Scandal Eyes Rockin' Curves Mascara Review

Hello lovelies!!! Happy Monday!! I am so happy to be back in these parts after a week away!! Thank you all so much for your kind words during my week away! I really missed you all so very much! And I hope you all had an amazing 4th of July weekend! I have so much to catch up on and cannot wait to see what all of you have been up to! :D
So today I wanted to share with you all an amazing new mascara I recently decided to purchase. As you know, I have really been loving the Revlon Bold Lacquer by Grow Luscious Mascara. I had repurchased it twice, so it really has been my go to mascara for quite a few weeks. Until recently, I had decided to try the Scandal Eyes Rockin' Curves Mascara. And ladies, I am so happy I did. First of all, the packaging. I love the way this mascara looks. It has almost a fishnet-scaled type of look. Also, when you rub your fingers over it- it has a raised feel and is textured and slightly scaled. Its pretty darn cool.
The product itself is equally as fabulous. It really exceeded all of my expectations. Here's why. In literally 3 swipes I had full, fanned out, thick black lashes. Its completely fuss proof and gave my lashes a fun, flirty and wide eyed look. I am having so much fun with this mascara. It has a lovely large, completely curved brush. The curve is so pronounced that when I swipe my lashes, it literally does all the work for me. I honestly have never seen a brush quite like this one and it truly delivers. Not too long ago, I had reviewed the Rimmel London Scandal Eye's Retro Glam Mascara and was not terribly impressed. However, I am a huge fan of Rimmel's Products and could not resist trying out this mascara. I am so happy I did. I urge any mascara lover to pick this one up a.s.a.p!

I am head over heels for this mascara. And as mentioned I truly urge one to pick this one up and give this mascara a try. Armed and Readi Jewelry Review.

Hello lovelies! Happy Monday! Today I wanted to share with you all some great pieces that were provided for me courtesy of Armed and Readi. Remember when I went to they're event and said there was a reason why? Well this is it!! They were so amazing and kind to work with. And were beyond generous and provided me with some super fabulous pieces to review. I was at they're amazing event about a month ago and had the pleasure of scouting out some amazing pieces to call my own. Below are the one's that I chose.

Jewelry c/o Armed and Readi

This piece is the Meet Me At Coachella Necklace for $22. I loved this necklace from the moment I saw it. It's a longer necklace that sits right on top of the chest. Its super pretty and would look amazing with a plain Tee or a Maxi Dress. It has such a lovely Aztec look, which of course, I love. I simply cannot wait to wear it. And check out that Turquoise!

This ring is absolutely stunning. It has iridescent colors inside and is so pretty on. It has a bunch of pretty multi-colored specks inside and looks so pretty in the light. It almost glows. It almost has an ethereal vibe to it and is truly so beautiful.

Next is this beautiful Criss Crossed half circle ring. Its Gold colored and so elegant. Its wonderful to dress up an outfit for an evening out. It can be worn by itself or with multiple rings to get a stacked look.

Last but not least, this gorgeous Eye Midi Ring. Its so pretty and stylish. I really do not own any piece like it. I love the ''Evil Eye'' look right now and this is simply perfect! This is another piece that I truly fell in love with and is really one of a kind. Love!

Honestly, I could get through the Summer with just these pieces alone. They are so versatile and beautiful and cannot say enough good things about them. As a lot of you may know by now, I am jewelry obsessed and can never have enough pieces. Hey Guys! Happy Tuesday!! Today I am super excited because I am linking up with Amy from over at The Crazy Wise Woman. She came up with a genius idea to share all the things we love and hate about Summer into one super fab post! Amy provides the sentence and we finish the sentence with our answers! How cool is that? So without further ado, let's get started!

The one thing I am most looking forward to this summer is: The drinks. There really is nothing better than walking down the board walk with an ice cold Margarita in your hand.

The most annoying person I know is: Sadly a family member on my b/f side, shhh lol.

I would like to meet: JLO this summer. Never happening I know, but a girl can dream.

