Baby items- to sell or to donate?

My fiancee and I are having a bit of a debate about what to do with baby paraphenalia. We have a bassinet we’ve never used, a electric (plug-in) Fisher-Price swing we rarely use, a travel bassinet and a ton of newborn baby clothes in near-mint condition- no formula stains; some of them don’t even have the tags off yet.

There’s a Once Upon A Child store in our area, and we could probably get a fairly decent amount of money for it. There’s the yard sale option as well. On the other hand, there are several women’s and homeless shelters that could put the stuff to good use.

We aren’t rich by any means, but we have what we need to get by. I feel really guilty about the idea of selling it; most of the items were gifts to begin with. My fiancee says we could put the extra money towards something the baby will really need as he gets older. I’m torn down the middle here- should I sell or donate?
Also- what constitutes the rightful owner of the gift? If it came from Dad’s mom, should Dad decide what to do with that item, or do you think it should be a joint decision?
What I mean is for example: If my fiancee’s mom gave us the swing, should my fiancee get to decide if he sells it or donates, since it came from his part of the family? Or should we both decide, since it ws a gift to us?

Universal USB travel charger for ALL devices?

I need a travel charger that will allow me to charge various devices through a 120V outlet. I typically travel with a Nikon SLR, Fuji point & shoot camera, Motorolla Krzr cell phone, Nextel cell phone, Zen Vision W, Garmin GPS, and my wife’s Blackberry. I have managed to limit my packing to 2-3 chargers, but I’m hoping there is a device for sale that can charge all these items. I’m hoping that some of these devices (e.g. blackberry, garmin, moto cell) don’t require a proprietary device. Any ideas?

Food spill accidents do happen even when careful and 60% of business comes from the drive thru yet most food too messy to eat in the car as the D-Thru was designed for convenience ie. dashboard diners. Theres nothing convenient about accidentally ruining your clothes on the way to work or meeting and the hassle to keep from it. It’s easier to just avoid the D-thru in those situations therefore you don’t enjoy a meal and the restaurant loses a sale. Maybe a specialty disposable travel bib would solve that problem?

Suppose I advertise for sale on ebay some item for 0 dollars, then when the money is in my paypal account, I close the account and keep the money. Lol what would happen. (The buyer would not have the information needed to sue me in small claims court nor would he be willing to travel several hundred miles to do so if he did.)

If I traveled 40 miles to buy/pick up something 10 or more days after the posting… is there a good or bad chance the item is still there for me? In other words did someone else buy it first, but the posting wasn’t deleted? Oh… one more thing! Do postings get deleted after the sale of items, or does it still be there?

I’m talking about bath & body works! The ”hello yellow” sale.
It says you can get 7 travel size items (mix & match) for 20 dollars.
So.. let me get this straight…
If you buy (2 travel size body lotions, 2 travel size fragrance mist, 2 travel size shower gels and 1 travel size bubble bath’s)
Would that all equal 20 dollars? Because it’s 7 items! & Their all travel size. So.. am I right?

Also, I have 29 dollars. So, can I get 4 pocket bacs hand gels too? That would equal like.. 25 dollars right? (;
Would I have some money left over?

How to price baby items for garage sales?

I am selling all my baby girl items. My husband and I are having a girl next.. so all the old baby girl stuff we are selling.. since my daughter no longer needs them.

we have the Graco Passage travel system paid 0 for it is this one http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5459216 pratically brand new, used the stroller maybe for 6 months all together.. car seat excellent condition.. we also have the graco swing again, she used this for maybe a month.. two different bouncers that sing and vibrate. huge lot of clothes, bath towels, wash clothes, tons of shoes, baby rattles.. ect…

please help!! this will be my first garage sale.. Would like to get a good return.. but I don’t want to over price and no one buys either…
also, for the clothes would you put them in outfits? or just seperates.. would you put them all in a box according to size, or pants and shirts.. or just hang everything that I can up, like maybe the better more expensive items or just the outfits..

socks and wash clothes put them in a lot, like 5 for fifty cents… or just let them pick whatever.. uhg.. i dunno.
ooppss. i mean having a BOY next.. so we need to get rid of the GIRL items

I am having a yard sale tomorrow. Mostly baby items. What r good prices for these?

Graco car seat, used for 5 months, never crashed
exercauser – euc
bouncers (one that massages, vibrates, plays music, no toys, the other vibrates no music, but super cute!!)
Graco play yard (mini travel one) that is also a bassinet
Clothes – (toddler girl summer clothes, baby clothes (outfits, onsies, sleepers, ect) toddler girl shoes..
Toys.. uhg this is my first one, unsure how to price items. Please help me.
