General Motors reported that Facebook was a useless avenue for advertising, GM pulls paid ads from Facebook “Just days before its IPO, Facebook had a big blow: General Motors Inc. has decided to pull all of its paid advertising, saying it's just not cost-effective.

Years ago, when I joined Facebook, I told them, I advised technical, if they did not create search engines systems for their contents, or if the contents on Facebook cannot be generated in search engines to people’s websites, like GM’s and mine, they’ll be GOOD as dead.

According to the Wall Street Journal, GM has been reviewing the effectiveness of its Facebook strategy since early this year. And while it's decided that it's worth keeping a presence on Facebook through its own pages, it says it's going to pull all its paid advertising.

"Executives determined their paid ads had little impact on consumers," it says.

It currently spends about $40 million per year on Facebook advertising, says the WSJ, or which Facebook itself gets about $10 million.

Even for Facebook, this is a lot of money: GM has been one of the company's biggest advertisers in the past. Facebook made around $872 million from advertising during the first quarter of this year, out of total revenues of $1.06 billion.

And with the IPO looming, it's a public relations disaster. Most investors are attracted by the idea that Facebook is going to be drawing in more advertising in future, not less. The danger is that other big advertisers will follow suit.

"Somehow Facebook still hasn’t stumbled upon a model that’s proven consistently successful for marketers, or that brings in the massive revenues to match the site’s massive user base," saysForrester analyst Melissa Parrish. "The reason, of course, is that Facebook just doesn’t pay nearly as much attention to marketing as it does to user experience."

And yes folks; General Motors is absolutely right! I am a political blogger, I put out the Marc Chamot Report, I have been blogging for over five years, and virtually every post that I post on Google Blogger blogs, I also post on Facebook, with 678 friends on Facebook! Not ever, not ever, if rarely I get traffic from Facebook onto my blogs.

I now average 1,200 readers a day on the Marc Chamot Report, and combined with my two blogs, I get over 1,600 daily readers combined. My main generating traffic is Google search engines, as you can see from my Google Analytic.

Not one! Not a single traffic unto my blogs was generated by Facebook throughout these years! And folks; with 678 friends on Facebook, not one, not a single friend cares enough to visit my blog on a regular basis?

All the contents on Facebook are totally wasted. After they disappear from their feed, it's all gone to never-land where no body ever sees them.

Who noticed Barack Obama’s remark in a sit-down interview with ABC's Robin Roberts, who says our troops, Marines, Army, Air force and the Navy, those service people, soldiers are all fighting on his behalf, Obama said “on my behalf,” instead of our behalf?

Folks, did we elect some kind of a king, or royalty here? That is very arrogant and very conceded thing to say as president. Those troops, our prized soldiers are fighting and dying on our behalf, not for our self appointed and delusional grand master Hussein Barack Obama.

Do you all remember that big jerk and show-off, outside linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys in the seventies named Thomas Hollywood Henderson? Well, we’ve got a new king of Hollywood in Barack Hussein Obama.

Not only he’s the out of the closet gay Barack Obama, he’s Hollywood too.

"I've always been adamant that gay and lesbian Americans should be treated fairly and equally," Obama told Roberts, in an interview that will air in full on ABC's "Good Morning America" Thursday.

"I have to tell you that over the course of several years as I have talked to friends and family and neighbors when I think about members of my own staff who are in incredibly committed monogamous relationships, same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together, when I think about those soldiers or airmen or Marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained, even now that Don't Ask Don't Tell is gone, because they are not able to commit themselves in a marriage, at a certain point I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married,"

President Obama also endorsed marriage between homosexuals on national TV, trashing our common traditions of marriages between man and woman. But no sooner Obama endorsed ‘gay marriage,’ money, and checks began pouring in from Hollywood! His chief fundraiser George Clooney got him millions!

Somehow a Texas jailbird got into West Virginia’s presidential primary. The inmate, Keith Judd, is serving time at the Federal Correctional Institution in Texarkana, Texas, for making threats at the University of New Mexico in 1999. Obama received 59 percent of the vote to Judd's 41 percent.

Against Obama, even a jailbird gets some votes “Just how unpopular is President Barack Obama in some parts of the country? Enough that a man in prison in Texas got 4 out of 10 votes in West Virginia's Democratic presidential primary.

For some West Virginia Democrats, simply running against Obama is enough to get Judd votes. "I voted against Obama," said Ronnie Brown, a 43-year-old electrician from Cross Lanes who called himself a conservative Democrat. "I don't like him. He didn't carry the state before and I'm not going to let him carry it again."

When asked which presidential candidate he voted for, Brown said, "That guy out of Texas."

Judd got on the state ballot by paying a $2,500 fee and filing a form known as a notarized certification of announcement, said Jake Glance, a spokesman for the Secretary of State's office.

Attracting at least 15 percent of the vote would normally qualify a candidate for a delegate to the Democratic National Convention. But state Democratic Party Executive Director Derek Scarbro said no one has filed to be a delegate for Judd. The state party also believes that Judd has failed to file paperwork required of presidential candidates, but officials continue to research the matter, Scarbro said.

Voters in other conservative states showed their displeasure with Obama in Democratic primaries last March.

In Oklahoma, anti-abortion protester Randall Terry got 18 percent of the primary vote. A lawyer from Tennessee, John Wolfe, pulled nearly 18,000 votes in the Louisiana primary. In Alabama, 18 percent of Democratic voters chose "uncommitted" in the primary rather than vote for Obama.

Obama's energy policies and the Environmental Protection Agency's handling of mining-related permits have incurred the wrath of West Virginia's coal industry.

With the state the nations second-biggest producer of this fossil fuel, Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin and Sen. Joe Manchin —both Democrats have championed the industry — have declined to say whether they will support Obama in November. Each overcame low-profile opponents in Tuesday's primary. Manchin refused afterward to say whether he voted for Obama.

Hillary Rodham Clinton beat Obama handily in the state's 2008 primary and he lost the state to Republican John McCain in the general election.

The latest state-by-state Gallup poll, released in January, found Obama with a 32.7 percent approval rating in West Virginia. The president had a lower approval rating only in Utah, Idaho, Oklahoma and Wyoming.

"Keith Judd's performance is embarrassing for Obama and our great state," outgoing West Virginia GOP Chairman Mike Stuart said.

Brown, the Cross Lanes electrician, did not know of Judd's background when he voted. He went to the polls before his 22-year-old daughter, Emily. She planned to vote for Judd, too, until she found out where he has been living. "I'm not voting for somebody who's in prison," she said. She was certain about one thing: "I just want to vote against Barack Obama."

This shows how Obama far Obama has fallen electorally since 2008. 8 million differences in votes to McCain’s, I just don’t see How Barack Obama can make it into another term, with those horrific numbers? I still believe, Obama will be wiped off the map in 2012. Electoral backlashes, the waves are coming back, no, it’s going to be an electoral tsunami over Hussein Barack Obama in 2012.

On his same sex marriage approvals, what was Barack Obama thinking? Most of the states that Obama needs to win electoral votes are from battleground states, which staunchly don’t support nor approve of same sex marriages in high margins.

North Carolina-A political rule of thumb: You don’t want to be on the wrong side of an issue supported by 6-in-10 voters. But that’s where the president is in North Carolina, where a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage passed Tuesday by 61 percent to 39 percent. Just 7 of the state’s 100 counties opposed the ballot measure.

North Carolina is no ordinary state. In 2012, it occupies a central location in the political universe – it’s not only a key swing state, it’s the place that will host the Democratic National Convention this summer. Obama won it in 2008, arguably his biggest reach on Election Night, and hoped accepting his re-nomination there would keep it in his column.

Florida-One day, gay marriage might be enshrined in law across the map. But it won’t be until after the current generation of senior citizens passes away. Not only do they oppose it by lopsided margins, they also vote in disproportionately high percentages.

Consider this fact about Florida, a state with an unusually large population of seniors. Four years ago, Barack Obama and an anti-gay marriage constitutional amendment shared the Florida ballot. Obama won the state narrowly, the amendment won by a landslide.

And the amendment won 600,000 more votes than Obama.

The president can still win re-election without Florida’s treasure trove of electoral votes. But he’d prefer not to risk it, which could be the side effect of a public affirmation of support for gay marriage in a state as competitive as Florida.

Colorado-The new capital of evangelicalism? No, it’s not in the South. It’s Colorado Springs, according to Christianity Today magazine, which once described the city as having “more mega churches, mega seminaries, and mega-Christian activity than any other American city.”

After Denver, Colorado Springs is the largest city in the most important state in the Mountain West – the city is bigger than Cleveland or Pittsburgh. Gay marriage is an issue that resonates there among Christian conservatives and it’s the kind of issue that can get evangelical voters very enthusiastic about the prospect of voting for Mitt Romney.

The evidence of that came in 2006, when Colorado voters passed an amendment to outlaw gay marriage – a measure strongly supported by the Colorado Springs-based Focus on the Family. While the state voted in favor of the constitutional amendment, 55 percent to 45 percent, in Colorado Springs’ El Paso County the numbers were far greater — 66 percent voted for the measure. More pro-amendment votes were cast there than in any other county in the state.

Colorado is the kind of place that helps Team Obama sleep a little more soundly at night, because it’s a hedge in case Florida flips back Republican, or Ohio or Virginia drifts back to red. Any leg-up for Romney there would be bad news back in Chicago.

Nevada-Utah may be the LDS heartland, but Nevada ranks among the top 5 states in terms of percentage of Mormon population. And the LDS church opposes gay marriage.

While Mormons aren’t a significant Democratic constituency — and especially not with Romney in the race — it’s best not to antagonize any constituency in a swing state like Nevada, where the presidential outcome in 2000 and 2004 was decided by less than 25,000 votes.

“Overall in Nevada, it hurts. To what degree is hard to determine,” said Pete Ernaut, a former GOP state legislator and a confidant of Gov. Brian Sandoval. “The issue here is about a toss-up, with voters about evenly split. But that said, there are key constituencies affected by this, most notably Mormon voters – and specifically Democratic Mormon voters – and that is going to be a difficult issue for the president.”

Iowa-In 2009, the Iowa Supreme Court made history with its unanimous decision to allow same-sex marriage.

One year later, Iowa voters made history again by ousting three of the justices who handed down that ruling.

The backlash was as extreme as it sounds: their removal from the high court was the first time an Iowa Supreme Court justice wasn’t retained in nearly a half-century.

And the issue echoed through the 2010 governor’s race as well. Republican Terry Branstad argued that the court was wrong to strike down the state law banning same-sex marriage and advocated a constitutional amendment to re-institute the ban. His Democratic opponent, Gov. Chad Culver, disagreed on the idea of putting the court decision to a vote.