After a long day, there is nothing better than: plopping right onto my bed and watching my favorite show's like Modern Family. LOVE!

The most embarrassing summer work uniform I ever had to wear was: Luckily never had to but I did have a school uniform once. White top/Black pants. Lame.

When I hear my alarm clock go off, I: Cringe and think, is it morning already?

My favorite form of summer exercise is: hmm, has to be walking or dancing lol. I love to dance!

When the ice cream truck comes I always: want to run outside to get some.

The oldest article of summer clothing I own is: Definitely some old sandals lol.

My favorite summer outdoor activity is: walking up and down the board walks.

My favorite thing to grill is: chicken wings. I love chicken wings! Esp. if they had marinade on them. Love!

The worst summer date/romance I had was: way to many to count lol.

My favorite summer drink is Tequila Sunrise's. Love!

There are times when I just wish summer: could be a little less hot or longer, always goes by so fast!

Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder Review

Hello lovelies!! Happy Monday! And today I wanted to share with you all one of my latest purchases from Rimmel London! I love Rimmel London! And like a lot of people, I suffer from combination skin and get extremely oily in my T-zone. So I do have to be careful in the warmer seasons about which make up I choose to wear. I do use a liquid foundation, and found that I was super shiny in certain spots like my forehead, nose and chin. Especially with my Bronzer, I can look a little too shiny. So I knew I wanted a pressed powder that would take away my shine and mattify. I also of course, did not want to spend a ton.
Thankfully, after doing some searching in my local drug store- I came across Rimmel London's mattifying Pressed Powder. First the price was right, and most of all it promised to mattify which was exactly what I needed. It was also light weight which is important. I must say, after using the product for a weeks now, that I LOVE it!! Here's why. The powder itself is super lightweight and it does exactly what it promises. It mattify's, takes away shine and looks super natural on my skin. I use it on my under eye area to set product and a little on my forehead and chin. It works wonders! The key is to actually use very little and only on areas you need. If you use a soft fluffy brush and apply a small amount, your shine will go away and it will look completely natural.

The powder itself lasts throughout the day. And even after dusting some more on, it never appeared cakey or too dull.

I would highly recommend this product to a friend. Especially if you suffer from oily skin and don't want to spend a ton of money. Its super affordable and does the job. It lasts all day and is non fussy. A light dusting is really all you need to get through the day. And remember to use it only on trouble spots, otherwise your face/skin may start to look too mattifyed and unnatural. It's inexpensive and would absolutely re purchase if I had too. 10 things to know when starting a blog

Hey guys! So today I wanted to share with you 10 things that I wish I had known when starting my blog. They are pretty self explanatory and most of you probably are aware of these by now. By no means am I an ''expert'' on this topic. However, I do think posts like these are important because as I said I-myself had no idea about these things when I first started blogging. So below are some fun and easy tips that you can use when starting out with your blog as well. :)
1. Comment, comment, comment. There's no better way to show your existence in this big bloggy world than to say Hi and show you are actually present in the blogging community. Also, I have never met one blogger who doesn't love a comment. I personally love them and it really should be on your top 3 to do list. Make it a priority.

2. Respond. There's nothing worse than someone who has paid you a compliment or taken time out to comment on your blog and you do not reply. It's a token of appreciation that goes a long way. Different social platforms use different forms of interactions. However, G+ for example, uses the same comment and reply format and find that I can have huge interaction with fellow bloggers.

3. Know your platform. For example, I use blogger. For about a year or so, I was hitting the reply option under each comment I received on my blog. What I didn't know was unless they hit ''notify me by email'' they were not receiving my comments back. I now know to reply directly back by email. Point is, by not knowing the ins and outs of your platform you can and are probably doing some damage.
To make sure you are receiving comments by email go to your blogger dashboard, hit settings and go to the ''Mobile and Email'' and make sure your email is in the ''comment notification'' box and make sure you hit save. Also, if you have G+ comments hooked up each time you share your post via G+ it will count as a comment and be slightly confusing. I recommend turning that off.

