Sooo,.....

I finally got a Mac! that was my super awesome Mother's Day gift (though I've had it for a little over a week). I love it. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. it. Like seriously? Why didn't I go Mac before? Long before. You know what they say right, "Once you go Mac, you never go back."

But I am still learning the intricacies of my new and precious ~~family member~~ little toy. For example, forward delete, where are you my friend? I miss you oh so very much. I need to find a shortcut to you.

Also, there is a Caps Lock delay on my Mac. sO SOMETIMES MY SENTENCES ENDED UP LOOKING LIKE THIS because it takes the key a while to respond to the command. So I decided to Google what was up with that. And a few Apple geeks were all like:

"Why in the world would you ever want the Caps key when you could just use shift?"

and

"the caps lock key is useless"

And I was all like, "that's freakin' brilliant!" Seriously. Never thought to use Shift to capitalize things. I use it for everything else. It should just come naturally. It would remove one step from the capitalizing of stuff. So then I wondered if I was among the majority or the minority. How many of you use the caps lock and how many of you use the shift to capitalize words?

Ok, so maybe here in South Texas, it doesn't feel so muck like Fall but it's here...in many other parts of the country. And to celebrate I came up with a Fall themed greeting card.

Seriously, imagine being pregnant and looking like this (at 34 weeks!!!!):Does this not look like the work of the photographers and models that grace magazines today????Let me just tell you that this model and this photographer grace the Rio Grande Valley! Do I not have some talented and beautiful friends????

I will not reveal who my friend is (and if you know please don't say!!!) but I will reveal the marvelous lady that captured these shots. Her name is Melissa Rodriquez of Melissa Rodriguez Photography. I have mentioned her before on my blog. But what a neat idea for this session! Model was a wee bit shy about the "Maternity Boudoir" theme and she did get the traditional shots as well. But Melissa wanted to try something different on for size and I am so glad she did and that her model obliged. Because it's just pure art and how in the world can you keep that a secret?

If you're pregnant and want to capture these precious moments in the beauty and glory that it is, call Melissa!

So sadly, I have never had professional pictures taken because of that whole being poor thing. But if I get pregnant and look like that, I am selling my newborn to get these shots!!!!!

Yeah-our website is up! It is just a shell as I have yet to download any products and that may take a while. But we are one step closer!

I have designed a few invitations for a few people and I didn't have my logo on them. I just got a call from someone who was trying to track me down because they loved the invitations! How cools is that? So excited!!!!!!
