Chayanne will not perform in Laguna next September as planned. The crisis and the costly demands of the show to be offered by the Puerto Rican artist during the Fiestas del Cristo, have forced the area to break the contract with Rolo Productions.  

“I’m sorry that Chayanne cannot perform in La Laguna but be realistic. They demanded a brand of microphones, pianos and drums that are not in Spain. Furthermore, in a choreographed show that will include an elevator that we cannot obtain in our country, they should have brought the material from the United States, “said Festival Councilman, Jonathan Dominguez.

Earlier this year it was announced that the highlight of the programming of the Fiestas del Cristo would be the performance of the Puerto Rican singer and dancer. It was the artist himself who announced the news during a visit to the island when he was on Premios Cadena Dial 2009.  

“I’ll be in La Laguna in the tour of my new album, a journey that begins on the 19th of August and will perform as well in other Spanish cities including Madrid, Valencia, La Coruña … several major cities,” said the singer to this newspaper last February.

A few months later, the local Corporation closed the contract with the producer and tickets were put on sale for 26 euros. The inescapable date for fans of Chayanne was set for September 19 at 21:00.

Although it was not until today when the council for the scheduling of the Festivity to celebrate the feast of Christ communicated the cancellation of Chayanne’s performance, Dominguez announced that “we had an investment for this concert of 50,000 euros for a single day. We cannot spend this money when we cut everywhere, even the party committees of the various districts of the municipality. ”

The Councillor for Fiestas also explained that when we proposed that the concert was held in La Laguna, it was agreed with the producer that the artist use the same stage with materials we already had for the Fiestas del Cristo. Besides, we were going to commission security, close the plaza and put in more lights ”

At that time, the Corporation estimated that “the extra cost of Chayanne’s concert would be between 18,000 and 30,000 euros for the artist’s fee which was going to be covered by the sale of tickets,” added the mayor. However, the 50,000 euros to rent the elevator and the rest of the material has prevented the Harriers enjoy the show.

Chayanne begins the second part of his tour in Spain

The Puerto Rican singer Chayanne will begin the second part of the Spanish tour of “No Hay Imposibles’ on Friday that will during the months of August and September traveling through 13 cities.
Chayanne performs in Ciudad Real (August 20), Cadiz (21), Palma de Mallorca (25), Santiago de Compostela (27), Santander (28), Zaragoza (September 3), Leon (4), Málaga (9 ), Murcia (10), Granada (11) and Valencia (15), in addition to singing in the Palau Olimpic de Barcelona (17) and the Palacio de Deportes de Madrid (18).

The tour includes ten musicians and six dancers, who are part of a team of 70 people. The scenery is built at different heights, connected with ramps and stairs, plus an elevator for the appearance of the artist, born in 1968 in Rio Piedras, whose real name is Elmer Figueroa Arce.

With 90 square meters of LED screens, the ‘tour’ also has 130 tons of equipment, 120,000 watts of sound and 300,000 watts of lighting. Total of six trailers and 90 mobile art lights complete the device.

“Contagious To The Public”

Chayanne began the Spanish tour of ‘No Hay Imposibles on May 28th at the Latino Valladolid Festival. In it, the singer, dancer and actor presents his new album, which bears the same title of the tour and songs extracted are ‘Me enamoré de ti’, ‘Dame, dame’, ‘No hay imposibles’ o ‘ Tu boca’.’. However, he also sang classics such as ‘Salome’ or ‘Torero’.
 
“When I started with Los Chicos at the age of ten I was a child and was playing,” recalled the artist in May, when he presented the tour in Madrid. “Then I decided to go solo because I saw those great personalities such as Julio Iglesias, whom I admire very much, because he is a hard worker with great concerts, full of people. That shows me that nothing is impossible,” said Chayanne, who is convinced “Everything can be reached” and aims to “spread the public” with his optimism.

“One is optimistic and that’s what I want to convey in my concerts. That we must look at things with light and fight for what you want,” continued the artist, who arrived in Spain “with his heart in his hand.”

 Today sees the launch of “If you’re gone,” the third single from No Hay Imposibles and People en Espanol brings it for you to enjoy

If anyone has a solid musical career, this is Chayanne, whose name is familiar to at least the last two generations of Latin Americans. The Puerto Rican star has more than twenty musical productions, including No Hay Imposibles, most recently, which is the name of the tour that will keep him traveling around the world in the coming months.

“If you’re gone,” is the third single from the album and today PeopleEnEspanol.com brings you in to enjoy it and tell us if you like it. The song, written by his compatriot Carlos Ponce, is now available in digital format. The video for the track will be recorded in the month of September in Spain.

Nothing Hay Imposibles is a disc composed of eleven songs, among which include “Tu Boca,” “Me pierdo”, “No hay imposibles”, “Besos en la boca” and “Siento”, among others. Once again, the Puerto Rican artist of 42 years, printed his stamp, romantic and warm, yet happy and full of rhythm to his songs.

]]> Contrary to many legends of vampires that have been popularized in the movie, the series starring the Puerto Rican singer Chayanne on that subject, is rather a love story.

But that has not prevented his habits to be increasingly closer to one of these nocturnal creatures.

“This is a beautiful story that has made me change my whole way of life in a matter of months. I have the entire schedule upside down, I say really, I am a vampire!” said the dancer also in an interview with the Reforma.

“We recorded at night, do everything possible to ensure that what is more real as possible, and I feel that I am someone else. After several weeks, I became used to it , but a mismatch has been very strong in my biological clock,” he said.

Contrario a muchas leyendas de vampiros que se han popularizado en el cine, la serie que protagonizará el cantante puertorriqueño Chayanne sobre ese tema, es más bien una historia de amor.

Sin embargo, eso no ha evitado que sus hábitos cada vez se parezcan más a los de una de estas criaturas nocturnas.

“Se trata de una bella historia que me ha hecho cambiar todo mi sistema de vida en cuestión de meses. Tengo todo el horario al revés, lo digo de veras, ¡soy un vampiro!”, dijo el también bailarín en una entrevista con el diario Reforma.

“Grabamos de noche, hacemos todo lo posible para que se vea lo más real posible, y siento que soy otra persona. Después de varias semanas, ya me acostumbré, pero ha sido un desajuste muy fuerte en mi reloj biológico”, aseguró.
