I've long been meaning to write however, I just started my new home-based job so I am reading a lot of modules and training materials to better equip me to face the challenges ahead. September will be over in a couple of minutes [maybe it will be over even before I publish this post]. As early as the first week of this month, as I was doing my usual mall rounds [ha!] I've seen the usual

I keep on forgetting that I should be posting something here in my own blog -- it is just so easy to blog hop and read what everyone else wrote. Sometimes Oftentimes, I am just so engrossed reading other people's blogs, their opinions on food, fashion, new gadgets, make up, what they have to say on the most latest movie/s or where they travel [I think I can go an entire day sticking up my nose on

The ultimate fasyon planner is cooking yet another rendezvous not long after its recently concluded event entitled, BDJ Rendezvous: Your Confidence Check-Up. I have attended the event last September 11 at The Ramp Crossings, Shangri-La Mall, Edsa and haven't blogged it yet, so that would be an entirely different post. For the mean time, those who wanted to join the event can read on the

Resorts World Manila has been creating a buzz lately, though it's not that surprising as it is one of the most luxurious chains of hotels in the world. It is a sister company of Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore and Resorts World Genting in Malaysia. It is a new luxury casino resort located in Newport City, across Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3. This resort is said to be a

I have always been a fan of stage plays and film festivals featuring international artists/directors and even those local indie films (they are called such because they are created by independent film makers, not sensationalized by local network giants) that are usually not given prime tube ad spot. Those that doesn't have the latest 'it boy/girl' in their cast. Those that 'flop' in our local

Every girl wants to look good - some makes extra effort to look really good and put on enhancers, like make up, while others are much simpler and loves their face, au naturelle. But whether you are the girlie-girl type or the simple gal you definitely have secret rituals to keep your skin clean and looking fresh, yes? After all, a clean face is a good canvas (if you're going to put colors/

Long before Twilight even exist, there is already the Vampire Chronicles and before we have Stephenie Meyer, Anne Rice already gave us bits and pieces about vampires and their world. I remember watching Interview with the Vampire starring Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Kirsten Dunst. As a child, I have always been fascinated by the mysteries of vampires and the underworld (I really don't like our

I have always been a fan of Nicholas Sparks. If I want a good cry, I'll read his books. It's not that his books are one-of-a-kind and 100% extraordinaire, but there's something extraordinary on how he delivers those ordinary stories, you get my drift?  His novels are truly heart-wrenching and a tear-jerker. A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, Nights in Rodanthe, A Bend in the Road (though it

I always wonder what was 1980's like. I was born in mid 80's but was not old enough to have a decent experience of this era. All I can remember is the humongous shoulder pads and real big wigs 'do. This is also the era of the baby boomers (methinks!) and the decade with a tremendous population growth. 1980's Hair Styles. This is the glorious era for bangs (as in a full bangs) and teased-hairs.

I know, I just can't get enough of 'em! image from 'Double Identity' episode (hmm, intriguing huh?) It's September and one of the many reasons I look forward to this month is the return of Manhattan's upper east side's irritatingly adorable characters! Are you ready to peak once again at their scandalously interesting lives? Here's a sneak peak.. Mark your calendars,

I am blogging as it is cathartic - it gives me a feeling of peace and freedom. It brings me joy everytime the article I am typing gets to the stage wherein I actually hit the publish button -- oftentimes though, laziness is getting the best of me.. or could it be what they call writer's block?? Personally, I'm not sure, all I know is an idea will hit me and then I find my fingers caressing the

Hello, I just turned 25.. Unlike all those who jotted down a list of to do things since they turned 25, I will list down things I have accomplished before I reached my silver year.. and hopefully I will be able to enumerate 25 things (otherwise, I will just have to add to my list before I reach my golden years.. heehee) So, on to the list.. 1. Graduated from college (this is really included!)

Seems like high school days are so long ago.  We already went to different colleges and universities. Some graduated, others still pursuing their degrees, there are those who's working away from home and a few who migrated to different countries. I'm grateful for social networking sites like Facebook®, it connects each and everyone of us. It helps make our world smaller. It became witness to

One of my fave no-brainer R&R spot in the metro is the Ace Water Spa located in Del Monte Avenue, Quezon City. I first learned of the Hydrotherapy Massage they offer in one of the coupons of the Belle De Jour Planner. What is Ace Water Spa? According to their website: "ACE Water Spa traces back its concept to word SPA- derived from the Latin Phrase “Salus per Aquam” or “Sanitus per Aquam”

Feeling stressed? Does your day night job drains the life out of you? Personally, whenever I feel stressed or emotional I tend to overeat (lucky me, it doesn't just show, yet). Methinks, this is common to men women as we turn towards food to comfort us in times of depression, sadness or what-have-yous.  It is not bad to forego our diet once in a while, however, stress-eating and

The Twilight Saga fans maybe divided into Team Edward and Team Jacob, but come June 30, 2010 they will unite and march to their neighborhood's theaters and watch as Eclipse, another Twilight saga will be released. Learn how a vampire (Edward) and a wolf, supposedly a shape-shifter (Jacob) will fight for and are willing to die for the human girl (Bella) they love. Watch the

Nowadays, I think I’m running on autopilot and I think I’m running towards self-destruction! Is it really dead-end for my current situation? Is it just burnout or is my irregular working hours already activating my stress hormones and thus this unexplainable crappy feeling?!I am spending so much time on the internet as it makes me forget everything (just what shopping does too!) and makes me

Finally! Months (or was it years?) of reasoning out why I need a netbook came to a halt last week, as we've decided to get me a pretty nifty li'l lappie (and it's a dainty pink!) I was so excited as I think of the things I'll be writing and photos I will be posting. I keep smiling to myself as I draft and hang on to the train of thoughts which I think were good for my blogging articles. But,

This is a must for every bookworm! Look at the list and bold those you have read. Italicize those you intend to read. Underline the books you LOVE! 1 Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen 2 The Lord of the Rings - JRR Tolkien 3 Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte 4 Harry Potter series - JK Rowling 5 To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee 6 The Bible (partial) 7 Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte 8 Nineteen

Turkey Day in the US! Wee no work! Oh well, it doesnt matter since the day is really my work off. Anyway, half of the team (i think..) went on a resort in Pundaquit, Zambales. It's 1.5 hours away from Subic, but since we're not familiar with the place (well i think none of us really know) it probably took us moooore than that. The road to the resort is, well sorta creepy (its pitch dark when we

This is a super late post, but anyway here goes: We celebrated our 1st milestone last November 9, 2008 up in the City of Pines. This is also timely since I'm already burned out from the hustle bustle in the work place. It's very relaxing to feel the cool November breeze, smell the scent of pine trees around and just take our own sweet time exploring the city --the best part is-- we have each

Had my birthday getaway last July 26 to July 29. It was an awesome weekend! Away from the rat-race and the stressful traffic jam in the metro. Went out of town with my boo at Subic's Blue Rock Resort for a rainy swimming. Got the rain, sand and salt waters on our hair and skin. It was fun, specially if you get to spend it with someone closest to your heart. PS: My besfriends send their
