2014-06-07T16:37:00.001+08:00

So I woke up late today since I came in roughly 5ish in the morning...
Got bored so I opened FB and scroll down and saw this multi-language version of Frozen.

I watched the entire video, yes multi-language it is..

but there's one missing.. so I searched and found this two version..

Now which is the better version that truly captures the essence of the song?

And then i came across this... a beki version!

Now here's the battle of the local singers..

Regine Velasquez' version

versus

Sarah Geronimo

Hope you enjoyed watching these YouTube videos as I did.

2014-06-04T18:02:00.000+08:00

So finally I had time to bake my most requested Oatmeal Cookies. They say its to die for?! Oh well, thank you my dear friends. A dear colleague gave me 3.5 out of 5! Hellyah!

She said "amm hmmmm let me take another buh-buh-bite (on second thought.. big bite and then swallows the entire cookie), you could make a fortune with these... I'll be your marketing arm! the other said "I'll help you as well! Oh someone is asking how much are you selling this monster?"

The Master Baker | Magnolia Fudge Brownies

2014-04-17T16:56:00.000+08:00

It's one of those spontaneous times when I suddenly walked into the supermarket and brought ingredients for my oatmeal cookies but ended up buying the Magnolia Fudge Brownie mix.

First time I glanced at the box I said to myself.. buy it! and the box responded.. buy me!

It was perfectly baked until I left it at the oven.. haha, next time I need to check that timer...

Mang Inasal

2014-04-16T18:06:00.002+08:00

Hell yeah.. one of the most ever last post as I was in hiatus... or crazy much and bored to post...

One of the too many food trip that the team had. Mang Inasal is the one fast food name you'll hear from R1 when she's hungry. She would bathe the rice with Chicken Oil with spices.

If your fried chicken addict, try their two-piece chicken drizzle it with chicken oil, soy sauce with calamansi and chilli and you'll have your appetite full.

Starbucks 2014 Planner

2014-04-16T17:58:00.000+08:00

As one of my tradition of spending for my yearly planner... it wasn't as expensive as back in the early years wherein you have to have 20 regular beverage and 20 Christmas Blends stickers. For the 2014 planner, you have to collect 18 stickers.

The Starbucks Card was just an additional expense, nice to have collect it.

Jollibee | Cheesy Bacon Mushroom Champ

2014-04-16T17:53:00.003+08:00

It's one of those days when Marvie was craving for the advertised "Cheesy Bacon Mushroom Champ" and we finally had it one night during our shift...

ME: So Marvie, hows the Cheesy Bacon Mushroom Champ?

Marvie: hmmm I'm about to have my first bite?! Will you please shut up and let me eat?!

ME: hmm ok

We did after all had the same burger since Marvie was advertising it as delish as the commercial... Sorry to say it was just as regular as the commercial... or we're just hungry and have no other choice...

Chef Chie during the wine lecture, its nice to be cultured every once in a while.

Did you know that there are 4 types of wine? I only know the classic Red and White Wines..

So aside from the White and Red, there is a so called Sparkling Wine which is good for an afternoon delight or a mid-day drinking or even good for appetizers, though there are some white wines that are intended for appetizers. Of course we all know that the white wine is best partnered with white meats and the red for red meats. Lastly, there is a wine for desserts? Yes it is called a dessert wine and loving it!

Of all the wines I have tasted, the Port which is a dessert wine is my favorite,

I'd like to have this for the coming holidays.

Cheers to Marks & Spencer Food Fair

Chef Chie and Sam Oh after the event all smiles!

Me extremities were cringing at the beginning then tried to relax and yes it was painful at times. After the oral prophylaxis, I felt clean, now I missed my tooth decays.

My Birthday Gift | Samsung + Crumpler

2013-09-26T14:18:00.000+08:00

So as what I have mentioned in my previous blog, I have been invited by Nuffnang to grace the Food Blog Event by Marks & Spencer this coming Sunday...

And so i panicked and rushed to the mall and scouted for a camera.. at first I don't know what to buy as my friendly neighborhood friendships are busy as a bee... then I remembered that a colleague recently purchased a Samsung camera because she's attending Rihanna's concert in Manila PH! (and yes she's a very big huge fan). She brought the Samsung WB250f where the features are like that of a regular point and shoot camera, one of the the things that she liked is that the gadget is hosting a pretty good megapixel, 18x zoom and that it has a Wifi feature built in this small piece of gadget. Then I researched on the other models of Samsung's Wifi series where the WB850f and NX1000 caught my attention.

WB250f

WB850f

NX1000

After roaming the SM Annex Cyber Zone... I went home with a tummy full of the dinner we ate and without a birthday gift as the Cyber Zone don't have the gadget. The next day, I asked my cousin to accompany me at Trinoma and check what's there... After hours of circling the malls gadget stores, I've finally saw Samantha Sung aka Sam.

Now that I have Sam, need something to protect her from the harsh elements of the thing we called earth. Came across this store (still in Trinoma) Crumpler. I scrutinized all the camera bags that they have and found this small black camera bag. And the rest is history.

And then someone was calling me... BUY ME! BUY ME! This laptop bag is calling me really hard shouting on top of his lungs.. BUY ME! YOU NEED ME!

And brought the medium clutch bag for your paper bills, receipts, pen and what have yous.

And yes I spent so much for my birthday. Now that's a history. Now I have to work hard again to pay the stuff i brought.

Sizzlin Pepper Steak

2013-09-23T22:52:00.000+08:00

It's my birthday and after roaming almost the entire mall, we stumbled at Sizzlin Pepper Steak at the Annex. It was around 8:45pm. I asked the crew outside if they're still taking orders, replied with for how many? I replied and said for two. The crew replied yes sir we're open. As we were accompanied on our table, the crew gave us the menu, took us about 3 minutes to decide what to get. The crew replied, sir wait time is 10 minutes. I said ok then go back to the topic that we were talking about. After 5 minutes, the crew came back and ask us what mode of payment as they're closing. Bad bad customer service.

Should I have known, we just opted to go somewhere else where we're not rushed for our order and asking for payment were the food has not been served.

So here's my delema... I don't have a camera for the event!!! With the past events I attended, my BFF/blogger brings 2 camera (main DSLR and a backup) where I usually use the backup because it lighter though I'm more into my iPod Touch then and now my iPhone 4S simply because it more handy and light weight.

Now as my birthday fast approaching, I wanted to have a new toy...

Which is which?

Samsung WB250f

Samsung WB850f

Samsung NX1000

Now what? Buy them all? I wish!
