Century Softball Player Haley Husom Named NJCAA Player of the Week!

Awesome Haley Husom earned Player of the Week honors for the 2ND time in 2013!

Ms. Husom spurred the Wood Ducks on to two wins in their four games last week. She batted for a .529 average (9-for-17) with two doubles and a triple. The freshman accumulated eight RBIs across the week and scored eight runs of her own. Husom leads the Wood Ducks with a .593 batting average on the year.

Ms. Husom was named one of the OC Sports/NJCAA Softball Players of the Week: March 25-31!

The Wood Ducks started their 2013 campaign on the right foot, winning their first three games of the season behind Husom’s offensive effort. The freshman had a .700 batting average (7-for-10), cranking three doubles and a triple for a 1.200 slugging percentage. On the week, Husom drove home six runs while scoring six of her own. Early in the season, Husom has already positioned herself as one of Century’s top hitters.