Culver lost his re-election bid, though not solely because of his position on same-sex marriage. Still, it didn’t help him, and that’s the risk Obama takes there. Obama and Iowa go way back — he’s president today because he dealt Hillary Clinton a third-place finish there in the 2008 caucuses — but it’s a state where just one percentage point divided the presidential nominees in 2000 and 2004.

Missouri-There are many Democrats who already concede Missouri is a lost cause for Obama in 2012, even though he only lost to John McCain there by a razor-close margin in 2008.

Wednesday’s announcement only makes the situation worse. In a state where there’s no room for error, the president has taken a position that places him at odds with 71 percent of the state – at least that’s the percentage that voted to ban gay marriage when it was on the ballot in 2004.

There’s a very good chance that number has eroded since then. But not enough for it to be an asset, in a state where Obama’s strength in St. Louis, Kansas City and some surrounding suburbs is counterbalanced by the parts of the state that sit squarely in the Bible Belt.

Ohio-It’s often said that the 2004 gay marriage initiative that passed in Ohio played a key role in lifting George W. Bush to victory over John Kerry. Whether that’s true or not – Bush strategist Matthew Dowd argued Wednesday that it’s not – it’s an issue that resonates outside of Democratic vote centers like Columbus and Cleveland.

In 2004, here’s how state GOP chairman Robert Bennett framed it to the New York Times. “I’d be naïve if I didn’t say it helped,” he said. “And it helped most in what we refer to as the Bible Belt area of southeastern and southwestern Ohio, where we had the largest percentage increase in support for the president.”

Recent polls continue to show that a majority in Ohio oppose gay marriage, compared to only about one-third of voters who support it. And, as POLITICO reported Wednesday, when Vice President Joe Biden privately argued for the president to refrain from expressing his support, he flagged two states where there could be a backlash — his native Pennsylvania and Ohio.

I think that most of America wants to see Obama thrown out on his butt from the White House, and then maybe, we’ll have the opportunity to prosecute Eric Holder for crimes committed during his tenure as U.S. Attorney General.

Joe Arpaio is the only one that has the guts to stick up for America, while corruptive, Eric Holder wants to corrupt it, by going against whites and Hispanics for hate crimes and ignoring hate crimes coming from blacks on white and Latinos.

Hey Joe! You've got more supporters, than that Kenyan, Hussein Barack Obama and his crooked cronies.

Oh Yeah, we’ll remember this November, I am not demanding, I expect Mitt Romney’s new justice department, to prosecute Holder and his cronies for Fast & Furious, and other crimes perpetrated under his department. And let Joe Arpaio do the arrests.

The Justice Department Has Had It with Sheriff Joe

The Justice Department has been threatening since at least December to sue Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio for civil rights violations against Latinos if he and his officers didn't clean up their act, and on Thursday the feds finally did. The best early reporting on the suit comes from Talking Points Memo's Ryan J. Reilly who quotes from the complaint which make Sheriff Joe and his deputies sound like a pack of jingoists:

DOJ’s suit, filed in the District of Arizona, accuses jail officials of referring to Latinos as “wetbacks,” “Mexican bitches,” and “stupid Mexicans.” The suit says Arpaio “voiced his biased opinion of Latinos and Latino culture” in a book he coauthored in 2008.

“Arpaio singles out Mexicans and Latinos as different from all other immigrant groups in America,” the complaint says. “For example, Arpaio states that Latinos maintain ‘language [,] customs [and] beliefs separate from the mainstream,’ and are trying to “reconquest” American soil through migration to the United States.

Reuters also has some thorough early reporting, including quotes from Arpaio's statement responding to the DOJ charge: "I do not tolerate racist attitudes or behaviors. We at the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office do not foster a 'culture of cruelty." There's also more in the Reuters report from the suit's allegations:

"Latinos in Maricopa County are frequently stopped, detained, and arrested on the basis of race, color or national origin," the suit said. "In addition, defendants MCSO (Maricopa County Sheriff's Office) and Arpaio pursue a pattern or practice of illegal retaliation against their perceived critics by subjecting them to baseless criminal action, unfounded civil lawsuits or meritless administrative actions."

Arpaio has always been an outspoken critic of easing immigration policy, and he's a big-time birther, both of which has endeared him to the Newsmax crowd. But the Justice Department sees a problem in the apparent racial profiling it found in his department, and has been trying to force him to change its practices through negotiations since its report was released in December. Last month, the department said Arpaio was negotiating in bad faith, which meant the only alternative was the lawsuit, which it has now finally filed.

One of President Obama’s good old friends, the illegal alien, apparently one in Petaluma California, who was armed to the teeth, came out blazing with gun fire when ICE agent knocked on his door.

Three ICE Agents were shot and wounded. ICE, along with the Petaluma police, and with Homeland Security, were all involved in a heated gun battle with a criminal illegal alien, while executing an arrest warrant.

This criminal illegal alien happened to be armed to the teeth, folks. We need an American president that’s though and one that wants to seriously secure our borders too. However, the illegal immigrant survived the gunfire and was arrested.

Folks, the truths, these are Obama’s friends, illegal aliens who Obama wants to give amnesty to. A good many of them are criminals and we need to get rid of them through arrests and self deportations, by shutting out job opportunities that Obama and Democrats refuse to do.

In the city of San Francisco, everywhere you look, there are anchor babies everywhere. We need an American president that enforces the nation’s illegal immigration laws, not one that keeps pandering to them like Barack Hussein Obama for votes!

I’ll be honest with you. With Barack Obama as president, its green lights on white folks, and he’s using the Feds to go after white people who attack blacks. But he stays very silent when black mobs attacks white folks. Oreven as black teens poured gasoline on a white teen and set him on fire.

Yeah, we’ve got a real race problem on our hands. When Barack Hussein Obama said that ‘Trayvon Martin could have been his son’, he inadvertently set racism and violence in motion in this country. Instead of going ahead on race relations, were going back!

Hey, I'm not racist, maybe you are, but after seeing this video assault of a white man, maybe some people really behave like animals? So, innocent white folks have to pay for the sins of their fathers? It's almost like criminalizing children for what their parents do!

Race pimps like President Barack Hussein Obama, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson started something really big, over the Trayvon Martin self-defense killing, a race war.

I sat here for the past three weeks, seeing innocent white folks being assaulted across the country by Blacks over the Trayvon Martin fiasco. There were no responses or apologies from president Obama, or none from the mainstream Medias.

We’ve sat back and witnessed NBC alter videos and tapes, to make George Zimmerman guilty as a hate crime monger towards blacks, so as to stir up violent racial conflicts across the country.

We’ve stood by listening to all anti-white hate speeches coming from black racists, including President Obama on the Trayvon Martin incident. We sat by, seeing the New York Time calling George Zimmerman a ‘White Latino.'

Unfortunately, some folks who have some screws loose in the head finally bought it. Apparently, some angry white folk have started striking back!

Sadly, because of the Trayvon hate mongering going on around the nation, and white victims being assaulted because of Trayvon, and without a snivel and apologies from this president, three innocent black men in Tulsa Oklahoma were shot and killed at random.

So sadly, now in Oklahoma, supposedly a white guy has been driving around and shot 5 blacks in a span of two hours, three killed and two wounded.

Homicide detective Sgt. Dave Walker said investigators don't have the results of forensic tests yet, but police think the early Friday morning shootings are linked because they happened around the same time in the same general area and all five victims were out walking when they were shot.

Police don't believe the victims knew one another and are trying to determine the circumstances behind the killings.

All five victims are black, and black community leaders met Friday evening in an effort to calm unrest and promote safety. NAACP Tulsa president, the Rev. Warren Blakney Sr., told the Tulsa World someone appeared to be "targeting black people to shoot."

"I'm on edge for my people," Blakney said.

Four shooting victims were found in yards, and the fifth in a street. Police identified those killed as Dannaer Fields, 49, Bobby Clark, 54, and William Allen, 31. Fields was found wounded about 1 a.m. Friday, Clarke was found in a street about an hour later, and Allen was discovered in the yard of a funeral home about 8:30 a.m.

Minutes after Fields was found, police found two men with gunshot wounds in another yard two blocks away. They were taken to hospitals in critical condition but expected to survive, police said. Their names have not been released.

Police Capt. Steve Odom said in his 30 years with the police department, he'd never seen so many shootings happen in such a short time.”

Of course as always, President Obama is sending the FBI to investigate a ‘white’ on black crimes, but never on the reverse; FBI Probes Tulsa Shootings as Possible Hate Crimes “Local and federal investigators are searching for a lone white male in a pickup truck who went on a shooting spree in Tulsa, Okla., early Friday morning, killing three pedestrians.

Five black males were shot, three fatally, in four separate incidents during a span of less than two hours on the same side of town and not far from one another, police said. Two males were critically wounded in the shooting spree. All of the victims were targeted while they were out walking.

The suspect is reported to be white, but the crimes have yet to been deemed racially motivated. The task force’s job will be to determine whether federal hate crime laws were violated, Tulsa World reported.

The FBI and the U.S. Marshals are assisting in the investigation.”

Two South Korean nationals, and very serious killings at 2 U.S. colleges. It's time for action:

First, there was that Virginia Tech massacre, that was a school shooting that took place on April 16, 2007, on the campus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia, United States.

In two separate attacks, approximately two hours apart, the perpetrator, Seung-Hui Cho, killed 32 people and wounded 25 others[1] before committing suicide. The massacre is the deadliest shooting incident by a single gunman in U.S. history.

[2] It was also the worst act of mass murder on college students since Syracuse University lost 36 students in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103.[3] It is also the second-deadliest act of mass murder at a school campus, behind the Bath School bombingof 1927.

Seung-Hui Cho [1] ( /ˌ tʃ oʊ s ʌ ŋ ˈ h iː /; January 18, 1984 – April 16, 2007) was a senior-level undergraduate student at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University who killed 32 people and wounded 25 others on April 16, 2007, in the shooting rampage which came to be known as the "Virginia Tech massacre."[2][3]

Cho later committed suicide after law enforcement officers breached the doors of the building where the majority of the shooting had taken place. Cho's body is buried in Fairfax, Virginia.

Born in South Korea, Cho arrived in the United States at the age of 8 with his family. He became a US permanent resident as a South Korean national.[4][5][6] In middle school, he was diagnosed with a severe anxiety disorder known as selective mutism, as well as major depressive disorder.

[7] After this diagnosis he began receiving treatment and continued to receive therapy and special education support until his junior year of high school. During Cho's last two years at Virginia Tech, several instances of his abnormal behavior, as well as plays and other writings he submitted containing references to violence, caused concern among teachers and classmates.”

And then we’ve got yet another South Korean national nutcase, involved in the murders of 7 other students and faculty members at the Oikos School of Nursing in Oakland California.