4. Share. Do not be afraid to share a post from a favorite blogger of yours. It builds online friendships and shows interest in that particular topic. More importantly, it shows that there is a human behind that screen instead of a robot or self promoter. The blogger will truly appreciate this and it will more than likely come back around to you one day. I jump at every opportunity to share something if it means something to me. It can be food, crafts, fashion or something completely out of the ordinary. Its truly give and receive and I say go for it! Side note: I personally leave politics out of it. Unless that's niche. Otherwise it can and will have an effect on your followers.

5. Blog Design. I know a lot of people say that at the end of the day content is key; which I totally agree with. But if I told you design didn't matter I would be kind of lying. Most of us when starting out have had a design that we kind of look back and say gee, what was I thinking? And that's OK. Iv'e been there. But having a great look and great content is highly recommended. Invest in a theme. There are tons of affordable templates or services especially on etsy that are super affordable that you can use to take your blog to the next level. Just make sure its not too colorful or busy. That can and will drive traffic away.
6. Be supportive. This one is very important! No body likes a snob or tomato throwing at other blogs. When your kind, its truly appreciated. The fun thing about this community is that we are all in it together and share the love for blogging. I love expressing my contentment for other bloggers. Why? Because it make's me happy. Do it because you want to! Your readers will appreciate it. And if they don't? So what? The point is to show your support and that's something I want to do. Not tear them down.

7. Explore. Using blogging community platforms for this is golden. Bloglovin, IFB, Lucky and other online communities are a sure way to find other amazing blogs in or outside of your niche. The more you explore the better. Getting ''out'' there sort of speak is another great way to learn, discover and be heard. A bloggers dream.
8. Be generous. I love when a favorite blogger of mine gives back and has some free ad space promotions, or decides to throw on some freebies every now and then. Even free tutorials are highly appreciated. It shows they are in this for all the right reasons and recognizes they're follow ship. Again, a great way to humanize the whole experience. I have a free ad option on my sponsorship tab. Even though its only if instructed, it is a great option to have in case I want to do that for a blogger and/or company.

9. Collaborate. Don't be afraid of this. Make sure this is with a blog or brand that you are familiar with. This takes the guess work out of things and ensure you are aware of their track record. Trust is everything. Some of my best accomplishments came from collaborating with other blogs. This does not have to be limited to Guest posting. It could be a giveaway, sponsored post or project. It will of course expose you to new readers who may or may not have found your blog otherwise. Which makes a huge difference in every way.

10. Try something new. Whether you tackle a different topic or doing something all together different. There's nothing more fun for both myself and other bloggers to do on they're blog. Its both interesting and shows again, that you are human and can bring something else to the table. Keeping things fresh and our audience intrigued is our job as bloggers. So mixing it up here and there shows you are both interested and not afraid of being spontaneous. Which is huge!

Humpday Confessions

Hey lovelies! Its Wednesday wooot!! And ya'll know what that means!! Its time to link up with Kathy for hump day confessions! Lets get started!
I have the weirdest effing dreams. Like dreams where I am definitely certifiable. Lucid, graphic and symbolic best describes them to say the least. I have been this way all through my life and am luckily used to it by now. Its nothing too juicy but definitely warrants sharing. Its just effin' weird.

Last nights dream consisted of yelling at friends, endless train rides that I somehow ended up lost in, the city, a weird museum, and an elevator that took my to several different floors that whenever the doors opened I was seeing hospital rooms that had secret surgeons conducting weird surgeries. Yes.. Certifiable! And that's the short version!

Moving on from that lol! I confess, I have really have to hit the gym hard this month. The Summer is just about here and as you probably know, I have a H.S. Reunion coming up and want to be as fit as possible. I wanna look gooood! I swear I woke up the other day 3 pounds heavier!

I'll admit- i'm happier than a pig in a blanket for some of my favorite shows returning this Summer. They definitely don't compare to Fall T.V. But hellooo Gypsy Sisters and Honey Boo Boo! Just to note some of my favorites. Oh and p.s. I have never watched an episode of the real housewives anything.. Just sayin'... It is confessions after all.

