What's your dreams?

I love to know what's other people's dreams and ambitions!

It allows me to understanf his/her aspirations and really motivates me to pursue what I dream of too!

Seldom people would ask about my dreams and although I'm always eager to share, I won't take the initiative to. So here I am again, saying my dreams loud!

I read Chris's FB post that day, “被人取笑的梦想越有实现它的价值！” I feel so motivated!

I am not suitable to be any ordinary office lady, doing office job, earning office pay, being an ordinary person for life. At least that what I wish for now. During lunch on Friday, Yida came over and throughout the boring conversations, he finally said something inspiring.

He analysed my birthday and told me my character. He said that I like to be in control of things and like things my way. I am not suitable to work under someone cos I couldn't just survive with instructions and scoldings from others.

True or not, at least I got motivated. Only that morning when I was getting my print-out from the printer, I thought to myself " I want someone to do this for me! I no longer want to collect my print-out myself! I want to hire someone to do this administrative job for me!".

I love the feeling of motivation, it empowers me to look forward to a greater day. At times, I really feel empty and alone. Like there's no one else sharing the same dreams as me, sharing my burden or making important decisions with me. But I know that this is my life and I am the captain of it. My decision will make or break my first step to me dreams.

I do rmb someone ever said the following.

"When you are dreaming about owning a car, don't just thought about what car make, what colours and what rims you want. When you dream about it, dream about having your hands on the steering wheels, already owning it. Only that, you will realise how good it is to realise your dreams."

Alot of times, people lose motivation after owning what you have dreamt of. I used to dream about having my LV bag. After I got my Prada, I got no more motivation to work towards owing a branded bag. I got my Mont Blanc, I got my bag, now what do I need? I need my own career that I craved out myself! I know I would never get tired of that feeling! When I get my car, I will wash it regularly and I will take good care of it. Having a VW Beetle is impractical, but it's still good to know one day that I can afford it, just that I didn't want to splurge on it!

I am emo and bored at times, but I should know that every minutes of my life is precious and I should be happy. I just hope to have someone close to me, sharing the same aspirations and overcome all obstacles together.

Reflection

I picked up my IHT notebook today and saw the 1st lesson taught about HIS.
Honesty, Integrity and Sincerity. I felt ashamed when I didn't realise what was it about when this 3 words appear in Chris's namecard.

I flipped through my notebook and realised that I have lost my motivation and sincerity over the years. Sincerity to making myself a better person over the years. I grew fatter, my temper got worst, and my motivation to succeed diminished when I was caught up with this feeling call LOVE. All these have to be things of the past, I can't afford my time to have a relationship now. I got to start up my business, I got to start school soon and I got an award ceremony and conference to work on. I have more capability than wasting my time away. I told myself that I wanna be different. I am no ordinary office lady. I am wasting my life and talent away if I stick on to my low paying job. Others can be entrepreneur and a successful one. Why can't I?

It's okay that I am doing these alone, making decisions alone, I believed these challenges will make me grow. I am blogging today because I wanna spell it out to let myself know that I start to realise my potential again, the things I CAN and I MUST achieve in my lifetime. I am going to start a timeline and make myself happy that I made things happen in my younger days. YS can start a company at 23, Chris can start his partnership in pub at 22 and his own company at 25. Yes, I can take my first courageous step at 23. I missed my chance at 21 cos I was afraid, I was lazy, and I got no resources. I am a Lady but I can do what a Man can do!

I will not immerse myself with self-pity or feel and regrets or guilt anymore. If I happen to, I will let it go in 2 hours. If I am caught up with guys, I must know that I can't commit to a relationship. Youth is too short to waste my precious time with unworthy people. I only accept people who are capable enough to be in my future blueprint. MY OWN BLUEPRINT that's drafted by yours truly. I am happy that I have the courage to make myself a vow that I will persevere UNTIL I deem myself as being successful and my benchmark is high. It's okay that nobody is interested in what I am doing. I can live it alone. Cos I am my target to succeed.

I wrote myself a note in the notebook and closed it with determination and POWER to fight challenges.

New Phase of Life!

Hello! I've been missing for so long! After starting a desk bound job, I started to neglect my computer at hm and really start replacing my blog with Facebook. But since FB does not have an achive yet, blog is still a better choice to keep myself updated in case 5 years down the road I want to know what Cherie is doing in 2011..

