For most girls like me, hitting the mall entails purchasing a certain apparel or clothing. Hence, this day turned out to be different. I was just picking up a box!

Imagine the enticement and the anxiety flowing through my veins the moment I received an email from the team giving me a treat of their pre-launch product, *drum rolls Cookie Butter.

For those who have a sweet tooth, this would indeed be a weakness.

With a peanut butter ensemble for the first glance, it ironically tastes different. The original glazed doughnut topped with a cookie butter filling in full sweetness level! It's in the boundaries of nutty and buttery at the same time. Talk about being sinful.

Gone away are those days wearing girly flats and sandals and tried to went out of my comfort zone, sneaks.

Despite the sporty chic/ athletic vibe of the whole look, it's still me.

This outfit perfectly matches this day because I got to meet one of the country's most handsome basketball player, Chris Tiu.

The anticipation of a giddy day may seem to force a casual outfit to be necessary. Though not an avid fan of him, surely, fan girling days like these would mean wearing not just cute but comfy clothes as well.

Much away with all the sleepless, homeless nights apparently evident in these photos, I can say, I can still feel the aftermath of my junior life.

You may not notice it, but for some people who already know my life, you will see how I dressed up and looked differently here. These photos were taken at almost five in the afternoon and for everyone’s information, I just woke up and rushed to school.

Zero tolerance to aesthetics. My hair isn’t curled, no makeup on and totally underdressed! Well for my own perspective.

Taking up Mass Communication in Ateneo, third year is the most crucial year so far, as what everybody’s reminding and as what I kept on apologizing here in this blog.

It somehow gave me a glimpse of reality from chasing deadlines, endless write shops, research, expert interviews (police, government agencies, community, crime scene, families, politicians) to photo shoots, video shoots, video editing, performing, producing and events management. Name them, Masscom have them!

Now do I sound like a talking brochure? I bet I don’t, that’s how exhausting yet fun my course can be. Fun entails that no matter how weary things may fuck up, I will always be loyal since I know I enjoy what I do. Because one can never survive out of anything no matter how hard or easy it can be as long as his heart is never into it.

Besides my Journ hell adventure, there is this subject I would like to share to you that requires us (girls) to wear shorter skirts, killer heels I’m talking to the 5-inch minimum requirement, and luscious red lippies. Yes this subject is preparing us for our practicum.

This was the first event we need to organize and for the first time in history, our teacher approved all the four concepts. So what else we must do? Merge everything into one.

Sexy + Vegas + Colorful + Sleepover = Poof! Sexy in full color!

I had to make sure I showed some skin, pull out naughty games and a fun fun party all for the sake of our prelim grade!

So here it is, the “wholesome” Cham, ironically speaking.

Btw, I made this top months ago already and bought this bandage skirt for Php100 just that morning! Mehehe

Everybody knows I'm still a stud yet I'm able to pull off a decent corpo attire. Didn't I? Well in this case, let's coin it as simple instead since I'm waaaaay to far from entering the corporate world yet.

Power dressing, business attire, name it! I seriously don't have the guts of wearing these clothes everyday. I'm no lawyer nor a business woman just a plain blogger showcasing corporate attire inside the mall. And it worked!

Why stick with usual casual and preppy femme we usually try when we can actually wear something sophisticated and more mature?

Well there's nothing to worry because to begin with, Philippines never encounters any snow so that makes my florals excused. Isn't it?

Floral pants are indeed a refreshing substitute cutie Sunday dress!

Blaming my fat legs, I declare pants as my bestfriend since it satisfies my greatest desire to look taller giving an illusion of longer and slimmier legs. Thank God the skinny jean trends again in my teenage years that I was always dwarfed by the boot cut and oversized pants!

Luckily my pants perfectly matched my floral wedges too!

Happier Lemon

Originated in Hongkong, Happy Lemon is a famous tea cafe known for its unique and enticing milk tea drinks.

Its owners not just aim to serve the health benefits of milk tea but might as well offer the most refreshing and probably the most innovating ways to create ways through infusion of coffee, tea leaves, cocoa and lemon with the absence of preservatives and other artificial additives.

The franchise was brought to Manila by November 2010 by a group of friends who were graduates of Xavier and Ateneo and one of them was the hottest, Chris Tiu.

Upon observing the long queues and packed stores in China, the team was enticed to realize that Philippines might be ready to appreciate tea-based drinks.

The whole idea of the store is to create a happy ambiance, hence the yellow color, the retro hip design and the cute mascot prominently displayed outside the facade.

I've been a fan of milk teas. But Happy Lemon made it Happier Lemon just because they popularize the most delightful Rock Salt and Cheese series.

Currently, Happy Lemon has only one branch open in Davao and in the next few months, SM Lanang and SM Annex will join the fun.

So, are you guys ready for this?

Forgive me for being so MIA lately. I've been swamped with the fact that my course is getting more and more demanding and selfish. Kidding! I will always love my course despite that it often gets jealous it consumes my whole twenty four hours of breathing!