One Goh, the 43-year-old Korean-American man suspected in the execution-style shooting deaths at a small Christian college in California, seemed a doting son visiting his parents in senior housing.

But at the same time, he was capable of displaying unbridled anger at the school, according to police and others who had contact with him.

The portrait of Goh emerging one day after six women and one man were shot to death at Oikos University in Oakland is of someone who felt he was "teased" and "picked on" at the college, which eventually expelled him, possibly for poor behavior, police said.

Is it time for our government to protect us from killer immigrants by requiring psychological tests on them? Absolutely! it is time to say NO, to killer immigrants!

It seems this country is beginning to have foreign nut jobs coming here and doing us a lot of harm, they go as far as killing. Let us push for our U.S. congress to include comprehensive psychological testing for all foreigners and primarily for those coming here for schooling andlet us begin with these nutty South Koreans first!

My family won't convey this message to you, so I will.

Back around 1986, my favorite and only sister Helene died in a small airplane crash. There was no question that my only sister and favorite of all siblings would be memorized in this blog posting. My sister Helene is gone; it’s been almost thirty-years.

But now, I’ve got someone truly special. Someone back around 1996, when she was born took the name of my only and favorite sister, Helene. Sadly as it is, I haven’t been there for my daughter Helene. I grew up separated, I was into alcoholism, I never had the opportunity, to tell my daughter Helene, how much I really loved her.

She was three when I saw her last, and now this precious child is fifteen or sixteen. Yes, it’s been that long since I have seen you. I have missed you growing up to. I am sorry to the details as to what happened, between your mother and me but will tell you later, but Helene, it was never about you.

I didn’t abandon you, I left your mother. Maybe it was wrong for me to do it, my dear little Helene.

For the past ten years, you’d never seen me with my heart all torn-up full of grief and sorrow about not being with you. I would see other daddy’s with their little daughters, and then I would sadly ask myself, where my sweet precious Helene? What happened to me?

Helene, I just want you to know, your daddy Marc loves you so much. If you find it in your heart to forgive me someday, I hope you do. We may not make up for our lost earlier days, but we could be happy in the later years, while I still have some of my health.

Helene, I just want to tell you. I am here for you, as soon as I can, I will provide things that I wasn’t able to. I will try to become your father, a father that I should have been in the first place. Helene, please, I don’t want you to think you never had a father, you did have one, maybe to irresponsible and weak, nor strong enough to have been there for you in the past.

Tyler Brehm was a media and national story, he lost his rights as a private citizen, when he walked down a street in Hollywood, firing his gun at people, until the cops shot him dead. He lost his private citizen's libel protections when he committed the crime.

In regards to you, you were mentioned by the news Medias and hundreds of blogs and I reported about you, exactly what was mentioned by the Media, however, I brought up the case of you being or want to be a model, through ModelMayhem, which is true, and those are the facts that will never change. This is a political blog; I don’t usually write about nutcases who go on rampage. What I found pretty sneaky curious, in the world of Internet.

Every time one hears about some atrocious crime being committed by some perpetrator, their Facebook page is usually the first to go, get deleted or disappear, into the never land of Cyberspace.

But somehow, this Hollywood shooter, that lovesick and despondent guy; well holly-and-behold! His freaking Facebook page was still around! No kidding! It’s Hollywood alright; they enjoy all the publicity they can get. But what’s most fascinating of all, it’s what one can dig up these days on the Net.

And sometimes things aren’t pretty. Everybody is speculating about what actually triggered the Hollywood gunman, Tyler Brehm, to walk down the street and shoot at people.

Actually, have you all seen that video of his half-hazardless way of shooting at people? Yeah. Go take another look, because Tyler Brehm didn’t look too serious about wanting to kill anybody. It seemed like he was screaming for attention, and regardless his motives, he got it and he’s dead now.

As vehicles were passing by, he slowly moved the pistol up and down without aiming at anything and took pop-shots towards vehicles driving by. Any experienced gunman, who’s really serious about hurting people, he could have certainly done a lot more damage.

According to Tyler Brehm’s Facebook page, there was one thing that struck me as odd.

There was one entry in there that struck me as strange. After the part on December 6^th, when Tyler Brehm says, went from being “in a relationship” to “single.”

There was an odd entry that kind of surprised me. It came from one of his friends and commenter Elena Matveeva, on December 6that 10:27 pm, with a simple wtf???

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that Elena Matveeva was pretty ticked off by the comment. And since then, there were no more entries in Facebook.

I’m not going to speculate here, he may have ruined two relationships, not one. His former girlfriend Alicia Alligood, mentioned about another woman when she broke up with Tyler.

I am not going to go any further on this issue, I’ll let gossip magazines do it, because that’s what they are good for, and they’ve got a whole lot more money than I do to withstand a lawsuit. But that “wtf???” bothers me a lot, and keeps gnawing at me.

To my biggest surprise; Tyler’s former girlfriend, the one he recently broke up with, Alicia Alligood is a an aspiring model!

Actually, and really, she’s got a page on Model Mayhem. Oh yeah! And she’s isn’t bad looking either.

I do not know how thriving is her modeling career, but I guess it might just get a little better after all the publicity of this nightmare.

Obviously, there was a whole lot of jealousy, and anger, in Tyler Brehm behind the break-up. When I was younger, in my good-looking days, I know how much it hurts, with heart-breakers like Alicia Alligood.

Bloggers around are very concerned about recent events on a federal judge’s ruling, calling bloggers are not protected people, under general Media journalistic shield laws.

Bloggers are too concerned by this ruling, but they shouldn’t be. It’s because, under those same conditions, and even protected journalists under shield laws, would have been sued for defamation of character just the same.

This attorney was not a public figure, and the blogger in question who was sued, should have known better, than calling someone an unsubstantiated ‘thug’ and ‘thief’ over the Internet.

The lawyer in question sued his former client for defamation of character, who happened to be an established blogger. Had the judge ruled journalistic protections for the blogger, this blogger was still liable for defamation of character regardless.

Even though Crystal was very angry at her former attorney, and according to her opinion, her angry rants were based on shoddy legal work she had received. Regardless, unless she was writing about John Gotti, or any other incarcerated felons, or even Blago, and she had no business calling anyone on the Internet, a ‘thug’ and a ‘thief.’

Crystal L. Cox had every right to vent her beefs towards the lawyer on the Internet, and however, she could have stated her version of the story by having proof available to back up her story, if the contract was broken, by using different methods. It would have been safer to use the indirect approach in writing, rather than the direct one. It could have been equally as effective.

She could have said, ‘I feel ripped off’ instead of calling the man a ‘thief.’ He didn’t accomplish or do what he promised, and she could have also said this lawyer was very aggressive, rude, and so forth, instead of calling him a ‘thug.’ It’s all about choices of words and making the right choice, before getting sued over what you say on the Internet.

Unproven direct accusations, can lead anyone towards serious and costly civil suits, and the saddest part of this, Crystal will suffer financially for the rest of her life because of those two words, she maliciously used. All could have been avoided, had she exercised good self control. And she should have given herself a day or two to cool down, before exposing someone, even a lawyer on the Internet.

Much to do about nothing; “a federal judge in Oregon has ruled that a Montana woman sued for defamation was not a journalist when she posted online that an Oregon lawyer acted criminally during a bankruptcy case, a decision with implications for bloggers around the country.

Crystal L. Cox, a blogger from Eureka, Mont., was sued for defamation by attorney Kevin Padrick when she posted online that he was a thug and a thief during the handling of bankruptcy proceedings by him and Obsidian Finance Group LLC.

U.S. District Judge Marco Hernandez found last week that as a blogger, Cox was not a journalist and cannot claim the protections afforded to mainstream reporters and news outlets.

The judge ruled that Cox was not protected by Oregon's shield law from having to produce sources, saying even though Cox defines herself as media, she was not affiliated with any mainstream outlet.

The lawyer sued Cox for defamation, a legal fight that is typically difficult for plaintiffs to win. Public figures, for example, must prove the defendant knew the statement in question was false, and the statement must be matters of public interest.

The judge found that Padrick was not a public figure, and that the bankruptcy case was not in the public interest. The ruling opened the way for a jury to award $2.5 million to Padrick and Obsidian.

The judge ruled that Cox was not protected by Oregon's shield law from having to produce sources, saying even though Cox defines herself as media, she was not affiliated with any mainstream outlet.

He added that the shield law does not apply to civil actions for defamation.”

Cox said she didn't have the money to pay the judgment, and that she intended to keep posting about the Summit bankruptcy case.

"My intensions are the highest and best," she said. "I know I am sometimes over the top or a little bit vulgar. But I encourage people not to listen to me or him but to look at the documents and make their own decision based on that."

Padrick said the case showed how vulnerable anyone was to someone with a computer. He said he has lost business from potential clients who search his name and firm through Google and find Cox's postings at the top of the list, adding that he has no way to remove them.

"If anyone can self-proclaim themselves to be media, the concept of media is rendered worthless," Padrick said. "When everyone is media, the concept of media is gone."

The judge ruled that Padrick and his company did not have to seek a retraction, as required by Oregon law, before claiming damages, because a blogger is not on the list of recognized media, which include newspapers, magazines, television and radio news, and motion pictures.

Padrick said he did not expect to collect much of the $2.5 million jury award, or to see his business fully rebound. He said his only consolation was that all eight jurors who heard the case believed he had been significantly harmed."

If you rely on Alexa.com to measure your blog’s SEO’s, or anyone else’s, watch out, it’s proven to be inaccurate. Their algorithm system is way out of whack; it’s once again proven to be inaccurate.

Sadly, most advertisers rely on their bunk of crap, but bloggers all over, are getting screwed on advertising dollars!

For quite sometimes, actually, for over two years that I’ve been blogging, I’ve been watching my Alexa.com stats eroding away. And I’ve been wondering, as to why Alexa.com is showing my blog traffic in decline, while Google analytics on Blogger is showing otherwise, the opposite? I’ve had steady growth throughout the years, but since I’ve been syndicated, I have lost that increase I used to have, I’ll admit it’s a little slower now.

Three years ago, Alexa.com had me rated at best, top 76,000 blogs in the U.S. and as high as 140,000 worldwide, and, get this! That was one year into my blog!

And now, three years later, when the Marc Chamot Report is well established, and numerous contents syndicated all over, and they’ve got me at horrid 1,963,827 in the world!

Google Blogger shows otherwise;

Alexa says, they measure blog traffic by people who have the alexa.com toolbar on their browsers, who actually access your blog.

However, most people I know, don't even know what Alexa is, and much-less having their freakin' toolbar on their browsers!

