<p> WAMBOLT -  James J.,  81, of Port Howe, Cumberland County, passed away peacefully at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst on February 1st, 2012.</p>
<p>             Born July 17th, 1930 in Milton, he was a son of the late Cecil and Beatrice (Muree) Wamboldt.</p>
<p>              Bud, as he was known to his friends and family, was owner/operator of Wamboldt’s Texaco, later becoming Wamboldt’s Irving in Milton from 1968 to 1979. In late years, at his home in Port Howe, he did piecework for Seagull Pewter, Pugwash, for over twenty years. In his spare time, he loved to work on outdoor projects with his tractor and inside his workshop. Bud was a member and Past Master of Prince of Wales Lodge #29, Milton, A.F. &amp; A.M.</p>
<p> He is survived by his wife Julie (Teed)(Cameron); daughters Linda (Clarke) Rafuse of Milton, Sharon (Brian) Munroe of Moose Harbour, Tina (Kevin) Whynott of Brooklyn. Step daughter Linda (Tom) Hebb of Port Howe, Step sons Allen (Rochelle) Cameron of Beverly, MA. Kenneth (Eva) Cameron of Pugwash, Gary (Janet) Cameron of Aurora, ON. James (Angie) Cameron of Fort McMurray, AB. Sisters Inez (Charles) Eaton of Milton, Marion Gardner of Tottenham, ON. Kathleen Yuill of Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Brothers Douglas (Elsie), Roger (Geraldine) and Lloyd (Patricia) all of Milton. Donald (Gail) Stouffville, ON. 8 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.</p>
<p> He was predeceased by a brother George of Milton.</p>
<p> Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral Service and Masonic service will be held Tuesday, February 7th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. both in Milton Baptist Church. Reverend Corey Pickens officiating. Burial will be in Milton Community Cemetery. Family flowers only , donations may be made to the Milton Baptist Church or the Prince of Wales Lodge #29, Milton, A.F. &amp; A. M.. <p>BAKER &#8211; Donald Edwin,  70, of Caledonia, Queens County, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, January 30th, 2012 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.</p>
<p>Born in North Brookfield, he was  a son of the late Ranald and Modena (Frail) Baker.</p>
<p>Don was a salesman for Riverport Seafoods and sales manager for Bay of Fundy Service CP. He, along with his brother John, ran a garage for four years until his retirement in 1982 due to poor health. Don will be fondly remembered travelling around Caledonia in his wheelchair accompanied by his dog Scamp. He enjoyed reading and the outdoors.</p>
<p>He is survived by his wife of 49 years and best friend, Shirley (Brown); his son Paul (Tracy) of Caledonia and his cherished grand daughter Robyn. His sisters Sandra Rowter of Liverpool, Jennifer Goodwin of Lower Sackville. His brothers Allen of Liverpool and Jamie (Cheryl) of Tantallon.</p>
<p>He was predeceased by his brother John.</p>
<p>Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside memorial service will be held Sunday, February 5th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Highland View Cemetery, Caledonia. A reception will follow in the Caledonia Fire Hall. <p>Whynot, John Merrill, 76, of Liverpool, passed away on Saturday, January 28th, 2012, at home.</p>
<p>Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Beatrice (Slauenwhite) and Clarence Whynot.</p>
<p>He worked for over 20 years for Mosher and Rawding Construction before going to work at the Bowater Mersey Paper company, where he worked for over 10 years up until his retirement. John enjoyed staying home and keeping an eye on his neighborhood, family and friends. He was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch # 38, Liverpool.</p>
<p>He is survived by sister Sandra (Arnold) Johnson, of Coldbrook; brothers Norman (Hazel), of Milton, Paul (Shirley), Stanley, Carl, all of Liverpool; sisters in law Jessie, Betty, both of Milton; brother in law Myron White, of British Columbia; many nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>He was predeceased by sisters Carrie, Maria; brothers James “Braddy”, Lawrence, and Donald in infancy.</p>
<p>Visitation will be held Thursday, February 2nd, from 7 -9 p.m. and a Celebration of John’s Life will be held Friday, February 3rd, 2012, at 10:30 A.M., both from Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Liverpool. Family flowers only. <p>Huskins, Bruce Horne, 86, of Port Mouton, passed away Sunday, January 29th, 2012, in the Queens Manor, Liverpool.</p>
<p>Born in Beech Hill, Queens County, he was a son of the late LeRoy and Lucy (Smith) Huskins.</p>
<p>Bruce was a school bus driver for over 33 years, during this time he also worked in the local fish plants as a handyman / carpenter. Bruce enjoyed woodworking, raising cattle, gardening, hunting, fishing and spending time at his camp. Later in life he enjoyed the company of his dogs Reubin, Muffin and Rosie.</p>
