Do More With Less: Optimize Performance Now

This economic climate is challenging all organizations to do more with less. Those that use their energy and ingenuity to use this time as an opportunity to improve performance will not only survive, but thrive in continuing to help those they serve. CNPE invites you to a seminar that will help you to improve performance with less resources.

The seminar will be led by Chris Schulz, a Certified Performance Technologist by the International Society for Performance Improvement. He has both an MBA and Masters degree in Human Resource Development, and extensive experience as a trainer and internal consultant at Toyota where he taught, assessed, and led teams in a world-class lean organization to improve performance.

If you are responsible for driving the performance of any part of your organization, then this session is for you. Chris will teach the key philosophies of successful ‘lean’ organizations, introduce practical tools to analyze performance needs and opportunities, and discuss how to select and implement successful interventions.

Participants will:

Discuss the similarities and differences of discovering performance improvement opportunities versus reacting to performance issues.
Assess their own problem solving style and the culture of their organization to operate as a successful lean organization.

Define ‘performance’ and learn a model for improving performance.
Conduct a performance gap analysis on a specific area of their organization.

Discuss common causes for not achieving optimal performance, and effective interventions to consider to improve performance.

Define key action items to make a performance improvement in their organization.