I went to SIM workshop today and collected my 10kg course materials. Waited for a year before it's finally starting! 24th Jan is the official date of student life and I can start having student discounts with my student card!! Anyway, I'm having part time classes and 7 modules is going to kill me this sem. (too kiasu)!

I wish that I will be a disciplined student, worker and dieter!!

LIfe as it is..

Reflection Time..

After quitting my 2 yrs job, I was jobless for 3 mths.
In this 3 months, I wasn't a very good girl.

Instead of looking for job and exercising towards my slimming effort, all I do everyday is complain about being boring and get out of house every chance I had.

Fortunately, I finally passed my FTT in Oct and started my driving lesson on 4th Oct. Everyday I focused on my driving lesson and thought that my life is as meaningless as I'm doing something useful now.

As I continued to look for jobs online and through emails, I finally got myself an interview and got the job right on the second interview. The pay was way lower than the previous one but I thought that it's the only way to picked myself up and also learn from scratch another type of job, a stable (boring) job.

I was as an events executive in a training & consultancy company, a job that I thought would suit me and make me go a long way in this line. But 9 days into the job, all I do in "trying" to revamp the corporate brochure where my effort is not appreciated because my sup did not feedback anything on it and I think she's redoing it. The rest of the time I have to find thing to research on that's related to the business. Cos sup is sitting behind me that's why I couldn't surf any site that I want.

My contract is 6mths and I'm wondering whether I will continue to be in this job. I want a job that can do something big and great although it contradict to my lazy personality. My current job is stable for my uni life of 3 years but I don't think I can get far unless I'm contented to get married and work 5 days a week, 9 to 6 everyday and do monotonous stuff.

I have spent all my savings and lost money in stocks recently and it taught me a good lesson to not overestimate my monetary ability.

I have also start to break ties with bastards who only find girls for a motive and I will not contact them anymore and start to be rational in relationship. I still love to be loved and taken care of. But the effort and energy to put in thinking and worrying whether the guy is really true to you whether he will cheat around is too much for my to handle. I can't trust someone 100% now. Love & Happiness can wait. Focus on making myself happy is more important.

I have a lot and seriously a lot of comment on me putting on weight for the past years and a lot are shocked that I have let this happened to me. Even there are people to sort of start to "despise" me, cos as a girl I did not put in enough effort to make myself look good. WTF. Seriously none of your business. There are tons of girls fucking fatter than I am who did not get those criticism but girl who got fat gradually got fucked at. Anyway I will put in effort to slim down for myself and not for those fucking shallow guys.

Other than driving, I have picked up swimming and cycling and today I even tried freestyle by a friend who I wished will always be a good friend and not let other things affect this friendship.

Thank you girls who have always been there for me despite my selfish personality as I really do not know how to be caring and do not know how to maintain the friendship. I tried to meet up as frequent as possible in order to not let any gaps to form between. I'm glad that despite having failed relationships, I have these angels with me. I promised to be happier. It's Saturday and I'm home! I won't disappoint with girls with my undisciplined actions again. We always alwats stay together.

It feel so good to let things out. Sometimes I get hurt and emo easily because I'm easily affected by peoples' comments and actions and get too sensitive. So I hope if those bastards happened to read my blog, I got to tell you, IT'S NONE OF YOUR FUKING BUSINESS WHETHER I AM FAT ANOT! I will slim down for the sake of myself and not to get a bf! Get the fact right!!!

I will not get a boyfriend just because he is rich or got a car..
I will get a bf that I can marry in the end..

Birthday By The Barrage

I'm 22 years and 19 days old today!!

Well, on 10th Sep which is also (coincidentally) my lunar birthday, my sweet darlings celebrated my birthday for me on a kite and Picnic trip at the Marina Barrage!!

I brought my kite and sandwiches to Tampines so that YW can send Bei and I to Barrage to meet Simin there.. But I forgotten to bring out the thread with the kite so have to buy one extra one =(

On the way still lost our way at Marina and drove to Vivo.. =p So guilty I nv tell YW where to pick Darling properly. Sorry dear..

Sorry for the delay..

To busy with new photolog, (Yet to be done nicely) and chilling out with people and being bored but just no heart to blog..

The long awaited breakfast!!

On the way there pretty PQ took the pretty pool..

We concluded that I might be the one causing it considering I hit her when we fell off the Banana Boat. Hehez.

We went off to walk around and swim after which cos PQ decided to give up on Parasailing..