Well, I am not very happy about it, so I will voice my concern. However, syndications do hurt blog traffic, and there’s no question about it.

Klout is way more accurate, and they don’t measure your blog by traffic alone, but they also look at how influential you are through other means, such as Twitter, Facebook and Blogger.

Klout ranks you accordingly, unlike Alexa.com, who doesn’t have any WIDGETS in my blog, or anybody else’s to accurately measure yours and my TRUE blog traffic.

That’s where klout.com comes in. They measure your influence in other ways, other than who reads your blog. My klout page has me scored at 44 out of a possible 100 in web influence, and that’s with limited Facebook options that they haven’t finished!

And wait till they do search engines! Ay caramba! Just imagine what your stats would be then?

So, if you want to accurately measure, and see who’s really influential? Forget those phony Alexa.com stats, just go with klout!

This was a natural example since I own both sites and have access to the real traffic figures. Daily Writing Tips (as of today) has an Alexa rank of 91059. Daily Blog Tips has a rank of 112363. The Alexa graph of the reach of both sites tell a similar story:

So if one was to trust Alexa, he would conclude that Daily Writing Tips is getting a lot more traffic than Daily Blog tips right? Wrong!

In fact it is exactly the opposite, Daily Blog Tips generates around 15,000 daily page views, while Daily Writing Tips only 8,000. The proportion of unique visitors is similar.

Now the interesting thing is that both Compete.com and Google Trends show a very similar traffic trend for those two sites, and one that is much closer to the real numbers.”

"The discoveries of two new bodies could bring to three the death toll from a Craigslist ad that police say lured victims into a lethal robbery scheme.

A body found Friday in a shallow grave near a mall in Akron may be that of a missing man who answered the ad, the FBI said. And a sheriff in a rural county said later in the day that the body of a white male without identification was found in a shallow grave about 90 miles away.

The FBI is working on the supposition that the body found near the Rolling Acres shopping mall in Akron may be that of 47-year-old Timothy Kern, who hasn't been seen in more than a week, agency spokeswoman Vicki Anderson said.

"do we think it might be? Maybe," Anderson said. "He's missing. We haven't been able to find him. It could possibly be, but we just don't know that yet."

Anderson declined to specify how authorities discovered the body.

Kern, of Massillon, answered the same ad for a farm hand that authorities say led to the shooting death of Norfolk, Va., resident David Pauley, 51, in a rural area south of Akron. A South Carolina man reported answering the ad and being shot Nov. 6 but escaping.

Noble County Sheriff Steve Hannum is under a judge's gag order and can't comment on the case, but the title of his emailed announcement late Friday -- "second body" -- implied the discovery was connected with Pauley's death.

Neighbors where Pauley's body was found last week and the second body was found Friday said police had been in the area and a helicopter had been overhead most of the day but the scene was quiet late in the day.

Two people from the Akron area are in custody: a high school student who has been charged with attempted murder and 52-year-old Richard Beasley, who is in jail on unrelated charges.

Beasley's mother has said he has "a very caring heart" and she prays that newspaper reports he is a suspect are wrong.

FBI agents have contacted people to check on their well-being, FBI spokesman Harry Trombitas said Friday in an email.

One was Heather Tuttle, of Ravenna, who applied for the job Oct. 7 but never got a response. She had forgotten about the posting until an FBI agent called and left a message for her Monday.

When she called back, she was stunned at what the agent told her.

"It could have been me," said Tuttle, 27, who has since taken work as an assistant manager at a gas station.

"When the situation was explained to me, it just instantly made me sick and made me realize how lucky I am that I didn't get a response back," she said.

Another man who responded to the ad has said he met Beasley at a food court at a different mall in the Akron area on Oct. 10. Ron Sanson was told the man was looking for an older, single or divorced person to watch over a 688-acre (280-hectare) farm in southeast Ohio -- the kind of man, Sanson said, whose disappearance might not be quickly noticed.

Sanson and Kern are both divorced. So was Pauley.

Kudos to Alabama! Most Americans are getting FED-Up with illegal immigration's. According to recent Newsmax.com polls, out of 126,476 poll takers, 78% don’t support President Obama’s amnesties for illegal immigrants, and most want tougher legislation towards rampant illegal immigration in this country.

It's basically like this; the U.S. Supreme Court have said, if immigration laws are on Federal books, states have every right to enforce them, whether the Feds do or not.

There’s no question that recent Supreme Court’s rulings, upholding Arizona’s anti-illegal immigrants hiring employers and E-Verify laws, was a big blow for Obama Feds on being able to fend off states from pursuing their own enforcements of Federal laws, that Feds aren’t in compliance on enforcing.

Numerous polls have shown that majority of American voters, support Arizona’s get tough on illegal immigrants as well as Alabama’s new stricter policies.

“The measure will require public schools to determine the citizenship status of students -- a provision not included in an Arizona law that has been at the forefront of actions by several states to curb illegal immigration.

Under the Alabama law, police must detain someone they suspect of being in the country illegally if the person cannot produce proper documentation when stopped for any reason.

It also will be a crime to knowingly transport or harbor someone who is in the country illegally. The law imposes penalties on businesses that knowingly employ someone without legal resident status. A company's business license could be suspended or revoked.

The law, which is scheduled to take effect September 1, requires businesses to use a database called E-Verify to confirm the immigration status of new employees.

"We have a real problem with illegal immigration in this country," Bentley said after signing the law. "I campaigned for the toughest immigration laws, and I'm proud of the Legislature for working tirelessly to create the strongest immigration bill in the country."

Even though liberals and pro-illegal immigrant groups are calling this law racist, I’m calling it our right to protect our sovereignty, over mass invasions of UNWANTED visitors from the South of the border, who we have to help fund their ‘FREE’ medical, education and welfare, and not counting all the JOBS they steal and lower wages!

If you’re unemployed, there's no NEED to apply. If you’ve been unemployed for a while, and if you are wondering why you’re not getting hired by now, here’s a reason. American employers are wantonly discriminating against the unemployed!

According to U.S.A Today’s Telling the jobless not to apply is plain dopey “With an extraordinary 6.2 million Americans out of work for more than six months, the last thing a person without a job should have to worry about is blatant discrimination against people without jobs. But that's just what has been happening. Businesses across the USA are warning in their want ads that the jobless need not apply.

One prominent example surfaced last year, when mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson announced that it was relocating its headquarters — with 180 new jobs — to an Atlanta suburb. A posting for a marketing/public relations job read, in part, "No unemployed candidates will be considered at all." Under fire, Sony Ericsson blamed a recruiter and quickly pulled the exclusion.

But similar ads are cropping up in job postings for everything from restaurant managers to forklift operators to medical device salespersons. An ad last month specified that a pet-sitting service in Woodbridge, Va., would only deign to consider pet-sitting assistants who were "temporarily unemployed," as if no dog could be subjected to a sitter whose skills were not utterly up to date.

Up-to-the-minute skills could be an asset. But knowledge isn't lost overnight. To exclude everyone without a job when nearly 14 million people are unemployed — and 427,000 filed new claims for jobless benefits last week — is just plain dumb.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has received so many complaints about bias against the jobless that officials consider it an "emerging issue." At a commission hearing in February, even industry representatives were hard-pressed to come up with a business necessity that would require such exclusion.

And meanwhile, two states are acting on their own to reverse the trend, a New Jersey law, which took effect June 1, make it illegal to exclude the unemployed in help-wanted ads and carries fines of up to $10,000 for repeated violations.

New Jersey Assemblyman Peter Barnes told us one reason he pushed for the measure was learning from his constituents that "to not have a job and then see an ad saying the 'unemployed need not apply,' breaks people's spirit." In New York, several lawmakers are pushing a measure that would prohibit employers from denying jobless applicants an interview or a job solely because solely they are unemployed.

Nearly everybody knows people with sterling résumés, great attitudes and top-notch skills who lost jobs through no fault of their own during the Great Recession. Hiring them is like bringing in fresh talent from the bench. To decide, without seeing a résumé or meeting them, that they're all losers does not speak well of a company's ethics or imagination.

While federal civil rights and age-discrimination laws do not specifically protect the unemployed, they do protect, among others, African Americans, Hispanics and workers 40 and older. If a policy affects any of those groups disproportionately, it might be illegal. With unemployment among some protected groups running much higher than the national rate of 9.1%, a policy that excludes jobless people might, in fact, be considered discriminatory.

Critics insist that the New Jersey law lacks teeth and that measures like New York's would only invite frivolous litigation. They miss the point. The value in such measures isn't to encourage hiring-discrimination lawsuits, which are notoriously difficult to win. The value is to give the unemployed a fair shot at earning a job rather than blithely and pointlessly writing them off.”

You know what folks? We don’t have to take this sitting down and it’s time to fight back! We need for someone to establish an Internet database, for us to expose American companies who hire illegal immigrants and for those who are actively discriminating against the unemployed. I am sure that attitudes will change very quickly.

Dealing with Morons: First of all, Japan is no joking matter! Anyone who pokes fun at Japan ought to be tarred, feathered and fired. There are some crazy Americans out there, who are coming up with their sorry Japanese Tsunami comments; it’s all absurd, thoughtless and tasteless.

Japan is in the midst of a cataclysmic nuclear disaster, millions of Japanese go to sleep every night in fear of radiation poisonings, and then we’ve got foolish Americans like, “Dan Turner resigned just hours after media reports of his comments in a daily e-mail sent on Friday to the governor's staff and other political allies.

According to a recipient of the e-mail, Turner joked that on that day in 1968, "Otis Redding posthumously received a gold record for his single, '(Sittin' on) The Dock of the Bay.'" The e-mail added: "Not a big hit in Japan right now."

Aflac has also fired Gilbert Gottfried, “the comedian who is the voice of the insurer's quacking duck in the U.S. Gottfried, who has voiced the duck in numerous commercials since 2000, posted a string of mocking jokes about the earthquake and tsunami in Japan on Twitter over the weekend.

"I just split up with my girlfriend, but like the Japanese say, 'They'll be another one floating by any minute now," he tweeted Saturday.”

Not only Japan is the butt of jokes, but folks with mental problems are getting hit too. “Rep. Martin Hardy, a Barrington Republican, resigned from the New Hampshire House days after making comments supporting eugenics. Today, Harty, a first-term representative, gave his letter of resignation to House Speaker William O’Brien.

“We both agreed that this is what is best for the House to move forward and focus on critical issues,” O’Brien said. Harty’s resignation will become official tomorrow, and there will be a special election to fill his seat.

The 91-year-old Harty made national news last week when he told a constituent that he supported eugenics to get rid of “defective people.”

