Bollywood Actress rani mukherjee may have sold the taj mahal in a bollywood movie but in real life, she has been duped in a land deal.

The actor has reported to have paid Rs.33 lakhs for buying a plot near shirdi in maharashtra. After the purchases, Rani Mukherjee is said to have paid a stamp duty worth Rs. 1.32 lakhs as a charge for registration but the title of the land could not be transferred to her name.

This plot of land belonged to Sampad Murey, a village farmer there . it was purchased in the name of Rani's father Ram Mukherjee. Shockingly 17 other people have been duped in similar incidents during the past few months

New Delhi: After repeated denials, actor Saif Ali Khan confirmed on Wednesday that he and Kareena Kapoor are indeed 'together'.

�??Yes, we are not exactly shouting from the rooftops but yes, clearly we are together. And we are happy together,�?? Saif said.

The actor made the admission as he walked in with Kareena for designer Manish Malhotra's grand finale show at the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai.

Following a reported break-up between Kareena and her "boyfriend-for-four-years", Shahid Kapur, the actress and Saif have been spotted together at numerous hotspots in Mumbai and Delhi.

The two reportedly got close while shooting for their upcoming film Tashan, setting the rumour mills abuzz with their "link-up."

Freshly-split from Shahid, the actress celebrated her 27th birthday last month with a small party for select friends including Saif.

The chhote nawab for his part, has been single for months now, since his break-up with girlfriend Roza. The actor has, since, been linked to Bipasha Basu and Dia Mirza.

Saif and Kareena were last paired together in J P Dutta's LOC>, which tanked at the box-office.

Rumour has it that Shahid has taken the split badly and has been constantly avoiding media glare since his return from a shoot abroad.

That film distributors are shunning Ajay Devgan is old news. But here's the latest on the Devgan front. I am told that Ajay has walked out of Aparna Sen's next film �?? Gulel. Ajay cited the proverbial 'date problems' as the issue. But surprisingly, the man who has jumped on to the opportunity is Abhishek Bachchan. The film also star Bipasha Basu. Ajay it seems is really planning to focus on his comeback into mainstream commercial cinema. Salman follows Ash all the way to Tussauds

New Delhi: All set to stand shoulder to shoulder with Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and old friend Aishwarya Rai, is Bollywood star Salman Khan.

It has been learnt that Salman is the latest star whose waxwork will be installed at London's Madame Tussauds wax museum where a Bollywood corner of sorts has already been created.

According to sources, Salman was picked over a bunch of other stars including Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, John Abraham and Kajol. The honour is meant to be a reflection of Salman's popularity among fans in the West.

The actor, who is shooting in Austria currently for Subhash Ghai's new film Main Yuvraj, is expected to pose for measurements for his waxwork on his return to Mumbai.

A team of artists and designers from Madame Tussauds will fly into Mumbai to record Salman's vital stats, his hair details, his eye colour and all necessary measurements that will be needed to recreate his waxwork.

Hrithik ditches Zoya Akhtar

For the last one-year Hrithik Roshan and Zoya Akhtar have been jointly working on the script for Kismet Talkies. Hrithik had committed to the film about a year ago. Zoya Akhtar being the through professional that she is had given him a fully complete script. Unfortunately, Hrithik was not happy with the script. But Zoya was so clear about having Hrithik that she went ahead and made the changes. And Hrithik pretended he was okay with the script. He maintained he would start shooting for Zoya's film just as soon as he was through with Jodha Akbar.

But now that Hrithik has finally completed Jodha Akbar he has given Zoya the royal ditch. A source close to the actor informed us, "He claims he is unhappy with the script but that is not the case. Firstly, Hrithik wants to start his father's film Crazy 4 which has been delayed due to Jodha Akbar. Secondly, Zoya was keen on Kareena Kapoor and Suzanne Roshan is not comfortable at the idea of her hubby working with Kareena."

Hrithik's decision has stunned everybody as the film was to be made under the Farhan Akhtar's banner Excel Entertainment, the people who gave Hrithik the critically acclaimed film Lakshya. But then, that's gratitude for you!

Dutt bailed out for 7 days, TADA court next stop

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday granted interim bail to actor Sanjay Dutt, who is serving a six-year prison term in Pune�??s Yerawada jail.

A special TADA court in Mumbai had on July 31 sentenced Dutt to prison for illegal possession of weapons during the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts.

Yerawada jail officials will either release Dutt on Monday evening or on Tuesday depending on when they get a copy of the Supreme Court�??s order. The bail is valid till the time the TADA court gives him a copy of its judgment.

The TADA court is expected to give a copy of its judgment by August 27�??which will allow Dutt to spend seven days outside jail.

Dutt, after getting a copy of the TADA court�??s judgment, will have to surrender before police. While on bail he has to appear once a week before a police station and cannot leave the country without the TADA court�??s permission.

After getting a copy of the TADA court�??s judgment, he will have to surrender before the same court for consideration of regular bail.

Dutt�??s passport will remain with the TADA court. A bench headed by Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan granted Dutt relief considering the fact that he was on bail from October 16, 1995 to July 31, 2007.

The Supreme Court ruled that all convicts in 1993 Mumbai blasts case who have not been given copies of the TADA�??s court�??s judgment must get bail. This applies to both those convicted under the TADA and Arms Act.

The court also granted interim bail to five other convicts: Sameer Hingora, Aziz Ahmed Mohammad Ahmed Sheikh, Ibrahim Musa Chauhan alias Baba Chauhan, Yusuf Mohsin Nulwalla and Zaibunnisa Anwar Kazi.

The court granted them bail while laying down the same conditions as put forth to Dutt.

Dutt�??s lawyers had filed an appeal before the apex court challenging his conviction under the Arms Act on the ground that the gun, pistol and ammunition which he allegedly got from gangsters involved in the blasts were not recovered from him

New Delhi: Actor Sanjay Dutt on Tuesday was awarded six years rigorous imprisonment for illegal possession of weapons in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts.

Dutt, who has already been convicted under the Arms Act, was immediately taken into custody and sent to Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail. He can appeal in the Supreme Court against the TADA court verdict.

Other co-accused Yusuf Nulwalla has been sentenced to five years in prison under the Arms Act for aiding Dutt to dispose of the AK-56 rifle while Karsi Adjania was awarded two years in jail.

As the judgment was being read out a visibly shocked Dutt was seen shivering and holding back tears.

Earlier, Judge PD Kode said, that Dutt attended a dinner party hosted by actor-filmmaker Feroze Khan during the shooting of Yalgaar in December 1992 in Dubai. The party was also attended by gangsters Dawood Ibrahim and Iqbal Mirchi.