Xiao Yun and boy arrived around 12+pm which ends our swimming session (which we have Cornetto Ice Cream in the pool, shiok experience)and went back room to swim while the couple waited for us in the restaurant because their room wasn't ready as well..

Along the way we saw pushcarts selling fireworks, didn't thought of buying at first but when we went back again at night, we couldn't find them anymore!!!!!!

Massage Time!!!

Reached the place around 5.40pm, late for our appointment.. Bei, PQ & I went to massage while the couple go walk walk..

Excited about the session cos it's our first time!!

Bei & I got in the double room while PQ went to the single room..

1. We stripped

We were very shy to exposed everything but the lights was off so still quite okay.

2. Massage

Even the boobs, PQ was given a choice so she didn't get it. Maybe the massage therapist don't wanna touch her boobs.. Hahaz.. Bei got the face massage but I didn't.. =(

3. Sauna

I though I heard the therapist (dunno hw to spell the short version -.-") saying, "If too hot, add water." So Bei & I went in naked with a hot towel and she warned me not to peel =p

She asked if it was too hot so she added water and it became hotter!! Sweat literally streamed down my body.. Well, sorry first timer ma..

4. Scrub

Everywhere! Even boobs and armpit.. But Bei very sad that she didn't get the armpit scrub.. So inconsistent!!

5. Bubble bath!!!

Went in naked went Bei, lucky the bubbles are thick enough.. Hehe.. We scrubed each other's back, chit chat, talk cock..

Lucky YW never come, if not PQ bath with Bei and WHAT CAN I CHAT WITH YW?!

Wahaha.. =p

6. Moisturize

We wore a Batik rode and sat on a "holed" stool.. (Tried drawing in paint, but I wasn't never good in art so forget about it!)

Below our "XXXXX" part, a joss stick thingy burns below us and it was quite scary.. Hahaz..

8. Cam whoring!!

The therapists gave us ginger tea (yucks) and a slimming pill to consume and waited for us outside while we changed. So it's time for shoots since we didn't before the session!!!

S$94++ for 1.5hrs for 3 ppl!! That's like S$30+ per person and in S'pore, you can't even get this good deal for a foot massage or pedicure.. Hahaz..

We hired a cab to find the couple and hired another cab to search for our Zhi Char dinner place!!! Search for at least 15mins or more round and round the place..

The driver wanted our business so he said he would come back for us 1.5 hour later.. And the way he used to make us rmb him? His long pinky naill.. About the length of your middle finger!!

When we are done, it's almost 12.30pm so the auntie (other tourist, mother of the boy who stepped on my bag!) came to asked the tour guide/hint us that it was wayyyyyyyy past 12pm cos they are taking the 2pm ferry..

In the minibus, the guide told us that we were be arriving the ferry terminal in 40mins.. The aunite's 2nd son (about Grade 3-4)mentioned, "We would have reached there by now if not for...." he was stopped somehow..

Actually I don't give a damn.. So I continue shooting..

I didn't realise our timing was printed wrongly for the 3 of us.. 04.10pm became 10.40am.. Wahaha..

I even got stared by her youngest daughter (about Grade 1 I guess) when I alighted at the terminal! >=(

At the place, we were calculating how much we owe each other.. I started with $150 in my wallet and after calculating for meals, cabs, massage and whats not, exchanging coins and notes here and there.. I ENDED UP WITH $150 AGAIN!! CREEPY!!

So now you don't have to enqiure me again =)

Yawn... So long winded..

Haven even pack for Vietnam, I have never travel for more than 4 days before so I dunno what to bring for a 5D4N trip and I dunno got luggage anot.. Hahaz..

Met Beibei and Pei Qin up at Harbourfront at 9.15am (1st day only 3 of us! Can you imagine without me they are going alone? Dangerous!), and we were both late.

We went to eat the bee hoon (rushing) PQ tabao for us at the "cafe" below the check in point.

We discussed for about 10mins before deciding on what to try!

First up! 15mins of Banana boating!! We thought of having 30mins ride but 15mins seems like forever!!!

We were sooooo confident that we wouldn't drop!! But we did after the huge sharp turn near the shore..

When I was the first in the row, I got thrown off the boat in the middle of the sea! Damn scary!! But relax and I got to float.. Hehe..

Next up! Jet Scooter which I didn't got a chance to ride on my own! I don't dare actually!

PQ and Batam bf!! Hahaz..

