Since 1991, Guelph Storm has been the best place to check out some of the greatest players before they become legends. The CHL team was founded over 30 years ago as the Toronto Marlboros before moving to Guelph and undergoing a rebrand. Since then, the team has won the J. Ross Robertsons Cup four times and the Wayne Gretzky Trophy three times.

Over the course of the years, the team has been the launching pad of modern greats such as Tyler and Todd Bertuzzi, Ryan Callahan, Jeff O’Neill, and Nick Suzuki. The team’s preseason starts in September, and their regular season goes until March. Throughout these months, head over for some family-friendly fun. Guelph Storm games tend to last about two and a half hours and provide constant entertainment throughout. The Sleeman Center is located in the Old Quebec Street Mall, where there are often events you can check out before it’s time to head into the stadium.