I confess.. There are ''some people'' at my reunion that i'm looking forward to seeing more than others. Something tells me i'll be all like... Get my drift?

I confess.. I am totally with Kathy about wanting to ring these noisy ass kids necks outside! The weather is nice and I swear they're noisier than ever.. Yelling, shouting, and running around! Make it stop! Me not a people person?

I confess, I may or may not have spent a ton on a baublebar haul! Tiffany D had a promo going on and I may have taken some advantage of it. The good news is my boyfriend was a sport and helped me out a bit! Oops! But score for me!

Its only now I realize i'm a jewelry addict!

As you can see, I love these polishes by Loreal! They come in an assortment of colors and I pretty much love them all. They are super pigmented and shiny on! This line of polishes are so pretty! I also think they're perfect for Summer too! They range from pretty pastels to bold pops of color! I love both! The formula itself is smooth and easy to apply! Even with this Bold Raspberry color, I had no trouble at all! I didn't even need to use remover! I have tried some of the other colors too and they are just as pretty! :) I definitely cannot wait to try the color Tangerine Crush next! I love my new pieces! One of my favorites is the Green Multi color necklace. The colors are beautiful and they're very unique. A&R had so many amazing pieces to choose from, so I nabbed the ones that stood out to me the most. I don't believe these pieces are on they're website. But they do have other pieces that are just as pretty! :) I actually will be selling these shades. Unfortunately, When I got home and tried them on I did not like the way they looked with the shape of my face! They have a similar pair on they're website but not these same exact ones. Armed and Readi event Pt.1

Hey guys!! Happy Friday! Woot woot! And today I wanted to share with you the amazing time I had at the Armed and Readi event on Monday! Its was pretty much every girls dream! There were jewelry everywhere, a makeup counter, and drinks.. Enough said right? This was my first major event so I was super thrilled and honored to be a part of it. The host's were spectacular and they even had those portable credit card swipers. Needles to say, I had a blast! They even had a giveaway and little gift bags on the way out- as a thank you. There was also a reason for me going as well! And cant wait to share that with you about a week or so! Of course, I had to take a bunch of photo's, so without further ado, here are the photo's iv'e been promising you guys.

The fabulous Venue Village Pour House
They have a few different locations, this one was the one on 64 3rd ave 11th Street. You can even sign up and enter to win a FREE hour of open bar on they're website! How cool is that?
The venue itself was perfect! In the front it is a regular bar with seats and tables to eat, but when you head towards the back and around the corner, there's a huge room for parties and events! I think they pulled off an amazing event and cant wait to go back! I also would love to come back to this place next time i'm in Manhattan. If you are interested at all in hosting something, go to they're website and all the information is provided.

Revlon Bold Lacquer by Grow Luscious Mascara Review

Hello lovelies! So today I wanted to share with you another mascara find! This one has really really impressed me. The last few mascara's I have bought have been bad seeds, but this one by far thankfully surpasses them. Its the Revlon Bold Lacquer by Luscious Grow Mascara. I love this one! You may have seen me mention this one in a recent post!
The formula itself is non drying and thus no flaking! Whenever I swipe this product onto my lashes it provides a nice thick coat that not only volumes but lifts. With each swipe I am left with a full and flirty set of lashes. Whether or not I am actually seeing my lashes grow is another story lol, however, it is definitely not bad for them. It actually seems to hydrate them. It is non fussy and I don't find myself fighting with it to get my achieved look. It has amazing build ability and is an easy formula to work with.

The brush itself is the perfect size. Its not huge so I don't have to constantly wipe my lids.

I highly recommend this mascara. I actually re-purchased this and i'm not even done with this one. And that's pretty amazing considering I love to try new products, especially where mascara's concerned. It is so worth it and I cant say enough good things about it! My top 10 reasons on why to start a blog

Hey lovelies! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! So today I just wanted to share with you all the top 10 reasons on why I started a blog! One of my favorite things to do everr is blogging! It provides a creative outlet for both my creativity and thoughts! And is also a source for meeting new people. Cool right? There are a ton of benefits as to why one should want to start a blog, the list literally does go on and on. But I just wanted to highlight the top 10 reasons why I blog and why you should too! Hope you guys like, so lets get started!
1. Connecting with others. There are so many amazing people to meet when having a blog, like I have! There really is nothing better! You get to meet hundreds if not thousands of people that share the same interests as you do! The most amazing and fascinating people have blogs and these are truly experiences of a lifetime.