Governor Jerry Brown’s not the BIG Moron he looks; California has the initiative process you know? If Jerry Brown really wanted that tax increase measure, he could bypass assembly GOP, and he could have an independent source go out and get the initiative signature drive for it. But why isn’t he doing it, if he wants that tax increase so badly? Because he knows, Californians aren’t fools that he wants them to be. Who in their right mind would sign a petition to pay more taxes?

California Gay Assembly member Tom Ammiano is pushing for AB9, the school anti-bulling bill through Sacramento. Good idea! But the problem, the meat of the bill is more about protecting homosexual kids from school bullies. We should have NO tolerance policies on any kind of school bullying, whether someone’s fat, skinny, nerdy, and wearing glasses or speak funny and or they are just red headed.

Problems in 2012, Recent Polls show voters have no faith in President Obama and with GOP/Republicans, in turning the bad economy and lackluster job situations around. “The Democratic president still does better than Republicans: When asked who has a better vision for the years ahead, 45 percent of poll respondents chose Obama and 33 percent picked the Republicans.

“He was promising change,” says poll participant Jessica Wolf, 20, who attends Ivy Tech Community College in Lafayette, Indiana. “I haven’t seen any change. There are no jobs out there for us.”

The poll’s findings underscore the difficulty Obama faces in convincing voters he can boost employment and cut the deficit. The public’s perception of his ability to implement an effective strategy to improve the nation’s long-term prospects is likely to be one of his top hurdles to re-election.”

Telling it Like It Is! New changes on this blog:

Time is a killer for most independent bloggers like me. So much is happening around the world and all over, but there’s no time to cover it all.

Ever since I created the Marc Chamot Report, I have been able to make it into a successful and workable blog as is. But somehow, this one has been neglected.

So what’s going on with this blog? I have decided to use this blog as a column, reporting different news events and then opinion on them, all under one posting every week. My other blog delves more on political issues that affects us all and it is in more detail.

This one will be brief, about subjects that interest me and my opinion. I will try to cover more San Francisco and California news since I live here.

I will also use my signature title that I once had, when I published a newspaper many years ago. It will be preceded by “telling it like it is.” I will become free and personal on every posting and that’s a guarantee.

I never thought much about dogs, while growing up. This silly man always knew they were around, but what they were for was a mystery to me.

I’ve heard terms used you dog! You dirty dog, I’ll kick you like a dog, and you nasty dog, so why are we being so harsh on dogs?

Dogs are more loyal and loving than most human beings I know, how about them apples, eh? Dogs have saved countless of human beings throughout the ages. Dogs have even kept lonely folks alive through companionships and dogs have been our eyes when we’re blind.

In San Francisco, practically everybody has service dogs and now I understand why. So it isn’t so surprising that we’re hearing about another British, Afghanistan war hero and his dog, who are being mourned in Britain.

Theo was a British bred, and one lose and wild MUTT, but he was no ordinary mutt, he was a very special mutt, to fun-loving Lance Corporal Liam Tasker and Theo was a bomb sniffing specialist dog. Theo was smart, and Theo the mutt worked played and slept with Lance Corporal Liam Tasker, they were both inseparable from each other.

But sadly, they both died the same day. They were both flown back to Britain in a somber memorial, for the soldier remembered for his LOVE of animals and the companion he LOVED. You see, Lance Corporal Liam Tasker a dog handler, with the Royal Army Veterinary Corps was killed in a firefight. And his partner, the mutt, with Springer spaniel mix died a few hours later.

British commanders say Teho the mutt died of stress related illnesses, but they don’t want to admit that Theo truly died of a broken heart. I have no doubt that Theo died of a broken heart, along with stress related illnesses. It’s not uncommon to hear about dogs dying when their partners pass away.

Here is more to the sad story; UK soldier, loyal dog, make final journey together "I think we often underestimate the grieving process in dogs," said Elaine Pendlebury, a senior veterinarian with animal charity PDSA. "Some dogs react very severely to their partner's loss."

She said it was not uncommon for pets to respond to an owner's death by refusing food and becoming sick — and the bond between working dogs and their handlers is especially close.

"The bonding that I have seen between soldiers or police and their dogs is fantastic. When you see them working together, it's really one unit."

A military Hercules plane carrying Tasker's body and Theo's ashes touched down Thursday at a Royal Air Force base in southwest England. As the funeral cortege of black vehicles drove slowly away, it was saluted by a long line of military dog handlers, their dogs at their sides. A black Labrador retriever sat quietly beside its handler as the hearse carrying the flag-draped coffin disappeared from view.

Tasker, 26, from Kirkcaldy in Scotland, spent six years as an army mechanic before joining the military working dog unit in 2007. He felt he had found his calling.

"I love my job and working together with Theo," Tasker said in a profile of the pair released by the Ministry of Defense before his death. "He has a great character and never tires. He can't wait to get out and do his job and will stop at nothing."

The soldier and the 22-month-old dog had been in Afghanistan for almost six months, uncovering roadside bombs and weapons in a dangerous daily routine.

Theo became a bit of a military celebrity last month after the defense ministry released photos and video of him and Tasker to highlight the lifesaving work of military dogs. The footage, now deeply poignant, shows Theo — energetic, ears cocked, tail wagging — alongside Tasker searching a compound for explosives.

In it, Theo is seen feverishly circling the dusty area, his nose pressed to the ground. At one point he stops, tail wagging furiously, and begins digging the rocky earth before turning eagerly toward Tasker, who calls out "good boy!" and lets out a chortle of delight before tossing him a treat.

The ministry said then that Theo had been so successful — finding 14 hidden bombs and weapons caches, a record for a team in Afghanistan — that the dog's tour of duty had been extended by a month.”

Financial Woes Persists at the San Francisco Chronicle; More Lay-Offs Coming in April:

I heard through the grapevine, and sources say the San Francisco Chronicle will be laying-off more unionized workers in their circulation department.

Around March and April, they are converting their San Francisco distribution systems to independent “dealerships,” where they are combining all individual independent carrier routes into numerous dealerships. Dealers will be responsible for all delivery personnel, supplies, re-deliveries of service complaints and they will also be responsible for news rack distribution.

Apparently, the Hearst Chronicle has been unable to stop the financial leaks that have befallen the newspaper industry. Their losing financial spigots’ can't be shut down at the Chronicle.

Unfortunately for the Chronicle, their demise can be traced as far back 2000, when they were sued by San Francisco's political elites, in an extortion racket to steal the Examiner along with $66 million dollars from the Hearst Corporation, when they purchased the Chronicle and eliminated the JOA, a Joint Operating Agreement, between the San Francisco Chronicle and the Examiner.

Along came the Fang family, with political consultant Jack Davis and their political hatchet-man and mouth piece, Warren Hinckle. One of the most corruptive factions in San Francisco politics, they received $66 million dollars on an extortion racket/scam perpetrated by the Fang family, along with their then former ally, Mayor Willie L. Brown and former District Attorney Terrence Hallinan.

Phil Bronstein, the current Chronicle Editor at Large, who was former Editor in Chief, came out with an editorial over two years ago, blaming himself for the demise of the newspaper, and rightfully so.

Federal Judge Vaughn Walker, and yes, that same out of the closet gay conservative judge, who ruled on pro-homosexual gay marriages, smelled the rotten deal that was being perpetrated by those corruptive elements.

He ruled in favor for the new Hearst's Chronicle, and he ordered that they could shut down the old Examiner and weren't obligated to hand out the publication along with $66 million dollars to anybody and let alone the Fang family.

But with Phil Bronstein's insistence, the Hearst Corporation finally decided to break the judges order and cracked to heavy extortion rackets and pressures, the San Francisco political elites were putting on the Hearst Corporation. They decided to go ahead and give the Fang family, the San Francisco Examiner and $66 million dollars to boot.

The Chronicle, a somewhat fiscally conservative newspaper, but with very heavy liberal slants on editorials, the Chronicle has lost most of their northern and valley conservative readers throughout the years.

The newspaper has failed to explain why they compromised its editorials policies, when they hired former Mayor Willie Brown as Op-ED writer, who was under numerous FBI investigations as mayor, and mostly initiated by former Hearst Examiner and Chronicle. Knowing full well the former mayor still has heavy hands in San Francisco politics, and is deeply involved behind the scenes in city's politics today, a DIRECT VIOLATION of their editorial policies.

Now that the Fang family are out of publishing, there is no question the new Mr. Philip Anchutz San Francisco Examiner, is by far the better paper. Not just because I'm an Examiner, I see the demand everywhere for this paper. It's got a lot of ads and great conservative news.

In a liberal city like San Francisco, they pick up and read the Examiner. The Examiner offers the other points of views, they would never get otherwise anywhere else.

I have talked to people, most believe, the Examiner did help, bring in more moderates into the board of supervisors, and if it weren't for the Examiner influencing recent elections, we'd be still stuck with damaging leftist-liberals, like the EVER NUTTY Chris Daly on the board of supervisors.

“And update: This now means all bloggers, forum posters, social networking users, and Usenet users can be sued over news quotes/clippings, and even pictures but the funny thing is you can also be sued for your own content that you created yourself because RightHaven can get the copyright of any bloggers content then sue them for it. So this IS the end of Free Speech as we know it. Copyright is King! Those that want Free Speech have to afford a patent attorney and patent everything they say.”

This is directly from my buddy the Bobo Files; “has anyone else out there ever heard of RightHaven, LLC? Well, if it’s news to you as well – that is very understandable. Check out that link – they’ve only been in business since early 2010. Their primary purpose is to acquire copyrights from newspaper organizations around the country and then actively seek out bloggers to sue them over alleged copyright infringement.

If you look over to the far right there and down a little to see my blog badges – you’ll see a blog from our buddy Brian Hill – U.S.W.G.O. – It is when I followed that link to his blog that I first learned of RightHaven, LLC. Apparently, they sued Brian over a TSA pat down picture – this one. I didn’t see the actual blog post.

Brian had this picture up on his blog – On February 7, 2011 – that’s right – this very past Monday – Brian was served with a court summons. If he doesn’t respond within 21 days he loses by default. If you read the initial link regarding RightHaven, LLC you will see their tactic is to demand a minimum of $75,000 payment and to have the blogger turn over their domain.

If you look to the bottom right of my sidebar – you see I have a “Fair Use Policy” – It essentially states I may use copyrighted material without expressed written permission from the originator and it is in accordance with Title 17, U.S.C. Section 107 which says:

Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 106 and 106A, the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright. In determining whether the use made of a work in any particular case is a fair use the factors to be considered shall include—

(1) the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes;

(2) the nature of the copyrighted work;

(3) the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and

(4) the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work.

The fact that a work is unpublished shall not itself bar a finding of fair use if such finding is made upon consideration of all the above factors.”

