This company easily has one of the best offers i’ve seen thus far, in terms of specs. I took a look at the voting results and it’s clear to me now that most of you guys do appreciate this site and what’s been put into it, and for that I appreciate you. So I decided I am going resume working on it.

But I want to take it into a new direction. Because i’m a business owner myself, and I understand that time is money I don’t want providers nor consumers to have to wait for new deals to posted because I maybe busy with other things. So in this coming week i’m no longer going to be the one posting deals. Instead i’m going to allow providers to post their own deals! But the posting outline/format is going to remain exactly the same and the duration of deals posted will be controlled to avoid too many at once. Providers will have their own admin panel with selection boxes, fill in the blanks and some other things. They won’t however be able to manually set some things like the domain age or if the billing section has a secure checkout(that’ll automatically be determined). All submissions will have to be manually approved by me for now but eventually that won’t be the case. I’ll be contacting all listed providers when the admin panel has been completed to notify them of the changes. I will manually post new deals, starting today, until these changes take effect though. Also within the next few days Feature Compare Table is getting a big update to show a lot more info, and Categories as well.

In about two weeks CVD 2.0 will be released and it’ll include
- The Visual Archive will be enabled, CVDBot will take full webpage screenshots at set periods and you’ll be able to look in the archive to see how a website may of changed over weeks/months/years.
- Not only will name servers be watched but their IP’s will be as well and a time line of changes will be indexed and you’ll be able to see that in the sites history.
- New Algs will try to determine changes to a providers website, spot new deals, spot landing pages and maintance settings, downtime of course, as well as other changes.
- The History link next to Online row will show you the online/offline history for providers site.
- There will be a new section where you can see in realtime what CVDBot maybe doing during that moment.

I’ve worked hard the last 4 months to make CheapVPSDeals the best at what it does, which is list budget VPS’s from companies while trying to get the best deal possible from them. Not only that but i’ve worked hard to add as many useful features as I could think of including feature search, comparison table, tooltips, the wealth of information in posts etc…I also wrote CVDBot from scratch and had another version in the works. I did all this for you guys, and for the providers, since i’m a fan of cheap VPS’s and wanted to do my part to contribute.

Unfortunately a great deal of users in this space have mocked me, mocked my efforts, and encouraged broken similar sites like LEB to simply copy what i’ve done instead of the users embracing it here. I’ve also gotten flack for having ads on the side and bottom as well which were there simply to help pay for the hosting…and to be perfectly honest i’m tired of it. This site is and always was just a hobby project for me, and seeing as I have a company to run and other sites I work on, I really don’t need to keep spending time on CVD when it’s not appreciated. As of right now i’ve suspended updates, but i’ll keep the site online for the years to come just so users can find older posts. For all the users and providers who have given me positive feedback I really appreciate it, I hope this site has gotten you sales and continues to and for consumers I hope you found great deals.
