A lady came through my check-out line at Wal-Mart in Dickson, TN and told me about making truffles with Oreo cookies. We  have done them ever since. The men and children in the family start requesting  them in October. I always make these the last of my Christmas baking and make at  least 5 batches. I buy all the ingredients but I use up the left over dried and  candied fruits from the other items to make up the 2 cups of chocolate pieces.

Note this is my personal answer. I do not imagine myself able to answer this question for any set "religion" or any other person.
I prefer to use the word "Creator" and will do so here. 
Creator is Supreme over all things in the Universe. Some of the Native American Nations or

I only read a few pages. I read enough to understand that the book had come out of an invitation to speak, along with others of differing belief systems, at a college. He was addressing a Humanities class and they had submitted a set of questions they wanted to be answered by each speaker.

So, I decided that I would just write a blog about myself.

I was born in Charlottesville, Virginia at Martha Jefferson Hospital. We only stayed for about two weeks and moved to Jacksonville, Florida. My Daddy fondly referred to Jacksonville as, "The Gateway to Hell."

3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 cups milk
2 cups cream (or undiluted evaporated milk)
2 teaspoons vanilla

In a medium saucepan beat eggs and milk. Add sugar mixing well.

Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. It should coat a metal spoon. This will take 10-12 minutes.

Cool. I cool mine by pouring into a mixing bowl and setting in freezer.

Add cream

2 cups sugar
6 Tablespoons Cocoa
1½ teaspoons cinnamon powder
½ cup milk
½ cup butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla
3 ¾ - 4 cups Oatmeal


In a medium saucepan mix the dry ingredients well. Stir in the milk very well. Add butter. Heat over medium heat to a boil, stirring constantly. Once it boils, boil for 2 full minutes.

Remove pan

I made several bead rings. These will be offered for sale at Pau Wau this year.  

My hubby's friend went with me to the paid storage building and we got the sewing machine, lots of cloth, and a few odds and ends.

We came back and straightened up the storage building here--hoping that will be a full fledged Craft Room by January--hint, hint Honey. (My birthday is in

Here's what I came up with and it's pretty good, even if it is me that's saying it!

Ingredients: 

2 6ounce cans tuna in water, drained
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 cups of dry small macaroni shells
1 small can mushrooms 
1 stalk of celery
½ of a large onion
Worcestershire Sauce
Paul Prudhome's Seasoning Salt New Orleans Blend®
