<p>Born in Port Medway, Queens County, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Dessie (Leaman) Smith.</p>
<p>Evelyn was a secretary for many years working in the US.</p>
<p>She is survived by her sons Richard (Anne) Guckert of Marietta, GA. and Ronald (Karen) Guckert of Broomall, PA., five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>She was predeceased by her first husband Harry Guckert and her second husband Eric Manthorne, her sister Genesta Wylde and her brothers Archibald and Anson.</p>
<p>Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Port Medway at a later date. <p>Born in West Dublin, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Foster and Susan (Smith) Corkum.</p>
<p>Annie was a life-long member of Middlewood United Church and the oldest of her siblings.</p>
<p>Surviving are her sons Garfield Slauenwhite (Beverley Smith) of Ninevah, Max (Margaret) Slauenwhite of Voglers Cove, Clarence (Laverne) Slauenwhite of Hebbs Cross, her daughters Phyllis (James) Harris of Dublin Shore, Pearl Slauenwhite (Eugene Feener) of Whynott Settlement. Her sisters Shirley (Douglas) Cleversey of West LaHave, Margaret (Douglas) Crouse of Hebbville, Minnie Hirtle of Mahone Nursing Home, Ruth Wile of Auburndale. A number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>She was predeceased by her first husband Kelly Slauenwhite, her second husband Carmen Connolly, a grandson Christopher Harris, an infant sister Barbara, a sister Muriel Minnick, an infant brother Lockie and brother Ralph and a half sister.</p>
<p>Visitation will be Saturday, May 18th, 2013 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. and funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. both in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Reverend Vivian Moores officiating. Burial will be in Middlewood United Cemetery. Flowers from the immediate family only, donations may be made to Middlewood United Church, Canadian Diabetes Association or to any charity. <p>Born in Moncton, NB, she was a daughter of Robert Beyea of Montreal and Marie (Hirtle) Beyea of Lunenburg.</p>
<p>Deborah ran her own day care for a number of years before working with the Ontario Department of Motor Vehicles and becoming a  supervisor. Following this, she was a secretary for the Scarborough School Board.</p>
<p>She is survived by her husband James Rhodenizer, her son Shawn of Halifax, her brothers Harold (Anne) of Mercer Island, Washington State and John  Robert of Unionville, ON.</p>
<p>She was predeceased by her first husband Ted Benoy.</p>
<p>Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. At Deborah’s request, there will be no funeral service. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com.</p>

<p>Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Thomas and Janet (Rogers) Quinn.</p>
<p>Sonny was happiest when talking and spending time with his family and many friends. He enjoyed cutting and splitting wood in his younger years.</p>
<p>He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, the former Judy Armstrong, brother Robert (Lorraine), of Liverpool and first cousin Mike (Tina) Quinn, of Liverpool.</p>
<p>He was predeceased by an aunt, Marion.</p>
<p>Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A private family service will take place at a later date. No flowers by request. <p>Bessie was born March 4, 1917 in Mt. Denson, Hants Co., the daughter of Lee and Rosa (Nichols) Schurman.</p>
<p>She graduated from Victoria General Hospital, Halifax in 1940 and worked several years at Queens General Hospital in Liverpool. She was a member of Zion United Church and Zion UCW since 1946. She was a leader and assistant leader of Brownies in her early years. Bessie enjoyed all needlework, games, reading and baking, but most of all family and friends. Travelling with husband Lloyd was a real pleasure, visiting Newfoundland, England, Scotland as well as Canada and the USA from coast to coast.</p>
<p>Surviving are son John (Gail) Riverview, NB and daughter Joan (Richard) Fralic, MacLeod Hill, NB. Grandchildren, Peter Frellick (Tracy Wallace), Vancouver, BC; Susan (Gordon) Frellick-Perry, Summerside, PEI; Lynn Frellick (Ron Haslam), Summerside, PEI; Greg (Theresa) Fralic, Heidlberg, Ont.; Michael Fralic (Julie Hong), Ottawa. Great-grandchildren Jacob and Ella Rose Fralic and Leigha Haslam. Her nieces and nephews were very special to “Aunt Bessie”.</p>
<p>She was predeceased by husband Lloyd and infant son Ronald Lloyd.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.chandlersfuneral.com">Chandler's Funeral Service, Liverpool, Nova Scotia</a>: information regarding <a href="http://www.chandlersfuneral.com/richards-ella-maude/">Richards; Ella Maude</a></p><p>RICHARDS -- Ella Maude, 83, of Queens Manor, Liverpool, formerly of Brooklyn, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30th, 2013 in Queens Manor.</p>
<p>Born in Bear Point, Shelburne County, she was a daughter of the late H. Leland and Dora (Perry) Smith.</p>
<p>Ella taught school for a few years before deciding to enroll in the Victoria General Hospital School of Nursing program. Following her graduation in 1952, Ella worked as a registered nurse until her retirement. She was a member of the Liverpool United Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary as well as the Womens Missionary Society and the WWT.  She was an active member of the Queens General Hospital Auxiliary and the Hospital Hustle. She enjoyed bowling, traveling and especially loved to spend time with her family and friends.</p>
<p>She is survived by her husband of 58 years Erwin, her daughter Elizabeth (Mark) Bamford of Dartmouth, her son Stephen (Sue Taylor) of Elmsdale, her grandchildren Tracey, Evan and Sean, her twin sister Ethel (Sinclaire) Richards of Bridgewater and her brother Morton (Marion) Williams of Liverpool.</p>
<p>She was predeceased by her infant son David and stepmother Edith Marie (Douglas) Smith.</p>
