Jedward may have been the comedy act when they first grabbed the attention of the masses performing on TV talent show, the X Factor, but the twins are now said to be worth a cool €4 million since carving out a solid career in pop music.

The Grimes twins are said to be raking in as much as €25,000 a gig and have amassed a huge following too. A ticket to one of their concerts will set you back at least €35 and they are packing out venues.

John and Edward are in high demand and have been swamped with advertising deals for some pretty big companies such as Abrakebabra, mobile phone operator '3', moneysupermarket.com and Nintendo. Their Nintendo deal was said to be worth a staggering €600,000.

The boys have just announced that they will be appearing in Panto again this December at Dublin's Olympia Theatre, and tickets for The Magic Lamp will go on sale Thursday.

Snow Patrol confirmed for T in the Park

Janet Devlin Will Miss Grandfather's Funeral For X Factor

16 year old X Factor hopeful Janet Devlin from Tyrone found out this week that her Grandfather tragically passed away on Wednesday night, and will miss his funeral, which has been arranged for Saturday, the same day she is due to perform in London on the X Factor live shows.

Her fellow X Factor contestants have rallied round her in the X Factor Mansion to keep her spirits up after having to make such an agonising decision, with Sami Brookes offering to move out of their shared room to give Janet privacy.

An X Factor source told press, "Janet's grandfather passed away yesterday evening and the funeral is taking place on Saturday.

"Janet discussed the situation with her parents and it was decided that she should remain in the competition this weekend and not attend the funeral.

"Janet's grandfather was so proud of her and loved to listen to her sing, Janet and her family knew that he would want her to perform this weekend."

On last weekend's show, Janet performed her version of Coldplay's Fix You, which prompted Louis Walsh to respond, "You’ve got Celtic soul and you’ve got the voice of an angel. She’s what this show is all about - new, raw talent!"

Tulisa added, "You are just as memorising now and when I first saw you. Everytime I see you I’m just speechless, your vocals are amazing."

Gary Barlow said, "You are totally a one off and unique talent and you were amazing."

Janet's new look has divided public opinion. She said of her makeover, "I heard all these guys talking about the makeovers and stuff and I said I bet you they are gonna dye my hair ginger and when they told me.. I was like....I was cool."

She said after last week's show, "I’m from a small village, quite literally it’s in the middle of nowhere, it’s pretty bleak.

"Because of where I live, I do spend a lot of time by myself in my room, reading, writing and singing.

"The reason why I haven’t been out singing is probably the lack of confidence, it’s a lot easier to sing in the house than it is to sing in front of an audience."

It would appear that Halloween has come early for X Factor hopeful Kitty Brucknell as she steps out in this rather garish looking outfit. Now that's what we call a pair of proper hooker boots!

The 26 year old talent show hopeful used to impersonate Lady Gaga, as well as Britney Spears, and it seems she has been digging in her old dress up box again to put together this horrendous fashion failure.

The acts who made it to the final 16 of this year's X Factor have recorded a cover of 'Wishing on a Star', a charity single which will be released as a download on November 20th. Proceeds will go to ACT and Children's Hospices UK.

With the premier of the new series of Two and a Half Men out of the way, there is a whole lot of buzz around the hot comedy show now that Charlie Sheen has been replaced by Ashton Kutcher. The CBS sitcom had a record breaking 28.7 million viewers on the first show of the season.

Sheen's character on the show, Charlie Harper was killed off by the show producer Chuck Lorre. He decided to get rid of Sheen due to his alcohol and drug binges and increasingly erratic behaviour. In order to kill off Charlie's character, tonight's show saw him being ran over by a subway train.

Fans of the show are divided as to whether or not they think that Sheen could ever be replaced on the show, but producers have given Kutcher's character many of the same qualities that made Charlie Harper so popular. Neve Campbell will star in the drama

Titanic Blood and Steel is a drama series being planned for early next year starring Kevin Zegers, Chris Noth, Derek Jacobi and Neve Campbell. Campbell will be the reporter who is covering the story of Titanic's maiden voyage in the show.

Zegers is going to play a meallurgist who discovers flaws in the metals and materials which were being used to build the Titanic, while Noth plays financier JP Morgan and Jacobi will play Lord William Pirrie in the show.

Fashion designer John Galliano has been found guilty in a French court, of making anti-Semitic comments to three people in a cafe in Paris, France. Although he escaped jail time, he was made to pay a fine of 6000 Euros.

The world famous fashion designer was fired by Christian Dior over the comments, after a video appeared of Galliano praising Adolf Hitler and the Nazi movement. He state in court that the remarks were down to drugs.

Irish comedian Andrew Maxwell could be in line to win the prestigious £10,000 prize for 'Best Comedy Show' at this year's Edinburgh Festival. The awards ceremony is known in the industry as the ''Oscars of the comedy world!"

Louis Walsh Accuser Charged For Lying About Assault

The man who accused Louis Walsh of sexual assault is being charged for making up the allegations. Leonard Watters accused X Factor judge and Westlife manager Louis Walsh of touching him inappropriately in Dublin nightclub, Krystle.

24 year old Watters was granted bail until November 2nd at Dublin District Court today. Detective Inspector Michael Cryan told the judge that Mr Watters said he had "nothing to say," when he was charged with the second offence.

If found guilty of making up the accusations, Watters could be facing a minimum of a 500 Euros fine, and a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison.

The allegations were extremely embarrassing for Mayo born Louis Walsh, who has had an amazing career so far, having had huge successes with boybands Boyzone and Westlife.

Boyzone have sold over 20 million albums worldwide, while Westlife have sold almost 50 million. Louis is also famous for appearing as a TV talent show judge on Popstars and X Factor.

More recently, Louis has had unprecedented success with Irish twins Jedward, who have ammassed a pretty impressive fan base, with one of their Facebook groups having 105,000 followers. Louis also helps manage the careers of Irish girlband Wonderland, alongside Kian Egan.

Irish Celebrities Targeted By Cyber Bullies

Well known Irish celebrities such as Ryan Tubridy, Amanda Brunker, Brian O'Driscoll and Dara O'Briain have all been attacked online by cyber bullies. Many famous personalities are making themselves wide open to abuse, by allowing themselves to be openly contacted by their fans in such public forums as Facebook and Twitter.

Dara O'Briain was reportedly called a fat slug online, while Brian O'Driscoll was told by one of his 'followers' that he should retire. Ryan Tubridy gave up on Twitter after receiving horrendous abuse for a period spanning a few months.

People who use online methods to bully, are generally known as 'Troll's because of the way in which they stalk their victims. Cyber bullying is a crime, which is being recognised more and more by the authorities with each passing day, due it's relevance in this day in age. The people who choose to 'cyber bully' generally do so because they would not be brave enough for a face to face confrontation, which is why the authorities have started to close in on these criminals by using technology to track them down. Could Paddy Doherty Change The Way People See Travellers?

From an early stage in the competition, Doherty has been seen as a possible dark horse to win Celebrity Big Brother for 2011, with the final being on Thursday this week.

There has been a very negative attitude towards travellers, especially over in the UK in recent years, as local townspeople and villagers do their best to ethnically cleanse their counties by forcibly removing travellers from the land which they legally own.
