Beyonce going Black for 'Blackface'!

Beyonce has done it again! Yep, the star managed to create another havoc in the world of critics! This time it is for her shoot for the famous French Magazine L'Officiel Paris.

It all started when the mag decided to pay tribute to Nigerian musician Fela Kuti for their 90th anniversary by painting Beyonce's face Black complete with tribal markings and dress, all designed by her own mom, Tina Knowles. Naturally, the 'tribute' backfired and the public reacted quite negatively to the photos!

In defense of their pics of a darker Beyonce, the mag issued the following statement, explaining that it was depicting a "return to her African roots, as you can see on the picture, on which her face was voluntarily darkened."

Well, so much for that explanation as it didn't seem to appease the critics who have labeled it as 'racism' (WTH??!)

Said one critic in not-such-a-few-words: "It's fun to play with fashion and makeup, and fashion has a history of provocation and pushing boundaries. But when you paint your face darker in order to look more 'African,' aren't you reducing an entire continent, full of different nations, tribes, cultures and histories, into one brown color?"

Maybe we ought to see that not every intention of the glamor mags are bad, and certainly Beyonce's weren't evil. What do you think?

Well, the estranged duo found solace in each other and finally after 2 years of grieving for their exs, the 2 tied the knot on a Puerto Rico beach.

Lately, Reese has been in the news quite a lot. Recently, the star was honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Later she was in news for getting a black eye of the set of her movie. AND now, the star made headlines after she revealed to the press that she and ~~Tim Roth~~ Jim Toth are engaged and will be walking down the aisle shortly!

Witherspoon, 34, was previously married to her actor hubby, Ryan Phillipe, with whom she has two children, daughter Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7. The couple split after 7 years of marriage. (No need to explain that Ava was born before they got married officially.)

Now the pretty actress is in love all over and happy with her new man, who also happens to be working at CAA, an entertainment and creative sport agency of which Reese herself is a client. Not that Jim, 40, is her agent but people speculate that she's following Britney's footsteps and getting involved with ~~her~~ an agent is a bad idea! But, as long as the couple are happy and she won't go coo coo like poor Britney, it's all right!

Also he seems to get along well with her 2 children and that's good. 'How Do You Know' that things won't turn up good for the couple?! Let's hope they do! All the best to Reese!

It had been no secret that the duo wanted to be ~~mum and dad~~ parents. The two, who tied the knot in 2005 civil ceremony, after 12 years of being together, even tried adoption.

Sir Elton and his husband, David, nearly managed to adopt a child from Russia but due to the Russian restrictive laws (not allowing Gay couples to adopt children. i.e.) the couple didn't succeed. However, they have been supporting the orphan boy and his brother financially to this day.

Now, the proud couple are happy to announce that they have become proud Mom (Sir Elton, 62) and dad (David, 48) to a baby boy born of a surrogate ~~mother~~ woman (can't call her the mom coz that title applies to Sir Elton) based in California.

The boy, named Zachary, is 7lb and healthy and here's what the couple had to say:

"We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment...Zachary is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy parents"

Also, during an interview, David had revealed their plans for raising a family by themsleves and not by dumping the kids on nannies:

"We don't want to put the raising of children into the hands of nannies and housekeepers. We want to be active parents. We have godchildren [and] kids that we support in Africa, so we're fine."

Though the star is raising her 2-year old daughter, Sunday Rose, with her and hubby Keith Urban, the star can't help but miss her 2 children. Both of them had chosen to stay with dad Cruise back when Nicole and him divorced. The 2 teens live with their father Tom, his current wife Katie Holmes and their 5 year old daughter, Suri.

According to her interview with Hello!Magazine, the actress said:

"They live with Tom, which was their choice...I'd love them to live with us, but what can you do?"

Now, a year later, the star wishes she had not undergone the horrors of post-plastic surgery!

Montag underwent breast, neck and thigh and all sorts of liposuction, you name it and she has had them all done but here is what she told the Life and Style Magazine:

Though she had the choice not to do it in the first place, we still sympathize with Montag and again this shows how much pressure the young stars are under to look 'perfect' and 'beautiful'.

Usually it is a castle, a building or a monument that is listed as a heritage site but the famous Beatles' Abbey Road Zebra Crossing is far from usual! Fans from all over the world visit the famous crossing which, to this day, is deemed 'a mecca' for all the Beatles' fans world wide!

The crossing made famous by a 10 minute photo shoot by the English Band back in August 1969 has been given a Grade II listing due to its "cultural and historical importance by the Authorities.

Shania Twain and Her Strange Love-Story: She's Finally Found the Love of Her Life and is Engaged!

Life has been real bizarre for the country singer, especially her love life!

After 14 years of marriage, Twain's hubby, Robert Lange, suddenly left her for her best friend Marie Anne Thiebaud in 2008. Both Lange and Marie-Anne vehemently denied an affair.

The heart broken 45 year old star found solace in her ex-best friend's hubby, Frederic Thiebaud, a 40 year old Swiss-born Nestle Executive. Soon after they were inseparable and the singer confirmed her relationship to the tabloids after Frederic popped the question 2 months ago in Switzerland.

Mentioning Frederic, the singer wrote on her official website:

"[he's] a dear friend and true gentleman...We leaned on one another through the ups and downs, taking turns holding each other up. We've become stronger and closer through it all."

Abu Dhabi's always in headlines when it comes to opulent displays no matter how small or insignificant the occasion!

This year the Emirates Palace Hotel decided to display its 'openness and tolerance' towards others (Abu Dabhi is officially a Muslim Nation) by setting up a huge Christmas Tree worth $11 million of decoration loaded on it!

After receiving negative comments on their ridiculous OVER-spending from goodness-knows-who, the Hotel officially regretted the display and even pinned it on the local jewelry shop guy who was supposedly given the charge of putting up the Tree.

Well, we know we can count on the ostentatious-ness (a difficult word to spell we know!) of Emirates. They always tend to OVERDO it!

Reese Witherspoon Suffers a Black Eye and a Bloody Nose on Set!

As the week came to an end we received a bit of bad news! While shooting for 'How Do You Know', Reese's latest flick also starring Jack Nicholson and Owen Wilson, the cute actress suffered a black eye and a bloody nose during the movie's brief 20 second softball scene.

The star joked about it and admitted she needed sympathy from her coach but wasn't given any since she had been practicing for 4 months in order to make the softball scene look credible.

Reese is fully recovered, of-course, but admits her children got a brief shock watching her getting a hit but they were all cool about it later.
