CHEV Radio's live stream will be returning on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 12pm. Listeners can tune in by going to www.chevradioam.com and clicking on the "Listen Live" link.

CHEV has hooked up with Awcast.com to bring you great community, sports, and entertainment programming.As of right now,

CHEV will not be streaming 24/7. However, the staff plan to reach that goal in the next little while.

We've unoffically launched our brand new website.

By unoffically, we mean this: Our new website is like a brand-new house that we just moved into. Right now, it's empty and everything is a little clutured, but over the next week, we'll be 'painting' and moving things into place. Once everything is set, we'll offically launch it. Station Update

Well, the renovations are taking place. Unfortunately, they are moving at a very slow pace. There's been a couple of roadblocks, changes in the equipment and new decisions that had to be made.

The staff have given this a lot of thought and have decided that until everything in the studio has been sorted out, we will remain off the air. Therefore, our stream will remain suspended until Monday, December 10. When Dec. 10 nears, we will re-evaluate our situation and go from there.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. We know this has been very frustrating. We know this is hurting CHEV's reputation. But one day, we will all rise from the ashes.

A Rainy Monday Morning

Well, I'm just sitting here in the "currently being renovated" CHEV studios. There's no update for you. Engineers have been in to look and fix certain things. Unfortunatley, it has been a long and drawn out process. Meanwhile, a light bulb has turned on over me head. I HAVE AN IDEA! It combines podcasting and you getting stuff off your chest.

CHEV Radio Station Update

The engineers were in on the weekend. They evaluated the equipment, installed some new wiring, took stuff out of the transmitter, and cleaned up after themselves. Bottom line: it looks like our equipment needs more extensive work then we thought.

Therefore, all shows and our live stream will be suspended until Nov. 15. We won't go back on-air (internet and hopefully radio) until every single equipment issue is taken care of. For the record, Nov. 15 is not set in stone. We might be ready before that time and we might be ready after that time.

There will be a major studio and website renovation over the next few days. Engineers will be coming in to ensure that our equipment is in top working condition. We are also preparing a new website that will be launched very shortly.

Hello,

CHEV Radio is proud to announce the premiere of "The Yoko Sanchez Radio Show" coming this Sunday at 6PM. Yoko will be moving her time slot to Saturday from 6-8PM in her third episode but on October 14th and 21st she will be on www.chevradioam.com live at 6PM.

Also, "BTN" has been on hiatus for a couple weeks but will be back live at 9AM on October 16th. Lots of things to talk about including the 2007-08 NHL season and the 2007 Baseball Playoffs. Not to mention some CFL and NFL as well as pre-season NBA predictions coming very soon.

Dylan Fuhr will be starting his show, "Epic Radio" the same night Yoko Sanchez begins broadcasting every Saturday. The two will broadcast back-to-back, but the time of his show will be announced shortly. He'll be bringing you some of the best Indie and Retro music around.

But don't forget to check out tonight's live show, "My Living Room" with Cheryl Hoar. That begins at 7PM. And tomorrow, "The Gonzo Report" will be back on a 12 noon followed by "The Complainers" at 1PM. Then "Suburban Bass" will tear up the turntables from 9-11PM.

Not good to be John Tory right now. Thought we'd mention that.