2. Make your voice heard. I live for this one! We all have a voice, and sharing one's opinion is the best thing in the world to do. And your blog should be an outlet for this. Whether its controversial or not, you get to share and express how you feel about it. Best of all? Besides not having anyone to tell you ''no'' because it is your blog after all, you get to communicate with others and start the conversation. Making your voice heard is good for the soul, and I really believe that!
3. Get your creative juice flowing. Having a blog allows you to get creative no matter what your nitch is! This allows you and forces your creative juices to flow. Whether its visual or a written article, blogging really allows for us to get creative. Like a muscle, the more you do it- the better you get.

4. Stress relief. We've all had those weeks where nothing went right! Or that guy we started seeing turned out to be a jerk. Whatever it is, having a blog as an outlet allows us to get our thoughts and feelings out in the open in the most creative and safest way possible. More times than not I find the person posting is provided tremendous support and advice. Talk about a win-win.

5. Learn more. Learning is at the epicenter of the bloggersphere by surrounding yourself in your hobbies or interests of your choice. With hundreds upon hundreds of topics to choose from, your always learning and thus staying motivated! Its a great way to learn and better a hobby or an interest.

6. Get Inspired. Which kind of ties into the one above. Whether its recipe's or OOTD there's a ton of inspiration just a click away.

7. Advice. There's no better source than to ask for advice on your blog. It doesn't have to be anything too personal or compromise anyone's privacy. Something as simple as what to wear for an event, or asking what color polish to wear can be helpful! Twitter is also a great place to do this as well.
8. Revenue. Most bloggers like to take advantage of this great opportunity. Affiliate links can be a great way to earn a little extra cash on the side. Some bloggers have even turned this into a career. Marketing to your particular nitch is key. If your lucky, some companies may even reach out to you for a particular service. In the end, always be honest with your audience- whatever the case may be. Also, if you yourself have a product to sell, this can be a great way to build an audience and potential clients.

9. Let your personality shine through. There really is no greater way than to express who you are as a person than with a blog. There are 101 ways to express who you are and what your style is via blog. Always remember to be genuine and express yourself freely. This is one of the best things about having a blog. You get to take any and all creative liberties to be unique and real with your readers. The more you that shines through, the better!

10. Be your own boss. Unless you are working for someone through your blog, there is no need to really have to answer to anyone but yourself. Sure when something's due if your working with a company or blogger that's one thing. However, being the sole owner of your blog allows you to go at your own pace, thus allowing you some major freedom. Yes, posting regularly is recommended. But if not, or if you have an off week the blogging police wont come and find you. I find that this is key and super important. having the freedoms and the liberty to do what you want is priceless. Everyone is different, and some may even prefer more structure than others.

Forever 21 Jewelry Haul

Hey lovelies! Its Friday woot woot! Hope everyone had a great week so far!! So today I wanted to share with you some pieces that I recently bought from Forever 21! Most of they're jewelry is super affordable so I usually go there if I want some really cute pieces for less!! Like most of you, I have really been loving midi rings lately! So of course I went to F21 and nabbed myself a few! I also threw in a polish for good measure, lol! Its an Orange color, so I couldn't resist! Some of these pieces could be worn day to day or for a night on the town! I think variety is key. So come take a look! :)

The one thing I will say that's different about the F21 Statement necklaces, is that they fall a bit shorter than regular Statement Necklace's. I wish they were a bit longer. What I may end up doing is adding a few links at my local jewelry store. Other than that, no complaints here!

This color shows up a bit more neon on the nails!I found with this particular color I needed 3 coats! Otherwise, it would have been slightly transparent!

