Well it seems like I have been missing for a long time. I haven't been doing much with jewelry these days as my time seems to be taken up with my Decorative Sewing Pins and More shop on Etsy.

I've been hunting down Vintage Mary Engelbreit pincushions to add my decorative sewing pins to and placing them in my shop for sale as a set.

Here's one of the new Fried Egg Flower fabric chair pincushions that I have available in the shop. It will come with a set of cute floral sewing pins as pictured.

I have some cute scissor fobs and needle minders that coordinate well with the pincushion, too.

Quilt Retreat Gifts

I've just added a new Collection of products to the shop with an eye towards Quilt Retreats and Quilt Gatherings. Fortunately for me, a number of customers have been looking for a nice "gift idea" to exchange with the other woman at these events.

Quilt Planner/Journal clips and needle minders are a nice idea and under the $5 price point.

The journal clips are sold in an assortment of three in a gingham or polka dot pattern.

I've, also, designed some extra cute badge holder/retractable reel id holders to wear to your next Quilt conference. You could wear them to the office, too.

Some with a gingham pattern and some with polka dots.

To match up with everything...I've even added those cute little sewing machines to some tape measures in cases. Again, a nice price for giving as a gift at your next Quilters Guild event.

Decorated Tape Measure Case

Something new that I have been working on....decorated cases with sewing tape measures.

They're little plastic cases that I have decorated with assorted flowers beads and glass leaf beads. Some have butterfly beads and some have glass ladybug beads.

There are six choices of colors for the actual tape measure inside each case.

Quilting & Sewing Necklaces

Need A Needle Minder?

Something new in my Decorative Sewing Pins & More shop on Etsy. Needle minders are great for all your stitching projects whether it be cross stitch, embroidery, or hand quilting. There is a very strong lightweight Rare Earth magnet attached to the decorative minder, which you put on the front of your fabric. A second external magnet is placed behind your fabric to hold the minder in place.

Using my stash of vintage Mary Engelbreit fabric, I have created a pair of Floral magnetic needle minders. My needle minders are each individually handmade, therefore each one will be slightly different from photos shown here.

These needle minders provide a place for you to store your needle when it is not in use. No more wondering where that needle went to until your foot finds it in the carpet. Not too big and not too small, this 3/4 inch needle minder is perfect for large and small projects, or get one for each of your projects.

Do you "run with scissors"? Maybe you need a gift idea for your friend who is a quilter or enjoys sewing.

I've recently designed a collection of scissor fobs that are now available in my Etsy Shop here.

Some with Cherries, some with Cottage Roses, and some with Fried Egg Poppy flowers.

Some that are Heart shaped with extra fancy Heart closures.

If you have no scissors to adorn with a fob you could attach it to a handbag as a purse charm.

Another idea would be to add them as a zipper pull to your favorite hoodie jacket or your Yoga bag.

Each one hand beaded with Artisan crafted lampwork glass focal beads and assorted glass accent beads.

I'm sure there are are uses for these little cuties that I haven't even thought of. If you think of one leave me a comment to share your idea.

New Seed Bead Hoop Earrings

I've recently added a few new designs of seed beaded hoop earrings to my shops. This first pair has a somewhat "Tribal" look to them. I love just being able to pick up a random bead and not having to really follow a pattern...just a selection of colors. This pair can be found on my website here for $32. Feel free to click the photo to get that "OMG! that's huge view".

This pair has a Southwest feel to them. I've hand beaded these hoop earrings with various sizes of glass seed beads in Silver and Turquoise Blue. They're an attention getting pair created with 100's of glass seed beads. You'll find them in my Etsy.com shop here for $34.

Finally, this last pair, while similar to the first design, have a more pronounced checkerboard look and make me think of them as being more of a Bohemian design. All of these earrings are lightweight and one of a kind designs. This pair can, also, be found in my Etsy.com shop here for $36.

Halloween Seed Beaded Hoop Earrings

Pumpkin Spice everything is out now so that means it's time to think about Autumn earrings...right? I've just added a couple of hand stitched beaded Fall earrings to my Etsy shop for a "treat". This first pair has been created using a brick stitch to make the cute little Candy Corn designs in yellow, orange, and white on a black background.

With this second pair I've used Fall colors to create another unique pair of seed beaded hoop earrings that can be worn all throughout the Autumn season. Both pairs are available in my Etsy.com shop.

New larger pincushions with decorative pins

I've recently created a few new pincushion designs that are a little larger than my original collection using my Mary Engelbreit fabric stash.

The new designs measure 4.25 inches wide by 3 inches high (not including the pins in the height). Each one comes with 6 of my decorative flower pins.
