I imagine all over the world there are Amtrak Maps in peoples’ houses that have a little magnetic train moving across the it. The train is moved every time they receive a cell call: “I’m in Syracuse now.”

On the train people keep updating their friends and family. To me it is over kill as far as keeping people track. I wonder if the future is like that for everything. —- I am coming up the stairs.

At every station you see people making a couple phone calls and then start texting people. I think some of it has to do with you have cell service in station and not so much when you are in between towns. Or if you do it might fade in the middle of a call.

Then there is all the cell chirping in the stations. The noise that the phones are making to let people know they have messages.

I was able to sleep pretty good on the trip. About an hour in the station, then about 6-7 hours on the train. Of course on the train I was woke up about once every 70 minutes

I have a lot to do to catch up with, so this is going to be pretty short.

If you have been following this on a regular bases, thanks for stopping by. Even if you are coming here a month after I have moved on, I appreciate you keeping track.

I am removing all search and starting a new blog — it will be the same ol same ol, but I made a mistake the other day. I sent a message to the local library and because I was logged into my wordpress account, it showed up in that e-mail. I am not sure if they will follow the account here, but I figured it is time to move on. rock on.

 sleep before long day

Had lunch, then read in the library for a while. Quiet again here and I could take a nap. I was thinking not sleeping might be good because I could then sleep on the train or possibly in the train station.

I am hoping the cold weather in NY isn’t going to affect the train schedule. It is going to be a long day — into the time I get home on Saturday. I am hoping this is a slow travel day and there is lots of room on the Train. There is no doubt I need a nap.

I wish I had discovered this google docs at the beginning of the vaca.

I might do two blogs tomorrow and/or sunday — the start of new and the good-bye here. I will miss the chatter.

This is the point where I feel so good that I think work will be different when I return. I hope it is true.

How ironic. I have been wondering about Bristol Palin ’sPregnancy and there is news of the birth. Well the baby was born 12/27/09 (tax break for Bristol — if she had a job), but not revealed til now. 27.

What made me think about it is all the campaign info, now that there are end of the year round ups.

Time to find some nap time.

buddha.gifPlayed Apples to Apples card game last night. I really like that game. I don’t play it much though. Drank way too much.

I started a habit on zen habits — to not eat after 9 p.m. for the month of January. On the forum you post a goal and then track it. Even though it is a goal for one month I would like to keep it going all year. My first two days might be the hardest, since my friend likes to eat at 9 p.m. Also, tomorrow is going out with friends night then riding on the train. That is going to be hard. When I snack on the train, is it before 9 p.m. or te next day. I need to check the train today in a moment.

I am going to keep this short and my estimate is it is the next to last one on this blog. Switching on Sunday..

buddhaI am wondering how my weight will go, after eating so much rich food, then tappering off. Big day tomorrow — lunch with the boys and then dinner with couples. After that I hop on the train.

I am really behind on the Sara the Snowy Owl story. Some because I lost the story when I uploaded software, some just not enthused

Had a nice walk today — seems easier with a good pace and friends