No I'm not exaggerating though since I'm referring to my never ending sleepless nights for the sake of our community newspaper! It even lemme forget myself that I lack time to cut my bangs, my nails

and my daily ritual: to curl my hair. Yes, I'm giving full description of ~~hell~~ Masscom life here.

Before, I tend to blog every six in the evening. This applies only if you noticed. That's the perfect time where you guys get to rush on your techies to hit the web, don't you? I even write everything I can, save it to drafts and schedule the time it needs to be published.

Now, I'm writing this at three in the morning and I don't care anymore whether anyone's still alive as long

as I knew I've sneaked a time for blogging.

Well anyways, I wish I could update you as prompt as I could.

If I'm not mistaken, this outfit was even worn more than three months ago.

I've owned this jacket for almost ages and finally had the guts to wear this with a perfect match: the pink dress. I tried to be rough on top then suggest femininity on the rest.

I tried to tone down colors by sticking only on one shade

maintaining the warm atmosphere of the outfit.

This day (hours and minutes left) marks the closing stages of the affluent year. ~~Despite the drama of the doomsday scare though HAHA~~

Unlike most fashion bloggers, I don’t have much to say about the events for the reason that I’m more focused on the events in my life that my readers didn’t much knew about and that’s my life behind blogging, school. Notice how I clearly post photos about school stuff and now you know where and how my time was mostly consumed. These photos didn’t even make a half of the photos I’ve took this year hence, these were the highlights.

I’ve loved, trusted, gained friends, lose some; in the end, I know I’m still blessed.

With the absence of these people, these photos wouldn’t be uploaded. And of course why should I ever forget my readers who have bestowed a fraction of their time just to read my blog and never failed to put me as a part of their hearts as well. I am beyond overwhelmed and grateful enough to have you!

This was the last Washday of the sem so what does a fashionista do? Well of course, make the most of it.

An average Atenean reader would generally ask: “is corset permissible inside the school premises?”

The answer is clearly seen on my photos. Yes you can, with a blazer of course and added with your long hair enough to cover your breasts.

That’s two tips in a row!

It had been two months since this event happened and I felt so guilty for having too many backlogs that I post a certain blogpost over a month late. Anyway, blame this subject (Journalism) for consuming most of my time so we surely looked forward this night given that it marked the end of it… Kidding! We’re taking up Advanced Journalism this semester, our last despair. Haha

Counting this as one of the most demanding subjects (gathering news from the police station, attending presscons and most probably, writing a lot), pressure is indeed present given that we have to chase deadlines. Well, the perk was having your article and name published on a newspaper when you do well and fortunately, my Kadayawan photo was published last September 2012 issue.

This night discovers the potential ones and I am lucky enough to be nominated as one of the Best Feature Writers. Even though I never bag any award, being part of the list was already enough.

We organized the event, divided by committees and came up with a Monochromatic theme (Well, obviously no colors were present except my hair. Lol). Considering this as a formal event, a fashion blogger like me would always aspire to stand out like overthinking something to wear, perhaps? Well in my case I used to make my own clothes for these kind of events soooo, what do you expect? Yes. I made my outfit.

With only the two colors given, I tried so hard to be different by expecting most of the guests would be in black so I ended up choosing the color white, went away for being fierce for a while and squeezed a few extracts of being an angel/ goddess feel once in a while. I mean, a sexy angel of course! Haha!

This proves the fashion statement: It’s all in the details!

HAHA. I’m not a baddass after all to tell you. Let’s just say some of us gained confidence of doing this thinking that this was the last day of class last semester (the day after the final exams) Talk about how late I've blogged this.

This was the day after the Gawad Pluma and WE NEED to go back to school for our Video Editing class’ so-called Premiere day, the showcasing of our short films.

This would be our last requirement to finish before we could finally shout hurrah for sembreak.

Count this as one of the days that I had “no effort” for my outfit. And when I say no effort, I meant the rush upon deciding for it.

You know you’re a Masscom student when your 11pm curfew is frequently violated, sleeping sched is habitually fucked up, your social life is occasionally deprived, your funds are eventually dying, your blog is often unavoidably forgotten and your life is getting worse and miserable.

For once I wanna scream like I’ve never screamed before and live like I’ve never ever lived. I wanted to push my life to its limits, I just wish I can.

Enough before I end up treating this as a reaction paper, unto my outfit. Well come to think of it, sometimes I can no longer think of a decent and well prepared outfit due to busy head. Haha

Today was our Humanities day with the kiddie theme. I and my two friends decided to dress up as Powerpuff Girls but unfortunately, we lack costumes. So I treated this day as one of my ordinary washdays instead. Coincidentally, I managed to pull off something wearable for the said event, talk about good fashion vibes ;)

Nothing beats Human Nature

I was invited last Human Nature's Magalogue Turnover (MTO) though I was not a dealer, but a blogger instead. Talk about perks *laughs

Nowadays when so-called "natural" products are already

emerging in the market, however the government does not put any action in monitoring these products. This makes it very hard for common costumers to distinguish whether the product is genuinely natural or chemically made appearing to have only a few extracts thrown in. Most specifically that this country acquires manufacturers (well of course, not all of them) that frequently do not list their used chemical ingredient on their labels if they don’t wanna let you know!