According to Wikipedia.com; “Righthaven LLC initially purchased copyrights to a number of old news articles from Stephens Media, publisher of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, based on a business model of suing bloggers, other Internet authors, and Internet site operators for statutory damages for having reproduced the articles on their sites without permission.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation soon took up the case on behalf of several defendants.[9] Kurt Opsahl, an EFF attorney, said, "Despite what Righthaven claims, it's hard to interpret these lawsuits as anything else besides a way to bully Internet users into paying unnecessary settlements."[10]

In August, 2010, the company entered an agreement with WEHCO Media in Arkansas to pursue similar actions.[8] Later, it made a similar arrangement with Media News Group, publisher of the San Jose Mercury News.[3]

In December, 2010 Righthaven began to sue website operators over republished graphics and photographs, and also expanded its scope to material originally published by the Denver Post and other newspapers.[11] That month it filed more than a dozen lawsuits over a graphic illustration of the "Vdara death ray" that had gone viral.”

Brian D. Hill of USWGO served with a Court Summons for Civil Action “We have just got served by the clerk of the court and so now we know that the threats RightHaven held against us were legitimate. Even though the accusation was over using a TSA enhanced pat-down photo, any law firm can own copyrights of anybodies stuff which means even my own articles can be copyrighted then I will have to take them down as well over fear of lawsuits so RightHaven has silenced my freedom of speech.”

Righthaven “Really Outdid Itself” Suing Blogger Over Article That Contains His Material “Wendy Davis on MediaPost’s Daily Online Examiner has slammedcopyright thugster Righthaven for filing a copyright infringement suit against Anthony Curtis, the publisher of The Las Vegas Advisor blog.

The allegedly reposted article in this suit was written about the defendant, and used his data and contained quotes from him.

Davis says that Righthaven, who is the outsource copyright plaintiff for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, “has filed some questionable lawsuits in the past, but really outdid itself” this time.

According to Davis, the article involved Curtis’s annual survey results on ticket prices for Las Vegas shows.

She writes, Curtis went to the trouble of fielding a survey and then shared his findings with the newspaper, only to find him sued for posting portions of the ensuing article on his own blog. … If there’s ever a situation where publishing an entire article (or the bulk of one) is fair use, Curtis’s post of an article based on his own research should be it.”

There are quite a few things bloggers en masse can do about this. What we can do about it, first, boycott and blacklist, and never step foot in any major websites who are applying those tactics, like the Las Vegas Review Journal for starters. Let their traffic unto their sites die a very slow death.

They are going to find out the hard way, that bloggers and news junkies are integral parts of their website traffic.

It’s imperative that YOU must give credits and links to all sources of YOUR information, this is not copyrighted violations, especially if you are commenting on the written subject.

As to photos, this is a different story all together. My advice, it’s far safer to use Google’s or other search engines photos, rather than news website’s photos directly and give the credits for those photos.

Obviously, California’s new governor Jerry Brown has somewhat come to his senses. Aware that the Fed isn’t going to bail out the state from their $25 Billion dollar budget gaps miseries anytime soon, he’s taking action on his own. He’s looking everywhere, but the right places to make those cuts.

Brown’s plan includes $12.5 billion in spending cuts, primarily to entitlements, and $12 billion from a five-year extension of the "temporary" income- and sales-tax hikes that the legislature passed two years ago. But good luck on having voter approved tax increases, it isn’t coming, because Californians have already said they will not vote for anymore tax increases until Sacramento get their house in order.

“Mr. Brown, a Democrat, would have to pick off two Republicans in the assembly and two in the senate to obtain a supermajority for extending the tax increases. Conceding that Republicans are unlikely to go along with Democrats this time around, he has asked the legislature to put a proposition on a June special election ballot to extend the hikes. But getting the extension on the ballot would also require a two-thirds vote of the legislature, and anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist of the Americans for Tax Reform has warned Republicans that a vote for putting the extension on the ballot is equivalent to a vote to raise taxes.”

It’s war! Brown's still avoiding critical issues on budget gap and deficits. It’s going to be taxpayers vs. state employee’s pensions.

Brown’s proposals to eliminate some of the state’s useless agencies, subsidizing costly state universities, FREE cell phones for public employees and cuts in social services, among others, including 10% salary cuts for state employees, isn’t going far enough.

He’s still avoiding that 800 pound gorilla in the room, state employees’ budget killing pensions.

According to San Francisco Chronicle’s Chip Johnson, Jerry Brown skips biggest budget problem: pensions “It was no surprise to see Gov. Jerry Brown take bold and immediate steps to try to derail the state's runaway budget, but the biggest obstacle blocking the tracks remains.

Calper, the California Public Employees’ Retirement System, is still the 600-pound gorilla in the room.

At a Monday morning news conference, the state's new governor laid out his plans to cut $12 billion in spending and raise $12 billion in revenue to present a balanced $84.6 billion budget in June.

Days after announcing the elimination of the office of the secretary of education, which operated at a cost of nearly $2 million last year, Brown said the only department spared reductions would be the state's primary education system, which covers kindergarten through high school.

Social service programs would suffer deep cuts under the governor's budget offer along with $500 million each from the state's two public university systems. And while Brown proposed a little more than $300 million in wage reductions to nearly 57,000 state workers, everyone knows that the title fight lies ahead.

The 10 percent wage cut to union workers who had not settled on a bargaining agreement is but a drop in the bucket compared with the cost of providing retirement benefits to 1.6 million workers in 3,000 public agencies and school districts across the state.

In the case of the state retirement system's top earners, including many police and fire departments, employee contributions to retirement plans have been minimal. Until last year, Oakland police officers made no contributions to their own retirement plan. And neither did the Oakland City Council.

Brown made only the slightest reference to the issue on Monday when he mentioned that pension reform was coming.

Whatever he presents must come in the form of a detailed plan that shaves from the high end of the system, because three-fourths of CalPERS retirees earned less than $36,000 in retirement benefits in 2010, according to information on the organization's website. Brown is treating pension reform as a separate fight to prepare for in advance - and he's correct.

When you consider the burden created by enormous pension costs for police officer and firefighter services across the state, it is the single-most-important economic issue at the state level.”

You’re right Chip! Obviously we all figured if Brown got elected, that Jerry wouldn’t have the balls or the guts to take on the powerful state employees unions, but we will see what dances from this budget dilemmas.

It’s an absolute outrage folks! It’s a DAMN shame when our American war Veterans are being discriminated from JOBS in America.

It’s obvious employers aren’t keeping their ends of the bargain, and government isn’t enforcing its OWN laws, making sure Veterans are well taken care of in the work force.

Our WAR Veterans didn’t make or start these idiotic WARS, its government that did, and they are obligated to do a WHOLE lot MORE than what they're doing for veterans. They deserve a whole LOT more than that, you would think!

Employers turn away Iraq, Afghanistan veterans

Soldiers are returning home from Afghanistan and Iraq only to receive the cold shoulder from potential employers,reports The Washington Post's Michael Fletcher.

Ten percent of Iraq and Afghanistanveterans were unemployed in November, compared to the 9.1 percent of non-veterans who did not have jobs. Veterans' employment rate has trailed that of non-vets since at least 2005.

Employers' apparent disregard for the veteran talent pool is undermining "the central recruiting promises of the nation's all-volunteer force: that serving in the military will make them more marketable in civilian life," experts told the Post.

"Everybody says, 'We support the troops,'" 22-year-old Marine vet Calvin Artis told The Post. "But a lot of people turn away when it is time to return the favor."

Artis finally landed a $7.50/hour part-time job working at Quick Chek, a convenience store in Manchester, New Jersey, in September. Artis says the skills he learned as a Marine aren't appreciated in the job market. One hiring manager pointed at him and said to a colleague: "Guess what he used to do? He used to shoot people."

Researchers think as many as 20 percent of veterans suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder, and the illness carries some stigma. Experts think that the fear of hiring a worker struggling with PTSD may be a factor in higher unemployment rates for vets.

In California, the unemployment rate for veterans 24 and under is more than 20 percent. Unemployment among disabled vets is close to 50 percent.

"It boils down to a poor economy and also a stigma about the abilities of the young veterans when they come back, as to their physical and mental issues," Navy vet Bob Mulz told KPBS. Mulz, an electronics retailer, helps veterans find business opportunities. "Especially with service-disabled veterans, the attitude is that they are unable to do the work, when in fact disability does not mean inability."

People were warned, if governments or anybody EVER tried to suppress WikiLeaks and the Internet, “freedom of speeches” anywhere, all hell will break loose, and mayhem would befall upon most, and apparently it has.

What’s even MORE fascinating about this new cyber-war, not EVEN the U.S., Russia or even China, has EVER imagined they could ever shut something like this down.

With thousands of worldwide WikiLeaks’ tech whizzes, they’ve got thousands of WikiLeaks portals and mirror all over. No one, no governments can EVER restrict “freedom of Speeches” on the NET! It looks like WikiLeaks can never be shut down!

Is this what really needed to happen, to make the United States change from its old hypocritical and corruptive ways? Only time will tell, BUT I believe after the WikiLeaks dust settles, we will have a NEW people’s World Order, NOT theirs.

Let me make myself perfectly clear. I don’t condone or support sabotaging of websites, but however, I do support the technology ingenuities that WikiLeaks and their supporters, represents going against the world’s most powerful nations. It’s like David vs. Goliath! And we’re witnessing it, this is so fascinating to WATCH.

WikiLeaks supporters cripple Visa, Mastercard websites, hack Sarah Palin in 'Operation Payback' Shadowy supporters of jailed WikiLeaks wizard Julian Assange launched a barrage of cyber attacks on Wednesday that shut down the web sites of Visa and Mastercard.

The hackers, who call themselves "Anonymous," went on Twitter to declare war on the credit card companies for blocking payments to WikiLeaks.

"Operation Payback," their message read. "TARGET: WWW.VISA.COM :: FIRE FIRE FIRE!!! WEAPONS."

Visa temporarily went down at 4 p.m., around the time the Mastercard site was restored after being down most of the day.

In an online interview with Agence France-Presse, the hackers vowed to stage cyber assaults against anyone with an "anti-WikiLeaks agenda."

The group has also claimed credit for taking down the sites of PayPal, the Swiss Post Office bank, and other entities that have begun shutting off the WikiLeaks money spigot.

Sarah Palin told ABC News that she too had been hacked.

"No wonder others are keeping silent about Assange's antics," Palin emailed. "This is what happens when you exercise the First Amendment and speak against his sick, un-American espionage efforts."

The computer-based campaign was waged a day after Assange was thrown into a British jail after a judge denied him bail on a controversial Swedish rape rap.

His supporters call him an Internet hero and the victim of a U.S.-backed frameup to keep him from revealing more secrets on the web.