We hugged each other tight like mad during the ride and PQ got dumped cos she sat in the last seat and her hero drove a scooter (For free! Supposed to charge us by no. of scooter)to fetch her and she hugged him damnnnnn TIGHT!! During the ride she still got time to say my hair smell nice.. =p

Exhausted after the rides so we went on to swim in the 1.2m pool without goggles and it suck! Hahaz..

We went to bath abt 6 I guess and got ready for dinner!!

On 25th July 2010, 2 days after USS Trip/YW's birthday, 304 went overseas!! To Johor Bahru!!

Do not depise this trip alright? This is Bei and Sarah's first trip to JB! Amazing right? Air stewardess went all the places around the world but did not touch down JB before! (and Genting too btw)

YW & Sarah as usual, were late and Bei and I got Pissed again. After they reached, Sarah went to grab a drink and we missed the bus to Woodlands as a result. So the best solution is to cab to Woodlands custom!!!

On the cab! Sarah sat at the front passenger so we didn't take with her.. =p

After we reached the custom, we took the bus in to Malaysia but there was a small jam so I guessed we were stucked for about 40mins! =(

We were all famished and thinking of what to eat, but to our surprisem we saw Nandos there! So gave up the idea of eating Kim Gary!

Hello! In order to continue to let my friends be happy, I'm blogging again!

Went out with Anna Dearie on Monday after my interview. I finished at 12.40pm but have to wait for her till 2pm then she reach!

Went to search for my Portable Charger to be my saviour as nowadays Whatsapp and MSN killing my batt in half a day!

Saw the cover that had caught my eye since god knows when and I happily bought it!!

Shopped in the shop for about half an hour, so cute!

Anyway, after accompanying me for lunch, we found out that PS doesn't have to movies and timings suitable for us. So we walked! (in my damn painful heels and heavy bag!!!) to Cineleisure for this!!

I love the show so much! Nice!! Dearie was very reluctant to watch it at first but I guess she's not that disappointed after all!

Wanted to go TCC for the 1 for 2 promotions but guessed it's over so we went to Paragon for Akashi!! Partly cos I dun wanna walk any longer! Hahaz.. Cos she's only interested in TCC at Thai Embassy! Arghhh....

They ran out of salad and gave us a "plate of soup". (Which I think was diluted Pasta Tomato Sauce!!!!)

On 23rd June (Ya, more than a mth ago), Bei, YW, Sarah, Ayuni & I went to Holland V (YW fetch Ayu, Bei & I from Bedok) for Dinner!

Last Sunday was 304 outing again!! With different combi of members this time! =P

So before going out, testing my camera make sure it's charged and working! Although still do not know how to operate it properly yet. =)

Although we agreed to meet at 10am at RedStar and I woke up 8+am but I still sway here and there and took cab at 9.50am. Wasted $18.90. Haha..

Finally gotta a day off to accompany my Darling and 305..

Met up with Simin at 313 for some shopping and while we shop we don't usually bring out my Dua Leng Kong camera to shoot and only these to prove the alibis..

Both of us cried hunger so off we went to basement for some snacks (So hungry now actually =P)

Ended the trip with one blue dress and her empty handed and off we go to Timbre and school respectively..

Lost my way n cos I took bus stubbornly and alighted at the wrong stop when I could have gotta on the same bus and alight at the same stop with her.. Dumbest mistake!!

Finally see them at 7+ and waited for Sarah to arrive from Sentosa till 8.40pm!!!

Note that nothing is ever certain, just like weather forecast is never 100% accurate, promises can always be broken and rules can always change, whether you like it anot.

Human is the scariest living things on earth and I think you understand it better than me. I believe you will take it well and all the best in your career and hunt for Miss Right =)

In a Dilemma

I feel so confused and totally in a dilemma.

I do have a solution to run away from hell but not the courage to do so, do not have a back up plan, and do not have to heart to leave my boss.

I love the organization, I love some of my colleagues, I love the environment, I love the remunerations, I love the benefits, I just don't fancy my role.

2 years ago, I came in with excitement, with drive, passion and an open heart and mind to learn all I can and look forward to my current role that will be given to me 1.5years later. I'm happy with my salary, with my branch (walking distance to my house), my lovely colleagues and my service role.

Nightmares begin when I was allocated to a different branch.
As I always tell others and myself, I am a very adaptive person, I can survive anywhere anyhow.

