What i wanted to say is that (which i have already said in twitter, and a lot of things i said there i won’t repeat here, SO FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER LA.)

Anyway, what i wanted to say was that, (which i avoided voicing out publicly for so long because i gave some serious thought about the amount of SG flags in my comments and i reckoned i was not going to offend the whole nation and get a career suicide fml)

Anyway for the third time, what i was saying was,

i dunno why but most of the time when i talk to a Singaporean, i end up feeling like shit (no la i’m not creating cross border hatred or want to create controversy and it’s not like i am being insensitive or too sensitive or trying to be injurious or defensive or patriotic or unpatriotic or proud of my country or feel sorry for my country or whatever i’m just saying how i feel)!

(On second thought i think i sort of feel sorry for my country F Malaysia’s L.)

I already realized that the first time i went to Singapore many years ago. The things they say just make you feel like shit as a Malaysian (elaborate later).

(Ok la one example. Like when they come here they go WTF CHEAP WTF CHEAP WTF CHEAP and when we go there we are all WTF SO EX WTF SO EX WTF SO EX.)

(How about when you go to Hong Kong with Singaporeans they want to buy a hot dog then they do currency conversion and go Oh, It Is Just 2 Dollars! then you do your currency conversion and you are all SHIT FML.)

Then after that i hated Singaporeans for awhile. (And also my brief dating experience with the shittest Singaporean man ever helped reinforce the idea that Singaporeans are just shit). I refused to talk to them if there was a choice. Which is ironic now considering most of my late night chats nowadays are with Singaporean girls wtf.

At first i thought most of them are being condescending and think like their country is like wtf godly awesome or whatever and like to put people down and shit. Which is what made me feel like shit and bloody inferior. But it is not. They are just saying how they feel and what they think honestly. They are just asking innocent questions. They are just stating facts.

Xiaxue came down to KL on Friday and we went shopping in my car.

After i parked my car i unhooked the British Bitch (read: GPS) off my windscreen and hid it inside the drawer.

“Wtf why do you have to hide your GPS thing!”

“Oh because if i don’t, someone will come over and smash my window and steal my British Bitch.”

Then she gave me the wtf look.

I realized i said it so naturally and nonchalantly as if i was just stating a fact that was going to happened, and i felt something wrong. Then i realize i could interpret “something wrong” as, “like shit”.

I mean, it is true. It is just a sad fact we can’t deny. It’s like if you don’t clutch your handbag tight enough in front of your chest and it will get snatched. It’s like if you walk alone at night you will get mugged. It’s like you stop on highway and help someone whose car broke down and he will rob you. It’s like if you don’t pretend to call someone in a taxi and tell them the taxi number the cabbie will drive you somewhere secluded and kill you with a spanar. Psycho Murderer Muahaha wtf.  It’s like you leave your hand phone on the table and turn to talk to a friend and the next second it is gone (or in a luckier but still rather tragic case, you get tweetjacked FYL).

You leave your British Bitch in your car, it gets stolen. These are the things we grew up with. It is only natural.

Then the next thing Xiaxue asked me was,

“Have you ever got raped?”

“What the fuck kind of question is that?”

I managed to take some pictures of the place except inside the proper hot spring pool because errr all you have is a white towel to cover yourself and you are not allowed to bring the towel into the hotspring wtf. So like you are pretending that you are not embarrassed by people pretending not to look at you and people are pretending like they are not embarrassed by you pretending not looking at them FOL.

Apart from the hotspring they also have Ganbanyoku. It is sort of like sauna but they have rooms with different temperature. From -6C to 60C wtf frozen cheese and grill cheese i shall become.

You should really check out the spa packages they have. It’s really like i have experienced before. The massages they offer are also nothing like what i experienced in China/Thailand/Bali. The first time i tried this massage called the Lymphatic Drainage Massage, which hurt quite a great deal to be honest, but the effect was sooooooooo good i kept going back.

I had 2 of that massage and one Lymphatic Drainage facial already. And going back for more. I will tell you more next time!

Lately i have been thinking a lot about living in another place. Place as in country. Maybe it is a sign of mild depression. People only think about moving when they experience grief, or hopelessness, or  are in an LDR, or want to start a new life.

I am perfectly fine with my life. It is just that i feel that i am getting too lazy in this place i called home. (But people are lazy at home, are they not?) And also things happening around me are making me faithless. It has got a lot to do with general safety in this place. Two of my friends got mugged in the middle of the night in PJ. Police stop me because they want bribe, not because they want to help me. We can’t drink from the tap because it’s dirty, etc. I get irritated by bad Malaysian attitude, bad driving skills (including my own. But if i go to another country i can just use their awesome public transport.), bad service in a restaurant, etc. No dogs allowed in most parks. Cannot find pork everywhere. Etc.  Bad food’s ratio is too high compared to good food. Etc.

Small things like that. But when you add them up together they aren’t so small anymore. These are all the problems that can be put up with. If not there wouldn’t be anyone else left in Malaysia. But isn’t it amazing? Think about it! These are the things we have been putting up with.

There was this one time, my host family Asada came to visit KL. They had an orange juice in a coffee shop, it was diluted and overly sweet. The next day they went to another coffee shop and ordered another orange juice. It was diluted and overly sweet. Then host mom asked me, how come Malaysian drink so sweet and blant? (contradicting i know, but you know what i mean.) Then i said we don’t. It is just the way they make it. Then she was appalled, and said, “Why did you all put up with it then? In Japan, if a shop sells orange juice like that, it will close down the next day because nobody will drink it.”

And it got me thinking. Why did we put up with these crap? Is it because it is a small thing that is easy to put up with? Or is it because it is easier to put up with these things than not putting up with it? (throw the orange juice back on the owner’s face, call BoycottBadRestaurantInMalaysia™ hotline, or move to another country, for example.) Or is it because we are used to putting up with crap so it’s only natural that we continue putting up with crap?

Sometimes i go to a really bad restaurant and after i had crap food and get very cross, i wonder why people are still visiting it. For sure not everyone is a first-time customer. Why did they go back if they food is so crap? Also, what the fuck was the owner thinking? “Oh i will open a crap restaurant and sell crap food so that i can make tons of money“?

If i grow up and become Prime Minister, the first thing i will do is ban all restaurants that don’t pass my YummyNom Test™.

Bad food makes me angry.

i want to go somewhere different and try living there for awhile. Not just traveling to a new country and just see the nice stuff and spent money shopping.

Sometimes i think, if i can live here in Malaysia alone, what difference does it make living somewhere else alone? It is just that i will have to find myself a new job. And that’s not going to be easy. I get too lazy here. there isn’t really much to do around here. What do you all do on weekends? Sleep until 12noon, lunch, go Pavilion shopping, dinner, then maybe buy dvds then come home and watch? Is that it?

I was just thinking, if i live in another country, i could be a more outdoorsy person. Because all i do all day nao is just sit at home (too hot to go outside) and go online (too hot to go outside too). Well i know if you are in UK or whatever it will be “to hot to go outside” and “too cold to go outside”. but at least another half of the year is pretty decent i assume. Here it is just “too hot to go outside” like, forever. If i am somewhere else with nice weather, maybe i can cycle in the park. Or like go to a lake picnic and read a book. Who the fuck picnics and reads books around the lake in Malaysia?
