If you love Pets and Animals, then I suggest you get to know Deborah! She has lots of furry friends and tons of tales about them!

I just wrapped up her blog facelift and I am really pleased with it! She got the "Bling Out My Blog" package that I offer (check out my services tab!) and let's just say that her blog has been blinged!

Deborah requested a cleaner look as she found her blog was getting bogged down. I changed her layout from a 2 column to a 3 column and updated her footer to be 3 columns as well. I created a custom navigation bar so she could file away all those fun blog awards and buttons of her blogger friends in one place. I also organized her sidebar to display items in order of their purpose (social networking, shops, prayer requests, etc.) Also, she had 40 posts displayed on her front page, which slowed down her loading time, so I switched that number to 10 and her blog loads much faster now.

It's all about New Year new everything around here! I've overhauled my place over at Mad Boastings of a Cheapskate Mom! Now, check out my new digs over here! I'm enjoying the glamourish look on both of my blogs right now. I guess that's because I am surrounded by boys, I need a Chic Pad to hang in!

So what do you think? It's about time I actually changed things up around here! It's been awhile since I have had some time to get creative. I forgot how much I enjoyed it!

I was told it is bad to waste and in this case, a bad button gets another use!

I was playing around trying to make a button earlier today and somehow I ended up with a plate. It's kind of neat. You look at it and it could be a circular plate sitting flat or it could be an oval platter. Depends on your perspective.

Or maybe it doesn't look like a plate and I'm just over tired?

I may just have to stick this into photo stock and get paid...right?

Introducing...Seventeen Pillows!

I mentioned a while back that I wanted to have a place to post all my experiences and thoughts about being raised in foster care. I rounded up the help of my friend Dee from Homesick Cajun and we designed Seventeen Pillows.

I knew what I wanted as far as the colors, the pillows, etc. Dee was very patient with me as I told her exactly how I wanted it done. (When I say exactly, I mean I am super duper anal and most people would have told me to pound sand.)

Dee does blog designs and she is awesome! If you are interested in having her hook up your blog, drop on by and let her know!

Check out this header she made for Seventeen Pillows!

I told her I wanted to have the pillows placed in the header and the navigation tabs on the pillows. She came through for me like a champ! Seriously, she is da shizzle!!

I'm still making myself at home over there at my new blog. I need to put up the info for my navigation and play with the fonts a little, but all in all I am totally in love with my new blog!!

I welcome you to drop by and say hi! This blog is a stark contrast compared to Cheapskate Mom. It will go into lots of topics relating to my upbringing and my experiences, many that were quite challenging. It's really going to be on the low-low so you won't hear much about it here. I just wanted to share that it is done and that Dee rocked it out for me!!

I feel like the Blog Fairy.

I just wrapped up another blog overhaul for The Happy Homemaker.

She gave me her super secret passcode and I hopped in there this morning and changed everything up. I'm excited for her to see it!!

So this makes two blog overhauls (that aren't my own blogs) I have done! (The first was for Lose It Bitches!)

I think her blog looks cheery!

The colors make me want to find a couple of big palm trees on the beach and tie a hammock to them so I can just relax and listen to the waves crash on the shore...ahhh paradise. One can dream, right?

Speaking of warm climates...it's Summertime and my boys are busy little monsters. I also have a newfound love affair with my DSLR and I need to cut the fat a little so I can have more time to chase the kiddos and take kick ass photographs so I am closing up shop indefinately.