Sounds scary, eh?

Doncha worry because Human Nature guarantees everyone that their products are genuine by placing a natural seal on their labels which means that their products are biodegradable.

Just a short story, a funny incident occurred before I came over the place: I was lost! HAHAHA so I just got a few bits of info about this. Peace!

Anyway, thank you Human Nature for the Hair Serum! Will be posting my review about that product in my next posts. Stay tuned!

I know I know this is a late blogpost of what I wore last Forever 21 Fashion event here. I told you I had a number of backlogs. Haha

The moment I saw this dress from my friend ate Blu’s shop: The Honey Badger, I was never in doubts and immediately got it! Beginning from this dress, I’m starting to collect long sleeve dresses since it provides a conservative from the top and sleek and sexy beneath your legs. It helps elongate your legs at the same time it’s manageable at the top perfect for girls who were often conscious with their arms, cleavage and armpits.

And don’t you love the denim texture and the dress’ cut? It’s rough and edgy, away from my style but I definitely love it! And I’m pretty sure you do too.

Bistro Selera is a traditional Filipino bistro. Modern but not intimidating, this is the goal of the team behind Bistro Selera.

As you observe, most of their ingredients were really "Davao-ish" since they wanted a trademark that the food they serve was subject to make Davao food stand out not just in the country but also internationally.

Clearly, this is a Mindanao inspired resto with a touch of a avant-garde vibe inspired by the huge Mandaya painting inside. (Too bad I lack a photo of it)

The hands behind the kitchen of Bistro Selera carefully chose ingredients that will not just satisfy your taste buds but thoroughly study on their textures as well.

Despite that I'm youngest in the group, I was glad that I was able to appreciate the food but apparently, I'm not a dish lover.

Thank you Bistro Selera for the treat!

Indeed, tasting eighteen dishes in a row was never a joke!

Even drowning in appetizers is already a thumbs up.

Last washday or Wednesday, I was one of the lucky fashion bloggers in Davao who have been selected by the Brand itself for a sponsored shopping spree!

The international multi-brand store, Bauhaus originated in Hongkong and now brought in the Philippines. The store had a wide array of brands just like Salad (my personal fave), Jeansmith tough, Cheapmonday, La Creme, Superdry, Twistedmind and 80/20 all for men and women.

Bauhaus not just gave me the opportunity but also encouraged me to get out of my usual girly style and makes me wanna try rocking pieces too.

I bet I've already convinced you by photos but if you still aren't, why not visit the store this November 12-19 wherein you can fully witness loads of discount for yourself!

and I turned 19 last September 6 and this only proves that this blogpost was almost two months late! Pardon.

I tried to get away with my fashion adventure for once and went back to being "Cham" again and that being me never forget to embody ribbon, pink, laces or anything girly and doll-ish. For the first time in school I wore this dress I bought from one of my favorite clothing brand, Genevieve Gozum. This dress was indeed reserved for special days like this! Clap clap.

To create contrary and tension, I topped it off by wearing my grungy denim vest with my metal necklace. Those additional pieces indeed made my whole look surprising and with a twist. What do you think?

Masterpiece plus masterpiece; two powers combined, one legit phenomenon.

Another itchy hands of mine enabled me to make a jungle-inspired dress with Ralz San Pedro's magic hands in manipulating the camera. The result?

Great outfit and great photos, everything went perfect.

Pardon me for being having a wordy introduction and I bet I've already left you guys puzzled with what I'm talking about. This was not what you guys think. It's not even an awards night, nor a ball to really pull out a decent outfit to begin with. Would anyone expect that this was just an ~~ordinary~~ orientation program inside the school?

In order to be considered stylish, one is required to dress up appropriately and don't scold me for not dressing up properly because I just did. Annually, Ateneo de Davao is having an orientation program in every division they belong and in each division, it is highly encourage to put up a theme to make it sound more fun.

Luckily this year, our Humanities representative/ my close friend had the guts to pursue a Zoofari inspired program backed up by her very own division.

As blogger, of course I would definitely aspire to be the best but in a decent way. I never wished to look like a real animal of course.

Nowadays when leopard prints were just too mainstream, I decided to think of an animal that no one will ever think of wearing and my choice was peacock.

Did I achieve it?

Fortunately, I found a fabric containing an intricate peacock design on it and make it as my base color. I want to add some silhouette so I chose the color nude for my heels and my gown which also best matches my base color.

In addition, the accents and my accessories served as color pop in my whole entire outfit.

Why always search for reasons to dress up when you can do it everyday you wanted? But this time, it's something special. Who would not style get stylish when the birthday celebrant would be Ralston San Pedro?

To everyone who had no idea about this person yet, he is my fashion twin and one day, you'll gonna see his blog like mine. Watch out for that!

Anyway, unto my outfit. Everyone knew I'm always dressing up like a doll. However as this blog says, I can prove to you that I can really do everything!

Trying to pull up a bohemian outfit maybe hard, but at least I've experimenting.
