with only a bra. However, when I realized this is just the bustier style of her top, I just had to shut up and be in awe again.

“I don’t want other people to decide who I am. I want to decide that for myself. I want to avoid becoming too styled and too “done” and too generic,” Emma tells the magazine.

This photo seemed to have showcased this point.

Well this is Emma. All grown up and rockin’.

We love her going classic, sophisticated, and glamorous but do we love her going charming? – Of course!

Attending the Escada Spring 2010 presentation for the Berlin Fashion Week, Diane Kruger dons on an Escada sheath showing off the charming side of her. However, I wonder if that side of the frock being tucked in is part of the look’s style or Diane accidentally did it after she went to the rest room. I think that part looked a bit out of the look’s context.

Anyway, while we approve of this fashion side of Diane, I still would say, I’d prefer to see her going high-edge and glamorous in her fashion statements. This kind of look is something I would say, well – too simple for her.

That’s my opinion, but what about yours? What do you think of this look?

Blogging for a celebrity fashion blog, I sometimes could not help playing favorites with the looks of the stars I feature here. Jessica Alba is one of those stars. Until she gave birth.

Well I’m not saying motherhood didn’t suit her since we see her happy and content with her daughter and husband. That certain appeal and fashion-wow in her has however, well – deteriorated.

Fortunately, Jess is slowly getting back to that wow girl that she was. Here, we see her looking refreshed and hot for the summer in her floral top and fashionable sunglasses. And yes, she is indeed sporting on blonder locks now.

With that smile we see from Jessica – something that we don’t usually see in her – I guess we can forego the loss of her uber sex appeal. After all, who needs that when she’s happy being a mom and a wife now, right?

I am never really a fan of tattered jeans; somehow I’m not sure where to place them in my wardrobe – casual or what?

However, I guess I might just find a place for tattered jeans in my wardrobe after seeing how hot they look in Lindsay Lohan.

Going out for a lunch with girl friend, Samantha Ronson to celebrate her 23rd birthday in California, Lindsay was casual and chic in that jeans, tank top over a jacket and some fashionable hat. Ah, ain’t this just refreshing from Lindsay?

Realization with this look? It’s not just in the red carpets where we get to see stars step out their fashionable and refreshing side. Sometimes, there’s more of them in the streets.
