Jack Duffie CEO Space Sales and Marketing ExpertJack Duffie has served in several corporate positions including sales management and marketing. As an international corporate trainer he has spoken to audiences of more than 15,000. While serving as a member of the Presidential Advisory Council with National Safety Associates, he has traveled to 8 countries including Europe, Mexico, and almost every state in the union.

Jack has been an entrepreneur and business owner for many years. His true passion is helping people achieve their dreams and goals. Currently, he is the President and CEO of his own green technology products company.

Formerly, Jack served as Vice President of Marketing for CEO Space, a position that allowed him to reach out to entrepreneurs across the country and pursue his real passion: helping entrepreneurs find real success. Despite Jack's busy schedule he still finds time to travel as a guest speaker for CEO Space.

On September 14th, at the same location, Film Producer, Director, Writer David Stanley will be in town to coach aspiring and established entrepreneurs, film makers and other who are looking to raise capital using CEO Space as an alternative source of funding.

CEO Space faculty member and mentor David E. Stanley was first exposed to the art of filmmaking as a young boy while growing up on the back lots of film studio giants like MGM and Paramount where he watched his stepbrother Elvis Presley make movies

At the age of 16 he began working and touring with Elvis as a personal aide and bodyguard.  From 1972 to 1977 he did hundreds of shows with his world famous stepbrother and was part of some of the most historical concert events of the 20th century.

Today David is a writer, producer, director and founder & president of Impello Films, Inc.  His most recent feature film Protecting The King, a film based on his years with the King of Rock & Roll, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2007 where it received worldwide critical acclaim.  In addition, David is a top consultant in the areas of motion picture development, film finance, capital compliance, investor relations, and distribution.

As a writer/producer David taps into his ability to write and produce stories that create dramatic contrasts and access a wide range of human emotions. He is currently producing his next feature film project Restoring My Father’s Honor. A true story driven by a son’s determined pursuit to restore the honor of his deceased father, the film reveals a truth that has been buried more than 50 years.
He has been a frequent guest on Larry King Live, appeared on shows like 20/20, Good Morning America and CBS This Morning and has been the source of numerous articles for such publications as Life Magazine.  He lives in Dallas, Texas.

Another business crash has been predicted in the next 6 months or so.  Are you prepared?  It sounds like doom and gloom, however, you can gain control over your economic destiny by exploring entrepreneurship.  In the book, Jobenomics, by Washington insider Charles Vollmer, he describes how entrepreneurs have the opportunity to create 20 million new jobs by 2020.

However, many are afraid to take the risk, especially when times are tough. It is imperative to have a strong support team working with the entrepreneur to give a new start up business the best chance for survival.

I think the beauty of CEO Space is the fact that each and every business owner gets customized support for their business.  When you think of networking workshops or seminars, you usually find a one size all approach.  At CEO Space, each entrepreneur is directed to whom ever they need to get to the next step.  It may be a connection to a potential customer, a mentor, a resource,  a business strategy to improve performance or capital.

Members spend the entire week improving their presentation so that when they are out in the marketplace, they have clarity and focus The opportunity to spend a week meeting and brainstorming with other like-minded individuals, brings faster and more concrete results than a hit or miss model.

Although some networking venues are designed to create referrals, they do not always pan out.  The members of a leads group, for example, may not be the best resource available, and it is limiting. Generally the point is, to only refer to members, but that is not always the case.  I was once in a group with a disaster of a contractor.  I would have been doing others a great disservice referring business to him.

In a Seminar situation, a speaker, or group of speakers, take the stage for the purpose of up-selling products. Although the content in the seminar is valuable, it does not always apply to specific problems a business owner may be experiencing. There is often additional cost involved that can bankrupt and confuse a participant if they follow every trail that is offered.

Not every member of CEO Space finds it necessary to come to each forum five times per year.  However, if a company finds they are experiencing a downturn, they come back to fix the problem and get feedback.

I admit, that when I became a member of CEOSpace I had no concept of what it took to raise capital. In fact, I wasn't in the type of business model that required it.  However, since becoming a CEOSpace Club President, I have come across many who are seeking funding.  The problem is, they are going about it in the wrong way and are not getting results.

I witnessed a woman, in charge of seeking investors for a film project, literally begging for money.  Another wanted to meet investors, but didn't even know what projects she wanted to produce yet.  Still another, had a lovely project put together by his lawyer and accountant, but did not possess the language skills to properly present his project.

In order to receive capital from investors you need to be prepared and compliant.  That requires multiply documents, presentations, etc.  It also requires knowing the language of raising capital.  Investors are not as interested in what your actual project is, as much as they are interested in how they will get a return on their money.

At CEOSpace we have top executive mentors on hand, at each of our forums, who will help a business owner seeking capital, to make sure their presentations are complete before they approach an investor.  We also have many investors who fly in, do not wear a name badge announcing that they are an investor, who will sit and listen to your presentations. If a business owner is ready to receive capital, they often will, and in very big numbers.
