Still getting the slight nausea but no where as bad as it was when I first began this program.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I brought it a little harder this week so I am very proud of that...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;and in the famous words of Tony Horton... That recovery drink is MONEY!!!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I usually put a bottle of water in the freezer right before I begin my workout and then pour that icy goodness in my water bottle, add the recovery drink mix, and then shake it till I get a good froth on the top... Yummy!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I thinking of these last three weeks as an opportunity for me to see what my body can do... getting a feel for P90X and my abilities within it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Things I know...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;I feel stronger, &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;My lung capacity had increased, &lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt;I feel better about myself.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What better reason than that do I need to keep pressing play?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well I have a couple of clients that are looking to me for advice, guidance, and clarification. Alarm blaring in the next room...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I looked over to my right to see if that mule that was there a couple of weeks ago had passed out from the exhaustion that he must be experiencing from kicking me in the head. He couldn&#39;t be found.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I got out of the bed... trudged to the bathroom to find the alarm clock&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;and... And... I purposely keep my alarm clock in the bathroom (which is right next to my bedroom) so that I have to get up and move around in order to turn that thing off. At 5:30 in the morning... If that was in my bedroom I would turn it off and roll right back to la la land... lol&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I get up and walk with my eyes closed... to turn it off.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;AND THEN I PRESS PLAY!!!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Evil... Evil... Evil...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Plyo &amp;amp; Nausea are synonymous for me... BUT not nearly as bad as week 1!!!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&#39;m getting stronger... my form is getting better... And I am hella excited about that.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are a few moves where I can&#39;t leave the ground just yet but I just modify those and get on my tippy toes and reach as high as I can.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&#39;ll be airborne soon with those....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&#39;ll get you Tony Horton... next time&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh yeah... There will be a next time...&lt;br /&gt;This ain&#39;t over until the fat lady sings... Lucky for me buy the time I start singin&#39;... I got in really late last night from a concert and really didn&#39;t think that I would be up to meet my buddies in WOWY.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I feel great about my performance... although I still haven&#39;t been able to get up from that dive bomber. But that&#39;s better than not trying it at all... lol&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But... Alas... at 8:15 this morning... my eyes were opened and I crawled out of bed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I brought it today... and guess what?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I did Ab Ripper X!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Almost as soon as I got through the In &amp;amp; Outs I felt like I had to vomit. Yeah... it was rough. I kept pressing through the pain and discomfort and was able to do a good portion of it. My belly fat makes some of the moves awkward but I am doing my best. Even though I know that I&#39;m not doing some of the moves exactly as Tony &amp;amp; the Kids are... I know I am doing my best. The day that I&#39;m able to do that move without modification I&#39;m gonna celebrate like you wouldn&#39;t believe!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have always thought that I am pretty flexible... but there are some parts of my body that I can&#39;t wait to disappear. My belly for one thing... And my boobs... Those things get in the way like nobody&#39;s business!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Poof I say... BE GONE!!! There are two parts that I really struggled with last week and struggled with this week as well but I was able to complete more reps and add the 15lb resistance bands to... That was the highlight of my workout..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh that.... and the fact that your girl made it *almost* to the end of her workout without feeling like the Plyo minions had stolen all of the oxygen out of my living room!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So while I still had 14 minutes to go... there were two things that I took note of...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;I did twenty minutes more than I did last week&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;I only felt like nauseous at the 40 minute mark!&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;Soooooooooooooooooooooooo You know what that means... There is hope for this Fluffy Chic... Who won&#39;t be so fluffy for that much longer!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Keep Pressing Play Folx! It works.... If YOU work!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;*You know how those twelve step programs have, well, 12 steps?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well each of those P90X videos represents a step for me!!!!! You think its a coincidence that there are 12 videos? I think not.... I figure once the form is right... the reps will come.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My goal is to become stronger, faster, and leaner... I know it will come. I am a work in progress... and as long as I take at least one step every day I have done something huge for myself.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This week my Resistance Bands Upgrade Kit should arrive. Then I can simulate the chin-ups/pull-ups more accurately.
