Take the 9:40 service from London St Pancras International (leader boards at Finsbury Park 9:48), arriving at Stevenage at 10:08. Back at Stevenage around 4 pm.

A hilly ride with a new leader, leaving Orpington towards the North Downs, via Downe house into Biggin Hill for the only mentionable climb of the day. We travel east along the escarpment, before diving down into Otford for lunch at the Bull. This is followed by a lovely, quiet stretch along the valley towards Eynsford, including a short off road section through Lullington country park takes us under the stunning Eynsford viaduct. We wind our way on to Swanley and then via National route XX into Dartford. You can leave at Otford, or Swanley for a quick train back to London Bridge
Meet the leader 09.30 London Bridge for 09.43 to Orpington arr. 10.08 (or start at Charing Cross -9.30).

A short (46 km) ride with much off-road and lovely views to slow us down. The route is ok on any bike (tested on fixed gear bike with 25 mm tyres), fatter tyres will aid comfort.

Lunch at the Beeches Eco Café in Burnham Beeches. Cheap, cheerful and tasty.

For acoustic riders - 09:36 Elizabeth Line from Liverpool Street (09.39 Farringdon, 09.48 Paddington) to Langley (arr 10:13) FP friendly.
Two groups meet at junction of Welley Road, Horton Road and Datchet Road, about 800 m North of Sunnymeads station, and on the route from Langley.