My Beauty Routine

Hello lovelies!! Happy Monday and hope everyone had a fabulous Mothers Day! I am so thrilled to share with you all some products that I use each and every single day! I love reviewing makeup, so I just wanted to go a little more in depth about not just my favorite products but one's I actually use day to day! I am a creature of habit, so I assure you these have been my go to products for quite some time. I always change up my mascara, but the rest more or less stay the same. Please note, what may work for me may not work for you. This is just my cheap and simple way I get ready in the morning.

Makeup I use every morning

Neutrogena Liquid Foundation in Classic Ivory #10
1. Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup! I swear by this stuff! Please understand, I have redness, combination skin, and i'm acne prone (lucky me) and this stuff really-really works! It applies evenly and brightens up my skin. Once on, you could never tell I had any unevenness or redness at all. I have used a ton of foundations, and this one wins hands down. The trick is to find your right shade as with everything. But once you do, say goodbye to uneven skin and redness. This is my 2nd bottle. I am a quarter of the way through. And I will be re purchasing this once this runs out. I personally use a sponge to apply, using blotting motions across the whole face. I feel this works best with the consistency of this foundation.

2. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser. This stuff is Fantastic. Its a little tricky because if you use a little too much is can crease under the eye. A setting powder or primer would help this. This treatment takes away all traces of dark circles and puffiness. The applicator is the best part because it acts like a mini buffer when applying. So it's super gentle and applies evenly. I sometimes even use this on little blemishes or discoloration I may have for further concealing. I give this product two thumbs up.

3. NYC Sun N' Bronze Bronzing Powder. I know it doesn't look like most glamorous Bronzer out there, partially because iv'e used the heck out of it, but I really enjoy this product. For Fair skin, I suggest starting with less product and building as you go. It lends a really great glow to skin. I chose one that has more natural skin shade's like light pink and peach. And the darker strips have more of the bronzer. Because of the color palette, I can use this over most of my face. I recommend using this during the cooler seasons just to give your skin a bit more color and glow. For the warmer seasons I tend to use a bit more, or just use a different one all together. Either way is good. Careful though, too much an you can start to look Orange.

4. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush. One of my favorites! This color in particular is simply gorgeous. Its called Memorable from the Amazonian Clay line. Unfortunately, I believe it's limited edition. However, I have spotted it on Ebay, so i'm sure you can find it there. I highly recommend this blush. Minimal product is needed because it shows up very well. It provides a great pinky flush to your cheeks, and it also has a hint of shimmer so it looks radiant and beautiful on. Love this one!! (Link is to Ebay)

Revlon Bold Lacquer Mascara in Blackest Black #001

5. Revlon Bold Lacquer by Grow Luscious. As you know, I love trying out new mascara's. And this is my latest one. It's a new mascara by Revlon and I really cannot say enough good things about it. Its applies clump free, It lends a ton of volume and the formula itself seems hydrating and healthy for my lashes. Because this is not a full review, I do not have a photo of the wand. However, I can assure you this mascara is absolutely fantastic and does wonders for my lashes. I would like to note, that the original Revlon Luscious Grow Mascara I bought was terrible. It didn't do a darn thing. I even returned it. So I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this product and fell in love with it. I think it's bold for sure.

The coveted eye lash curler! I don't use this on a regular basis, but this is something every girl should have just in case they need it! It has padding where the eye lashes clamp, which I think that is much safer than the non-padded. 10 Things that make me super Happy!

Hey lovelies! Happy Wednesday! Today I wanted to discuss with you 10 things that make me happy! I did write a similar post called 32 things that make me happy last month, but this time, I wanted to highlight my top 10! There are of course those proverbial days where we may not be feeling 100%. Maybe a bit sad, or unmotivated. Whatever the case, here are some things that brighten my day no matter what! Lets begin!
1. My Cats!! Honestly, whenever I see them I just somehow feel like it's all going to be OK! I recently had a death in the family which of course hit us all so hard. Whenever I saw these girls, I just felt a sense that things were going to be alright. I cant imagine life without them. :)

Molly aka ''Moollie'' (moo)-(lee)She's the sweetest girl! She loves to always show love and affection!She's 3 years old.

