Change is good. I have embraced a newly formatted blog and will no longer be posting here. Although I will keep this up in case you have landed here and want to browse any of my old posts.

Meanwhile, I have gone back to the roots and original intent of my blog, random wedding photos. From here on out, that is exactly what you will see, one arbitrary wedding photo a few times a week.

What can I say, I loved photographing this wedding, everything from the couple, to the families, to the location and everything in between. Thank you Tracy and Kevin for allowing us to be part of your special weekend.

I had an incredible time last weekend with Tracy + Kevin and their close friends and family. It's gonna take a few more days to sort through all of the images, but this one caught my eye. It's so beautiful.

The wedding was at the Zapata Ranch near the sand dunes in southern Colorado. The Zapata Ranch is a magical place owned by the Nature Conservancy. I would highly recommend a visit there.

In the near future I will be posting many more images from Tracy + Kevin's wedding. Stay tuned...

The Wedding Pink Engagement Photos - Melissa + Jeff

For those of you who do not know, I have founded and organized The Wedding Pink, an annual heartfelt wedding giveaway presented to a couple whose lives have been recently touched by breast cancer. Melissa and Jeff are the recipients of this year's wedding which will take place April 17 at Mile High Station in Denver, Colorado.

Melissa and Jeff are a lovely couple and I am thrilled to have awarded them this wedding. Of course this is made possible by the generosity of all of the vendors who are donating their products and services.

Winter Wedding in Crested Butte, Colorado - Part I

This year has started out with a bang, it has been non-stop ever since the first of the year. I spent New Year's weekend with Meredith + Dean, family and friends, in Crested Butte, Colorado. Their wedding was a true winter wedding with "feet" of snow on the ground as well as below zero temps most of the time. Despite the freezing cold it was a joyous occasion for all.

After a couple months of scheduling conflicts and crazy travel schedules I finally had a chance to catch up with Christina and Brent right before Thanksgiving. Visual Diary - Italy + Croatia

This is a little off the beaten path as far as wedding photography goes, but I can't help myself from posting some of my recent travel photos. Some tell me that my images are not your typical vacation pictures. I like to consider them as art and more importantly my visual diary from my travels.

Wedding Photography in Beaver Creek, Colorado -- Anderson's Cabin at the Ritz-Carlton

I had an amazing time with Susan and Mark at their intimate wedding of just 7 people. The wedding took place at Anderson's Cabin which is part of the Ritz-Carlton in Bachelor Gulch (Beaver Creek, Colorado). They said their "I do's" and then all huddled around the fire pit for toasts, cake cutting and s'mores. Since Susan is originally from London, this was her first experience with making s'mores!

Sneak Peek - A Fabulous Wedding & European Vacation Photographs

It has been a while since I have had a chance to post anything and for good reason. I was fortunate enough to take two weeks off and travel through Italy and Croatia, of course my camera was around my neck just about the entire trip. I am sorting through all of my images and hope to have a gallery of photographs on my website in the next couple weeks. Meanwhile, here is a preview of one of the images from Sorrento, Italy.

Then just 2 days after I returned I had an opportunity to photograph this fabulous small wedding for Sue and Mark in Beaver Creek. I can't wait to finish editing their wedding and post some images on my website and blog. Here is a sneak peek from this amazing, intimate wedding.

A few of my favorite images from Sara and Joseph's wedding last Sunday. The wedding and reception was held at The Westin Riverfront in Avon, Colorado which is near Beaver Creek. I had a wonderful time with Sara, Joseph and their friends and families. If you didn't notice the first image, the wedding took place on the coveted date of 10-10-10!

Now that we have officially finished the main wedding season of the year, we have been working around the clock to finish orders for all of the great couples that I worked with this year.

I had a fabulous time last weekend with Ashley and Jerome. They had an intimate wedding ceremony at Allie's Cabin in Beaver Creek, Colorado. The aspen trees were at their peak golden color and the weather could not have been more glorious. Thanks for a great weekend Ashley and Jerome, you two are the best!

I spent a wonderful Saturday with Julie and Charlie, what a delightful couple! They exchanged wedding vows at the Vail Chapel in the heart of the Vail Village with the reception later in the day at the Donovan Pavilion.

Julie's dress is from Anna Be Bridal Boutique. Wedding planning by TC Decker of Muse Events.

Wow, is all I can say after looking at the images (all 2000+) from last Saturday's wedding at Devil's Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, Colorado. I had so much fun with Katie and Ryan, wish I could hang out with them more often!

I had an opportunity to hang out with Rinat and Taylor the other morning. We found this fun little trail outside of Golden, Colorado which turned out to be the perfect location for their engagement photographs. I had so much fun, thanks you two!

Crested Butte Wedding Photography

Despite the weather last weekend in Crested Butte, Colorado, Baylee and Bryan had a beautiful church wedding. Had the weather held they would have been married in a wonderful outdoor garden, but Baylee summed it up best, "Bryan always wanted a church wedding". The weather finally broke as the couple exited the reception in a sea of sparklers.

I wish Baylee and Bryan the best. Bryan is a West Point grad and has served time in Iraq. His story is quite incredible. It was a pleasure working with both of these great families.