Meanwhile, the latest batch of WikiLeak-ed documents revealed that Libya bullied the Brits into releasing the Lockerbie bomber.

They warned the British government "flat out that there will be 'enormous repercussions'" if they didn't spring Abdelbaset al-Megrahi on compassionate grounds, cables from the U.S. embassy in Tripoli revealed.

For California, Another Day, Another Deficit "Five weeks after the Legislature passed a budget that promised to close a $19 billion budget shortfall, California has sunk back into yet another fiscal crisis, this time facing a $26 billion gap that is posing a major new challenge for the incoming governor, Jerry Brown, and seems almost certain to force deep cuts in a state already reeling from three years of financial turmoil.

Mr. Schwarzenegger’s aides said the governor, a Republican who has fought repeatedly with Democrats in pushing through deep spending cuts, will propose another round of reductions to get the state through the end of this fiscal year in June.

“There’s no more easy stuff to cut,” Susan Kennedy, Mr. Schwarzenegger’s chief of staff, said Monday. “We are cutting into bone now.”

These latest budget problems — described by officials in both parties as calamitous — confirm what many officials warned when the Legislature voted in October: the gap was closed, in no small part, through the use of budget gimmickry, including overly optimistic estimates of federal revenue. It has been worsened not only by the continued downturn of the economy, but also by initiatives passed by California voters in November that had the effect of increasing the revenue shortfall by $1 billion.

But even beyond the problems of the current fiscal year, state officials have predicted yet another shortfall, of $19 billion, in the budget for the next fiscal year, which Mr. Brown must propose in January.

California has a history of recovering from financial crises, riding the wave of a national economic growth to recovery, and that is one reason state leaders frequently turn to stop-gap solutions intended to push the problem up the road.

“They are always hoping that tomorrow is going to be a brighter day — and usually it is,” Robert Stern, director of the California-based nonpartisan Center for Governmental Studies, told a reporter. “We’re always bouncing back. We are always written off by you guys, but we always bounce back.”

Still, Mr. Stern said, “this is the worst I’ve seen it.”

Indeed, historic resilience in this economically powerful state is being tested as never before in this recession, prompting concern that fundamental changes in the state’s economy combined with a tightening welter of restrictive voter initiatives on legislative decisions about spending and taxing, are thrusting California into an era of long-lasting austerity."

Michael Honda just won’t give up and he KEEPS drinking the Kool-Aid!

The San Francisco Chronicle came out with California U.S. Representative’s Michael Honda’s opinion piece, on the Reuniting Family Act and his information is laced with untruths. So I’m here once again, to correct his none-FACTS.

“The Reuniting Families Act, which I will reintroduce in the 112th Congress, allows all Americans to be reunited with their families. That includes gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender permanent partners (adults who are in committed lifelong relationships and are financially interdependent).

In the wake of Tuesday's election, political analysts are busily predicting what the outcome means for Congress and the country. With Republicans now in the majority in the House of Representatives, many policies will probably change radically. What must not change, however, is work on immigration reform.

Limiting immigration flows has proved to be economically unsound and harmful to American families. Lengthy waits waste precious government resources and can discourage potential applicants from using legal channels to join their families in the United States.

We understand that during tough economic times, the natural reaction is to close the borders and look inward. Yet, the irony of anti-immigration sentiment, which fears a loss of jobs for Americans if more immigrant workers enter the United States, is that it is fiscally more prudent to legalize, insure, employ, reunite and educate our immigrants than to keep families apart.” By Michael Honda, Scott Fujita

It’s NO, NO, and NO! To Michael Honda and NFL player Scott Fujita, I say BULL! Obviously those TWO, did not see this recent study; “A new study released by the Pew Hispanic Center confirms that immigrants are benefiting before native-born workers from the slow-paced economic recovery.

Foreigners gained 656,000 jobs in the first year following the official end of the recession in June 2009. Native-born workers lost 1.2 million jobs, according to an analysis of government data by Pew, a nonpartisan research group."

Back in Honda's family immigrant days, we're talking about thousands of Japanese immigrants coming here, and what he's proposing, is millions more to come here.

And here’s another thing to ponder, our entitlement benefits are overloaded, many immigrants come here broke, they NEVER paid into it, they become legal and they get taxpayer PAID benefits. MY FRAKING BENEFITS that I PAID for, that I may never receive, and that THEY NEVER PAID FOR, No “freakin’ way Jose!

It seems like Immigrants do benefit, BUT we’re getting the shorter end of the shtick! This is the kind of Representatives in government we’re ALL getting sick and tired of.

Thus we are keenly aware of the need for our society to be more inclusive.

Yet our family-based immigration system has not been updated in 20 years. Nearly 6 million people are stuck in perpetual waiting, which is both unproductive and inexcusable. Five-year separations are quite common; so are 20-year estrangements from siblings and elderly parents.

Waits are so long that families receiving visas often find that their children have to reapply as adults and go to the back of the line. These administrative backlogs disproportionately affect Asians, Latinos and women.

The benefits of this policy cannot be overstated: American workers with their families by their side are happier, healthier and more able to succeed than those living apart from loved ones for years on end. By pooling resources, families can do together what they can't do alone - start family businesses, create American jobs and contribute more to this country's welfare.

The healthier the community, the more expendable income is available and the lower the burden on government social services. This correlation is well researched and well substantiated, but it is up to us to make it a reality.

This is a time when we must use every available resource to stimulate our economy and control government spending. That is why comprehensive immigration reform makes good sense.

It is time to reunite America. No family excluded.

I voted this morning. I went to San Francisco Silly Hall, excuse me, City Hall and voted early. What happened was I never received my absentee ballot in the mail. It was getting closer to elections deadline, I had to act fast, and I had to vote so I did.

I want to clarify something here and now, about those myths. Those news stories coming out, saying Democrats are coming strong and early with their ballots are not true at all. Actually, at Silly Hall, I specifically told my poll worker, I’m Independent, and where are those ballots? She replied with, “they are all the same and we don’t distinguish party affiliations here.”

So how do some news media’s come out and say, who’s voting, which party and so forth? There weren’t any pollsters around to ask me, so, how do they know this, unless it is made up from thin air? I can happily debunk this theory as pure nonsense!

Since I don’t have the time to talk about everything that was on the ballot, however, I will talk about key issues that concerned me.

First with California’s governor’s race, I just couldn’t bring myself to vote for anybody else, but Meg Whitman. Okay, Okay, I said, I wouldn’t vote for her, but governor “Moonbeam” again? No freaking way, José!

I cannot in myself conscious ever VOTE for left-wing Democrats, one that is in bed with government/public employee’s unions. Increasing taxes, just to pay their ill earned loots.

You can count Meg Whitman out; sadly she’ll be the losing party for the California governorship. She’s ten points down to Brown and as I said before, she lost her bid for governorship not too long ago. She began strong, and then wavered from traditional Republican conservative values, and then began sounding very Arnold Schwarzenegger “RINO” like. For anyone who wants to know, “RINO” are Republican in Name Only, Democrats dressed up as Republican in sheep clothing.

She was going so far left in the past few months that California conservatives, had to threaten her to stop. She reneged on getting tougher on illegal immigration, as well as California’s Cap and Trade issues, which are damaging state JOBS with so many out of control Green regulations. And she even flirted with the idea of accepting Obamacare!

Meg Whitman angered her base and potential Independents through rampant flip-flopping on issues. Despite spending over 162 million dollars on her campaign, she wasn’t credible. My candidate was Steve Poizner, and Meg’s multi-millions spent on the campaign, made sure he wasn’t able to be the nominee for governor.

At first, I was pretty high on her, flip-flops after, flip-flops, pretty much did me in. She didn’t have the character we’re looking for in conservative candidates for California governor.

Carly Fiorina, Republican battling to unseat liberal Barbara Boxer, is entirely a different story. Where Meg Whitman failed, she succeeded. She stuck to her guns on issues crucial for conservatives and for the state of California, such as getting tougher on illegal immigration, dealing with run-away public employees’ pensions and their unions, stopping the Cap and Trade fiascos and undoing Obamacare.

Carly Fiorina has absolute chances to topple Barbara Boxer, and there is no question about it! Democrats are pretty unpopular with the populace, however, most voters, and even Latinos have seen jobs decimated, because of environmentalists and their political cronies, destroying farmlands due to lack of water and other demented policies.

I voted in favor of San Francisco’s propositions B and G, ENDING gravy trains for special interests groups and sweetheart deals for city’s public employee’ and their unions. It will pass, we’re not dummies!

Passing propositions B and G on Election Day is urgently necessary. The City’s taxpayers need to put the brakes on public employee pensions and benefits right now to head off a quickly approaching breakdown of cash-starved public services for everything from street repairs and public safety to kids’ and seniors’ support programs.

The numbers could hardly be more ominous, leading unavoidably to civic bankruptcy unless major changes are made at once. City budget deficits close to our current $462 million appear likely to keep repeating. But this year alone, The City is spending $829 million on pensions and benefits for all municipal employees.

The city controller forecasts that these costs will nearly double in five years and continue rising nonstop. City employee benefits are on track to cost twice as much as the school district’s entire budget by 2012, or 40 times more than we can currently afford for upkeep of our streets and parks.

Prop. B would have all city employees contribute 9 percent to 10 percent of salaries toward their defined-benefit pensions, instead of the current 0 to 7.5 percent. Right now, most city employees pay little to nothing for their personal health insurance. With Prop B, they would still pay far less than private-sector workers. That’s essentially all there is to it, and these reasonable changes would quickly start saving San Francisco taxpayers approximately $120 million a year.

Prop. G would amend the City Charter to require that Muni operators negotiate for their wages, benefits and work-rule changes — just like our well-paid police officers and firefighters, plus all other San Francisco public employees.

There’s no denying that driving a bus through the streets of San Francisco is hard, demanding work. But unfortunately the members of Transport Workers Union Local 250-A have repeatedly proven they will continue wasting millions of our scarce transit dollars on their absurdly self-serving work rules unless they have something to gain as part of a collective bargaining deal.

As predicted, Obamacare, the federal healthcare “failure,” is going to be a royal fiscal nightmares for this nation. It has already begun, employers looking to drop job based coverage’s for all employees. Obamacare wasn’t supposed to undercut employer plans that provide majority of health coverage’s for Americans.

Boeing notified their workers, healthcare costs are “boing-up,” just a pun on Boeing. Democratic Governor, Phil Bredesen of Tennessee, lays out plans for employers to get out of healthcare, by shifting workers into taxpayer subsidized insurance markets that will open in 2014, through Obamacare.

This is financial disasters' just waiting to happen. Even a big dummy like me, understands the implications and ramifications of this national disaster. The demise of employer based healthcare could be costly, and extremely destructive, for American healthcare and the nation’s bottom lines. Obviously, they aren’t going to do this publicly, I’ll be done quietly.