2. Sushi. I love sushi! I can actually live off of this stuff. If I feel like i'm in a funk, this is my go to food. Such a treat! :)

3. Drinks! Extra points if there is chips and salsa. I look forward to Fridays and Saturdays as we all do for this reason. But there really aren't any ''rules'' per-say about only enjoying ourselves on those days of the week. A mid week cocktail or a night out on the town is sometimes just what we need for that little pick me up.

4. Pampering yourself. Now that doesn't necessarily mean a spa day although understand I have nothing against that.. they're just so darn expensive, sniff.. But maybe a piece of jewelry or a new polish or a new dress can help! Hellooo retail therapy! At this point, I am the poster child for this one. And i'm soo not sorry!

5. My boyfriend! I love him so much and he is everything to me. He's the best guy there is and I am reminded everyday of how blessed I am to have him. I've been with him for a few years now but I always feel like I have known him forever. I still smile every time I see him! Which is everyday because we live together, lol

6. Watching my favorite show's, which I am extremely picky about. I only have a few so when I watch a show I enjoy, I really enjoy it! Modern.. cough.. Family.. cough cough. I swear no matter what my mood is, that show always makes me feel better.

7. Music. Music makes the world go round or at least it certainly make's mine! Music has the power to transform any mood into something fantastic! If you don't like music then i'm sorry you have no soul! Ive been loving this song by Katy Perry! Its very chipper, lol!

8. Reading others blogs! This may seem weird, but when I go and visit my favorite blogs, especially if I need a little pick me up, it's very uplifting; Whether its fashion or humor it always puts a smile on my face. It's also a great way to get inspired. :)

9. Anything that has the word Leo, Ryan, Brad, or George in it. Just sayin'.

10. Last but certainly not least, when I need a major pick me up, three day get away's are the way to go. I love the Pocono's in PA. Its soo budget friendly too! If you search online a bit you can find some major steals as far as where to stay and such. They're are such great activities around like the casino's or the local attractions. The change of scenery alone is for sure a mood pleaser. Definitely one of my favorite place's to be.

NYX Lip Gloss and Eye Shimmer Review

Hey lovelies!! Hope everyone had an amazing weekend! I recently discovered in one of my most favorite drugs stores that they started to carry the NYX Cosmetic's Line! I had seen a ton of posts and youtube video's on this brand and was thrilled that I now had a chance to try them out for myself. I have visited their site from time to time and that always furthered my curiosity with this brand. They are super affordable and seem to have a pretty great following. With that said, I naturally decided to buy a few products to test out and see if they really deliver.
Lets start with the Lip gloss. The packaging is super cute and very straight forward. The color selection was pretty great too. As soon as I saw these two colors I knew they would be the one's I would try. I am sorry to say that they fell VERY short of my expectations. Here's why. They are a thicker formula and apply well, however, after about 5-10 minutes after applying- the product was gone!! It just dissolved.. literally! I was left with nothing more than a barely there coat of what felt like a lip balm. I am not exaggerating when I say it took mere minutes. I could see even a few hour's.. but nope! In this case you definitely get what you pay for.

As you can see they swatch pretty well and true to the color of the bottle itself. The swatch is also pretty pigmented which is the case. Upon applying it to my lips, it can seem a bit too thick because when I smacked my lips together, there was that faint line of gloss. I had to fuss a bit to make that line disappear.
As for the Eye Shimmer Roll On, it's quite pretty! I believe it was about $5 and change. As with most eye products you definitely need a primer. Especially for shimmery products. You can add as little or as much shimmer and color as you like. The color itself is exactly as described. It's a Pink'ish Mauve and would compliment Brown, Hazel or Green eyes. Application is super easy because it rolls right on.