<p>Visitation will be Thursday, May 2nd, 2013 from 7 until 9 p.m. and funeral service will be Friday, May 3rd, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., both in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool.  Reverend Steven Hopper officiating. Burial will be in Liverpool United Baptist Cemetery, Liverpool. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Liverpool United Baptist Church. <p>Born in Milton, Queens County, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Susan (Bauld) Dagley.</p>
<p>Sylvia was a teacher for 38 years having taught in Tusket, Dartmouth and Milton. She was a member of the I.O.D.E and the Retired Teachers Association, as well as Trinity Anglican Church where she was a former Sunday School Superintendent and a member of the altar guild. She loved to walk the beach and collect shells with her grandchildren as well as having “McDonald’s dates” every Saturday. She enjoyed crossword puzzle books, reading, knitting, playing the piano and her cats, but the greatest love of all was her family especially her grandchildren.</p>
<p>She is survived by her husband of 53 years George; her daughters Cheryl (Edward) Lavoie of Kamloops, BC, Rhonda Norman of Liverpool, Susanne Norman of Vancouver, her grandchildren Thomas and Ethan Lavoie, Sarah and Ryan Henderson and her great-grandson Bentley Swindell, her sisters Ruth MacCaul of Liverpool and Marjorie Bean of Niagara Falls, ON.</p>
<p>She was predeceased by her brothers Maurice, Fred Jr., Charles, Richard and Donald.</p>
<p>Visitation will be Friday, May 3rd, 2013 from 7 until 9 p.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 4th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from Trinity Anglican Church, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. 				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.chandlersfuneral.com">Chandler's Funeral Service, Liverpool, Nova Scotia</a>: information regarding <a href="http://www.chandlersfuneral.com/warrington-terrance-ford/">Warrington; Terrance Ford</a></p><p>Terrance Ford Warrington, 74, of Milton, formerly of Mersey Point, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Saturday, April 27th, 2013 with his family by his side.</p>
<p>Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Houlton and Clara (Morrison) Warrington.</p>
<p>Terrance worked at the former Mersey Tavern for five years, lobstered for five years and painted for forty years until he had to retire due to health issues. Terrance was larger than life and enjoyed every minute of it. He loved his weekly card games, talking to his sister Judy and most of all his grandchildren.</p>
<p>He is survived by his daughter Tina (David) of Milton, his son Terry (Kim) of Liverpool, his sisters Judy (Terry) of Liverpool and Joyce of Halifax and his most cherished grandchildren Terrence-James “TJ”, Tristan, Shakira, Trey and Rashawn and many, many loving nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>He was predeceased by his wife of 36 years Rosalind (Saulnier), his sisters Beatrice, Myrtle, Bernice, his brothers Rodney, Stanley, Houlton Jr. and his niece Gaye as well as his nephews Randal and Vincent.</p>
<p>Visitation will be Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 from 7 until 9 p.m. and funeral service will be Thursday, May 2nd, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. both in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Burial will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, The Nova Scotia Lung Association, the Canadian Cancer Society or to any charity. 				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.chandlersfuneral.com">Chandler's Funeral Service, Liverpool, Nova Scotia</a>: information regarding <a href="http://www.chandlersfuneral.com/armstrong-charles-raymond/">Armstrong; Charles Raymond</a></p><p>ARMSTRONG -- Charles Raymond, 72, of West Caledonia, Queens County, passed away in QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax on April 24th, 2013 with his family by his side.</p>
<p>Born in West Caledonia, he was a son of the late Arthur Guy and Hilda Claire (Conway) Armstrong.</p>
<p>Charles was a Parks Canada employee for 25 years, working grounds maintenance. He was an avid dart player and cook, especially cheese biscuits which will be missed by his entire family.  He enjoyed the outdoors, feeding his ducks and geese, as well as hunting and fishing in his spare time. He also enjoyed woodworking and listening to the old style country music.</p>
<p>He is survived by his wife Patricia (Ritchie) his daughters Cheryl Lynn of Ottawa, ON, Deanna Lee of Ariss, ON and Shawna Sue (Drew) Phillips of Upper Tantallon, eight grandchildren, his sisters Doris Carver of Harmony, Jean Andrews of Hamilton, ON, Rosanna Terpstra of Barrie ON, his brothers James (Mary) of Alliston, ON., Terry (Marge) of Prince Rupert, BC, Robert (Mary) of Bradford, ON.</p>
<p>He was predeceased by his son Shane, his sisters Marilyn Annesty, Helen Thompson and infant sister Carolyn, his brothers Guy Jr., Danny and Gary.</p>
<p>Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 26th, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, West Caledonia. Father Jack Farrell officiating. Burial will be at a later date. <p>Dawn was a real estate broker for 25 years, co-owning and operating Gallant Agencies alongside her late husband Charlie. She was a member of St. Gregory’s Catholic Church as a well as a former member of the Kinette and K-ette Clubs of Liverpool.</p>
<p>She is survived by her daughter Heidi (Mark) Williams of Hebbs Cross, her son Mark of Calgary and her companion Harry Rennehan of Churchover.</p>
<p>She was predeceased by her husband Charles and infant sister Dorothy, an infant brother, her brother Cleveland and her adopted brother Sherman.</p>
<p>Visitation will be held Sunday, April 28th, 2013 from 7 until 9 p.m. and funeral service will be held Monday, April 29th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. both in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool.
