Central Florida Bricks

Reopened

2016-02-21T11:52:00.003-05:00

The store is reopened. I need to do some spring cleaning and thin out the collection a little. I've added a few sets, and to be fair, no reasonable offer will be turned down if you think the prices are a little high. :)

Yikes!

2012-06-06T01:27:00.001-04:00

Yikes! Looks like it's been over 6 months since I last updated this page. I do web-site work for BrickMagic, Brickworld, and BrickBuildr, you'd think I'd find the time to update this blog. :)

With Bricklink suffering from SQL-injection attacks, I can sympathize with the web-site's administrator. It's a pain to go through all your code and make sure it doesn't happen again. In the back of my mind, I wonder what would it take to create something as sophisticated as Bricklink and honestly, it staggers the imagination -- for all it's warts, and hard to understand navigation, it's a great web-site.

Happy Holidays

2011-12-22T09:51:00.002-05:00

This has been an off year for me... didn't attend any LEGO conventions. Haven't created too many MOCs... I'm hoping next year will be different.

Anyway, happy holidays to everyone!

Halloween Gear Added

Just added some Halloween gear to my store! :)

My Store is Open

2010-08-18T10:03:00.000-04:00

BrickMagic 2010, Brickworld 2010, and Star Wars Celebration V is now over. For me, there's only one more event LEGO event left for the year -- Festival of the Masters -- which is in my backyard in November.

I've decided to get my BrickLink store reorganized, so I've put my 55K+ parts in the stock-room for now, except for the key-chains -- I have those organized nicely, for quick, easy access. I'm thinking about streamlining, so I can respond to orders faster. And since I run this store as a hobby, I'm thinking about eliminating any parts under $0.10 from my store -- for the time it takes me to look for 5 x $0.03 parts, I could be building or doing other things.

Anyway, look for more items to be moved out of the stock-room in the coming weeks & for some newer items to be added.

BrickMagic Next Week

2010-04-28T00:52:00.000-04:00

I should be wrapping up open orders this week & mailing out ones that have been paid for soon... I ended up coming down with bronchitis which knocked me out for a few days -- I still have the cough.

BrickMagic is next week, so I'll be in Raleigh, North Carolina over mother's day weekend, then I'll be on vacation for a few days following. I'm hoping the down time will give me a chance to straighten up my Bricklink store when I get back into town.

15% Off Entire Inventory

2010-04-06T14:33:00.000-04:00

My birthday is coming up next month... and another important anniversary is coming up -- 10 years of having a store on Bricklink. In preparation, I'm starting sales a little early this year. Right now, everything in inventory is 15% off. I'll be pulling stuff out of the stockroom in the next week, hopefully to start cleaning out inventory that's been sitting around since we moved down to Florida.

Time for a Sale