<p>He is survived by his daughters Lucy (Patrick) Burgess, of Port Joli, Dawn (Gregory) Townsend, of Bridgewater; son Wayne (Dianne) Huskins, of Westfield; grandchildren Glen (Tina) Burgess, Beth Burgess (Daphne Miller), Adam Burgess (Sophianne Kingdon), Josh Townsend, Emily Townsend; great granddaughter Olivia; sisters Harriett, Agatha; brothers Warren, Eric (Carol), Archie (Betty Lou); many nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>He was predeceased by his wife Olive; brothers George and Arnold.</p>

<p>BRIAND &#8211; Joseph Arthur, 67 of Liverpool, NS passed away at Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Jan 24th, 2012.</p>
<p>Born in L’Ardoise, Cape Breton and grew up in Grand River, Cape Breton, he was the son of the late Joseph &amp; Margaret (MacIsaac) Briand.</p>
<p>Joe was a crane operator by trade and worked on various construction sites and spent the majority of his career working on the offshore drilling rigs. He also drove bus for Acadian Lines. He lived in Dartmouth for many years where he raised his family and has lived in Liverpool the last 16 years.</p>
<p>He is survived by his partner Marsha Whynot, his sons Paul (Karen) Briand, Michael (Marge) Briand, Marcel (Christina) Briand, his daughter Maureen Briand (Stephen Ling), a stepdaughter Amy Whynot (Sarah Croxen), 8 grandchildren; Ryan, Kyle, Alexandra, Josee, James, Zachary, Max &amp; Isaac and also by Mary Briand (mother of his children). Also surviving is a sister Patricia of Ont., brothers Morton of BC and Wally of AB. and William “Billy” (Florence) MacIsaac  of  B.C.</p>
<p>Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister Bernadette (Bob) Warwick.</p>
<p>Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool where visitation will be Sunday, January 29th, 2012 from 7 until 9 p.m.. Funeral service will be Monday, January 30th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, Liverpool. Father Brian Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Liverpool. <p>BREWSTER &#8211; Alfred Charles,  75, of Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Tuesday, January 24th, 2012.</p>
<p>             Born in Brooklyn, he was a son of the late Herbert and Lucretia (Meisner) Brewster.</p>
<p>             “Alfie” was a long time employee with Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited retiring in 1994. He enjoyed playing sports, especially softball, playing up until he was 53. He played broomball for many years before taking up coaching. He loved to curl and was a member of the Mersey Bowling League as well as the Brooklyn Marina and was a scout leader for a number of years.</p>
<p>He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Theresa ( Whynot), daughter Robenia  (Heather) of Dartmouth. His sister Margaret (Dennis) Alexander of Windsor and brothers Herbert of Liverpool and Albert (Ellen) of Brooklyn; many nieces and nephews.  </p>
<p>He was predeceased by his son Trevor. Sisters Katherine “Kay” and Mildred. Brothers Edward and William.</p>
<p>Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool where visitation will be Friday, January 27th, 2012 from 7 until 9 p.m.. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 28th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Brooklyn. Chaplain Donald Lawton officiating. Burial will be in Seaside Cemetery, Brooklyn. <p>Roberton &#8211; George, 94, of  Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 21st ,2012 at Veteran’s Unit, Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.</p>
<p>Born in Onion Lake, Saskatchewan, he was the son of the late William and Katherine (Phillips) Roberton.</p>
<p>George was a veteran of World War II, serving in the R.C.N.V.R with the Corvette Navy. George also held a career as a fisherman and was known as a “jack of all trades”. He worked until his retirement with Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited in the finishing department and had a love for the outdoors especially enjoying gardening.</p>
<p>He is survived by his son Gary (Dawn) Roberton of Oakhill, Lunenburg County. Daughter-in-law Mary Roberton of Liverpool. Grandchildren Robby Roberton of Halifax, Jimmy Roberton of Liverpool and Shona (Scott) Dauphinee of Liverpool. Great-grandchildren Holly Roberton of Halifax, Kelly and David Dauphinee of Liverpool. Special friends and neighbors Jack and Lynn Conrad of Brooklyn.</p>
<p>He is predeceased by his loving wife Leota June (Kelly), son Leigh, brothers William and Robert and sisters Bernice Lucas, Cassie Wagner, Helen Coates and Gladys Cooke.</p>
