Courtney Love’s new album will be called Nobody’s Daughter and you can get it in January. You won’t find it under “Courtney Love” though…better check under her old band’s name – Hole. Think spooky Poltergeist here: They’re back! If you want to read her ramblings about some of her songs, you can find it here. I’ll forewarn you though that it was a little hard to follow.

Nicolas Cage Homes Going to Auction

Nic Cage has two homes in New Orleans he hasn’t made payments on according to TMZ. The bank has foreclosed on the homes. Wow…and I didn’t think celebrities understood what the rest of us were going through trying to hang onto our homes. I guess when he has several to choose from, maybe losing two isn’t a big deal when most of us struggle to hang onto the only one we have.

Of course, his draw at the movies isn’t what it used to be so maybe he’s having financial problems too. He used to be a favorite of mine years ago and then the whole Lisa Marie thing happened and then it all just got weird.

Taylor Swift on SNL

Taylor Swift was on SNL last Saturday and who would have thought that she would have been funny! She really did quite a good job for being such a young singer. Her monologue was very good as well mentioning Kanye West and Joe Jonas…you get ‘em girl! Everyone loved the fact that she took that dig at those people that have been in her life and in the press for the past few weeks.

Cindy Crawford Extortion Plot

Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, were the subject of a foiled extortion plot. Apparently, a former nanny played a “game” with Cindy’s daughter, in which she took pictures of the little girl (who was seven years old at the time) tied in a chair and gagged. Somebody who knew the nanny stole the picture from her and tried to use it to get money out of the family. There is a warrant out for this guy’s arrest (he was deported first) but the nanny isn’t facing charges. If you ask me, there’s something fishy about a nanny who takes pictures like this! She’d just been fired the week before this happened.

‘Big Brother’ Winner Drug Charges

So, the “Big Brother” winner, Adam Jasinski, was charged with possession of Oxycodone and had the intent to distribute. If he is convicted he can face up to 20 years in prison. He used the prize money to fun his illegal drug activities which was up to $500,000 that he will have to hand over to the authorities. He is held without bail becaues he is a flight risk…hmmm…..drug dealer a flight risk? Do you think?

Coco Perez Says JoBros Foxy

According to Coco Perez’s blog, the Jonas Brothers looked foxy while at the EMAs in Berlin. They’re cute in a boy-band kinda way but I’m not sure I’d go as far as to say they are “foxy” wearing the shiny pants seen here. Too much glare!! I like the Jonas Brothers because they’re a clean-cut band that my kids can enjoy without my having to worry about what new words they are learning but shiny, tight pants? Slick.

It didn’t take her very long to drop the lawsuit…about the time it takes you to think, “oopsie, my bad.”

Vampire Diaries Gets Its Full Season

If you are a fan of Vampire Diaries, you’ll be happy to hear they were just picked up for a full season. This is the “must see” show in my house with my oldest daughter. She’s almost as ga-ga over these vamps as she is over Edward Cullen (ya’ll know who Edward Cullen is right?). I’m not as crazy about it as I am with the Twilight saga, though the bad vamp in Vampire Diaries has a certain bad-boy appeal.

Enjoy the vamps on television and out trick-or-treating. Happy Halloween!
