Its finally been announced – The Alien Quadrilogy boxset is coming to Blu Ray, but will be known as “Alien Anthology”. Whatever it’s called, it is most certainly the Blu Ray event of the year (if you exclude the frankly rather dissapointing Lord of the Rings release) and one that I am almost wetting myself in anticipation of. I only have to wait until 25th October 2010. Booooo!

Bargain Update

It’s been a bit of a poor week for bargains – it seems like the online retailers aren’t really interested in taking our money off us – however, there are a few minor bargains around. For example, The Butterfly Effect Trilogy is available at The Hut for a measly £9.95 (don’t get to excited about the 2 sequels, but the first movie is great!). Also at The Hut, The Book of Eli is just £8.85 – featuring fantastic leading performances from Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman. And the hilarious Bad Boys, starring Will Smith, now just £8.83 at Base.com.
