The struggle you’re in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow. Don’t give up. — Robert Tew

To struggle doesn’t mean we’re weak. To struggle means, we’re pushing forward in spite of the difficulty at the moment. It is not always easy to focus when there are distractions. It is not easy to push forward when we don’t feel like doing it. It is not easy to take another step when we have doubting thoughts swirling inside our heads. It is not easy when there is not enough time to put in the effort. It is especially not easy to strive for better when there are others not supportive and doubting us. However, we must not give up and given to our weaknesses but build on the strengths and courage that we acquired over the years.

Life is not alway easy. We all struggle through the waves of life. We have to accept the waves of life. Accepting the waves of life helps us to get through life’s challenges. And during our struggle we learn how to cope with new skills, we learn skills to ride the waves. We can help each other and support each other through the difficulties of life. We don’t have to go through life alone since we struggle with the same kinds of things.

Imagination is the true magic carpet. — Norman Vincent Peale

What we imagine can be possible. Imagination stimulates the mind into thinking of the possibility of making something happen. What was untouchable has become touchable, and that’s magic. When something is touchable, it becomes easily manageable. We can see what was once was in our mind’s eye we can now touch with our hand. If we just look at things around us, we will see what was once imagined (ideas) have now been made of things. It is by our nature to think up something and then make it real. There is no room for doubt, when we’re our minds is full of imagination.

Quality is not an act, it is a habit. — Aristotle

A habit is acquired experiences. It takes time to develop. An act is unreal and not genuine because it pretends to do something temporarily enough for show. It’s like hiding from someone under water while holding your breath long enough for the person to give up to look elsewhere. Quality is lasting because it takes time and patience to fine-tune things to make better. Most of us like quality things and we’re willing to pay more for them than something with poor quality. We know somebody carefully put in a lot of time, effort and care to produce quality into something we find most valuable.

Don’t let yesterday use up too much of today. — Cherokee Proverb

The above quote is a good description on how we spend too much of our time in the past while taking our time away from our present. There is nothing left in our present when we spend our time in the past. Let us not lose any more time in the past. Instead, start enjoying our present where we have more control on how we want to live our lives rather than trying to change what was. Today we celebrate by living our lives now. It is more meaningful to live in the moment than to live vicariously in the past. Our past is just a projection of our memories. Today we create happier memories for tomorrow.

Great acts are made up of small deeds. — Lao Tzu

We always want to get involved with the best part of a project. However, there will be times that we will have to do mundane parts of the project. In fact, there is usually the mundane or the small deeds that will help complete everything. We ought not to underestimate the little things we have to do because this stuff is the foundation of everything we do. Besides, it is much easier to manage the little things. Completing small tasks are always a good reinforcer to encourage us to do more.

It makes us wonder when we see what’s possible. After we see what’s possible, it makes one wonder what’s beyond the possibility. But first, we must entertain the fact what’s possible and then have the courage to leap into the unknown that seems to be the impossible. What appears to be impossible is only a measure of what we don’t know yet. We have to learn, experience and be open to new ideas for us to get a glimpse of what is beyond the possible and into the impossible.

Set peace of mind as your highest goal, and organize your life around it. — Brian Tracy

We all want peace in our lives. Sometimes we need to withdraw from our busy lives and to sit back and relax. When we slow down, our minds will slow down as well. It is nice to unwind. It is good for us to do so from time to time. We need to retreat when we’re a little off centered. It is a time to center ourselves so we can be at our best when we do return to the fast pace world. We can come back happier and recharged to take on the days. We return with a clear mind and we can see now our path or decisions we have that can make a difference in life.

A year from now you may wish you had started today. — Karen Lamb

Whatever we’re dreaming about doing, start it today, because it may take a year or more to see progress. We will experience ups and downs in our journey for success. It’s not going to be easy. We will want to give up. We will make excuses not to continue. But a year or two from now we will look back to see that we’ve made progress and things are starting to fall into place. We’re beginning to see that our hard work is paying off. We’re that much closer to fulfilling our dreams.

Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out. — John Wooden

When we make the best of the way things turn out, we’re seizing on the opportunity to do our best. Others usually take notice when we make an earnest effort and turn, for example, a disaster or unplanned event into something the can bring positive vibes into the situation. Things won’t always go as plan, and it is better to expect the unexpected and deal with the situation accordingly instead of getting upset. We can always figure out something or accept the reality that we can’t completely fulfill our expectations.
