අද අපි හැමදාම වගේ තවත් විශේෂ දෙයක් ගැන දැනගන්නයි උත්සහ කරන්නේ. මීට පෙර අවස්ථා වලදී ඔබ හධුන ගත්ත Systems Administrator කෙනෙක් කියන්නේ කවුද සහ එම කාරණයට අවශ්‍ය සුදුසුකම් මොනවාද යන පිළිබද. මේ ලිපියදී අපි අවධානය යෝමු කරනේ Data Base Administrator කියන රැකියාව පිලිමදවයි.

Setting up a Microsoft Exchange email Account

Go to Settings --> Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Tap Add Account, then tap Microsoft Exchange.

How to change a Mail Account Settings

How to stop using a Mail Account

How to Reset forgotton Windows 7 Admin PassWord

Download

Insert a CD /DVD or a USB Drive in to the target drive and burn this tool to your disk to create a Password Recovery disk.Click on Burn to DVD/CD button to burn it to the Destination Disk.

Change your Computers BIOS settings to boot it from the CD/DVD drive.

If you successfully boot your computer from the Recovery disk you will get a cute interface

Select the windows 7 system that you want to reset the password

Select the user you want to reset the password

Click the Reset button to reset it

Click Reboot Button to Reboot the computer

Eject the CD /DVD when it ask to Eject the CD/DVD

Access to the BIOS and change the boot device as HDD in BIOS settings (If need)

Reboot the computer and Now you can log in to your account without giving the Password....

How to Boot in Safe Mode Without pressing F8 Key

Once My keyboard was not working properly.so unable to boot in safe mode because of my F8 key was damaged.I found following methods to use on such a time.I have mentioned it for windows Vista and also in Windows Xp.

Boot In Safe Mode Via msconfig

For Vista

First boot your PC in normal mode and go Start --> Run, and type msconfig now press Enter, It will take you to the MS Configuration window.

Click the Boot tab in window and select the check box Safe boot

Make sure that minimal is selected and click Apply and OK.

Restart the Computer and It will boot on safe mode now.

When you done with your work in safe mode, open msconfig in safe mode and uncheck the check box Safe boot and click Apply and OK

Restart the PC to boot in normal way

For XP

First boot your PC in normal mode and go Start --> Run, and type msconfig now press Enter, It will take you to the MS Configuration window.

Click the BOOT.INI tab and select the check box /SAFEBOOT

Make sure that minimal is selected and click Apply and OK.

Other steps are same as first method.

Dont forget to uncheck the chek box on /SAFEBOOT as soon as you finished your work in safe mode interface to to boo the PC normally.

How to Install Windows 8 to your Virtual Box

Installing Windows 8 To Your Virutual Box

First you should Download and Install the Virtual box to your computer.To download it use the following link

Virtual box (Its free and Open source)

If you already installed it go ahead and follow the steps below
Download "Windows 8 Developer Preview" from the following link

Windows 8 Developer preview"

To start click on the start button on the virtual button to create your Windows 8 box
Under the "Name" Give the name as you wish (ex: My Windows 8)
Under the "OS Type" Give "Microsoft Windows" as "Operating system-" and "Other Windows-" as "Version"
Click continue
Under the "Base Memory Size-" Give 2000MB or High
Click Continue

You will get some prompts and answer for them according to your current situation
At the place you get the "Virtual Disk Location and size"

specify the Virtual Disk size 20GB or more
then click Continue

After done these thins before you start new Virtual PC you have to go settings and change the "Video memory" in to 128MB
then start the PC and you have to specify the place you store the windows 8 ISO file to the virtual box to find it

You will get install windows prompt click next
Accept the license terms
then specify the hard disk parameters in the "Where do you want to install windows" prompt
Click next and windows will install the files and restart the box
You will get "personalize" prompt to specify your PC name
You will get "settings" prompt
Click "Use express settings" or "Customize" it
It will show you "Preparing your PC"

and

then You will be in your Brand New Windows 8 Desktop

How to Install Windows 7 in to a Virtual Hard Disk (VHD)

This is an easy process.Follow the following steps carefully and reach to the success.. Good Luck

Boot your computer with Windows 7 DVD and When you prompt the Graphical User Interface to Install the Windows with "install Now" option
Without clicking "Install Now" Click the "Repair your computer" option at the down left side
Then you will get the "System Recovery Option"
In that chose the "Use recovery tools that can help fix problems starting Windows" Option
Then Click next
You will get a list of tools on that Click the "Command Prompt"
You will get the command prompt interface

From here you have to use following commands and at the end of the each command press the enter key to execute the command

diskpart
list disk

You can see your hard disk drive in the list

select disk 0
create partition primary
list partition

You can see now your newly created partition

select partition 1
assign letter=c
format fs=ntfs label="data1" quick
create vdisk file=c:\myvhd.vhd maximum=70000
attach vdisk

now you have a Virtual Hard disk in side your Physical hard disk with the size of 70 GB (Notice your real had disk should be grater in size than the VHD)

now close the disk part by typing "exit"
and type and enter "exit" again to close the command prompt
Now close your "system recovery option" window
You will be in the windows installing prompt
Click the "Install now" option
Accept the License terms and click next
then select the "Custom (advanced)" option
Now you can see your actual primary partition and the Virtual Disk that you created
select your VHD
You can see a error message in the down left side that showing "Windows cannot be installed to this disk (show details)
You should ignore it and select your VHD and click next
Now windows will install to your computer as a normal installation