<p>Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 25th, 2012 at 2.00 p.m. in Seaside Cemetery, Brooklyn. Lay Minister Peter Anthony officiating. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to  Mersey Branch #38 Royal Canadian Legion, Liverpool. <p>Crouse, Sarah Ann, 55 of West Berlin, Queens County, passed away suddenly at home Saturday, January 14th ,2012.</p>
<p>Born in Sandy Point, Shelburne County she was a daughter of the late Glen and Marion (Pictou) Roache.</p>
<p>Sarah loved hunting and fishing and worked with her husband Bradford operating the family guiding business, “Bear Facts Outfitters”, running the camp. She enjoyed playing bingo and doing native crafts for which she was well known.</p>
<p>She is survived by her husband Bradford; sons: Robert at home and David (Sabrina Drane) Bridgewater. Sisters: Julie (Larry) Hupman of Summerville, Lillian (Elmer) Wagner of West Berlin, Susie Vienneau of  Bridgewater and Barbie Vienneau of Liverpool. Brothers Glen (Jackie) of Shelburne, Norman of Yarmouth and Billy (Shelly) Vienneau of Port Mouton. Many nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>Visitation will be Wednesday, January 18th, 2012 from 7 until 9 p.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 19th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in St. John’s Anglican Church, Eagle Head. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, West Berlin. <p>Winters, Miles Donovan “Donnie”, 84, of Mersey Point, Queens County, passed away Wednesday, January 11th, 2012, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.</p>
<p>Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Gilbert and Mantana (Godfrey) Winters.</p>
<p>He was a long-time employee of Bowater Mersey as an electrician. Donnie, or Mr. Fix It, as he was affectionately known by his family and many friends could also be described as an independent thinker. He lived his life to the fullest, accomplished his dreams and shared them with others. He enjoyed piloting his plane and sailing his boat, far and abroad. He was a multi-talented, multi-faceted man, who will be greatly missed, but constantly be remembered when we look into the faces of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>He is survived by his co-pilot and his nautical 1st mate, his loving wife of 61 years, Evelyn Pauline “Polly” (Burgess); his children Bonnie Winters, Myles Winters (Paula Oickle), September Winters, Heather Winters (Barry Conrad), all of Liverpool, Holly Winters, of Vancouver; grandchildren, April, Shane, Lisa, Matthew, Daniel, Clay, Reid; great-grandchildren Drew, Kylee, Chandler, Brynn, Harley, Brandon, Sebastian, Shailyn, Adrienne, Cameron, Heather; sisters Claudia Giles, of Halifax, Naureen Mancipont, of Kingston, Nova Scotia, Dana Winters (Gary Young), of Liverpool; brother Barry (Emily), of Leduc, Alberta.</p>
<p>He was predeceased by brothers Gilbert “Kaye” and Dale.</p>
<p>Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A private family service will be held at a later date.  No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Queens General Hospital Auxiliary Fund, the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association. <p> PARNELL &#8211; Lawrence J.,  87, of Queens Manor, Liverpool, formerly of Northwest Bay, Queens County, passed away peacefully  on Sunday, January 8th, 2012 in Queens Manor.</p>
<p>     Born in Northwest Bay, he was a son of the late Walter and Phoebe (Gaetz) Parnell.</p>
<p>      Lawrence was a gravel truck driver and mechanic for Acadia Construction before joining STENPRO to work in the Engine Fitting Department from where he retired in 1989 as head of the Engine Fitters Department and “Slip Boss”. He was a lobster fisherman for all his life. He loved animals and, while at the Manor, he enjoyed watching and feeding the squirrels and birds. He was known as a grand storyteller and will be missed by his family and friends especially his grandchildren and great grandson.</p>
<p>     He is survived by his daughter Lisa of Bridgewater; son Brian (Sharon) of Northwest Bay; grandchildren: B.J. (Ashley) Nickerson; Nancy Jane Nickerson (Kirk Mulock) and Chad Parks. Great grandson Scout Nickerson. His sister Blanche Veinot of Sandy Cove.</p>
<p>       He was predeceased by his infant daughter Phoebe; sister Abbie Waters; brothers: Cecil, Robert, Clyde, Irving, Edgar and Wells.</p>
<p>       Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10th, 2012 from 7 until 9 p.m. and funeral service will be Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. both from Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. Burial will be in East Port Medway Community Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Queens Manor, Liverpool or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
