Following up their first two massive tracks Death Suite and Waves, Boys Noize and Erol Alkan have once again upped the stakes with Lemonade. Why these two never got together sooner to create tracks is beyond me, but I’m sure happy they’re doing it now. I can already tell you this will be one of my top favorite tracks this year.

Heard this ace remix by Reset! yesterday and couldn’t take myself away from it. I got into Reset! when I heard their Youth Speed Trouble Cigarettes remix a while back which I still hear in sets every now and then. As for the track, I wish there was more of the vocal hook at 2:00, but it’s still crazy enjoyable.

And sooo many nights have I waited for this. I’m sure many of you remember hearing it first in DJ Mehdi’s MEHDI MIXMAS mix and saying to yourself “I must have it!”. Well Burns‘ forth EP was finally released today (official release is April 12th but it’s out on Beatport now). Although I do like the more disco vibe throw off by So Many Nights, I’m thinking I’ll actually play out Kiss ‘N’ Hold a lot more. What say you all?

If you didn’t know about Ghosts Of Venice, it’s time to get educated. Ghosts Of Venice is the name used by Leeds producer Lee Dunn. Lee does disco. Lee does disco very well. When Lee isn’t doing disco, he makes up one part of the electro duo Youth Attack!. I collected up a lot of Lee’s work during disco week and after listening to each track a few dozen times I just had to ask him to do a guest mix. What he made was this absolutely funky mix. If this doesn’t get you dancing, I’m just going to assume you don’t have legs. Show him some love and thanks on Twitter after you listen to the mix!

Boys Noize Records released a nice little compilation to gear up for WMC next week. It includes unreleased tracks galore from Shadow Dancer, Les Petits Pilous, and D.I.M. to name a few. I was actually was most excited about the D.I.M. track, that is, until I heard it. I do like the track, but it doesn’t bring the same heat as Lyposuct did. Anyway, enjoy this Boris Dlugosch remix that everyone seems to be posting over the others for no real reason at all.

Now, I’d be a good moral and ethical blogger if I told you to go and buy the compilation on Beatport (which you can do here). But I also have a seriously hard time justifying the insane price of $20 for only 8 tracks. My advice? Save your dough for Avalanche/Lemonade.

The wait for Bangduck is now over. I’ve been listening to set rips and watching this track being talked about for a few months now and it’s garnered almost as much hype as when Blau!was still unreleased. By far the best part of the track is the drop at 1:44. Prepare yourselves, Bangduck is here.

Dada Life have released their Benny Benassi edit. Originally it was set to be a Guerilla Fart, but somewhere along the way they decided to release it as an original. There’s also a bit of a feud going on between them and Tiesto. He apparently stole the track from Dada Life in their dressing room and to get back at him, they played the track right before he went on in Liverpool recently (as seen in the video above). Massive FU.

Thought I’d share this Barletta live set that I’ve been listening to on this lazy Sunday afternoon. It’s actually the first time I’ve ever heard a live set of his (there is a 2008 set out, but I haven’t grabbed it yet). The good news is that its everything you’d expect from a live set and more. The bad news is you won’t wanna stop listening to it, or is that also good news? Definitely brace yourself while listening. Just wanted to let everyone know I’ll be ordering stickers tomorrow and they’ll be ready in about a month. I’m doing the stickers first mainly because I don’t have the money to buy and print the t-shirts quite yet.