The new incompetent law in Obamacare gives them the right loopholes to do it. The first one, a hefty tax on high-cost health insurance, aimed at the most expensive coverage. The infamous, “Cadillac Tax” doesn’t hit until 2018.

That tax was Boeing’s primary reasons and concerns, as to why they are looking to eliminate it, it’s because they got a whopping 50% increase in deductibles from insurance companies. The tax is 40% of the value of plans above $10,200 for individual coverage and $27,500 for families.

Even though employers could face fines of $2,000 per worker, it’s still way cheaper paying the fine than insuring workers’ healthcare.

Political lines on the proverbial sands have been drawn. It’s pretty clear now, this Midterm elections, it’s going to be between the haves and have not’s right down the line. Labor unions, mainly government employees unions, are fighting for their lives and futures death battles for survival.

If it were any other time, other than current economic chaos, the American people couldn’t have cared, whether union backed Democrats would get the nod, they probably would have never known about the deceits and cahoots, emanating between Democratic politicians and big government unions.

The cat is out of the bag! This upcoming election will probably be the biggest defeat for U.S. government unions all over. Maybe, not as bad in California, where they are so politically intertwined and deeply entrenched within the “unbreakable” and corruptive California Democratic machines.

People who work in the private sectors, none government JOBS, know they are getting the RAW deals. A sector that once created jobs, prosperities and grand opportunities for the majority of Americans is gone. But these people are seeing shameful displays from Democrats along with their union allies.

People have taken sides on this great divide. On one side, are the Tea Party, Republicans, some Democrats and majority of Independents, Main Street and small business, while on the other, who STEAL from the private sector, to further enrich and empower themselves, along with their political allies, President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Democratic majorities, with Labor Unions, radical Green environmentalists, trial lawyers, most mainstreams medias and college professors.

“The biggest political spending in 2010 is by the American Federation of State, county and Municipal Employees, AFSCME will have funneled an estimated $87.5 million into the campaign by Nov. 2, all of it going to Democrats and an amount far exceeding the chamber's $75 million. More millions are being poured into Democratic campaign coffers by other public-sector unions.

On Friday, for example, the National Education Association spent $500,000 on ads aimed at helping Democratic Rep. Joe Sestak defeat former Rep. Pat Toomey, the Republican in the Pennsylvania Senate contest.

But there is a fundamental problem here that FDR understood years ago and that AFSCME President Gerald McEntee inadvertently highlighted when he told the Journal: "We're spending big. And we're damn happy it's big. And our members are damn happy it's big -- it's their money."

Actually, it's not simply "their money." Every dollar paid to a unionized government worker was taxed away from somebody who earned it in the private sector. So when these unions spend millions to elect Democrats who will vote for bigger government, they are literally using money from the productive part of America to enable more government taxing and spending.

It’s all fine with what he’s doing, but enforcing “federal laws,” should be on even grounds. If HE thinks these lawsuits directed against his base, attacking popular left-wing based agendas, will convince the rest of us otherwise, he’s totally mistaken. This won’t work.

It's all for VOTES! Like I've been telling YOU folks all along! Illegal aliens, Latinos, amnesties and Open Border Groups are Obama's number one agendas and priorities, while economy and JOBS for Americans are left behind!

Attorney General Eric Holder: Federal laws enforced even if marijuana bill in California passes

"Attorney General Eric Holder has a message for Californians who think the state's ballot measure legalizing the recreational use of marijuana will be approved: Even if it passes, nothing will change.

Holder said federal authorities would continue to enforce U.S. laws that declare the drug is illegal, even if voters approve the initiative.

In a strongly worded letter to former officials at the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration — who wrote him expressing concern about the measure — Holder said the Obama Administration "strongly opposes" Proposition 19.

He argued the passage would complicate drug enforcement efforts.

"Accordingly, we will vigorously enforce the (Controlled Substances Act) against those individuals and organizations that possess, manufacture or distribute marijuana for recreational use, even if such activities are permitted under state law," he said.

Unlike the Bush Administration, Obama has taken a more lenient stance on medical marijuana. Last year he said federal attorneys would no longer go after patients who use medical pot — which is legal in California — or the dispensaries that allocate it.

Supporters of the initiative argue that decriminalizing marijuana would reduce drug-related violence and bring tax revenue for the cash-strapped state.

According to a recent poll, California voters were more likely to vote against the measure 53% to 43%.

Several in favor of Prop. 19 pointed out the response was similar to when California passed its medical marijuana bill 14 years ago.

"This is 1996 all over again," Stephen Gutwillig, California director of the Drug Policy Alliance, which backs Prop. 19, told the Los Angeles Times. He noted that now 13 states and D.C allow the use of medical pot.

"All that happened without a single change in federal law."

'Don't ask, don't tell' appeal puts Obama in a tough spot At a time when President Barack Obama is trying to rally his political base, his administration is fighting to temporarily preserve the ban on gays serving openly in the military, even though his core supporters want it ended now.

The Justice Department is appealing a court ruling that would stop the Clinton-era "don't ask, don't tell" policy even as Democrats fighting hard to hold their majorities in Congress are looking to motivate the voters who delivered the White House to this president.

The appeal, although expected, will do little to help Democrats trying to inspire those voters and hold back a Republican tide on Nov. 2.

As the Justice Department sought a temporary delay in the court order, pending an appeal, the president vowed in a meeting with young adults Thursday, "This policy will end and it will end on my watch."

But he cast himself as constrained by the legal process.

"I can't simply ignore laws that are out there," he said. "I have got to work to make sure that they are changed."

Outrageous! Since when do illegal immigrants get bail in this country?

“Authorities say a heartless driver who plowed into a motorcyclist and said “No” when the victim begged for help is an unlicensed illegal immigrant.

Eric Olvera Nieto, 21, allegedly struck the motorcyclist, who was stopped at a red light, in a horrific crash in Menlo Park on Monday, police said.”

And this illegal alien, gets bailed out! Can you folks believe that? Well what do you know? San Mateo County bail out illegal immigrants!

An illegal alien driver, without driver’s license, plowed into a motorcycle and says NO, when the injured motorcyclist begged for help.

How many more Americans will have to get hurt, maimed, or KILLED by these illegal trespassers? This is outrageous! We’ve got disgusting illegal alien problems in this country, many who don’t even care for human lives, or OUR lives roaming around!

This is why; we need to RID illegal aliens OUT of this country, no matter what.

And Obama, Democrats and some Republicans are pussy footing around on sanctuary cities, counties like San Mateo and border issues! And that's why Americans are getting pissed off!

Man hits motorcyclist with car, flees on foot

The victim survived the 5:50 a.m. wreck but suffered several fractured vertebrae, they said. Nieto was allegedly driving at high speed when striking the motorcyclist, who was thrown onto the car’s hood and then onto the concrete, according to San Mateo County prosecutors.

Nieto allegedly stopped, got out of his vehicle and walked up to the victim. The victim asked for help, and Nieto said “no” and fled on foot, prosecutors said.

Cops said they later found Nieto at his girlfriend’s home in Ripon.

The “suspect fled because he is illegally in the U.S. and an unlicensed driver,” prosecutors said.

Nieto pleaded not guilty to the felony charges Wednesday. The case was set for preliminary hearing on Oct. 19. Bail was set at $50,000 and Nieto remains in custody, police said.

I saw this on OpenEdNews.com. A VERY good progressive and Liberal site, I belong to, but never posted. You JUST got to weed out the GOOD from the bad.

I think Michael Collins drives home his point. The GOOD news, I think, I believe, eventually, a NEW third party will develop out of all this mess. It’s got to, because these federal governments of ours are way out of touch with all Americans and definitely they’re OUT of whack!

I agree, WARS should be declared by U.S. congress, NOT by a sitting U.S. president. However, I do not buy into the rest of Michael Collin’s article.

Lawless Nation - Congress

Placed in office through legalized bribery, supported by public funding for their every need, protected against the laws that we're expected to obey, Congress represents the epitome of lawlessness; lawmakers who have no regard for the law. (Image)

Members of Congress are different. They get to retire at age 62 with lifetime pensions and health benefits. To qualify, they need just five years of service. They get free phone, mail, and other communications plus paid domestic and foreign travel. Supposedly, they're not allowed to take gifts but the list of exceptions offers plenty of room for luxurious appreciation.

The biggest gift of all - a six to seven figure job with a major corporation or lobbying firm right after retirement - is still fair game for any member. The revolving door never stops.

But supposedly Congress passes laws for the public benefit. They come to power based on contributions from their patrons, usually large donors. Then members resolutely deny that these contributions translate into legislation favorable to the donors. If pressed, member's state that the contributions merely buy access not votes.

In fact, members routinely vote the interests of their largest patrons. Thus, the contributions are a form of legalized bribery ("a favor or promise given to influence the judgment or conduct of a person in a position of trust.").

The financial industry contributed hundreds of millions to current members. When Wall Streetwas about to fail in late 2008, they called in their markers and got an immediate bailout of $700 billion and "total potential Federal Government support (that) could reach up to $23.7 trillion" from the Federal Reserve and other government sources. This was in the midst of the 2008 federal election cycle when members solicited funds from the very people they bailed out.

Would this have happened without years of contributions by the financial industry?

What other incentives were involved that were not revealed?

The people face a health care crisis of epic proportions, losing insurance, under coverage for life threatening conditions. They have to delay or cease medication due to ever rising costs. Health care is unaffordable to many.

Congress addressed the problem much like they did the financial crisis. A bill was passed that left health insurance companies at the center of health care taking a handsome profit for doing little to nothing. Prior to passage of the health bill, the insurers raised rates shamelessly and did so again after the legislation was enacted, using the very health reform passed for the people to gouge the people for more money.

In the midst of total unemployment at about 20%, with the poverty on the rise, what has Congress done? The vast majority of citizens get little or no attention while those who cause the financial meltdown are handsomely rewarded. Members of Congress fret that they simply can't get the votes to help the people.

But we know different.

Congress routinely ignores the Constitution. Article I outlines "All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress." Section 8 of the article lists this power: "To declare War." When presidents make war without congressional authorization, Congress passes legislation that negates its war making powers in order to legitimize the illegal act by the executive branch.

These wars are funded by Congress even when a war was found to be based on lies, as was the case in Iraq. Congress continues to fund the efforts claiming it is necessary to protect the troops. They fail to acknowledge that the absence of illegal wars harmful to the nation is the best troop protection available.

With the illegal wars underway, Congress passes legislation to address the problems created by the illegal wars in the name of national security. As they do this, the real issues of national security, the legal rights of citizens and the economic well being of the nation, are violated or ignored.
