DAVID 3D Scanner &#8211; a program that enables you to perform three-dimensional scanning of objects and convert the results into a model that can be imported into 3D editors.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">To use the neobhoim computer attached camera (suitable webcam). The object should be set in the corner of the room before the two planes, which should be placed at an angle of 90 degrees relative to each other. Then you need to pick up a laser pointer, turn on the camera, send it to the object and begin to drive the laser on the object, as a brush. In this case, the program automatically calculates the 3D-coordinates of the scanned surface. DAVID also includes a special algorithm, which brings together in one whole scan results obtained from different sides.<br />
Immediately after the scan obtained 3d model can be viewed in the integrated program in OpenGL viewer. The result can be saved in the format. Obj and use to work with different 3D editors. The latest version version supports DV cameras / camcorders and the ability to import pre-recorded video files, as well as work with graphics.</p>

The full professional package for TV graphics, animation movies, adverts, web graphics, games, etc that allows animating your own models which are not based on the default LS:HEAD templates. Even talking animal or any other objects can be pre-produced in 3ds max and Maya and animated in LIFESTUDIO:HEAD. The package includes LS:HEAD Editor, Import-Export plug-ins and MusclesSetup plug-ins for both Autodesk 3ds Max and Maya. The full integration with the latest versions of 3ds max and Maya is provided.</p>
<p>ith LIFESTUDIO:HEAD Pro an artist can model a highly realistic human or non-human head, and then animate it, using the existing libraries of facial expressions and automated lip-synch. Any model produced in the program is ready to speak and perform. More than that, all library animations, and most of those you&#8217;d create yourself, are model-independent. This means, if you transfer the source muscles to your own model and import it to LIFESTUDIO:HEAD, you&#8217;ll be able to use automated lip-synch as well as any animation sequences created for other characters.</p>
<p>The package comprises all the features and components of the Artist package, and also the Muscles Setup plug-ins for both 3ds Max and Maya. Using these plug-ins for 3ds max and Maya you can pre-produce a unique model and import it to LIFESTUDIO:HEAD, or enhance a model created in LS:HEAD with new components (such as hair meshes, hats, glasses, shoulders etc.) or animated details just adding a few animation muscles to the default prototype (for example animate hair, collar etc.). The models and animations created in LIFESTUDIO:HEAD Pro can be exported to 3ds max and Maya projects, or key frames can be saved as meshes in OBJ format, or saved as images in TGA formats, or rendered as AVI movies with backgrounds.</p>
<p>What you can do with LIFESTUDIO:HEAD Pro</p>
<p>- Use any head created in 3ds max and Maya or adjust a model created from a prototype in Editor.<br />
- Embed animation controls in 3ds Max and Maya using Muscles Setup plug-in.<br />
- Export the head as GDP file to allow facial animation.<br />
- Animate the head (including lip-synch) within Editor.<br />
- Export head file (GDP), and attach it to body in 3ds max and Maya with the help of Import/Export plug-in.<br />
- Play any facial animation created in Editor (files MMS and MMA) along with the skeleton animation. No OBJ file is needed to import animation from Editor.<br />
- Render the scene in 3ds max and Maya.<br />

<p>  Now you can add true 3 dimensional atmospheric falloff in After Effects.  No more adding\ semi-<br />
  transparent solids between your 3D layers to simulate fog or haze.  With Atmosphere you  get<br />
  true three dimensional fog that gets denser as your layer stretches into the distance.</p>
<p>  Use it with multiple layers separated in Z space or rotate your 3D layers on the X or Y axis and<br />
  watch them fade off into the distance.</p>
<p>  This effect can be added to individual layers for fine control of the effect on each layer or applied<br />
  to an entire comp so the effect applies the same parameters to all layers.  You have control over<br />
  where the fog starts and ends as well as how dense it is and how quickly it falls off.</p>
<p>  The only other way to simulate this effect is with elaborate particle generators which add render<br />

Do you often find yourself spending a lot of time to rearrange charts generated by pelting or do you need to modify UV maps because the proportions of the UV space or the size of the required padding have changed?<br />
UV-Packer does it with a single click of a button.<br />
It can also rescale the separate UV charts depending on the mesh surface area to even out the pixel distribution across different parts of the mesh.</p>

Wax masters are used in the casting process for sculptures and jewelry making, and in this lecture, Josh carves a low-relief belt buckle that he later has cast in silver. Using a modern version of this traditional medium and utilizing the subtractive techniques of traditional carving can be a powerful tool for maximizing accuracy and efficiency. Using common hand and power tools Josh demonstrates simple relief carving from the rough cut-out to identifying low points, shaping, beveling and adding wax to create new elements to your sculpture. This DVD is a useful fundamental process for sculptors of all levels.</p>

<p>When it comes to creating high-quality wireframe renderings of your objects there’s the contour rendering option in mental ray. Unfortunately this feature will only render polygonal geometry. What if you need a high-quality wireframe rendering of your NURBS geometry?<br />
This is where CoNtoURBS comes into play. It combines a Maya plug-in with a custom mental ray shader. Its setup cannot be easier than: select your NURBS object, create the complete setup via the plug-in, render! The images show the difference between the Maya viewport preview and the CoNtoURBS shader.</p>
<p>The shader also supports trimmed surfaces and you can even override the span count in U and V direction without changing the object itself! CoNtoURBS allows for simple contour shading as well as using it in conjunction with every other more complex contour shader, e.g. contour_shader_depthfade, mental ray offers.</p>
<p>CoNtoURBS for mental ray for Maya works within Maya and in batch rendering.</p>

<p><strong>What is the Konstrukt plug-in?</strong></p>
<p>When it comes to the search for new shapes that no one ever before has encountered &#8211; Konstrukt will support and help you with that. Its Geometry Deformer works like an object magnet that can attach and project all kinds of geometry onto a NURBS surface. The projected geometry will stay modifiable. While being attached and floating across the base, the objects can easily be transformed like any other object. The common manipulators are provided to do so and ensure an interactive feedback.</p>
<p>Konstrukt creates random Voronoi diagrams on-the-fly. A 20.000 cell entity is usually done in under a second. A built in option can also transform these diagrams into Centroidal Voronoi Diagrams. How fast this transformation goes is entirely up to you. It’s all in the sliders. Voronoi diagrams* can be used to create a variety of shapes, e.g. cell-like structures, cracked and shattered objects, stained glass or other interesting objects that would be tedious to nearly impossible when tried to be modeled manually.</p>
<p>The Honeycomb module will do exactly what it says, it creates hexagonal structures. These are also highly configurable and very versatile.<br />
The Extended LiveWire is a consistent further development of the LiveWire feature found in the MultiTool. It enhancements are texture-driven variable insets that can be applied per-face or per-vertex.</p>
<p>Generize. Using a NURBS surface as base object and any kind of geometry (curves, surfaces, meshes) as template allows the artist for creating complex pattern-based objects that deform with their base shape. The image to the right was created using a simple sphere as base and only one template. The repetition along U and V across the base surface can be changed interactively in the scene. Generize offers a lot more, like texture-map driven scaling and distribution, Genotype::Phenotype support for blending between up to 4 different shapes, attractor support to create unique objects and much more.</p>
