In November, EA announced Strikeforce as the premier league in EA Sports MMA. This video showcases the authentic Strikeforce environment, as well as unique fighter entrances. Inside the cage, each fighter has a distinctive style that adds a new layer of depth and strategy to every matchup. Beyond Strikeforce, the title will also feature fight venues from across the world, complete with rules sets and environments authentic to each location. EA Sports MMA is scheduled for a late 2010 release.

Oxford, UK-based Rebellion confirmed layoffs at its Oxford headquarters alongside the closure of its Derby satellite office, after a period of consultation that began earlier this year. Metro 2033 Widescreen Fix Due Today

4A has announced the widescreen fix for Metro 2033 is due later today.

A recent tweet states that the patch, which will implement full widescreen support for the post-apocalyptic shooter, will be released today over Steam.

“PC players - a fix for the 'Black Screen' and Widescreen Support issues is coming via Steam later today.”

In other Metro 2033 news, the game will be made available to Steam pre-loaders in the UK at midnight tonight.
