Moron and Obama in the Same Sentence?

Wow, the media used Obama and "moronically" in the same sentence. Isn't that against some media rule or something enacted when President Obama became President? I was surprised to see it - not surprised at the action of President Obama but at the way it was reported. Here is the article and here is the photo they are talking about.

I found this commentator's response particularly funny.

so, is the photo real? Some say yes. Who knows.

I really wish most celebrities would stay out of the mainstream media about their political leanings. I think it is odd that super-rich celebrities think they know what is best for the mainstream, middle-class and lower-class masses when they are so out of touch with reality.

There are a few celebrities that actually seem to play a real role (George Clooney I'm thinking of at the moment) but seeing Julia Roberts on David Letterman (insomnia that night or else I wouldn't have been watching at all) talk about who she is going to vote for again in the upcoming election - pfft. Will she actually vote or will her housekeeper or personal assistant mail the vote in for her? They're just not realistic.

I saw that Desperate Housewives premieres September 25th. That's bad that I actually thought Desperate Housewives was over. I thought they'd all packed up and moved away from Wisteria Lane. I've been out of the whole "veg out in front of the television" loop for awhile now. Obviously.

I read that Ashton Kutcher was replacing Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men (in a new role, not Charlie Sheen's role which is getting killed off I read). Notice I said "read" and not "watched". I did say I've been out of the television loop for awhile. It shows.

I am not a Katy Perry fan. Sorry, but it sounds like bubblegum pop and while I LOVED the 80's and pop music then and now, I doubt I would've loved Katy Perry even back in the 80's. Besides, having to explain that little french word (starts with menage - - ) in one of her latest songs to my daughter (so she didn't ask her french teacher) was not one of my best parenting moments. She walked off saying, "Ewwwww!!!" I wonder if I should write that in her baby book for her to have when she is older and laugh about. Ugh.

Listening to music on the radio with too many parts all bleeped out - - really silly. I'd like to be able to listen to a song fully on the radio and actually hear all of it. Music is getting quite vulgar. I'm not a prude and really like artists like Prince and Eminem (and he's a bad one for bleeped out songs on the radio) but it's going a bit far with the vulgarity anymore. My kids walk around singing Nicki Minaj and they're censoring themselves with bleeped silence at the bad parts (good thing for them).

Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) is looking pretty good in his sunglasses. The Rock is one guy who is liked by both children (for his roles in movies such as The Game Plan and Race to Witch Mountain) and adults (for The Scorpion King), especially the moms I would imagine.

The bus was coming from New York on its way to North Carolina, Miley's next concert. Miley was not on the bus that crashed.

Another celebrity and another leaked tape. This one is Carmen Electra and simulated sex with another woman. It's also possibly a publicity stunt. It'll bring her lots of online and media attention I'm sure.

Last week, I watched one of Carmen Electra's Striptease exercise DVD's looking for something fun to add into exercising. It was boring. I turned it off before it was even finished.

Now I haven't seen this leaked tape of Carmen (nor do I plan to look for it). There is always going to be a celebrity somewhere putting things on tape who should either know better (they always come out) or who do it on purpose for the sole intent that it does come out.
