Meet my daughter: Carson!

She was born on December 20th, 2011 at 5:27pm! Weighing in at 8 lbs 1 oz, and 21.25 inches long!

I know it's been over a month now since having her, but I just received these pictures from the photographer. Things have been settling in quite nicely and can't wait to start blogging again soon!

My Halloween Costume

Heading into month 8 of pregnancy, and don't see myself dressing up elaborately for Halloween - so I made my own costume.

Hubby and I also went to a Pumpkin Patch. We found this squatty little thing.

Guess how much???? $16 dollars...............EXPENSIVE!!!!!! It's just a dang pumpkin!!! Never again...never...again...

What to wear to a modeling casting call (Go-See)

Throughout the 8 years i've been modeling (commercial/print), I've seriously learned a lot about what works and what doesn't work for a modeling casting call. These outfits that i'm going to be showing you - are THE MOST VERY BASIC!

Things to remember:
*Look as simple as possible.
*Plain is key.
*NO JEWELERY!
*Little to NO MAKEUP!
*Wear little to no deoderant (the streaks will leave a stain on your clothes AND theirs..no bueno.)
*Wear your hair down/natural. Bring a hair tie just in case.
*Always be ontime or early!
*Bring your agency book/pictures/comp cards!
*Wear strapless NUDE bra, and wear NUDE THONGS!
*Bring bathing suit! No pattern preferably. If client wants to see you in a bathing suit, arrive with it underneath your clothes!

Here are the outfits that I have chosen as my go-to looks for castings (including runway)!

Tank top (find here), skinny jeans (find here), and black heels (find here).
**Client wants to see fitted shirts/pants for a better look at what your body shape is like. Tall and lean is the KEY! Don't wear anything baggy or loose. Also, keep the layers to a MINIMUM! It will make you look bigger than usual. Tank tops are a must because clients WANT to see bare shoulders.**

Black dress (Similar one here). Perfect for Runway casting or your regular casting call.
**Dresses are ideal for runway castings because the movement and flow of the dress can help determine what the designers clothes will look like on you. Nothing too short of a dress, or too puffy works best. And showing legs are a HUGE plus! Clients want to see length! Don't forget, black heels are a MUST!**

Tank top, skirt (similar one here), and black heels.
**Also ideal for runway castings! Fitted skirts are workable because you can see your body shape easily. Nothing too short, or it will be inappropriate. Business, upscale, and model-esque is key. Not skanky. ;)**

**This is super ideal for high fashion runway casting calls. Designer wants fitted black pants because they want to see how you walk! That's probably the most important thing to remember..your walk tells all! So wear something that can help emphasize your shape while you walk.**

I'm not saying i'm a TOTAL expert at this stuff, but from my experience - this is what i've learned. Hope this helps somewhat - and work with what you GOT! Nothing has to be exact here. If all else fails - ask your agency to wear or expect from the clients. They are very helpful!

Spring inspired LIPS!

So here is my interpretation:

The lipstick that I used for this look is called - MAC Girl About Town (fuschia pink). It's an amplified cream, so top it with a gloss for a fuller look.

Now that i'm on the website..I notice it's on sale. -_-; It was not on sale when I bought them..booo hoooo

Anyway - I mentioned these in my recent Haul video..and thought i'd share some pics of what they look like on me!

My first reaction when I wore them in the store was.."WOW"! But after wearing them out for the first time...it became "OUCH!". lol..they really hurt..where my ankles are..maybe I bought a size too big. And they slouch a little..which bothers me. But probably what bothers me the most..is the FAKE LEATHER look/feel. I paid over 200$ for these boots..and they look fake. ugh. What a disappointment..Oh well. I'll still sport it - but probably not as much.

What do you think? Anyone out there buy the same pair?

Hey friends - I know it's been awhile...after my month long vacation to Europe, hubby and family went to Taiwan to celebrate Chinese New Years for 3 weeks! Needless to say, I am pooped - and SICK~!! So i'm resting up before I can get motivated again to make some videos. Here are a few pics from my trip to Taiwan:

**EDIT** In all honesty..this is a lazy post. Because some of you have been writting to me saying I need to update more. So here ya go. LOL boring post I know..but my Corel Video editor isn't working either..so no posts until everything is fixed dangit!! I've had this nail polish lid stuck for quite some time now. My dad even took a wrench to it in hopes of it coming loose. But no luck - until today :) It seems to me, that this only happens the MOST with my OPI nail polishes...(Vodka and Caviar) Here's how to: Head to your bathroom sink Turn on your hot water Plug your sink to catch the water Place bottle face down - make sure the water level is stopped RIGHT AT THE LID. Don't submerge the whole bottle - heat can change the consistency of the nail polish. Then that's it! I seriously thought my OPI nail polishes were a goner - but this trick really does WORK! Also, to avoid having this happening again - wipe off the bottle before you screw the cap back on :) Cynthia

Poor froggy and other miscellaneous things..like spiders..wasps..crickets..etc. that end up dying in my pool. I fished it out with a net, and threw it into the bushes.