I was so disappointed with the lip glosses that I am returning them. They are a complete waste and absolutely would not recommend them to a friend. As far as the eye shimmer I would probably buy one more color, but that's about it. So if your looking for a reasonably priced eye shimmer you can go with this. Before I tried the gloss I wanted to try they're mascara and other products but I have to admit I will be skipping it. I may try the lipstick being that it seems that they're products seem to be a hit or miss. As for this lip gloss, it's a no go!

My new Favorite Spring/Summer Drink

Hello Lovelies! Hope all of you are having a great week so far! :) Its only Tuesday but I wanted to talk drinks! Guys, I think I have finally found my ''drink soul mate''. And of course, simply had to share it with all of you. Its called the Arnold Palmer named after the famous Golfer (Because golfing and drinking go together of course, lol). It is thee perfect drink for Spring and Summer. Its a combination of Vodka, Iced Tea and Lemonade. I'm probably a little late on this bandwagon, but better late than never right?

Recipe:

Take a glass or a Mason Jar and fill half of it with Ice Cubes.
Take 1 Ounce of your choice of Vodka (or more) and pour into glass or Jar.
Fill half with Lemonade.
Half with Iced Tea. Garnish with a sliced Lemon and your all set!

Easy Peasy right? I swear by this drink.. Its simply fabulous!

Jewelry Storage

Hey lovelies! It's Monday again!! I Hope all of you had a fantastic weekend! I know I certainly had! I finally decided to bite the bullet and organize all of my jewelry! Yay!! I had a ton of piece's that were kind of hidden away in my standing jewelry box. I had no idea of what I had and didn't have. Huge Bummer! I ended up getting a Black Necklace Tier Stand and a White Bracelet Tier Stand to hang all my jewelry on from Michaels. They were ''relatively'' inexpensive.
The Necklace tier stand was $12.99 I believe and the Bracelet one was $8.99.. And let me tell you, it made a world of difference! I can actually see what I have which make's getting ready that much easier. I am definitely going back for the ring display's as well. :) I still have some ways to go in the organization department. After I tackle the jewelry, I will start going through my closet's. There's a ton of stuff that just need to go. But i'll get to that another time.

My New Zebra Bracelet + L/U

Hey Lovelies!! So beside's the fact that it's Friday (And what could be better than that?) I am so happy because I get to share with you my new goodie from my KL Shop! I really have been wanting this cuff for like ever and I am so happy that it has finally arrived! Its a statement piece but yet still looks like a classic. It has gold accenting but best of all it's Zebra Print. It slip right on or off and would go with pretty much everything in my closet. Come take a look!!

There's something about Zebra Print that I just love! And the Gold detailing is the cherry on top! I love the combo. I think it's simply beautiful!

This absolutely can be worn during the day, but would be great for a night out as well. Its one of those piece's that can easily go from day to night. How cool is that right?

Maybelline Pumped Up Colossal Volume Express Review

Hey lovelies! Hope everyone had a Fabulous weekend! The weather is really warming up which is really great! Last week I had discussed my experience with the Rimmel London Scandal Eye's Mascara Review. And I just wanted to say thank you for all your lovely comment's, it always means so much to me to hear from you all. And I am also glad it helped some of you out a lot, especially if you were thinking about purchasing it. :)

Next on my list is the Maybelline New York Pumped Up Colossal Volume Express Mascara. This mascara is fairly new and the packaging seemed pretty cute. Compared to the Rimmel Scandal Eye's Mascara this one is far better. The bristles are thick and voluptuous. And the formula is pretty great too. It lends volume and gives lashes a lift. It also provided a fringe like affect to to my lashes that were cute, fun and flirty. For the record, it did take some time to get my lashes exactly how I like them. Nothing too terrible though.

The Bristles were fringe like and provided quite a bit of product for my lashes.

The wand was also pretty fun. Even though it had nothing to do with the formula itself, I thought it was a cute touch. The overall packaging is really fun and flirty. It was hot pink with yellow/gold letters.

Aside from the visuals, over all I give it a B+. I was a little on the fence about this one because it was not bad but it was not great. I would not go out of my way to recommend it to a friend. For me, this is definitely a one time purchase. I am glad I tried it but cannot wait to try more formula's.
