After the rain

2011-05-01T03:39:00.000-07:00

After the rain came my need of embracing the camera and having fun around the garden. So, about the non-alcoholic mojito drink you see : it's good. The only problem is when you associate it with the cigarettes, it creates a strange flavor in your mouth (but if you don't smoke don't start). Anyway as you may have noticed I just love after rain photos, maybe because I like the raindrop effect on the things ( I think the award for originality will never be mine). That pretty muzzle you see belongs to Siria (my dog). In one of the next post I'll introduce her. Her talent ? Shaking your hand.

So cute

My new favourite drink

2011-04-26T12:05:00.000-07:00

ecco il mio nuovo drink preferito : fi.GA'

here you have my new favourite drink : fi.GA'

scarpe : h&m
occhiali: asos

it's a fresh juice with guaranà flowers, it gives you a lot of energy. without colorants or preservatives . very fresh and fit for summer. i've found it by pure case. I loved the bottle and the taste was explosive : fresh and deices (has also a mix of fruits). I would like to mix it with a bit of vodka in able to create something of alcoholic with this touch of freshness. andrea loved it too and he agreed to be my model for a few shots. today we enjoyed a walk at villa borghese even if the weather was strange. an advice : try it (it's really good).

shoes : h&m
sunglasses : asos

Sunshine, sand and fish

2011-04-15T04:13:00.000-07:00

"The sunsets horrify me, so romantic, so opera." said Proust and Proust is always right of course but with this sentence he's right more than ever. I always refused the idea of embracing my camera and direct it on the sunset. Sunsets are poetry, music, art and in my eyes they are so melting that it doesn't make any sense taking a picture. But this time I could not resist and on the highway towards Fiumicino I gave up, and now I'm a sunsetist too. Why Fiumicino? I went there with some friend to eat fresh fish in a cute restaurant where you need to book a table 2 months earlier… no, it's not that kind…tres tres chic or very expensive…nooo way…you have to book early because the food is fantastic (it's a great value for money ) but also because it's very small (50 seats). Bacchus, an elegant restaurant with fish specific in the heart of Fiumicino with an open-plan kitchen and many many interesting plates (especially the appetizers, two examples : dried salt-cured cod with gorgonzola, blue cheese, and raspberries , or slightly cooked tuna with fried rocket and strawberries with aromatic vinegar ). When the desserts arrived, I couldn't control the photographer in me and used my reflex for a few pictures. Before arriving at the restaurant I went on the beach . . . I needed to feel the sand beneath my feet, the wind in my hair and the perfume of the violent waves. I went nuts!

turchese, forse blu o forse azzurro

2011-04-13T02:55:00.000-07:00

Bonnie Tyler - it's a heartache ( SUBLIME)

2011-04-08T09:32:00.000-07:00

It's a heartache, nothing but a heartache
Hits you when it's too late, hits you when you're down
It's a fools' game, nothing but a fool's game
Standing in the cold rain, feeling like a clown

It's a heartache, nothing but a heartache
Love him 'till your arms break, then he'll let you down

It ain't right with love to share
When you find he doesn't care for you
It ain't wise to need someone as much as I depended on you

Bonnie Tyler - It's a heartache (1978)

wonderful Bonnie. this song is like a drug for me...when I put it on stay sure that I'll hear it for another twenty times on and on. it doesn't have any sense to sing the praises of this text... it's sublime in it's semplicity.

vegetarian grill

2011-04-08T07:28:00.000-07:00

Sorry, I've disappeared for a while. Here I am again with new photos and adventures. Lucky me the spring arrived in Rome. Blossomed trees, longer days and of course the heat. I hate cold so for me heat = happiness. So I thought I should organize a barbecue (of course a vegetarian one) in my lovely garden. Everything happened because that day a good friend of mine came back from a wonderful voyage he had in Asia ( 7months). A lot of adventures and beautiful photos (he's a fantastic photographher). Maybe soon he'll have his own blog . . . it would be great.

1, 2 - the grill

3 - the auberges

4 - green olives and auberges

5 - the peperoni (I just love grilled peperoni)

6, 7 - zucchini (they are awesome, they are fast and need just a little bit of oil and salt)

8 - bread ( for bruschette . . . mmm)

9 - this strange thing you see . . . just auberges ( and old french recipe. . . you grill them without cutting them and when outside they are black you just take the inside out and smash it with salt and oil… it comes out a fantastic cream for bruschette… I usually add some mayo )

10, 11 - small tomatoes and black olives (perfect for bruschette )

12, 13 - a little snail passing by

14, 15 - my brand new ballerinas ( with metallic inserts - they make a cute jewel shoe effect)

16 - 28 - my blossomed garden

Some more Israeli

2011-04-02T08:11:00.000-07:00

1, 2, 3 - Tre bellissimi gatti israeliani. I gatti erano ovunque, molto affettuosi e belli.

Camicia : Giorgio Armani
Tracolla : Burberry
Occhiali : Ray Ban (P limited edition)

13 - La bandiera israeliana…onnipresente.

Polo : Lacoste (colore grigio, edizione coccodrillo dorato)

1,2,3- Three beautiful Israeli cats. the cats were everywhere, very loving and cute. They advices us not to touch them and obviously I didn't listen . . . obviously.

4, 5, 6, 7, 8 - And here you have my fiancé, Andrea, at the Dead sea. That day was wonderful for him, he had a lot of fun. I had some issues like I said before, with salt… it burned like hell (I discovered like a hundred of cuts and bruises that I didn't know existed on my body, an advice: don't wax the day before) . Andrea, instead, had a nice experience . . .he laughed, he played, he read his imaginary newspaper and did some scuba diving (don't try to do it - the pain is incredible… the eyes are too sensitive).
Bathing suite : Burberry

9, 10, 11, 12 -Haifa (wonderful city . . . for it's landscape, for the dock, for the clean sea, for the beautiful cats, for the secret gardens- not everyone can visit and for the food). Andrea sent hours and hours admiring the landscape, couldn't get him off.

I love this blog, it makes me smileeeee (smile is important)

Amo questo blog, mi fa sorridereeeeee (sorridere è importante)

the lesson of the day is...

2011-03-31T10:07:00.000-07:00

Over analysing things will lead you to the wrong conclusions . . . Like:

if he gives you flowers with no reason
if he says he loves you
if he calls you 10 times
if he uses the napkin at the restaurant
if he opens the door for you
and so on . . .

Maybe he's not a serial killer ex convict that slept with your bestfriend and wants to sell your left kidney to an important asian politician because he thinks that your hair is strange... just maybe!!!

Come:

Israele . . . other details

2011-03-30T03:03:00.000-07:00

5- limoni,limoni e ancora limoni

HAVE FUN AND HOPE YOU'LL ENJOY !!!

Hi there
