They do have plans available where you can add routine care coverage for annual office visits and vaccinations for an additional premium. Pets Best offers three different plans depending on what deductible you choose, the per incident limit and the lifetime limit. They even pay for alternative treatment for acupuncture and chiropractic care. One of the cons to this company is that as your pet gets older, the premiums will go up each year.

Trupanion Insurance

Trupanion Insurance makes it easy to purchase insurance coverage for your dog or cat. There are not numerous plans to have to go through to choose the best one for your pet. Trupanion offers one comprehensive pet insurance policy that will pay 90% of your veterinarian bill for surgeries, diagnostic tests, hospital stays, and medications when your pet is injured or gets sick. There is no predetermined benefit schedule to worry about. You are free to take your pet to any veterinarian, but there is a deductible and Trupanion does not pay on the basic office visit charge. However, Trupanion does not put any per incident, annual limit or lifetime limit on pet health benefits.
