I use Benefit High Beam to achieve my shimmer effect. Use your fingers or a makeup brush with artificial hair, also known as a concealer brush.

To widen close set eyes and create an open-eyed look, apply shimmer dust in the inside corner of your eyes over your regular eye shadow. Some people may swear by Pinkie Swear Diva Dust. Apply using a sponge tip applicator.

Be sure to only put the highlighter on spots you want to emphasize.

Glow baby glow!

Let the True You Shine Through! Part I

And don't let the oily shine hide you. What do you do to take care of shine that develops on your face through out the day?

Please don't say powder. Powder is a temporary mask that can actually increase oiliness. The best way to combat the unwanted sheen is to use oil absorbing sheets. They absorb oil without messing up your makeup and come in little packets you can slip in your purse.

How to Use:

Gently press a sheet on the oily areas of your face. Repeat as needed.

These are available at the drugstore - Clean & Clear makes them. If you like a more sophisticated approach, you can get Boscia Fresh Blotting Linens in three varieties: Original, Green Tea, and Lavender, at Sephora.

Dazzling!

The Belle Curve

Audrey Hepburn. Eva Longoria. Marilyn Monroe. Halle Berry. Isla Fisher. America Ferrera. Keira Knightley.

All these women are beautiful yet so different. Who is to say which one is the prettiest? No one! As a woman, you should celebrate your own unique look. No one is perfect, but many people have one or two features that are spectacular in their own right.

Do you have gorgeous eyes? Are your cheekbones high and wide? Maybe you have a great nose. Whatever it is, let that be your guide. You want to play up your better features and downplay your less perfect ones.

Addison
Addison has beautiful deep brown eyes but heavy acne on her cheeks. To downplay her acne, Addison should use a cream based concealer and a neutral lip color. Now we want to bring attention to her gorgeous peepers!

Addison should wear a bright eyeshadow that contrasts with the color of her eyes and include a complementing eyeliner and mascara. A combination that would go great on her is sky blue eye shadow, navy eye liner and black mascara.

Talia
Talia has great features all around, including smooth even skin. Her only drawback is very thin lips. How can she make them look plumper?

Talia would line her lips with lip liner that matches her lipstick or is lighter. She should put the liner just outside of her own natural lipline, using her own as a guide. Next is to fill the lips with lipstick, blending it with the lipliner.

As a last step, Talia would put clear lip gloss in only in the center of each lip - the pout points.

Mwa! You look beautiful.