The distance became further (half an hour to work), the working hours extended, the colleagues there work very differently in terms of attitude, a lot of unfortunate incidents happened, service turned into semi-sales role, and pressure started to pile up when its nearer to my training dates for my new sales role.

Within the 5 mths in the new branch, many at times I ponder whether to leave and give up everything I have dreamt of. I have fall into dilemma before and I picked myself up when I say "Loser quit and leave, Winner stay on and fight!" So I printed that sentence and put it in my daily use file to remind myself. I do not want to leave the organization without any achievement and having a resume details to prove that I had given up halfway having written "Service Executive" for 1 year of working experience.

3 mths of trainings was a mixture of fun with colleagues and stress of daily test.
Everyone was bonded, 20 of us were having mixture feelings for the role and I can only comment that turnover rate is high. Having seen so many of our fighters leave their positions, I am a bit shaken to make a decision NOW.

Being in this role for about 4 mths now and I believe this is not what I want, I can't stay on for the salary anymore, I know I'm fortunate to be able to get a job that pays well in terms of monetary. But I'm still young, I have a choice to choose "Satisfactions Salary" as well. What I need is simply sense of achievements, job satisfactions and satisfactory salary. I am willing to climb, willing to burnt my weekends and holidays for a better returns fulfillment. Here I am, working additional hours, additional weekends, going to additional meetings and trainings and -100% satisfactions and 0% confidence in my progression here.

Even the new cleaner at my branch can be so passionate and committed to his job, now what qualities am I lacking? I should be happy that everyone "envies" my job, my salary and even my environment and how well it might make my resume be. But grass is always greener on the other side. I want to get out as soon as possible, I'm guilty for taking the salary with no result given as well.

Next step is interview, Interview, INTERVIEW!!!
Once I secured Plan B, I will let go my Plan A.

Thank You Boss for your guidance, I'm sure you will understand the reasons behind my resignation.

Penny for Thought

This thought occurs to me while I was playing a stupid Golf Game on a stupid mobile phone (Nokia 6288).

For some people (most I assumed), would not know how the game works, so here it goes.

There are 18 holes which mean 18 goals. Player are given a maximum tries (about 8 strokes) to hit the golf ball into the hole. Players are free to choose the strength exerted and club to use.

Many a time my golf ball is only a few feets away from the hole but just when I was about to try another time, the sentence “Stroke Exceeded” popped up and I have to continue the game at the next hole.

My Learning from the Game

Life is just like a game of Golf. (No wonder entrepreneurs like Golf so much.)

There is a different goal to achieve at each stage and you are free to choose the methods and attitude to achieve it. But most of the time, the opportunities came but you missed to seize it. What left behind will be a trail of regrets.

The goal might seems very near and almost achievable, but because you lost the opportunities that kept flashing across your eyes, you lost the chance to achieve the goal and have to proceed to the next stop to achieve another goal.

1. You can choose your attitude and the methods to reach your goals.
2. When you failed that goal and there is no way to retrieve back the opportunity, move on.
3. Change your methods to reach your goal when another opportunity arises and there might be chance for you to achieve the next goal.
4. When you fail, move on but never give up.
5. Believe in Faith

I tried playing the game over and over again even though that phone kept shutting down due to the blotted battery at the back of the phone. It became a goal for me to achieve getting the golf ball in the hole.

Till date, I still don’t know how the scoring works, but I can still feel the excitement when I achieve my goal!

On Saturday, my new BABY arrived!!!

NIKON D60!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I bought a 2nd hand one from an online seller and I think that guy must be a damn rich guy!

Because, for $600, I got all these!!!

D60 body with 18-55mm kit lens (not gd enough but all kit lens are like this!

2 filter, 1 normal, 1 UV.

Comes with receipt with only 2-3months warranty left and a Nikon tripod with a LEVIS's carrier.

Been so long since I blogged something decent!

Was on off last Thursday but something cocked up and have to went back to work half day and then meet Colin and then go to training from 6-7pm at town! -.-"

Anyway, so after work at about 2pm, we took a bus from Bedok all the way to town..

Bored so tried out the camera that's going to die of batT!

Town is really boring especially in the afternoon! Forgotton what are we supposed to shop but I think it was shoes! So we walked around and went to the mall I hated most which is Heeren cos they have practically nothing interesting there now.. Except this same old trick mirror..

Not as interesting as those in Science Centre some more!

After my training at Shenton, we "proceed" to Raffles thinking of going Timbre Arthouse.

But I think we quarrel or dunno what so we stood here.
