We travel east along the escarpment, before diving down into Otford for lunch at the Bull. This is followed by a lovely, quiet stretch along the valley towards Eynsford, including a short off road section through Lullington country park takes us under the stunning Eynsford viaduct. We wind our way on to Swanley and then via National route XX into Dartford.  You can leave at Otford, or Swanley for a quick train back to London Bridge<br/>Meet the leader 09.30 London Bridge for 09.43 to Orpington arr. 10.08 (or start at Charing Cross -9.30).<br />

Ponds, lanes, old and young trees, High Weald.<br />
Lunch in Cowden at <em>The Fountain</em> , maybe in the garden. Tea in lovely Chiddingstone at <em>The Tulip Tree</em> . We might hear some music from the castle.<br/>Take the Southern train from Victoria to East Grinstead departing at 10.21, arriving in Oxted at 11.00. <br />
Return trains from Oxted to Victoria run every 30 minutes (xx:29 and xx:59).<br />

We cycle along the sea wall for a few miles. There is one section of about 250 metres that involves walking through. Lunch at the Harps Inn in Minster.<br/>Suggested Train is the  09.40 from Victoria arrives Rainham 10.33.<br />
There are many other options for trains including cheapish HST fares currently from St Pancras direct to Rainham. <br />
Leader meets you at Rainham.<br />
